"You make it sound as if I'm intentionally making the conversation difficult. But I assumed you wouldn't understand how difficult it is when you’re hit in the temple..." she replies, still with no emotion behind it. The woman was getting aggravated quickly over something so simple, but it wasn't her business to ask if she had something else after this.

She wasn't trying to be rude for once, but if it continued to spiral in it being her fault for being difficult, then perhaps the woman should understand that she was attempting to be... friendly. Was it such a big deal that it was hard for her to gather her thoughts? Kanoe could be annoyed all she wanted to be, it wouldn't speed the process up any faster.

"I was apologizing for not making the conversation easier until you became troubled with it. I appreciate that you register what I do for school activities. I don't have many questions for this school. But I would like to know what sort of activities you do since you know mine now."

She was a bit amused that now she was asking the questions in the conversation, but leaves it at that. It'd be best to drop it before either of them become too aggravated to stand each other's company. Kanoe was an interesting person to speak with. She gave a little hope that the woman would let this difficult 'dilemma' go.

"Perhaps you are. But if you are blaming a past injury on it, my apologies," she said calmly.

It was only slightly annoying but that had long past. She was still enjoying their little conversation. This one was not bad to look at either. Kanoe lightly flicks her necklace as Taisie becomes slightly annoyed by her annoyance. It was amusing and she doubts this cold toned woman would admit it to being true.

"Take all the time you need," she said simply, "As for my own activities, I tend to continue my studies about chemistry as well as ancient history and the occult. People generally are not fond of some of my...methods. But, I chose my own path not what others pick for me. I spend most of my time studying so I suppose that makes me a little dull to outsiders. What about you? What do you like to do?"

She tried her best to say what she does without saying it. It was still a bit vague but she really needed to trust this woman in order to bring her closer. This was difficult, no wonder Claire teases her for this. Kanoe could only hope she was not pushing this woman away.

"It’s fine, I'm not angry with you over something so trivial," she puts in a softer tone before continuing, nodding her slightly about her activities, "Mm... well that's fine about your methods. You don't need to tell me everything if you don't want to."

That was her excuse when someone would ask what she did to pass the time by. Practicing the art of being a true shin obi was one thing, but possibly telling this woman of what else she did may prove to only strengthen her nature of solitude from others.

She turns her head to the woman, holding it up with her hand as her elbow rests on the table. The woman was odd to say she dull when she couldn't really agree. Either she had something other then the activities she spoke of or she had some low self esteem to say that about herself. Her eyes seem to soften as they grow wider instead of that half-lit look like she was going to fall asleep at any moment.

"I can't say I agree with you on being dull. You just described what I do most of the time. Learning about my homeland’s past to understanding how their roles were played back then."

It was about as close of a compliment she could get at. It had been awhile that she actually paid such a compliment rather then scoffing at someone's need for an education. She didn't understand how Kanoe was getting under her skin so much more then anyone else. And she hardly knew anything about her. She bows her head slightly to looking at the table before speaking up once more.

"I have my own... methods as you phrased it. It was probably the reason my... family shipped me off here."

"It is much the same for myself as well," she says, "My parents had no choice but to pay notice after some of my more volatile attempts at the occult. So now I am here. This place is rather...difficult but I have learned much more here than I did in the past several years."

It was risky to push further but she found herself able to relate to this woman. Being sent away, that was the story for a number of students here but this one she found to be different. She could not put her finger on it. This attitude and aura about the woman was similar to her own. They were both holding something back, a secret.

She opens a hand, holding it out on the table. The spidery words of magic whisper from her lips as wisps of shadow gently flow and swirl around her fingers and gather in the palm of her hand. The witch closes her hand into a fist causing the wisps to disperse into nothing. A sigh leaves her lips.

"Being different tends to push one away from others," she smiles faintly, "But I found others with similar abilities on this island...as well as many dangers."

Well it is all of nothing now. Will she be seen as crazy? Will this woman not care? This was going to get nowhere if both kept their guards up. Meeting others and forming relationships all involve risks, risks she will have to keep taking in order to survive here.

Through the past several days involving her parents growing too angry to deal with her, flown off on a plane to this island, encountering many juvenile girls and meeting Kanoe, none really seemed to register in her mind as fully as what was being displayed on the table before her eyes. They widen just as such as wisps of dark energy form within the woman's palm as she speaks an old dialect of magic. She had become much more interesting right now.

