Post We hold these truths...(For Timye)
“Ugh dammit!” Shai growled through gritted teeth as the soldering tool sent a dazzling array of sparks flying through the air. She quickly pulled the tool away; readjusting the microscope over the nanite she was working on. She let out a long, drawn out sigh when she saw the charred, pathetic remnant of what she’d been working on all morning.

Shai pulled the gloves off of her hands and plopped them on the desk, gently rubbing her eyes as she leaned back in her chair. With her free hand she grabbed the soldering tool from the desk, as well as a round magnifying glass that had been lying beside her work table. She held the tool above her head, adjusting the glass between her fingers to focus on the tip of the tool she had been using.

“Just wonderful.” She muttered as she saw the hairline break. She had seen hints of the break coming, but she had been so close with the modifications to this particular nanite she thought she could rush her way through it.

“My first mistake.” She grumbled placing the glass and the tool on the table. “Pan?” She called. She let her eyes close for several seconds before opening them again and recalling out to her companion. “Pan?”

She peered over her shoulder to see Pan curled lightly at the foot of her bed, snoozing away. Something was different about her friend ever since she had to reboot him. He seemed so much more lifelike than he had before, and his simulations seemed…real. “Pan!” She shouted, chuckling with amusement as the artic pup sprang up with vigilance.

“What is it Shai?” Even his voice carried a different tone. She had went ahead and gave him the modifications he’d asked for. He wanted the ability to change his color from the default crimson she’d originally designed him with, and she still was unused to the shocking white of the pup.

“I have to go by the labs,” She said grabbing the tool and holding it up for him to see. “Damn thing broke again. I swear the professor should just let me keep the soldering tips here. As a matter of fact I think I’m going to snag a few extras while I’m down there, wanna come with?”

Pan yawned seemingly uninterested before curling up again. “I’ll man down the fort.” He muttered, readjusting himself to get more comfortable. The disappointment in Shai’s face was obvious.

“Some assistant you are,” She muttered, smoothing out the wrinkles in her uniform as she stood. She ran slender fingers through her snowy locks, straightening her tresses before tossing them over her shoulder. “I’ll be back soon then.” She said grabbing her jacket, and the small bag of Soldering tools before disappearing out of the door.

Shai was in no real hurry, and the long brisk walk towards the lab was a pleasant diversion from the failure of her earlier experiment. She wanted so bad to have some results to produce for Kathryn, but she hadn’t been able to come up with anything concrete since the stimulation of her nerves. She found herself lost in her thoughts as she traversed the weathered concrete, pulling her jacket low over her skirt as the brisk chill sent a shudder down her spine.

Lost in contemplation Shai nearly missed the building, she quickly turned on her heels and jogged up the stairs and pushed through the doors into the warmth of the lab building. She looked over her shoulder, feeling a slight pang of worry as she saw the sun beginning its descent behind the mountains. She hadn’t realized how late it was, she’d have to hurry.

She whisked down the corridors, producing a key card from her soldering bag as she approached the lab. The professor had issued her a key to access the lab at any given time should she be hit with a sudden burst of inspiration. She rarely spent time there, preferring to keep her work in her dorm but it was nice to have a good supply of tools should hers ever malfunction. She swiped the card, her other hand waiting impatiently on the door handle. The light on the lock turned green and she quickly pushed her way inside of the room.

Post Re: We hold these truths...(For Timye)
It was an unfortunate accident he had. It had been earlier in the day when he stalked a student down on the beach. He watched hre travel back and forth from the water to her towel several times and lay back on it and just soak up the sun. It was after her last trip to the water that most interested him. She sat back down on her towel and gave a look up and down the beach to see if anyone could see her. When satisfied she was alone, she removed her top. She stretched out on her back and continued to tan.

Eventually, she'd flip over and that was when he decided to strike. He wasn't sure how long it had taken her, but she rose up onto her knees. He dove out of the tree and spread his wings as he dove towards her. His hands were out, ready to snatch her up, but where he should have picked the kneeling girl up, there was nothing. Somehow she knew he was after her. He pulled up, out of his dive and rose a bit higher. She was at a dead run towards the water.

Call it an error in judgment caused by greed and lust for her body. He knew what could happen, but he ignored the consequences. The girl ran straight out into the water and was up to her chest once he was in another dive. She stood there her eyes behind her sunglasses locked on him in some weird form of defiance? If he had recognized her, he would have known to not go after this one. She was former prey that both he and his creator had toyed with. Where he failed to remember, she did.

He was so focused on her, that he didn't see the incoming wave. He impacted her and his fingers curled around her shoulders, but he was so low to the water, the wave struck him and his prey. He unwillingly let go of her as he was knocked backwards and tumbled into the water. instantly, his systems started to malfunction. The panels that normally hid the biologic material under the metal skin came open. In reaction to the shock of the salt water, tentacles both long and short sprang free and lashed wildly at the air. His wings retracted about three quarters of the way back beneath their panels, but the parts that remained extended were repeatedly hit by the panels trying to close.

