"I'd rather not, Kanoe. I'd feel like I'd be showing off... and I don't really feel you have to sit here and wait for me to finish when I can do it another time. I can do it later."

She'd rather not show any difficult moves to the woman, slightly fearing she may try it and not know what to do if caught in the air and fall to her head instead of feet. This was probably where she didn't trust Kanoe's judgment and would just keep her moves to herself.

She was already ahead of Kanoe; sure she was probably sore from pulling quite a few attempts on hurling herself over the mats. In a spur of energy, she runs to where Kanoe is, the mats being right in front of wall. With a quick leap she jumps from the wall onto the mat, landing softly beside the woman and flexes her legs somewhat. She was a bit stiff from not practicing like she should be, but it wasn't a bad stunt this time around.

"You look hurt. Are you... alright?" she asks in her monotone voice.

Kanoe watches as Taisie jumps off the wall and lands on the mat she was sitting on. She was not foolish enough to try anything that advance. She was a witch not an acrobat. She smiles faintly, glad that the woman took the time to stay with her. Perhaps she will be able to help this one when Taisie encounters some of the horrors on this island.

"Hmm?" she looks over at Taisie, "I'm just sore is all. I never gone to work out before so the only excerise I have is when I run from them.."

She brushes a few strands of hair from her face as she hands the rest of the bottle water to the woman. The soreness in her muscles make Kanoe look forward to just sitting in a chair and studying, assuming she does not just crash on her bed.

"That's surprising considering how well-fit you look," she comments, but she wasn't at all surprised by it. A skinny woman just meant she actually took the time to watch what she was eating. But if her only exercise were running from these 'monsters' she claims to encounter, teaching her some things may be more difficult then what she had first thought.

She silently thanks the woman and brings the bottle of water to her lips. She wonders if it would be alright to workout in front of the woman without seeming to boast about it. Bragging was a pet peeve, as Americans say, to her. She considers what to do by letting the water run over her hand and dab it on the back of her neck. Her hair was still in a neat ponytail for once, but she wondered how long that would last if she practiced some brutal tricks.

"I'll work out some I suppose, but I hope you understand what not to try on your own terms. I don't mean to be so pushy about it, but I've had to learn, not to copy until I was ready, with injuries."

"Of course," she replies, "I am not a fool. I can barely jump as is it seems."

Kanoe found the little lecture amusing. She was not sure why the woman was so reluctant to work out. That is what Taisie came here for afterall or else the woman would not bother with the training uniform. She did not mind watching. This was a good opportunity to see what this woman was capable of physically. There was no reason to feel jealous of a teacher being better than her student, that would just be stupid.

"Have fun," she says with a slight smirk.

It wasn't at all she thought the woman would be jealous, but she had to make sure she understood so she couldn't be blamed if Kanoe happened to try something. Rolling her eyes to the last comment, she slides down and proceeds to a punching bag. She had been in front of thousands of people before in tournaments, this shouldn't be any different.

She calms herself down by pushing her hands down in a clasped motion, exhaling deeply as she does so. Her exhale suddenly ceases and she starts by punching the same sized bag at an immense speed. Then suddenly her kicks start in, seeming to go higher and higher off the ground until she was jumping up and spinning with kicks. They somehow seem to slow down as she jumps higher, her body actually twisted sideways as she does martial art techniques called 'tricks'. Her legs seem to spin sideways as she continues to pummel the bag with intense hits. Channeling somewhat, her body seems to fly with kicks and spins, a blue aura surrounding her feet and hands as she uses both to overwhelm the target.

She drops down after a very high jump twist and shakes off her slight out of breath by breathing in deeply through her nose and exhaling through her mouth. She loosens her neck up and suddenly starts pummeling the air filled bag with more punches, throwing in a few high kicks before she stops once more. Taking herself to the mats, she throws a few mats on there to make it a good seven feet. She takes herself quite a ways and stands backwards from the tall object, doing her exhale and motion to calm herself. As before it stops suddenly.

She starts off with running and does two cartwheels, and then those suddenly turn into hand-springs which then suddenly turn into back flips. Just as she reaches the mats, she gets enough momentum to launch herself over the mats; she does a backwards split before turning it into a back flip and lands on her hands and feet. That one did take a lot out of her, but after shaking it off once more she was back up again.

Her adrenaline was going at full force at this time, building her muscles with oxygen before she begins to unleash her energy again. She takes off away from the mats and does one, two, three, four front flips before the last one turned into another quick back flip. Her nose flares for air at this point before she runs once again, doing front handsprings at an immense speed. She lost count of how many she was doing after a few seconds and keeps doing it until she felt a twinge in her leg. She ends it with a flip, touching her toes in mid-air and stops to catch her breath.

Deciding to give her legs a rest, she jumps to her hands and stretches herself upwards and walks a few steps on her hands before rolling onto her back. She jumps back to her feet on her back. She was thoroughly sweating from all this and seems to keep going after her practice. She takes off in a sprint to a wall. As one would expect she climbs a wall mat at least six steps before dropping back two back flips and lands unsteadily on her feet. She then starts running beside the wall and few a short second as she jumps off of it she would look like a cat before her hands twist themselves into making her body do a sideways flip to the ground, again landing unsteadily on her feet but she keeps going.