Her eyes slowly fade back and nods slowly, watching as the hand clasps over the dark energy that built within it, vanishing into nothing but a small line of smoke which too disappeared. Kanoe had much more to learn in taking 'risks' with others. To show something to an almost complete stranger was reckless. Had she not been so entitled to the art she would probably assume the worse in devilish acts. IF... she was such a person to see it.

"Sometimes... showing things like that to strangers is a very bad thing to do, Kanoe. If I were so cold, I would automatically tell a teacher to send you to the office to be punished for practicing witchcraft..."

Slowly her hand follows as Kanoe does; settling gently on it's back to the table. Her words were that of an old Japanese dialect that had long thought o have been forgotten. The back of her neck glows an immense light blue before fading, only to have such a glowing sight form in the palm of her hand. Crystals of ice form, shaping itself into a very small tower in design while she looks at it herself and sighs as she closes her hand into a fist, the ice escapes between the crevices in a smoke of sparkling dust. As she opens it, nothing was there, absent of even water that should have melted upon contact with her skin.

"Unfortunately for me, I would have to turn myself in as well if I was such a person. You need not worry yourself, Kanoe. You're with a fellow magic user."

She was sure the woman had taken a giant leap in order to make friends with her, she wasn't such an evil bitch as to not return the favor for showing her such a secret. The woman was brave to put it out like that, and she could've very well not shown Kanoe her own magic and just accept it. She was taking a risky leap that Kanoe wasn't the hypocrite to turn her in and make herself innocent. It was a pretty good judge of character right now, depending on the woman's reaction to it, would let her know fully of what kind of person she was.

The witch's eyes widen only slightly at the sight. She has seen a handful off students in the school able to do similar things. But, this woman was more important than that. This one was athletic and a magic user. Kanoe smiles faintly, she was not about to let this one go.

"You go up to another stranger and say that someone is practicing witchcraft it is doubtful that one will believe you in this day and age," she replies cooly, "Besides, this school already knows of my ability or at least the most dangerous of their staff."

The risk paid off for both of them. She could not speak safely and fully. She doubts she will take that same risk anytime soon. There was so much to speak of. Magic users tend to be targets for the monsters on the island. Hopefully the woman is not a virgin.

"Now that I know who I am dealing with," she began, "There is much I can tell you. Whether you believe my words or not is up to you. This school...this island is not normal. There are...creatures that abduct women and..."

Despite sharing their secrets it was still very difficult to mention what these monsters do to them. She herself suffered countless attacks from the monsters and demons that seem to find her everywhere.

"They will take you," she says with a faint blush to her cheeks, "I'm just warning you, even with your abilities you will not be able to fight them off alone. Or...you may be one of the lucky ones and never be attacked. But, I think they are attracted to mana users."

"You'd be surprised with saying something like that. Or maybe it was just my school who seemed open minded to it... somewhat."

Upon seeing Kanoe's attention turn to worry, she quirks a brow to her and listens to what she says. She blinks confusedly at what was spoken of, but then again, she had never met another magic user outside of this school either. If she met someone in less then a day with the same gift, perhaps what she isn't all false. But still... it was hard to swallow.

"Mmm... I see. I don't doubt per say... that there aren't other beings around, but I'm sure you'll understand I can't just take your word for it and leave it at that."

Any normal person would say something along those lines, or be even less open minded to the possibilities. It was her first day so she never did have the chance to experience the full 'education' of Shokushu. It was amusing, though, that it fit well with how their uniforms were. Making them so tight and alluring to these creatures that they couldn't resist snatching them up as Kanoe says. She was afraid she would have to see such things for herself then just take it like she understood fully and would avoid being in solitude at all costs. It was an odd thought to think of. Especially given her... 'condition'.

"It's an odd thing to say, but if what you say is true then... I guess I'm trouble."

She spoke of what she meant without actually saying it. She was a virgin. It wasn't that she wasn't totally unfamiliar with it, but she kept her chastity for a few good reasons, number one was not feeling like a slut. Either Kanoe was covering up her own sexual activity or she may be speaking some truth. But it was hard to say given she never seen another creature that had intelligence other then a human being.

She tucks another strand of hair behind her other ear and looks forward in deep thought. She wanted to trust the woman, but it was an outrageous story for a new student to hear. It was safe to say that something was wrong at this school if there were such sexual acts going about and the school either didn't know, or didn't care. She breathes in and exhales deeply. Pity she had to know something was going on here so soon. Ignorance was bliss to a point, but she supposes she should thank Kanoe instead of getting caught in a situation with anyone or anything.

"Of course I understand your side, I found out without anyone really telling me," she smiles faintly once more, "At least now when it does happen, you cannot say I did not warn you. Though warning you may not be enough to protect you."

