"Sanity? I don't have what most would call sanity. I have basically nothing. no happiness no sorrow no anger and finally absolutely no sanity... it's the only way I maintain any humanity is by losing most of it."

I admit it wasn't the prettiest thing ever to hide all your emotions nor was it the easiest thing to do, but it was indeed the only thing to do in my mind.

"If I learn another way I will tell you of it."

So her suspicions were correct, this girl is basically a blank slate, she has no feelings, there for there is nothing she is afraid of, from all everything she must feel. If i was in her shoes, i would be insane by now, thankfully i can control it, to a degree anyway. She can't hold when it comes, or tell it to stop when it isn't needed...

"I wish I can do something like that, i can't though, how are you able to do this? Maybe i can take something from it and not be...emotionless..."

"Well...."

I actually offered a smile to the girl; Oh I had emotions I just suppressed them to a level that most people couldn't.

"Intense mental training and meditation it's really tough to do. but, It helps with my family's line of study, We all study sexual science, kinda an odd field, especially for field study, kind of makes us look like perverts."

I explained returning to the blank expression though my voice was no longer monotone.

"You know I can't gauge you completely, I'm guessing your sixth sense thing is hindering it."

"Ya...it is...it is both a curse and a gift, i see it more of a curse though. Problem is i can't completely control it, it happens when ever, and if i can't figure it out it won't stop, on top of that, i can't tell it TO stop. It keeps on ringing in my head, gives me a headache...then on top of that there is the side effects, something not physical like you can see from my hair."

Yes the big problem was the Flash Images, something that just happens completely random, wages from intense to slight headache, most of the time though it just makes her weaker, and at times when she is fighting it isn't a good thing.

"i don't know what to call it, i call it Flash Images, as it is pretty much flash images, apparently from when i was gone the second time on the campus. the images cripple me while i am trying to subdue it...very...very random."

Dawn sighed and shook her head, it would happen too randomly, sometime kills the mood when she's having fun with Kim.

I smiled still as I continued.

"A student named Vanessa Truesdale could help you with that I'm sure, perhaps you should seek her out, she had an ability I can't quite document. I met her in a dream... I myself have lucid dreams so something I can't control is impossible... anyway yeah Meditation might help too. either way or both, it'll help."

Meditation huh? She thought about doing this awhile back but never did it. She also heard of the girl Vanessa before, seeing her in Sondra's Room several times, would have never thought she knew how to stop her problems, then again she never told anyone about this unless it actually happens in front of them. come to think of it, Vanessa WAS there during one of her Flash Memories episodes, so she knows about this. Maybe this girl is right.

"Vanessa...she was there when it happened, i wouldn't have thought she is able to help me. How do you know she can though? It was a dream after all..."

"Oh it was a dream just, not a normal dream, lucid dreamers like me control their dreams perfectly every detail however they wish. when something they can't control appears it's always foriegn to the dreamer. we spoke for quite some time dreamwise at least."

I did hope my explination made sense to her it only half made sense to me in actuality but, it was as best I could.

"hmm that was a little confusing for me but i think i get what you mean. Your saying you are able to control your dreams, and if it happens out of your control you find it to be foreign right? Or am i just confusing myself."

Dawn scratched her head, she never had this type before, i mean sure her flash images comes when she doesn't need it, give her headaches, drive her insane at times. Thankfully most of the time Kim is there for her, and she is able to control it, to a degree, if Kim isn't there, there would be nothing she could have done.
