He used the broken down bike, which has far outlived it's purpose. Running low on fuel and being warned every now and then about the levels, threatening the atomic battery, Kouzakai was growing tired of it.

So, as soon as they reached the dock where the ships were located, Kouzakai drove the bike into a tar swamp before leaping off it. He preferred this place because of its tar pits; less agents, more space for noisy off-planet launches. He would enjoy those here.

The tar pit claimed the bike. It's owner might miss it, but Kouzakai will not.

" Well..." he said, looking at the structure. " Incidentally, my ship is docked here too."

Kouzakai entered, waving off the security, since he was recognized pretty well. They bowed down politely and let him and Mariktal in without much fuss, as compared to those who came after them, who underwent full security check.

" I had a little repair done on my ship...and refuelled." As he said that, he regretted having to junk his bike so callously. He should have just fed it to the Devourer. It would have served to be a pretty darn good fuel.

The Devourer was docked inside a spacious dome, reserved for Alliance uses. It was being fed debris, junk, and whatnot, since it uses these as part artillery, and part fuel. He walked alongside the trader.

" So where is this ship of yours?"

"Ja my ship isn't far ne."

she answered simply as she lead him to the stinger. The ships design was sleek though obviously designed as both fighter and living quarters as it was larger than a common fighter. Definately not of ADD design save for what looked to be a large drill that was plowed through one of the two long prong like portions that protruded from the main body of her ship that contained all it's weapon systems save for the single se of back up in the main pod.

"Ja this is Stinger; the A.I.'s name is Coilette. Look however you feel compeled ne."

the machinary working on her ship were carefuly dislodging the drill like weapon various programmers were working to remove the virus from her computers. A simple weak shock hit her reminding her of her assignment much to her displeasure.

"Ja ADD are a great pain in the Jixkapli ne."

she commented as though she were speaking of her ship rather than the obedience collar around her neck that he had yet to see.

" You said it..." he said, looking over the ship in awe.

It was enough for a standard starfighter, and it could easily pose for a battle-class cruiser with a one man pilot. His ship had to be rearranged to make it a one man ship, as it was designed, or grown, to be a crew ship. Too large to be a starfighter, it was designated as a one man assault cruiser, with the individual controls for each battle station overridden and the console given to the sole custody of the pilot.

Although it could hold cargo, because of it's large size, and it could also easily be a passenger vessel for a group...or sometimes it became the Lieutenant's own personal 'nesting ground'.

The fixture on the nose of the ship, the 'Stinger', somewhat resembled designs of standard ADD issue drillers. These were notorious for puncturing holes in the sides of Alliance cargo frigates, thus sucking out most of their cargo and providing a boarding dock for ADD foot patrols. These had hurt them greatly in the past, but not now when it was standard for every shipment to be escorted with one whole flight squadron sent from a nearby system or a nearby planet.


" These..." he said, pointing to the fixture being removed..." You don't suppose...they came from your planet?"

He was getting hints, even though she displayed great annoyance on the ADD, that this girl might be hiding who she really was. There was no doubt about it now.

"Ja as I said before; It's an ADD weapon... new design from what I can tell, latches onto computer systems and disables them all but, life support leaved a huge hole in your ship ne."

The drill was soon removed from one of the two weapon portions of her ship a large hole in it which quickly began to knit back together.

"We've gotten the virus out of most of the systems though the lock out of the weapons is too complex to remove here."

"Those who bring me bad news often end up dead... you're lucky you work for the alliance..."

she spat as she looked at her ship and the large weapon that had been removed. another pause came as yet another shock racked through her body.

"Ja Coilette barely saved my backside with her barriers over the propulsion systems or I'd be in ADD custody now ne."

Bingo.

" Ah, I never asked you about that ADD weapon..." he said, suspicion becoming clear by now. She WAS an ADD agent. She was not a smuggler. No matter what she did, she would never take that concept off his mind.

" I would suspect as much you managed to...get it...from one of their ships, hmm?" he said, pretending to inspect the ship. " Yeah, those ships really had nice weapons on them...say, how did you get that virus into your computer...what's her name again...Coilette?"

He was fingering his sword's hilt slowly, feeling the slick iron on his touch. It had never rusted, not before, and not now, when it was seemingly alive and beckoning him to slice something. The sword seemed to speak in his mind, and it was telling him that it was hungry for blood.

It never got its wish, though it did get it's fair share of cutting things in half.

" Ahhh...such travels that had you in contact with your ADD enemies." he said, doing a great job of hiding a sarcastic smile. " and such...fascinating weapons they had..."

He was playing and replaying scenarios in his mind...she did seem like she was no normal girl to take down, since she spoke with a dialect he has never before heard. She would be a different treat, though.