Perhaps it was a bit gloomy being a doomsayer and such but it was the truth. With a spell user, it was not if but when this woman will be taken. This island and school does things to people. The constant rapes and part of the student body being nymphs takes a toll on the mind and body till finally a student just keeps quiet and submits. Already her body was already much more sexually active because of her dark magic and this school. She found this woman attractive physically. Perhaps Claire will like this one as well.

"I.. My apologies," she says finally, "I know this is a bit much. And I seem to have ruined the mood entirely. Is there is anything you like to do? I am not sure if I wish to continue going to classes today. Too many bad memories I suppose.."

She looks away as she leans back in her chair. Her arms cross infront of her chest as she lets out a drawn out sigh.

"It’s alright. If it’s fact, then I can't really blame you for trying to warn me. And I appreciate it. But it’s as you said. It probably won't be enough to protect from them wherever they may be. Plus me being... inactive, "she pauses, shaking a blush from her cheeks before continuing, "-this is probably not the very best conversation I could have with someone..."

The subject certainly had fallen short of being anything but nice. Monsters, rapes, and heaven knows what else. Seems for the first time she may be getting into trouble then making it. She exhales through her nose, but somehow keeps her cool, her tone still emotionless after all they had talked of. She clears her throat finally before turning her head back to the woman.

"The rest of my classes don't seem very important today," she replies, not wanting to go back to classes either. She skipped classes before, it was no big deal. Well, her other schools didn't have rapes and such going on within the walls. What in the world has she gotten herself into this time? She quirks a brow to the woman and nods to her.

"I haven't much seen this school. I doubt you wish to walk around it now so... anything's fine by me."

She blushes, knowing this was her fault. Kanoe was just not good at this. The witch had the same troubles even with speaking to Claire at times. She wanted this woman to be on her side but there was no way to do that now. As cruel as it sounds, she will have more attention after this one's first encounter with a monster.

"I will just leave the subject with if you need help, do not hesitate to see me," she says giving the woman her room number as well, "Now, I do not mind walking around the school with you. There is not much to tour, it is not much different from any other college cept for NICE labs off in the distance."

She rises to her feet, stretching out slightly which only caused her breasts to swell against her tight blouse further. Kanoe smiles as she walks around to the other side of the table. Inexperienced? What a pity that this one will experience her first time with a monster. She doubts she could provide such comfort until after it happens.

"Well this is library obviously," she says softly, "Any particular place you wish to see. Or shall we find something to pass the time and clear our heads?"

There really was no blame to be had. She wasn't angry or disgusted with what was said. It’s not as if she never heard conversations like this before with someone else and their friends. This was no different. It was just... awkward of course. She still hardly knew the woman much and she already confided quite a bit of herself into her. But so did she do the same with her. If there were more students like Kanoe, maybe it wouldn't be such a bad college to attend.

Rising to her feet also, she watches Kanoe walk around the table with a smile. She wondered what there was to be smiling about, but doesn't bother asking in any case. She stretches herself out only slightly to avoid having her uniform rip beneath her. This still was a ridiculous set of clothes. She may just suggest that they go her room so she could change and not have to worry about buttons coming off.

"NICE labs... certainly doesn't give the name justice judging by how you looked when you said it," she spoke in a harder tone then before. She wasn't aggravated, but was very serious about it. She didn't even want to know what went on there...

"Well, if it’s alright with you, I need to just... get out of these clothes. Stopping by my room would be nice if you don't mind."

"Oh of course, I despise the uniforms as well," she replies, "I will go get changed as well then."

She walks with Taisie out of the library and down the halls. The hourly bell range as doors open and students flood out, heading to their next classes. The witch weaves in and out of the crowds as they edge their way to the doors leading outside and to freedom, limited as it is. Kanoe left the issue about NICE labs for another time. She was still recovering from her encounter with those lab coats.

The witch brushes hair away from her face as she regains her composure and continues leading Taisie down the path. The weather was odd on the island, it was almost always warm with the exception of a few days in winter or occasional storms. The path to the dorms was flanked by trees bordering dense woods and had canopies of trees overhead providing shade. The walks alone here were sometimes the best parts about this island and the most dangerous.

The two step inside the dorms. Kanoe turns and faces Taisie giving a slight bow followed by brushing strands of hair back behind her shoulders.

"Well where shall we meet after we change?" she asks, "What do you want to do? I should say."