He clawed his way along the sandy bottom until he drug himself back onto the shore. He remained bent over and on his knees. His head tilted up as he looked towards the forest. His vision was almost pixelated and switched between the various modes. He gave a glance down his body as he let his torso rise. There was a mass of writhering tentacles all around him. They shoot out of his body then retract. They'd lash at the air as they tried to find something to wrap around. They whipped at each other for hitting another one. Even the plates between his legs had opened and he was quite erect, even roughly half of his second cock had shown itself.

His prey forgotten, but who was now being used under water(serves her right!), he made a long trek through the forest. Normally it was an uneventful trip, but with lashing tentacles that wrapped around everything they came in contact with, that made it a pain. When he finally broke free from it, light had faded from the sky. He knew the N.I.C.E. Labs where he and the doctor worked could remedy his problem, but, he doubted any of them were unoccupied, and if they were, they probably didn't have the skill. All they were interested in was sexually experimenting on the girls, not fixing biomechanical constructs.

There was a fine science department at the school however. He didn't know the qualifications of the teachers in that department, but he knew there was robotics, engineering, biology and chemistry taught there. Maybe one of the teachers was working late, and if not, perhaps they'd arrive early. Then, he could pull the teacher aside and force the person to fix him.

He made his way through the campus and used the shadows as his cover. Once he reached the science building, he opened the main door to the hall. Tentacles lashed out around the door frame, and after a several minute fight, he was able to pull them free and continue on inside. He walked from door to door and looked through the window in each until he finally found the one he was looking for. His hand, as well as about half a dozen tentacles wrapped around the handle and tried to turn it. Locked. He would have had no issue breaking it down, but that would alert the professor if they were inside, or when they arrived in the morning.

He gave another tug on the door as more tentacles lashed at it and tryed to break it down without him. IN the process, one of the tentacles slapped against the card slot in the door. He heard a small beep and heard a click. His hand tried the handle again. The door slowly was pushed open. The disruption in his bioelectricity must have been enough to trigger the lock, but not enough to short circuit it. After another short fight with the tentacles, He slipped into the lab. He made a beeline for one of the more unoccupied corners and sat down on the floor. Another small screen appeared in his field of vision, as the modes continued to cycle behind it. That screen would check his systems and see just what damage had been done.

Post Re: We hold these truths...(For Timye)
The lab was unlike many that were housed within this particular building. Rather than being stationed with the other various fields of scientific research such as chemistry, and biotechnology, the Nanotech lab was housed in the mechanical engineering department. Shai completely understood why architect would have placed it here, while Nanites were generally small, the creations fashioned from Nanotech may not be. Hence the entire lab looked like it belonged to OCD mechanic. Spacious and grandiose with machinery in an organized manner, along with a full assembly line awaiting instruction for something to assemble.

Being located so close to the mechanical engineering department allowed the professor and his pupils free reign of the scrap metal department, which Shai was grateful for whatever she could get her hands on when it was in supply. Still- it would have been so much more fucking convenient if they would have just made room in Chemistry lab area.

The snowy-haired scientist kneeled before a large rather complex looking toolbox near the far end of the lab. The clang of metal against metal rang through the air as she shifted several boxed sets of tools, carelessly tossing aside the ones that she had no use for. The soldering tool was nestled in her free hand, the other furiously picking away at several sets until she finally settled on a box that seemed promising. She carefully lifted the lid and peered inside, breathing a sigh of relief when she saw the several replacement tips for the tool.

In that brief moment of silence Shai’s ears pricked at a curious sound back towards the main entrance of the lab. Vigilant, the student snapped her head back towards the direction, her steel gray eyes straining against the fluorescent lighting. She stayed perfectly still for several moments, listening for anything to indicate she wasn’t going mad and hearing things. After several moments of silence the student cautiously turned her attention back towards the soldering tips, plucking several of the incredibly small tubes from their case and scaling them against her soldering tool. After several attempts to fit she finally decided on one. She placed the tip between her teeth, feeling around on the ground for her own tool case she’d brought with her. She unzipped the bag and replaced the new tip with the old one, giving it a distasteful look before flinging it into the open tool case.

She took a few moments, giving a last scan for anything else she might want to nab from the toolbox but found nothing. She ran her fingers through her hair, pulling the bulk of her tresses over her shoulder as she stood. She felt a pang of discomfort as a draft brushed tenderly against the exposed flesh of her taut ass. She let an irritated grumble escape her lips as she pulled the stubborn skirt down to give herself the semblance of modesty in the uniform that was obviously too small for her curvaceous hips.

Light steps echoed through the corridor of the lab as she headed away from the assembly part of the lab and back towards the micro-stations. Shai had neglected to light the entire lab, and in her negligence she failed to notice the looming darkness of the figure that had taken his sanctuary in the corner. Oblivious to his presence she proceeded in her gait right past him, without a regard to his presence.