Still not willing to stop and take a breather, she grips a pole that seemed to be a small support for the roof and seems to concentrate deeply on doing... something. It only became apparent as her legs seem to lift from their spot and hold themselves out sideways, making her look like a flag as she keeps an extremely good grip on the pole. Releasing herself from it she falls to her knees, seeming to finally be out of breath. But then she gets down on her hands again and lifts herself with both arms, slowly letting her right arm stretch out beside her as she holds herself up with one arm before she finally stops.

Completely and utterly out of breath, she coughs somewhat and once she reaches the mat she practically collapse and seems to just keep smiling tiredly and punches the air in exhaustion. Her chest heavies up and down at a rapid pace, her heartbeat almost in her throat from pushing her body to its limits. But for her, this was so much fun to defy physics and walk on walls for two seconds before gravity actually notices. She just loved to acrobats, it was really the only thing that made her smile so brightly.

The woman seemed to be having fun. That is good, everyone needed something that allowed them to escape even if it was for only a little bit. She watches Taisie tumble, doing various forms of gymnastics and acrobatics as well as various fighting moves. Kanoe paid close attention to this woman's speed and form, considering how this one will fare in the future.

This one was physically active to say the least. Good for putting up a fight and potentially avoiding the creatures of the island. But if Taisie were to be caught, then they would make use of that stamina in a more lustful and pleasurable way. This new student has a strong will so hopefully they do not break her too soon. She need useful people in order to survive on this island.

As Taisie works on extending outwards from the pole, the dark witch left for a short time. When the woman finally collapsed in exhaustion, Kanoe stands over the woman looking down. She places a fresh bottle of water beside Taisie's head along with a fresh towel.

"Seems you only feel alive when your body is screaming," she says softly, "Glad you are having fun."

"Basically..." she says to the first comment, breathing long and hard, and thanks the woman for the water bottle and the towel. She slowly rises, dabbing her face with the towel and practically chugs the water down until she needed to breath. It felt so good to get rid of that pint up energy. Maybe someday Kanoe would understand just how she feels if she kept up with somewhat of a work out.

"I love having my blood pumping and my energy going. Perhaps I am like one of those over-energetic dogs. If I don't get rid of this energy I start making trouble around the place. That's what happens when... well... your family isn't as it should be."

That was putting it mildly but there was no way she would share her personal information with the woman. Not that she could remember specific details unless she thought long and hard from it. That last concussion really nailed her hard in memories.

She folds the towel over her neck, gently rubbing the place of her tattoo before letting the towel cover it. She sits herself in a weight-lifting machine. Switching the weights to good hundred and ten pounds, she starts forcing her arms together with the padded lifts. Being out of breathe didn't mean she was out of energy yet. It was crazy... feeling like a greyhound, like you could run for miles and miles. Her face drops to that shielding, calm facade once more.

"When I fought in... tournaments... people cheered me on, encouraging me to keep going, that maybe I could reach the Olympics and become part of Team Ryouko. But... it comes down to my decision in the end. I desire more power... I'm not sure if Ryouko could provide what I desire or not... but it’s a goal I suppose…"she begins, as she continues to push the pads together before her.

“I can see the hunger in your eyes for more power… the desire to grow stronger, to reach your limits and then some. It’s nice to see someone else holds the same mindset.”

"I may not be of much use in assisting your physical training," she began, "But perhaps we can work together in practicing our art. I know things I have said will have to wait till you see them with your own eyes so I will not press further on it. There are others that are gifted like myself. My lover is a skilled mystic and I know a priestess of storms and ice. When you wish to improve your magic I hope you come and see us."

It was true, she did crave for power. She was not going to be a witch like the books. Kanoe had no intention of hiding when the time comes. She had dreams and ambitions for her dark powers and for those who will join her. But for now, she had to focus on survival and her sanity on this island.

Kanoe smiles faintly as she sits down and watches the woman lift weights. She wonders how far this one would go for power. Will Taisie join her somedsay? She could only hope. The witch was growing rather fond of this new student.

"Or if you just want company here, I am willing to join you," she says with a faint smirk, "Though my body will not keep up for long. As long as continuing to grow is your dream, we can work together."

"Wouldn't want to be a nuisance," she teases once more, a soft smile quickly fades away as she begins to have press harder for her arms to keep going. The woman made sense in what she was saying. Working together to improve each other. Didn't sound at all like a bad deal. She hesitates in her workout when the woman sounded like she was leaving. In all honesty she didn't want her to go.

"Company sounds nice, but only at your transgression. I won't force you to stay and bore yourself with something you're not familiar with."

She gives a smirk, shrugging her shoulders if the woman wished to push her body further. The mentioning of a lover makes her blink in somewhat surprise. But then she should expect Kanoe to have someone close to her. She was very enticing when she thought not hard at all about it. But if she were to think deeper...

