Background: Asuna's parents were idiots. Her life boiled down to that. Her Japanese mother was far worse then her Irish father, but either way, idiots all around. Asuna had been more attracted to women then men for as long as she could recall, but her mother thought of it as "degrading" and wanted to 'cure' Asuna. Her mother would pay men to molest and rape her, and she went along with it for the most part, orgasms were orgasms, they were just better when women did them.