She pulled away a chair from one of the stations and took a seat, unzipping her tool bag and bringing one of the suspended work lights directly over the colored panel. She pulled the soldering tool and the replacement tip and gently placed them on the screen. With care that only a scientist could emphasize she slowly inched the replacement tip into the tool, having to pause several times before she heard the soft click of it’s attachment. Her eyes wandered away from the tool, up towards the clock that hung just above the door.

“Shit.” She muttered, remembering she was supposed to meet Kathryn at 7:00. As luck would have it, it was 7:05. With a resigned sigh she gently went back to work, ensuring the tip was securely placed and wasn’t crooked.

If this was any other time, he would have been quite interested in all of the things in the lab. finished projects, works in progress, blue prints. He was a marriage of man and machine and the simplest of machines could fascinate him. He'd have to make another trip back here in the future that was for sure. He might be able to find a thing or two that could prove useful in his hobby. But his thoughts of what might be on the tables around him, and when the professor might show up were soon shattered by a loud thunk of metal against metal. The normal green glow of his eyes had died out, which would prove to be an advantage in this situation.

His head turned in the direction of the noise. It took a few cycles of his glitched visual circuits, but he could make out that what caused the noise was most certainly not the professor. For one, the professor didn't wear a school uniform like the girls. The other thing was the professor did not have an ass, or hips even remotely as nice. His head tilted down for a moment as he looked between his legs. For a second or two, he thought about rushing in on her, but with his tentacles literally gone wild, and half of his systems malfunctioning, it wouldn't be nearly as enjoyable. Plus, this girl was in the lab, and she was collecting equipment. Could enemies reach across to one another and make a deal? They could, and in this case they would. The one catch was that once he was fully functional, he wasn't going to live up to his end of the bargain.

He studied her the best he could, he wanted more details, but the constantly cycling filters made a nearly impossible task of that. As she passed by him, he had a stroke of luck. He snapped a still image of her that transferred to the corner of his vision. Typical uniform that was too small by a size or two, tool bag, and extremely long, snow white hair. He didn't notice it till it was almost too late, but as she passed by, several of his tentacles grabbed wildly at her ankles. He shifted himself back just in time for them to harmlessly grasp nothing but the space in the air where they were a moment before.

He had planned on watching her for a bit longer to see just what she was up to and if she would indeed be able to help him. When her head shot up and looked at the clock and was followed by a single word from her lips, his plans changed. Apparently she was late or had forgotten about something. He couldn't lose this chance. Timye slowly moved up behind her and reached out with his left hand. It hovered behind her for a split second before it fell to her shoulder. His fingers curled around her joint and squeezed, not too hard, not too soft.

Where normally, his voice was perfectly human, it was now garbled It changed octaves, it changed pitch. It changed from male to female, old to young, fast to slow, and everything in between. One moment it would shift to perfection, the next it was completely synthesized and obviously robotic. As if they sensed what he was up to, the tentacles simply lashed at the air, instead of around her, since she was the closest thing to grab. In addition to the tentacles, his dual cocks still stood straight up. The second one had extended to it's full length when he'd got the view of those curvy hips.

"You are a student of the professor's? If so, you'll come to no harm... I need your help"

Shai was putting the last few minor adjustments on the soldering tool. She blinked hard several times, slightly irritated by the magnifying glass and how it seemed to obscure her vision. She examined the tooltip for several moments before plugging the cord into one of the various slots at the edge of the table. After several seconds she saw a faint spark, provoking a nod of approval from the scientist.

The student began the clean up, unplugging the tool, wrapping it and placing it neatly in the case. With a stretch and a yawn the student pushed her chair away from the station and stood. Her arms were held high over her head, her height increased significantly as she stood on her tip toes, the material of her blouse straining against her breasts as her back arched. She lazily let her arms fall to the side before she grabbed her case.

The student’s body shuddered violently when she felt the cool metal grasp close around her shoulder. She felt her limbs freeze in place as the distorted voice reached her panicked ears. She quickly spun on her heels tearing violently at the metallic limbs, twisting out of his grasp and backing clumsily into the station table, knocking several implements over.

The sight before her caused her jaw to hang slightly agape. The beast itself was terrifying. As it rose to its full height it easily towered over the girl. His skin radiated the light reflecting off of its metallic sheen, yet it seemed to absorb the light at the same time, giving his exterior a glimmering obsidian appearance. Several blades adorned his body, and yet the trembling Shai felt wasn’t from fear.

Shai had a problem. She could feel her fingertips twitching slightly as she regarded the beast. A tinge of excitement coursed through her veins. This was no monster. This was a creation! She wanted nothing more than to get her hands on the beast and take it apart, piece-by-piece. Her steel gray eyes glittered as they darted from one limb to the next, watching as the curious panels tried to shut against a variety of tendrils that extended from the creature’s body. As her eyes fell they widened significantly when she saw the two large phallic members protruding lustily from the creature’s groin.

These beasts had a way with words, ‘no harm’ generally meant ‘you’re getting raped’ and Shai wasn’t about to let that happen. She shrieked as several tendrils billowed towards her, the student quickly ducking and weaving to avoid their frenzied assault.

“What do you want?” She screamed working her way around the other side of the station, inching inconspicuously towards the door.