"Hmm... sounds as if you have a witch ling get-together going on. I wouldn't mind joining. I've already sacrificed my human nature to socialize and most of my human emotions to keep myself from holding back. Anything else I have to sacrifice won't be problem," she replies, using the get together term instead of a covenant.

She practically sacrificed her family to grow stronger. When she continued on despite her parents 'forceful' disapproval she basically isolated herself from them. That was probably the reason she wasn't used to showing much emotion to anyone.

"I am sure you will keep up," she returns with a smirk, "I go with you and choose to stay by my choice so do not worry of forcing me."

There are not even a handful of students that share the same desires that they do. She had no intention of ever returning to that naive little world of being just an ordinary girl. Kanoe was better that, stronger than that. She deserved a life worthy of her power. Now that she knows this woman shares a similar desire, she wanted this one to be with her when that day comes when they finally escape this island.

"I am sure they will welcome another gifted student such as yourself," she replies, "Especially one so...devoted."

She wonders how much more this one will sacrifice. Her body has been given for power on more than one occasion to the monsters and mystical beings of Shokushu island. Will this woman stay with her till the end or turn around when the path grows too dark.

"Ambition, devotion, determination; I'm not one so likely to give up after all I've done, all I've given up for more power. Being sued as a... sex toy isn't what I had in mind... but I'm not afraid to lose it. At least that means I'm a woman instead of a 'girl' as most Americans would say," she replies, smiling somewhat before stopping her arm stretching.

She slumps forward and dabs hers forehead gently with the towel before taking another deep drink of water. She wasn't about to turn away from a possible lesson in learning magic. She wondered if the woman knew of what a dark path she truly intended on delving into. Further away from human nature to instinct, the better it was for Taisie.

"I have somewhat of a knack for magic. Learning that and shinobi ways is my life. I wouldn't give it up for anything. If you're offering me to join you in a question for growing stronger, I'll be more then happy to oblige."

My my this one was devoted indeed. She was not expecting such a response, especially the mention of sex from this one. It was very enticing to take up that offer but she will not take advantage, yet. Kanoe smiles at Taisie. This was wonderful, she could not ask for a better gifted student to join her cause.

"Seems we both are on the same page then," she replies with a smirk, "We will learn much from each other and hopefully grow strong enough to deal with the creatures that dwell on this island. My love and I have three years left here. Let us make the most of this."

She did not reveal all of her intentions but this woman was able to deduce enough. There was no reason to tell more. They were both getting what they want and this loner will be gaining some companions. Her eyes blink at part of what the woman said.

"You are a ninja?" she says in slight shock.

Guess she should not be surprised. There are witches, mages and monsters in existence, ninjas did not sound as unreasonable.

"I only have three years left for Shokushu. I'm a sophomore as well," she says before taking another sip and then began to use the weights again. She blinks as the woman seems bewildered with her last statement. Realizing she had said shinobi made her give a soft chuckle and shake her head.

"I thought you knew who Team Ryouko was since they were in the Olympics and won. It’s a ninja training camp that's for the 'best of the best' supposedly."

Apparently they weren't fully on the same page yet. As Kanoe thinks, there are mystics, witches, wizards and apparently 'monsters', ninjas shouldn't be that hard to think of as being reasonable, considering they've existed as long as magic has. It was a bit of a surprise to see how shocked the woman was about it. Well, she may of had the same expression if it turned around. Maybe...

"And as for being a ninja, I feel I'm just a novice at it. Sure, I have the strength and will for it, but... I just don't feel I'm there quite yet. I have much to learn just as I do with magical arts. I hope I haven't startled you completely with my goals."

"Not at all," she replies, "I do not keep track of sports so I fail to know much about ninjitsu. I am sure you will grow in time with the amount of training you do. Just like we all will."

She gets up to get another bottle of water for Taisie and sets it to the side. Kanoe was fine with just talking to the woman as this one works out. Perhaps she will learn a bit about self defense in the future but for now, she found this woman interesting. It was not often you find someone with similar things in common, especially as a witch.

"What will you do when you finish training with Ryouko?" she asks, "I doubt you intend to stop there hm?"

"I'm not sure if what they have to offer will either help me or hinder me. I typically don't care much for fame, and if they hinder me in my magic training I'm not taking part in any of it. Team Ryouko is long-time contract. They'll try to coax you back in until you can't do any sort of sport anymore."

Now that her arms were thoroughly getting sore from the continuous workout she stops again for a longer time to rest. Kanoe seemed interested in her goals it seemed. She wondered why the sudden interest, but doesn't bother asking.

"I don't expect to be perfect myself, but in the olden days if a ninja didn't do his job right he had to commit the highest price for failing-suicide. Its not that I wish to follow that deeply, but the ones who remained alive until their old days meant they were perfect in execution. That's amazing to me how committed they were to their temple master."

She pulls her arm to the side with her other hand, stretching the shoulder blade muscles to relax them better. She curiously peers to the woman while she does this, quirking a brow in a perplexed expression.

"What do you intend to do after you graduate? Since you know a bit of my goals and you don't mind sharing."
