Violett crept out of the bathroom, wiping her face with a washcloth, whimpering softly as she lurched towards her fallen hero.

Without a word, she wrapped her arms around Hiruka, holding her tight, trembling a little but trying to be strong.

Hiruka sobbed, low cries torn from the depths of her soul, old wounds torn open. After her eyes ran dry, she still remained where she was, face pressed into the bloody uniform, though she leaned heavily into Violett, shaking like a newborn kitten. A minute or so more, and she raised her head, face puffy and red from crying, before she wiped the drying tears from her face with her sleeve, taking a few deep breaths to pull herself back together.

I'm sorry....you had to see that Violett-san...and....thank you.

She didn't try to pull away yet, not confident of her ability to stand so soon. Sighing, she laid her head on Violett's shoulder, needing human contact badly at the moment.

Violett gently stroked Hiruka's hair, holding her close and doing her best to soothe her, her entire body trembling, especially her hands... She was so scared too, but she hoped Hiruka wouldn't notice.

"It's okay, Hiruka... It's okay... You're safe now... It's okay..."