Normally, he wouldn't have given her the opportunity to spin around, but when she pulled away, his hand released her. While he wasn't able to see her fingers twitch or her eyes widen as they dropped to the two phallic shapes between his legs, he could track her movement, and he really couldn't blame her. After all, not too many of the monsters on this island wanted to sit down and discuss the girls subjects in school over tea. He took a few steps backwards for the sole purpose of putting more room between them, but inadvertently positioned himself closer to the door.

"If you are a student of the professor, I need your help."

The tentacles still lashed around wildly through the air with minds of their own. He had to gain some control over himself if he did want her help. Right now, if she came close enough to repair him, the tentacles would tear her clothing from her body and mercilessly have their way with her. His head was pointed straight at her, and several bright flashes of green came from his eyes, but quickly flickered out. He had to time everything right thanks to the constantly shifting filters in his vision, but eventually was able to find the right command to disconnect his inner power to the biologic mass that the tentacles were formed out of. What looked like lightning rippled over the tentacles before they gave their final waves and fell to the ground, motionless.

"If you're in here, you must be, and if you had an access card, you'd have to be one of his best students."

The panels that covered the biologic mass that the tentacles extended from continued trying to close in a futile effort, along with the panels that normally concealed his wings. He stood up straight and extended his arms in front of him, then showed her the front and backs of his palms. His eyes flashed bright green several more times as he stubbornly tried to regain control over his other systems. The tentacles were removed from the problem at hand, but two more still remained. He cursed inside his mind, the panels were locked open and would not budge.

"It seems the tables have turned and the predator comes to the prey for help. You have no reason to believe me, but, if you repair my short circuits, you will come to no harm. I will even let you call on me number of times to do your bidding."

They were mighty sacrifices he laid before her, but he guessed the stakes would be high. Again, he was the monster, she was the student, and just how many times had monsters used trickery to lure students just close enough? It was the main story of the events on this island. He dropped down to one knee and bowed forward slightly. His arms, spread out to his sides and he kept his palms open and pointed towards her. It was an extremely difficult thing for him to do, but, Timye was trying his best to appear as submissive and non aggressive as he could.

Post Re: We hold these truths...(For Timye)
Light gray eyes watched as the tendrils danced and weaved wildly through the air, mesmerized by their untamed movements. They swatted and reached, grabbing for anything nearby to latch onto, and when they failed they began to attack one another in anger. The creature’s words had hardly registered in the students mind, her attention to the beast before her only snapped back when she saw the surge of energy envelop the tendrils. She eyed the creature, then the falling masses of tendrils as they dropped limp and lifeless to the ground, trailing behind the creature as he flanked her, heading off her only escape.

Slowly Shai began to put the pieces together. She thought she was a student of the professors? How presumptuous, she thought. Though, she could hardly blame the monster for its ignorance. The reality of the situation was, Nanotech was a wildly unexplored field of study. Shai had taken the research from several scientists and engineers and had found the links that they had neglected to find. This facility was merely based on what the other scientists knew, their pooled research. The classes that pertained to Shai’s major were the other aspects of Nanotech, things that perhaps she did not know. Various forms of engineering, computers and technology, biotechnology, that sort.

Still, she wondered, why would this beast need my help? Her gaze was drawn upward by several brilliant flashes of fluorescent green light that appeared from the creature’s eyes. Pan had a similar function, and she immediately recognized that if this creature was in fact machine, he was malfunctioning. Several nearly inaudible clanking noises brought her attention to the several panels that attempted to close on various extensions of the creature.

As she had guessed, the creature was machine. She listened to the distorting and malfunctioning voice as he assured her that should he be able to repair him, she’d come to no harm. She almost chuckled to herself, almost. Again, after finding out the beast’s intentions she hardly heard the part about him doing whatever bidding she saw suitable. She watched warily, her knuckles blanching white as she clung to her tool case. The beast lowered to one knee, in a sort of bowing gesture, his palms were open and pointed towards her. Out of her peripheral she noted that two tendrils still lashed wildly in the air.

Every part of Shai wanted to happily agree. This technology was obviously far advanced to anything she’d ever seen before despite her own various creations. As she observed the creature’s exterior, she began noting the potential of being able to fix him. Though, nothing was certain until she had a look inside.

”Are you crazy?!” She heard herself think, bringing her out of her adoring almost loving glance at the piece of miraculous technology. She had no idea what this machine’s function was, and it seemed of sentient thought, so was it really a machine?

“Pan is as sentient as I’ve ever seen.” She argued to herself. Still, if this thing is broken then who was she to care? While she was being presumptuous, she could only assume what the beast was doing on this island. If her assumption was correct, then it would be one less threat to worry about by simply leaving it broken.

“Why should I help you? I’d have to assume that the island would be just a little bit safer with you remaining a broken heap,” She started, still clutching to her tool bag. “A-and how do I know you’re not just going to dismiss your promises when I’m finished.”