Exotic.

"Ja Didn't you ask about what was being removed? That is the only thing ne."

She commented curiously she had mistook what he said; it hadn't been a slip and in truth she was a smuggler; indeed one of the best not too long ago either.

"Ja Come let me show you ne."

She began leading the lt. to the removed device; the new model of driller had a few small tendrils on it that were designed to interface with computers a nasty little weapon really.

"Vile device... poor coilette..."

she skipped the curtosey out of anger at the device.

"Ja Take the device to the alliance, study it so you may defend against it ne."

she would kick the device though it was far too large to be shifted with the light kick she gave it. visor locked in on his hand fingering his weapon warning her of the possible danger.

"Ja I do hope lord Archanius does not mind me being late for our meeting... you know him better than me, will it be understood that the ADD delayed me in my acceptance of the offered captain position ne?"

Was it a case of mistaken identity,or was he really on the right track to smell a foul stench in their organization?

Nevertheless, the monster was convinced that she was trying to act the double agent part...trying to spy on the ADD for the Alliance and in turn, supplying the ADD with a load of information from within. Truth be told she was doing a rather good job of covering up.

Plus, if she was REALLY annoyed with what the ADD had done to her, she wasn't the first agent to be genuinely pissed off; he'd encountered one or two in the past, who were disgruntled agents. But they still did their job in spite of their apparent frustrations.

" You being a captain?" he spoke, a little disbelief in his voice. " And here I thought you were...a privateer, to be under the Alliance only in situations which required you to be in it."

Such positions as captain were reserved only for aliens and creatures like him, so he could not believe what he heard. Besides, she had said earlier that she disliked working for organizations and such.

Her cover was beginning to blow apart at the seams. The grip on his sword's hilt had never been tighter, despite him knowing she was too wise not to notice the way his hand held his weapon.

He took notice of the ADD device just to dispel his fast-mounting allegations.

" That indeed is one vile weapon." he said, looking at the said ADD device that seemed to have live appendages attached on it. In fact it looked more like a live creature, which had latched onto a drill bit, rather than anything else more mechanized. " The ADD seems to have upped their ante on research and development."

He looked as the weapon was wheeled away, into the WarLabs.

" Well." he said. " Your ship seems...fine enough. And as for Archanius, well...I don't know...he greatly hates delays...and spies."

"Ja It was an offer I could not refuse, a high ranking position and the chance to enjoy the strongest male I've ever heard of; Raised Kali power is quite appealing ne."

another shock and she shut down the communication system of her suit tempted to rip the collar off her neck though knowing well enough it would kill her if she did she left it alone.

"Spies... your tone and pulse rate seem to tell me you're accusing me!"

She raised her cannon aiming at his head for just a second before again lowering it she huffed.

"Ja I understand why you would forgive that spike of anger ne."

She glanced to her ship and sighed slightly to herself.

Damn this collar every time I compliment him or the alliance I get shocked! This is not fair Kioxlak!!!

she cursed in her head repeated a few hundred times in a row all in kaltek.

" Oh? I wasn't accusing you at all...is that how it came out?"

He was getting her cover down little by little, as that little sarcastic undertone came out of his mouth rather well. It did not sound all that much like an accusing comment but it hit her rather well.

The next action was to be expected, but she was rather the veteran for the action she made. Automatically her arms raised her beloved cannon, aiming it at his head. He did not move; he merely smiled. She hugely underestimated the speed of his sword and it's cutting power. Plus there were a lot of guards in the area, all of which had their hands on their holsters at that incident.

She, however, quieted down. At the same time the guards backed down as well, and continued with whatever they were doing before.

" Hmm.." he said, " Forgive my impudence, it was just that...well...I'm not much of a trusting person. Usually, someone has to earn my trust first."

He then walked towards her.

" True...Archanius is the strongest male in this galaxy. But he is not the only one to hold that title. Truth is, he is merely one of the strongest." he said, reacting to the statement that she would enjoy the strongest male in the galaxy.

Then again, maybe she would.

" Plus, it might be that you reek of...that familiar ADD smell." he said, turning around.

The grip on the sword's hilt tightened some more. You never know...

"Ja I'm asshamed to admit but I do share the same genetics as human toys; it is the Kali technology that gives me my ability and long life ne. to my understanding I was born before the first human female was taken as a slave ne."

Kariktul explained as a display of trust to Kouzakai the visor remained on her suit as the jolt went through her again.

"Ja I carry that ADD scent because of that; I loathe that scent ne."

She shock returned and she turned to face kouzakai.

