Violett smiled bashfully, squeezing Darwin's hand gently as their eyes met.

"Well... um... I imagine if we can find a movie theater on this island, we can pretty much find anything, right? Otherwise, we can dig up a DVD and one of us can cook something... Or we could get something from the cafeteria..."

"Then lets get to work we have a date to ready up!"

she winked to violett taking the girls hand practically ready to lift her onto her shoulders.

Clutching Darwin's hand tightly, Violett turned to the door with a bashful smile.

"Any preferences on movies, Darwin?"

she shook her head softly.

"No pick anything same with the food dear."

Violett stopped in her tracks, blinking.

"Um... Darwin... I... um... I really have no idea what you like, and I kinda hadn't thought this out much..."

She smiled sheepishly, letting out a nervous giggle.

"So, um... any ideas would be great... Please?"

she offered shifting her weight and taking a step.

Violett stopped, blinkingsoftly. She had failed to take her own pickiness into account, and besides that, she didn't really know how to cook very well.

But this was for Darwin. She had to make sure he... she! She, damn it, SHE! She got the best dinner of her life.

"Umm... Sure... I don't think the cafeteria does potatoes other than french fries... But I can make dinner for two if you'd like."

Violett forced a smile, crossing her fingers behind her back.

"That sounds fantastic dear."

she smiled simply nodding to her friend

Darwin sure seemed to be looking forward to this...

This was going to be a total disaster.

Holding Darwin's hand, Violett led Darwin in what she hoped was the general direction of the kitchen, trying not to let Darwin see her ace so she wouldn't notice the way Violett's eye was twitching.

"So, um... How do you feel about The Princess Bride? It's one of my favorite movies... I think it's one of everyone's favorites, actually..."