There was just a slight tinge of hope in her voice. Hope that this one would be different. Perhaps he was a renegade battling the beasts on the island to make it safe for the inhabitants. She thought, noting the several blades that emerged from the creature’s exterior shell. She almost rolled her eyes at the thought. She urged herself not to fall into the temptation of the new technology. The two tendrils flailing in the air only strengthened her resolve.

A renegade battling the beasts on this island. Now, that wasn't exactly the case, but if he did ever come across a female monster that suited his fancy, he just might have to let her know how it feels to go from predator to prey. But, he actually was anything besides a renegade monster. He was designed and built for the purpose of capturing and taking pleasure from these girls. His promises would be dismissed when she finished repairing him. That was where point of views would differ. He promised not to harm her, and he wouldn't. Instead, he would test out her repairs to make sure he was at optimal efficiency once again.

"Yes, the island probably would be safer with me out of the picture. But, you're obviously an advanced student to have lab access at such hours. That being said, you're probably curious about my inner workings, the meshing of biological material and mechanics. You see, my creator, he taught your professor."

He thought over his words and hers for a moment. Perhaps he should let her fix him and simply let her go, only to snatch her up at a later date. From the various scans of his filtering visual modes, he was able to piece together a solid picture of her from head to toe, instead of a combination of infrared, wire frame, full color and a grey rendering. He was able to lock in the model of her, how she actually appeared before him. As her model slowly turned, the decision was made. Yeah, he'd go back on his word, but efficiency would have to be tested, and her body seemed up for it.

He remained on one knee, his arms out to his sides. He bowed his head for a moment. No, you can't grab her and force her to repair you. She could make you malfunction worse. Plus, who even said she would lay a hand on him? In his current state, he could take her, but it wouldn't be anything enjoyable for either party with how he was in disrepair. Play to her interests. His head lifted up and his body straightened. His hands moved to his chest and hovered in front of it. he moved through command menus until he reached the one he was after.

With a snap-hiss, and a small venting of gas, his chest plates opened up. He slowly pulled them apart to reveal to her the mass of circuit boards and the neat, organized flow of wires. Two masses of reddish brown material rested along each side and had several small, black boxes attached to them, with wires that connected them to the main body of circuits. The tentacles finally, out of reflex from his chest opening, retreated back into the mass from which they came. The panels that battered them did not stop their constant opening and closing once they were withdrawn. Even his cocks retreated and were concealed by the plate that stowed them away.

"You could shut me down permanently, you could repair me. I cannot decide that for you. There's not even a guarantee that the professor could return me to peak performance. I am at your mercy, ... what was your name? Repair me, and as I said, you will come to no harm, and I will share a piece of technology that my creator also made. It will be yours and yours alone."

[color=#0040FF]Shai had long resisted the temptation to help the mechanical beast. Every memory of every creature that had taken advantage of her flooded her mind and she was more than ready to begin evasive action. If he was malfunctioning she could easily refuse. No matter what torture the beast put her through she would readily disobey and rebel. She would constantly seek escape and once she did, she would run away with a beaming smile on her face knowing she did the right thing. She was confident in her resolve even as the creature began to in not so many words plead for her help. She was already formulating a plan of action…

That was until she watched curiously as his hands hovered a few inches away from his chest. Her crystal gray eyes widened as the chest panel opened, separated and revealed the glorious inner workings of the creature. Her left hand twitched unintentionally, her eyes narrowing on the intricate wiring.

“Holy mother board.” She whispered as her eyes wandered the beast’s wiring and power sources. She grimaced, forcing herself to look away. Daring to turn her back on the creature she did so, crossing her arms and allowing her pack to fall to the ground. The sheer memory of the intricate structure of the beast remained fresh in her mind, and she wanted nothing more than to see what made the beast ‘tick’ so to speak.

After several seconds, and even more deep, steady breaths she spun around on her heels.
She inhaled deeply and sighed, knowing she wouldn’t be able to control the next words that spilled out of her mouth even if she wanted to. She was a scientist, after all.

“Alright…Alright fine I’ll do it, but if I see any inch of you coming near my body without my permission then I’ll destroy you.” She saw the beast’s posture ease slightly and she felt foolish for even agreeing to do something so stupid. She knew she was going to regret it in the end, never hurts to cover your bases though.

“And…you’ll owe me big for this. If I need your help sometime in the future you’re going to help me…I’m probably the most idiotic person in the world for this but I’m really hoping that you’ll honor your word and that I’ll walk out of here safely.”

She seemed uncertain for several more moments but after another glance at the open chest panel she clapped her hands together.

“You, on the table now.” She demanded, bustling around the lab gathering materials she thought she may need. After a good amount of time she returned with an armful of gadgets and tools, allowing them to spill over onto a nearby counter by the large examination table.
Above the table was a large magnifier with a monstrous light, she’d need all the light she could get. She dug her teeth into her lower lip and cast a nervous glance towards the creature.

“Remember, any hint of foul play and I’ll shut you down.”