"Ja I trust that grip on your blade means you don't trust me; if that is the case kouzakai then I suppose you'll attack me; if you wish to do I recommend you do it now ne."

There are two things one can do in order to find out if the person standing before them is a spy of the ADD or merely just someone caught in a bad time.

Her being a female was the first unfortunate circumstance that led him to believe thus. The ADD was employing, sometimes against their will, dozens upon dozens of female victims willing to trade the life of a perpetual slave or toy for the life of someone hunting former hunters. It was a one-in-a-million chance to get back at the monsters for the nightmares they've given these people. And now, here was one of such who was placed in a precarious position.

Kouzakai had enough of a mind to be on the defensive more than he was on the offensive. She was docile for a reason...there was something on her to make her docile. It could be a fighting form he had yet to see, a nifty little gadget designed to protect her ably, or something else...a weapon which would blow him away out of existence.

Surely he could defend well against anything the ADD could put against him, but just to make sure, he had to try things out for himself.

He stepped forward slowly, drawing his sword and alarming the personnel to evacuate.

" Be on your guard." he said, before disappearing into thin air. " I am attacking."

"Ja So be it ne."

She sighed slightly her vizor cycling through various settings until she found the one she wanted; one based on vibration variousion within the air. she could see everything in black and white as long as it moved through the air; of course it was completely useless in space but, when she used her suit on a planet she had no better tool save for against energy masses.

"Ja I shall inform lord Archanius of your passing when I arrive then ne."

She lifted her arm cannon and it's shell opened emitting a bright warm glow; a very dangerous glow obviously as she raised it into the air and fired once desimating anything above her; it was a show of force and an expulsion of excess energy she wouldn't need; she was cocky to say the least though not foolish she'd take a few step the suit was quite a bit slower than kouzakai on a planet with gravity such as this. It wasn't meant for fast paced combat though; soon kouzakai would learn it was Galaxies more durable than ADD issued body armor.

He smiled, since combat was, by far, his most favorite foreplay. It kind of turned him on; and facing an adversary who had either the skills or the weapons to be at par with him, that was the kind he'd hunted so far for.

He was on his way behind her, when he noticed that she kind of followed his actions even if he was moving quicker than most everything. That gun looked menacing; he had not seen it on standard ADD ships and since this was the first time, he did nothing but dodge and duck. He wanted to see if she would fire...

And fire she did.

It was a careless shot. Had it been fired a little off mark it would have hit the hangar containing her ship; that would have been messy, since it did seem she had a serious connection with the ship, and it seemed like her only choice. Everything was wiped out with that shot, and it hit him dead center on the chest.

A slow movement came from within the smoke, as she tried to see if there was movement. Kouzakai had proven the toughness of his armour. It saved his life yet again, the chest-plate which had been developed by their famed WarLabs. It was smoking, and was red-hot from where the ammo had hit him.

Kouzakai spitted blood from having bitten his own lip, and smiled.

" Inform Archanius of what, again?" he asked, smiling and feeling as if a little kid inside a candy shop.

"Oh? you survived that little expulsion of excess energy did you? though it does look as though it did sting at the very least."

Kariktul offered little more than a shrug and acknowledging nod to her opponent.

"Ja Wouldn't respect you if you died to something I hadn't meant to kill you ne."

She rolled her neck within her suit and took another step forward; her ship would have survived the assult; it had been designed with the kali powersuit abilities in mind; just in case of civil war. she lifted her opposite arm stretching her fingers slightly and the suit did the same. next she raised the canon and aimed it towards kouzakai and it charged though differently than before before firing a different colored beam; a grappler beam; manipulared gravity of either her target of her suit itself for any purpose she could use; often used to play with their targets before a kill. An arm blade extended from her left the cannon on her right.

" Of course. You expect so little of a ranked officer of the Alliance."

Walking with that ember on his chest made it seem like he was some demon out of hell. It certainly did create an illusion that he, however, was indestructible. To himself, however, he was not sure whether he was really indestructible...or really lucky.

He was gripping and releasing his sword. He'd figured out that he might as well take all that this girl could dish out, and see if he could take as much as she can give. He walked like a giant among men, ever menacingly looming over the petite frame of the girl, hidden in a suit meant to make her seem taller than she really was.

There was a second popping noise, a humming, and a sudden jerk to his body. It seemed that she aimed for him once again, and fired something that a gravitron would. The gravity around him suddenly multiplied a hundredfold, and he was down on one knee as the gun fired it's malevolent beams at him.

" Damn." he managed to cuss, although he was smiling.

Though all was not at a loss. He smiled once more...and then threw out his sword at the last minute, seeing it hurtle towards the gun that was tormenting him.
