She chuckled at the suggestion of wanting her own fan club, remembering something Linda had said to her before she had come here: "If you manage to convert half the campus into your personal harem, let me know. You'll need some help keeping them all satisfied." Even as she recalled this, the nagging voice in her mind said that it was somehow related to what was bothering her about his earlier explanation. However, the answer remained just out of reach.

She nodded at his offer of tutoring. "I'll keep that in mind. At the moment, though, I'm doing okay in my classes. They're still low-level courses, and mostly subjects I'm interested in."

"Well then, it's for the future, but I reccomend asking for my help a month before mid terms and finals if you feel you need it. THose are my busiest times as expected. So do you have an intreast in my botany at all. THe green house over by the gym fields in mine and where I ran my experiments. It's also where I spend most of my time instead of that office they give me.

I hardle ever check it... sigh... so much paper work has been accumualted there..." I tell her with a sigh. Hmmm, I could sense her guard was still up. Pouncing a prey on guard was possible, but they would most likely get away in that case. I'll play the gentlemen a bit more I though.

Botany wasn't really an area she'd given much consideration to. Still, she wasn't bad in science, and this might be an easy way to see she should give it some consideration.

"Might be interesting. When would be a good time?"

"Anytime after classes get out, although I might be out checking out on an experiment on the Island at the time, but I usually do that in the early morning or during classes when I don't have to do anything. So feel free to stop by anytime." I tell her.

"Okay then. I'll probably stop by Wednesday, then. My last class puts me near there anyway." She tried to banish her misgivings. If he was trying anything beyond the obvious, he was being pretty incompetent about it. Not only had he given her an easy escape route, he'd also told her when she could most likely avoid him at the greenhouse if she wanted to. Still, there was that nagging hint of something wrong in the back of her mind...

By the time Wednesday rolled around, the feeling had reduced itself to a vague doubt. In the meantime, she'd managed to convince two separate members of Keemari's fan club that she wasn't any competition for them.

After her last class, she headed to the greenhouse he'd mentioned. Finding the door unlocked, she went in. She considered calling out, but decided to look for him instead so she wouldn't distract him if he was at work on something that needed his concentration.

As you started to walk around the green house looking around your fighting senses kick in as you notice several people behind you as you see the leader of Keemari's fan club. Miyuki with several of her other followers are behind you staring at you as you see the two girls you convinced in the group.

"And to think that members Melissa and Sarah here, almost convinced me that your not a threat to Keemari, that you have no intreast in him and yet here you are sneaking around his greenhouse looking for something of his no doubt to hold to yourself." She said with a huff.

This was not good. She'd said she could probably convince them that she wasn't competition, but she hadn't expected to have to do so in a situation where the explanation was likely to look like a weak lie. If she had to, she was sure she could win a fight against any of them. All of them at once, however, was a different matter; she couldn't possibly keep track of all of them at once, and they could either sneak some attackers behind her or just overwhelm her with sheer weight of numbers. Besides, a fight in here was likely to break something or ruin an experiment. That fact could be used to her advantage if it became necessary.

Hopefully, it wouldn't come to that. "I don't have interest in him... not the way you do. And I'm here because he invited me." She resisted adding, which is more than I can say for you. She wasn't going to go out of her way to antagonize them.

"Oh, so your just a hussy who likes playing with a guys heart then. Your just stringing him along. Maybe it's because you need better grades or something. We won't let you take advatange of Mr. Sulivan like that. Now leave." Miyuki tells you as she stares you down or tries too. Your experince in fighting had seen alot worse.

"I am not 'stringing him along.' He knows that I'm not interested in guys that way." And would it be too vain of me to think that I'd be way ahead of all of you if I was? Actually... Yeah, it would be. The ringleader wouldn't look too bad if she wasn't always scowling at the competition, that one in the back could use a bit of exercise and some sun, the one over there on the left just needs to be less sloppy with her clothes and hair, and that one there... What the hell am I thinking?

Well, that was weird. While she did sometimes let her mind wander and check out classmates, even ones she knew wouldn't be interested, that was when she was bored, not while trying to avoid a fight. She wanted to shake her head in an attempt to clear it, but didn't. Anything that made her look weak would make it harder to stop this before it got too far.

She kept her gaze locked with the ringleader's, meeting her opponent's anger with cool confidence, her attitude saying 'you sure you want to try to make me leave?'

The ringleader then smirks at you as if to say yeah bitch. I want to try as she moves towards you. "So you really have no intreast a guy do you, well then you'll have to prove that to us." She tells you with a particular nasty tone to her voice as you see her eyes look you up and down quite a bit, checking you out.

"You're assuming I have bad enough taste to be interested in any of you guys, either." They'll probably miss the significance of the word choice there; they don't seem like the sharpest knives in the drawer. Probably daughters of alumnae or something.

Susan shifted her stance slightly, making it easier for her to counter if any of the group attacked her. "If you insist on fighting, we should take this outside. Unless you want to see if you'd have any chance with him after one of his experiments got destroyed by accident." They should at least be smart enough to figure the odds of that out. And it's not like there's much in the way of alternatives to him for them.

The leader smirks at that. "Well perhaps that is a good idea, after all we wouldn't want to ruin any of Mr. Sulivan's experiments. But you forget who your dealing with. Were his fan club and we know a great deal about him and his work." She tells you with a smirk as someone then throws a potted plant at your feet as the plant itself springs to life digging into the ground as the vines it has grow out rapidly as the girls take cover as it grabs at everything around it, to ensnare it, you being the closest target.

She'd expected that at least one of them would throw something at her at some point; it was a common tactic of this type. Deliberately destroying one of their idol's plants was a surprise, and what the plant did when its pot broke...

What the fuck...? The vines caught her completely by surprise for a moment before instinct took over. A quick dive forwards took her out of the instant jungle and near the leader's hiding place. As she grabbed the girl, she felt something take hold of her ankle. After a brief, unsuccessful attempt to pull free, she dragged the other girl into the open. "Get out here, you!" If I can't get away from this attack salad, I'll make sure at least one of this group stays here, too.

THe leader smiles as she reverses the hold you have on her and forces you back. Although it was clearly amertusih compared to your style, that wasn't the point. The leader knew all she had to do was keep out of your grip so that the plant could continue to ensnare you as she attempted just that and she knew she had the element of suprise in this matter against you as she attempts to jump back once the hold is broken.

Stupid. Don't get cocky just because they're untrained. Her opponent shouldn't have been able to get loose so easily, but she hadn't bothered getting a firm hold. Not a mistake she'd make twice.

Fortunately, the vine still had enough slack to let her reach the leader. A quick punch to the gut knocked the wind out of her opponent, and Susan quickly followed this by grabbing the ringleader in a bear hug. There was no way she'd get out of this hold unless she knew some martial arts herself or her gang came to her aid. Fat chance that'll happen. They're not likely to be loyal enough to risk the vines getting them.