Normally, if she turned her back on him, he would have been on her before she stopped moving, But really, what good would that do in this situation. He just stayed silent and played the came for the time being. Through is faulty visual circuits, he watched her body move, every curve shift, but then his head jerked a bit as he heard the sound of the bag hitting the floor. For a moment, he thought she had launched something at him he hadn't seen, but no, those curves were still. When she spun around, his eyes were still traveling over her curves, damn this malfunctioning body. He listened to her words and was taken back a bit, she was going to help without any 'motivation'.

"I already said I was yours to call on at a later date. The rest of your terms are acceptable, but do understand, I can only do so much to control my malfunctioning systems. In your repairs, a tentacle may form and lash at he air, but no, I will not intentionally touch you in any malicious way."

When she clapped her hands together, he nodded and followed her command. He moved to the table closest to her and watched her move away to gather her tools. He sat on the edge of the table, then spun his legs towards the far end as he laid his torso back. He was laid out like a human would be on an autopsy table, minus the little sheet over his pelvis, but with the inner workings of his torso exposed. With the clatter of tools from his side, his head turned to see the mass of tools on the nearby counter.

Then she was at his side. She actually was going to do this, or set off some device in his chest that would instantly destroy him. Her saw her nervous look and her lower lip deform as she bit the back of it. He expected the latter of the two, but when she spoke, the first was confirmed. He simply nodded.

"I want to be shut down about as much as you want to be raped by any of us that roam this island. The technology I promised you, I will have to bring at a later date as I do not carry it with me. But, it will be delivered."

He had already picked out what device he was going to 'give' her. Even if he didn't enjoy his first experience with her once he was repaired, the device would ensure that she enjoyed every monster that much more. It would actually be a service to both her and her attackers, as well as more enjoyable for both. That was one thing that kept him still and distracted rom her body being so close when he was able to do nothing. The promise of things to come. That would be the first thing he would have to do when he finished with her, he'd get into the school's digital files and set up a visit to the labs. He was a monster yes, and he could give her the device anywhere, but he didn't want something to go wrong and harm her. Plus, she was kind enough to repair him in the first place. If you could even call it kindness.

"If you have any questions, I will answer and guide you to the best of my ability."

Shai was still setting up her equipment, neatly arranging all of the tools she was expecting to use. She muttered several acknowledgments to the creature’s suggestions, promises and offers. It was obvious she was in some kind of scientific trance, listening and registering but her mind too occupied to respond to certain things in depth. She cursed herself for not bringing her computer along, but her eyes finally settled onto one of the lab laptops. She plucked it from a nearby station and got several programs running on it, including Word so she could take some private notes. She was helping him after, why not take a few notes that may benefit her in the future?

She washed her hands, hardly knowing if the technology was susceptible to dirt, grime or oil from her fingers. After completely drying them it at last seemed the student was ready. She peered over the creature’s hulking form, her eyes wandering the contents of the interior of the chest panel. She grabbed a long connection cord that was secured into the USB port of the laptop. She gingerly looked for a place to put it, finally finding a cord deep inside of the creature’s panel that matched. Once connected an error screen, asking for authorization popped up on the laptop. Her fingers flew over the keyboard, bypassing the security and a scaled model of the creature appeared on the laptop.

“You weren’t lying about being created here.” She thought out loud, a tinge of anger prevalent in her tone. She had always wanted to cling onto the miniscule amount of faith she had that perhaps the administration was not involved with the monsters that roamed the island. All that hope diminished.

She continued to observe, first wising to assess the cause of the malfunction. She used several tools, toying and tweaking several programming systems, which caused some, not so desired affects. More than once a tendril would shoot from one of the creature’s panels and lash out viciously towards her. After one coiled around her arm causing the soldering tool she was using to fly across the room it provoked an angry outburst.

“What’d you do, walk into lake?” She screamed, pulling angrily at the tendril and finally freeing herself from it. She huffed for several moments and took a few steps away, waiting from the desperado tendril to recoil back into its appropriate port.

Obviously annoyed by the short circuiting she was trying to repair the student took a few steadying breaths. “All I can discern is that there’s possibly some water damage, while the technology is slightly foreign I can most likely repair it, but if it [I]is[/] water damage…” Shai looked down and made a few more silent observations.

“I’m going to need you to shut down if I’m going to fix you. You’ve already caused some irreparable damage, and you’re going to have a few parts replaced,” After seeing the apparent displeasure in the creature’s demeanor she quickly added, “It’s nothing major, primarily the panels. I’m thinking you got into some ocean water, which is bad. Ocean water has salt in it, and it is causing corrosion on some of your circuits. I need to take you apart and clean them. The longer you stay powered on the most circuits are going to blow, you have to cease the energy flow. You may be dry on the outside, but I can already tell there’s a lot of moisture locked in your circuit board and I can’t quite get to it yet.”

The student’s eyes began wandering around the lab, settling on several machines. She looked a little disappointed.

“I know the campus has one, but it’s not in the Nanotech lab. I know over in the mechanical building they have an Ultrasonic machine. I’ll also have to run by the chem. Lab to pick up some things, but unless I’ve examined you incorrectly, the entire process should only take me about four hours to complete, that is depending on how fast I can pull you apart.” Her voice and eagerness to help sounded sincere. She seemed so enthralled by the project that she was already making the arrangements.

