Emily laughed weakly.

"I think I understand. I had a friend back home who, well, didn't think sleep was much of an excuse for... well... you know..."

Her blush wasn't visible to Vanessa, but the tone in her voice gave it away. Emily was a shy, sweet girl. It wasn't her fault that she had pervy friends, or that it was easy for them to seduce her. When she had to talk about it, however, it did still embarrass her.
