"I can't really say how they keep the noise down but..."

Dawn kicks the dorm room wall to the side of her,

"The wall has something to do with it. I know, it's hard to describe other then it being like a sponge for noise. You can just cry out loud and your friends to the left and right of you won't hear any of it. You can try, I really am not lying."

"I believe you but, I've been okay as long as that stays true I can ignore it right?"

She commented with her usual simple smile on her face; not a care in the world in her head even with the mention of monsters on the island.

"And they can't be that bad; I've never seen any blood unless they eat the girls whole."

"Oh no they won't eat you, at least not from what i experienced. They will do to you much worse. Being raped by these things will cause brain trama. I for one am an example. I won't go into details but, you can find my picture in the campus walls. Then you will know what I am talking about."

Dawn smiled softly, she was happy she was able to survive though all of what she was placed in. Then again she doesn't want to scare this girl half to death, she was too nice and innocent to have it happen to her. Then again so was she, herself, before that was taken away. However losing something always had a gain, and she gained more then she had lost, hopefully anyway.

"I, being one of the last of my class, I feel the responsibility to protect whats left of my class, as well as the new commers. Being the *Senior* isn't something I like to be called. I'm sure whats left of my class would feel the same. Being a *Senior* just means, everyone else you know is gone, and there is really nothing you can do about it."

"Oh okay... I see..."

One couldn't look at airi without wwondering if she actually understood but, the answer to that question came quickly enough from the long haired embodyment of innocence.

"What's rape mean?"

Her voice was soft and meek the smile had completely vanished from her face now. Though still honestly she was adorable.

Dawn smiled at the question, it was the first time she actually had to try and describe the word rape. This girl was innocent, WAY to innocent, but that was for the better.

"uhm...that's a good question...actually I never had to do that. Hm...ok i got it, it's when something, or someone tries to have sex with you without your permission."

Dawn nodded, thinking maybe she got the answer for the odd question.

"Oh... ummm no one's sucessfully described sex to me yet but, I'm guessing it's something that's not good to be forced."

she answered simply with a nod showing it was better she not try to explain.

"Oh ya, it's more of a... love thing."

Dawn didn't want to explain that one either, but she knew this girl was innocent, too innocent to describe the horrors of this campus to her.

"Kay kay, though love is something I don't understand well either lets not go further with that..."

she paused scratching her head a little.

"Can I read the translated version of a song I'm writing to you; I want to see if it makes sense in english yet."

"oh? Please i would be glad to. anything from an idol."

Dawn smiled, she knew she would already be an idol in America, if she never had choosen to come to this freaken place.

Airi noddewd and exited to her closet coming out in anohter outfit She sighed slightly standing before Dawn.

"It's only a poem for now I have no music for it yet."

Another pause and she took a deep breath before she began.

by the time she was done she was half ready to cry... Dawn was probably the first person to ever see tears on Airi's cheeks.

Dawn was very touched by the song. It was very very touching, it reminded her of 1000 Words from Final Fantasy X-2. Dawn stood in front of Airi and smiled before gently cleaning her face with some napkins.

"That was...so touching...I don't think I have ever heard anything so...emotional."

"Thank you... I'm glad it makes sense now..."

she said simply looking up to Dawn with those saddened eyes that made it more than obvious it came from the heart even if she didn't understand some of it.

"It was beautiful, I listen to Japanese songs and i don't speak the language but i get the emotional part of the song and that's what will get people. No matter if they don't understand it or not."

This is true too, she loved to hear Japanese songs because of there emotions in the songs can be felt when you hear it, and that's what matters.

"Yeah... music is wonderful like that; the tune and tone of the voice is all you need to set the emotions."

She commented mmoving to hug Dawn again feeling a bit of a need for a friend right now rather than a fan.

"Again Airi, if you ever need anyone to talk to I'll try and be there for you. That is all i can offer you from this damned place. Always be careful and don't let your guard down. Keep your senses and try and understand it."

Which something Dawn has special she hasn't mentioned, only Kim and Sondra know of her little gift, that came as a huge cost, along with that little side effect of her front part of her blonde hair turning pink.