“Lucky for you, a lot of your construct is water resistant, the most I’ll probably need to disassemble the entire chest panel, and your head panel in case there is some water damage to your screen.” She said tapping his eye area gently.

Post Re: We hold these truths...(For Timye)
What purpose would it serve lying about where he was created? There was only one, and it went unknown to him, but her thoughts were correct as he cast a sinister light over the faculty. He really had no reason to care, as long as they kept the halls flooded with new girls. If that flow ever turned dry, he'd turn his attention to the faculty and once he tired of them, it'd be off to find new hunting grounds. Timye just laid back and let her work, there really wasn't much else he could do at this point. Each time a tentacle shot out, if he had the facial muscles, he would have cringed. It was unintentional, but she still might think of it as an assault on her, but she worked on. When the one wrapped around her arm, his head lifted up to look at her through his flashing visual modes. If there was emotion in his eyes, they would have asked don't stop working. Part of him was growing angry at this whole situation, yes, she was repairing him, but he was at her mercy. She knew what he did and what he was designed to do. She could shut him down on a whim and he'd never taste the pleasures of another student's soft flesh. But then an idea popped into his main processor as he listened to her words.

'No sense in lying about the damage done, it may give you more hints to fix me. Your assessment about seawater is correct. I was hunting a girl that I've come to know quite well over my years here. I spotted her from above swimming in the ocean and put myself into a dive towards her. But as I was about to pluck her from the water, another monster pulled her beneath the waves. I had no time to maneuver and my feet hit the water, that sent me spiraling out of control and after I broke through the surface I impacted the sandy bottom. I wasn't submerged for more than two minutes"

Once more he just listened. No, it was a trick. She was going to shut him down and dismantle him so no other girl would fall prey to him agian. No way in hell. But then he turned his head towards her and her curves filled his vision. Even distorted he knew she would be quite fun to toy with, and she had kept her word so far. It was the only way. If he stayed like this, he'd never by able to take the full pleasure from her body, or any other ever again. Timye just nodded at her new recommendation of shutting him down to replace parts and dry him out. He lifted an arm and reached out to her, not a quick strike, but a slow, gradual movement in hopes to show it wasn't malicious. When his fingers reached her, they curled around her bicep, not hard, but his grip was naturally firm.

"Do what must be done. Replace some parts, dry me out, just get me back to one hundred percent. We've been able to trust each other so far, and I know what you could do if you shut me down. I hope you live up to your word and I remind you about the gadgets I promised."

He paused for a moment, thank the maker he didn't have lips, because he would have had a hard time disguising a devious grin.

"One more thing Shai... Might you be able to waterproof the rest of me so an unfortunate accident like this will never happen again? I can't keep running to you or the professor every little time a bit of water is splashed on me"

That honestly was the least of his concerns. What he wanted was to be immune to the water. If he was, that would open up so many more options for him. Options that left the girls in nothing, or at very most next to nothing. If she could, it would be glorious, and in the future, he'd have to pay her a little visit in the showers to thank her properly.

((Still really freakin' long, sorry! I left out as much technical jargin as I could xD))

The young scientist nodded as the machine began to explain what events had taken place leading up to the sufficient water damage. She had been confident in her observation, but hearing the full story of what had happened only seemed to reassure her with her methods to fix him. Her beautiful, docile features twisted into a light grimace as the beat began to recount the tale of ensnaring a victim, and she felt a pang of guilt shoot through her limbs. Was she really going to repair a creature that could do this to students? She dropped a longing gaze towards the open control panel and knew that she would never be able to walk away. Something the creature said seemed to dislodge the student from her quiet contemplations.

“Two minutes was all it took. You’re just lucky you were sealed pretty tight.” She started walking around the creature, figuring the best ways to dismember him so that she could be proficient. The tools sprawled about the lab seemed so Neanderthal compared to the beautiful construct of the creature, but she would definitely be able to make due. After getting the go ahead. The student’s nimble fingers were poised just inside of the creature’s main panel, ready to dislodge the power source so that she could begin her eager work on the creature. Just as she was about to pull the plug the creature made a request. She listened silently, her features unmoving and seemingly frozen into place. After several painstaking moments the student replied, “I’ll see what I can do.” The student pulled the power source, watching as the creature’s eye panel went dark and hearing a characteristic soft hum slowly die away.

Over the course of several hours the student had managed to dismantle the entirety of the creature. Against her better judgment, the student had barred the door shut. The lab was littered with thousands upon thousands of parts large and small- Timye was hardly decipherable in the massive organized clutter save for the exoskeleton she had nearly organized on the floor. She seemed as though she was possessed with the project, marveling at the beautifully constructed design and logging silent schematics away. Timye had little to fear, if a machine could fear. Shai knew exactly which part went where; it was part of her gift after all.

