Yaeko bit her lip to keep for laughing, crouching down to make sure Violett was alright.

"You ok, Vi-chan? Need help getting up?"

She pushed the desk away, so Vi wouldn't hit her head getting up, having some experience with such things, as she was a bit of a klutz herself.

Violett shook her head, blushing in embarassment as she rose to her hands and knees.

"I'm fine, Maita-san... It happens all the time..."

Smiling playfully, she noticed that Yae-chan was crouched nearby. Rather than rise to her feet, Violett quickly crawled forward, grabbing Yaeko in a hug again as she playfully pounced on her new friend.

"Everyone's gone, Yae-chan..." she giggled playfully.

"Gwah! Playful, aren't you?"

Yaeko gave Vi a bemused grin, trying not to fall over from the pouncing. Arching an eyebrow, she set out to discover if Violett was ticklish, ruthlessly poking her under her arms and along her sides.

"You'd think they had something to do....not that I've seen much worth doing around here. Not to mention some of the buildings give me a weird feeling...."

Violett yelped pretty much the instant the tickling began, squirming and giggling as she rolled on the floor.

"Gah! Yae-chan! Cut it out! Please!"

"Heh...thats what you get for tackling me!"

Yaeko continued the tickle torture for another moment, then relented, leaning back on her hands.

Violett squirmed and wiggled, flopping on the floor, flushed and out of breath, when Yaeko finally stopped.


"I... I'm sorry... Yae-chan... I wanted to... I wanted you to remember meeting me..."

"You don't have to worry about that Vi-chan. Erm....you're kind of...the first person I've really talked to. So, hey got that going for you, as well as being the first person to tackle-hug me here."

Yaeko playfully nudged Violett again, waiting for her to regain her breath.

Violett gasped for breath, blushing softly as she rose to her hands and knees again.

"Maita-san... have.. have you ever been kissed before?"

Yaeko blinked a few times, caught off guard by the question. She responded slowly, brow furrowing.

"Yes...and I figure you don't mean like kissing a family member, right?"

Tilting her head back the other way, she blew a strand of hair from her face, grinning at the trailing end of the yellow ribbon in her hair.

Violett nodded,leaning forward so that their lips were almost touching, but not quite.

"First kiss is a big thing, right? I... don't want to do anything wrong, Yae-chan... But... I don't know many other ways to be friendly... and... well... Everyone kisses here. We're all very close... In a lot of ways, we have to be."

Leaning in that last little bit, she pressed her lips to Yae-chan's gently.

She was quite obviously startled, and instinctively kissed Violett back softly before pulling away. She looked terribly confused and held up one finger between them, a barrier to prevent another kiss for the moment.

"Wait...what? Everyone kisses here? All the girls?"

She didn't sound too offended, just surprised, curious, and skeptical.

Violett nodded, blushing softly.

"Well... Not everyone kisses everyone... but... um.. I don't think there's any girls here who don't like other girls... I... I like guys too... I don't think I'm the onlyone... but... well..."

She paused a minute, trying to figure out how to phrase this.

"... The men here are real monsters..."

Yaeko fiddled with her hair ribbon while Violett spoke, stopping at the end.

"I guess I can understand your point, what with this being an all girl school...but the male teachers are monsters? Like, peeping toms, skirt chasers, that sort of thing?"

She smirked, having had some experience with that sort of thing in high school.

Violett shook her head, pressing in closer and trembling softly.

"Nothing like that... That's.. That kind of thing would be a nice change of pace actually."

Wrapping her arms around Yaeko again, she started crying softly.

"I... I wanted my first time to be special.. But... it was a nightmare...."

Startled by the sudden tears, Yaeko hugged Violett gently, patting her back.

"Wait...what? Did something happen to you?"

She had a niggling sensation that she was missing something, something important. Like having a name on the tip of your tongue, only in her head.