She walks beside the woman as they leave the library. Both fell silent as they make their way to their dorms. As the hourly bell sounds, she already heads to the outer part of the halls to avoid the oncoming slew of students, heading to their next class. Kanoe's weaving was impressive for someone not completely athletic, but she could of just avoided the mass entirely. Since the NICE labs subject was dropped she left it at that. Must not be something she wished to speak of.

She blinks once to adjust her vision to the sun's rays as they step out to the dorms. This path was one she was most familiar with and is a bit happy she knew where they were going somewhat. The walks were very beautiful, trees shade while they walk. The back of Kanoe was very much attractive from this point, but she dares not let herself look down any further then her mid-back. Such thoughts were easily suppressed when one had little experience with them.

They step inside the ground level of the dorms, Kanoe bows and she does also in respect. Flicking her hair back behind her shoulders, as well, she ponders on where they should meet that there weren't many people around. She wasn't sure of the idea when it came to mind, but maybe Kanoe would be compliant. The place could always change if they didn't like it.

"The training facility may be a location. We don't have to go there, but every time I pass it’s usually very vacant. Either that or the beach may be suitable. Anything sound interesting?"

Of course the weight-lifting room may not be Kanoe's exact ideals for talking, but she was a very antsy person sometimes. Most athletes have extra energy they needed to spend or else it would come to flying off the walls in a hyper state. Despite her calm, collected self right now, she had her moments she couldn't control her energy and takes it out on a pillow or other object that was easy to hit. She suggested the beach because at least they would be walking. And it would also give her something to keep her mind off of being so edgy.

Though working out was not something she was particularly fond of, it was probably easier to focus on than watching this well endowed woman in a bikini. This would be a good time to learn some basic close combat. May not be enough for a monster but it could help in the future against minor opponents who are too close for comfort.

"Well if I won't slow you down, I will join you at the gym," she answers, "I'll meet you down here after I change into something easier to move in."

She was not sure what she could wear. The witch did not have much of a variety of outfits and her robes did not allow free movement. Kanoe gives a nod before heading to her room. She takes off the tight fitting uniform and considers what to wear. She slips on a tight fitting sports bra and some long black sweats. Kanoe looks herself over. Her legs were covered but the sports bra kept her breasts pushed up giving a nice view of her cleavage. She could thank the school for such revealing attire. The rest of her pale smooth skin was visible, glowing faintly in the sun's light. Well it was better than robes at least.

The witch heads back down stairs to wait for Taisie. She hopes this outfit will work for whatever they will be doing.

Though she had no contact with any sort of... 'Monster' on this island, if the woman wished to learn how to be somewhat of a physical opponent, then who was she to stand in her way? It was interesting how compliant she was to going to the gym when she was less then interested in watching the little game of dodge ball. She didn't seem like that much of a workout person, but she could teach Kanoe a few basic things at least.

"You won't slow me down. I'll see you in a few moments," she simply puts, bowing to her in a short good-bye before taking her leave to her dorm.

She had a lonely room with no one in it, but it wasn't exactly her top list of worries. She cared little for human contact unless they decide to make the conversation. Like Kanoe she was about to meet up with again, she wasn't going to get out of her own way to speak to someone else. She already had her attire planned out on her dim, shadowed bed. Her home wasn't necessarily the progressing cities like Tokyo in some places, but this was considered acceptable in the gymnasium she visited.

An Uwagi is a traditional outfit, a kimono-like jacket most familiar as the top half of a martial arts uniform. Hugging tightly to ehr body, it keeps the sound of shifting clothes to a very low volume. The bottom half, the trousers, is called zubon. The third element, the obi belt, ties closed the uwagi and holds up the zubon. Altogether made her look like a shinobi, but she knew that even with the appearance, she didn't think she could possibly pass off for anything but an amateur. To finish her outfit, she puts her feet into a pair of jika-tabi, which was also a traditional outerwear for such training like martial arts. Some parts of her hometown believe they were worn by shinobi and samurai. She ties her hair in high pony-tail to keep it out of the way for now, allowing her tattoo to be freely shown.

Finally, settled with her clothes, she steps out of her room and begins her trek in meeting with Kanoe. She knew her outfit would give someone a double-take to Americans and other countries and was certainly expecting onlookers to wonder why she was wearing them. Simply because they were comfortable, she puts the subject to an end in her mind as her eyes stray to find the woman.

Eyes blink in bewilderment to Kanoe's outfit, but then she wonders if she should question what she's wearing to her own attire. Shaking her thoughts off, she quietly slips herself behind Kanoe, her shoes made for such a soft action, and gives a soft sigh.

"Are you ready, I presume?"
