Background: The albinnja are an odd race. Since they finished exploring their own icy planet of Valhalla, they have shown no interest at all in going out into space. This changed, however, when a scouting mission from an unknown alien race crashed into the mountains surrounding a Valhallan city.
Recovered from the crashed vehicle were a number of precious stones that no living Albinnja had ever seen before, along with a number of pieces of highly advanced equipment. The Albinnja (A very proud race) did not like the idea that they were technologically inferior to anything else in the universe, and sought to do something about it.
After a few successful atmosphere-leaving missions, the fair race of the Albinnja sent Ylf, a diplomat into deep space. She was given two specific missions:
1. Gain allies out in the galaxy, so that the Albinnja people might learn their technology and aquire their precious items.
2. To prove the obvious superiority of her people by NOT crashing her ship into the planet of another species.
And so, Ylf travelled deep into space, in search of other intelligent races...

Equipment: The clothing on her back, an intricately designed dagger and thermal-pistol, a small fortune in precious stones and jewellery.
Fighting style: Ylf is much more of a diplomat than a fighter. If pressed she will find someplace safe to hide and occasionally make a haphazard shot with her pistol.
Special Attributes: Resistance to the cold, extreme agility, Magical affinity (Not yet tapped into), excellent jewel-smith.
Behavior: Ylf is eager to learn about the outside galaxy, as her people have been an isolated race for an extended period of time, giving them no knowledge of the other species out there. This ignorance can lead Ylf into a lot of trouble however...
Weaknesses: Physically weak, naive.

an interesting, and somewhat hilarious idea. I especially liked the part about not crashing into a planet to prove the superiority of the race, and that they sent someone naive, without either magical or special combat skillz. Very anime.
