Race: Again, blows and whistles. In Common, "Sylphs".

Racial Traits: Sylphs have no bone structure, and can, as explained below, alter their form. Essentially, they are conscious gatherings of tissue and air, held together by a membrane they can control, allowing them to become more or less dense, and change their basic shape for a situation. However, they must retain their original shape most of the time, to reduce stresses on the membrane. This can also be remarkably painful, and in the case of altered density, dangerous. Since they are made of air, they do not require breathing to survive, however they cannot control their shape or density if not in an nitrogen-oxygen-rich environment. In comparison to humans, the gestation period (90 days) and maturation period (5 years) are rather short, but their lifespan (several hundred years) can be extraordinarily long. They are exclusively female, and can sexually reproduce with other females, through a complicated process involving genetic extraction from vaginal secretions and exchange of gasses (which is as simple as being breathed on), and they induce their own ovulation consciously. In theory, they are able to reproduce with any species' female or male sexes, but most commonly female. Their nipples, which are a darker shade than their skin color, are comparably sensitive to humankind, but their vaginae and anuses are far more sensitive than their human counterparts. Also, by their nature, they can rearrange internal organs to protect life, or, more often, accommodate sexual partners. Their desire to mate is fairly low, but they are almost all addicted to casual sex.

History on Record: Chloe was so named by a human girl, being transported from a slave farm called "Shokushu" to an auction. She had befriended the girl, while tending to her duties as a crewman on a mercenary ship which had a name that loosely translated to "Lightning Bug Tranquility". As she got to know the young slab of meat, Chloe Gale, who until then had to try to teach people a complex series of whistles, tones, and just regular puffs of air to communicate her name, began to realize that a basic assumption she had about humanity was wrong.
In fairness, the desire for a Sylph to mate is high. While reproduction is a complicated system for a Sylph, they are highly sensitive to stimuli, and so are almost addicted to pleasure. This being the case, the Sylphs that once studied Humanity (and thus gaining their name in a commonly pronounceable language) were more interested in their lustful prowess than cognitive faculties. So, Chloe could be forgiven for thinking of the human race as apes. Well, they were apes, honestly, but they weren't THAT bad. Actually, they were capable of reason, and more importantly to Chloe, of emotion. The girl she met was afraid.
So, in a desperate act, Chloe abandoned ship with the girl near a port planet, giving up her livelihood for a human girl she had grown to know and even love.
Weeks, months passed and Chloe and the girl were inseparable. They hid from Chloe's former crew and any number of other mercenaries by chartering flights on ships all across the 'verse. Chloe's skill with piloting and commerce made her an excellent addition to any crew, so travel was easy. Escape was hard. After a few stints on various ships with various missions, Chloe had the misfortune to take a carrier job.
She had to deliver a package to the slaver who had ordered the girl Chloe had rescued. Recognizing the Sylph, the Slaver demanded answers. To defend the human she loved, Chloe entered into an agreement. Every so often, Chloe would offer her body to the slave pits of the Slaver's choice, while remaining free between incidences. So long as she kept to these terms, the human girl wouldn't be harmed. However, to ensure Chloe's obedience, the girl was to be separated from Chloe and monitored until the Slaver was satisfied.
In the three Terran years since, Chloe has piloted several ships out of Shokushu, delivering dozens of perspective slaves to freedom to atone for the one she personally put at risk. And one day, she hopes to reunite with that human girl, and see what a hybrid would look like.

Place of Birth: Again... blows and whistles. Unimaginatively named "Slyphan Prime" in Common, home colony named "ver Isca" in Common.

Physical Appearance: Chloe is small and slender, like many of her race, and typically green, like most from her colony. She has, like most Sylphs, fashioned hair for herself atop her head, which is an extension of her body kept at a softer and finer texture to simulate the feel of real hair. Depending on her mood and/or desire, she can alter the color of the gasses within her, becoming either another color or transparent. It is also, not a stretch, to label her beautiful, as most Sylphs are.

Clothing: Chloe, when in a casual situation, will wear simply a vest of some color, and the goggles that are ever-present atop her head. Sylphs lack modesty in the physical sense. However, in public, she tends to dress in standard clothes, or even business attire, always more suiting of a male, and always with the goggles.
Equipment: Varies based on job and situation. Always, goggles.
Hair Color: No real "hair," but a facsimile. Generally pale green.
Eye Color: Green, swirl pattern in iris.
Skin: Pale green. Very soft to the touch, almost like a comfortable pillow.
Pubic Hair: None, but skin gets lighter in hue around her vagina.

Psychological Profile: She is seriously emotionally damaged by the loss of her human girl. So many bad choices can be linked back to her high capacity for either love or guilt that it would make her seem nearly one-dimensional were it not for the fact that she is also easily distracted, both by her friends in the ADD and by random other females in the cosmos. She also prides herself on her sexual prowess. She is deathly afraid of being alone for a long period of time, and of being restrained. The latter of which will, ironically, evolve into a paralyzing fear before stripping her of her rational mind, and leaving her to act on instinct alone, which for a Sylph, involves lust.

Personality: Modest around people she doesn't know, Chloe will deny any compliment given her at least one time. She is also remarkably happy most of the time, an enigma considering her present circumstances. She will drift off into contemplation of those circumstances often however.
Likes: Saving humans, anything sexual, flying (either literally or in a ship).
Dislikes: Being taken advantage of, seeing others getting hurt.