She gathered up the main board from Timye’s center panel, seeing as how it had moderate damage she wanted to begin the ultrasonic process on it as quickly as possible. Several other boards were already soaking in a similar solution but hadn’t required the drastic measures for the main board. She quickly snatched up a piece of paper that she’d written notes for spare parts on as she pulled the chair, barring the door out of her way and exited the lab. Not so far away the student entered another lab and flipped on the large, metallic ultrasonic machine- an ultrasonic machine works by using sound waves, it sends pulsing waves through the liquid. The sound waves push the liquid against the chips on the board, and any oxidation on the chips are blasted away. Because the machine sends sound waves, every chip is ensured to be clean, even the underneath the chips. She lowered the main board gently inside and wandered over towards the panel. Her slender fingers whirled across the keyboard and instantly the machine began to fill with isopropyl alcohol. Once filled the machine began to hum as the heater kicked on, aiding in cutting up the oxidation and to help eliminate any debris. Once satisfied she turned on her heel and left the room, heading back towards the main lab.

She sighed heavily back in the comfort of the lab, underneath her arm was a large bag that held replacements to several of the parts needed to repair Timye. She casually tossed the back aside and gingerly approached the gleaming head of the mechanical construct. She lifted it’s heavy bulk, pulling away the LCD screen and examining it. She looked back towards the head in her arm, noticing a light strain under the weight.

”What am I doing,” she sighed, almost ashamed as she peered around the lab, his parts strewn all over the place. “You’d better not screw me over.” She hissed setting the head down and taking the LCD screen over to a cleaner station to begin to repair damage to the crystals.

Post Re: We hold these truths...(For Timye)
Now, Timye was a machine, but he was a marriage of technology and biologic tissue. Machines don't have souls, they can have a consciousness when they have power, but there is nothing there when there is no active power source. Some argue that animals from bugs to blue whales have a soul because they have brains ranging from a nerve ganglion to a highly advanced clump of grey matter. Was it the brain that enabled them to think and problem solve give them their consciousness and a soul? Was it the simple presence of a brain, no matter how primitive? Timye didn't know and frankly didn't care. At this moment there was much more important things being fed through his technologic and biologic processors in his 'brain'. Would he be shut down, would she impair him in some way, would she install some sort of failsafe to keep him from going after her or other students, there were too many negative options. Again, what choice did he have.

With his hand still wrapped around her arm, she replied to his request and then disconnected his power source. The dim glow from behind his eyes faded and his fingers slowly uncurled from around her arm. He slowly fell backwards to the table. Although she pulled the power supply, enough still coursed through him to keep the bare bones systems active for a short time. He watched her stand there as he fell back, and then stared up at the ceiling. You better keep your word, girl. You better keep your word.

This is where the philosophy of a soul and consciousness came into play and separated him from an over engineered clock radio or toaster. Even though he had no power source connected to him, there was still something there, something fleeting. It was almost like a photograph in a tub of developer in a dark room, except the photo would never fully develop. There was something there, something fuzzy, something that gave a glimpse into the larger picture but no real details. He'd experienced this before and couldn't explain it, he figured it was some sort of emergency sensors that ran on an independent power source, but he was never able to locate these in his systems. That was no real surprise, his creator was a brilliant man and designed Timye too well. He never expected Timye to evolve and learn as much as he did, nor did he ever expect him to get jealous when he didn't allow Timye to have his way with the girls. That was when Timye made the decision that the good doctor needed to be removed to increase efficiency and his own desires.

He could feel her moving around the room, he could feel her removing parts from him. He felt these things even though he was strewn about the room. He felt the vibrations from the ultrasonic cleaners, he could smell the solvents and alcohol. He could hear the hum of the heater and her fingers dance across the keyboard. But all the sensations were dulled, like he was in some sort of bubble. Then he heard her voice, the words were muffled, like she spoke through a mouthful of marshmallows. He couldn't discern what exactly she said, but, it seemed to put him at ease, like all of his fears that he would never live to taste her body wash away.

His thoughts began to drift at that point to that very body. It seemed she was going to live up to her end of it, but he knew he'd only live up to part of his. He would bring her the little technological gift, but he'd also have to get her into the N.I.C.E. Labs in order to make sure it functioned properly. The part about harming her, that was true, he had no interest in hurting her. What he did have an interest in was exploring every inch of her body. Oh, he wouldn't be quite so rough with her, as a way of saying thanks, but he did have to see just how well he functioned after her repairs and hopefully, one upgrade.

Post Re: We hold these truths...(For Timye)
The scientist had little problems with occupying her time while she waited for several of the machine’s more minor boards to drip dry from the brief solution she’d put on them. It was rather tedious work, cleaning off electrical chips with an electric toothbrush, but the student hardly minded. She’d already identified particular programming where the mechanical beast’s creator must have gotten either forgetful or lazy. She’d made several modifications to some of his functioning mechanisms, allowing him better control over his limbs. She’d also increased transmission speed by 30% or so, allowing him to process situations faster, which in turn allowed him to react faster.

“Good god what am I doing?” A question Shai had asked herself time and time again throughout this whole, time-consuming ordeal. Here she was taking a potential threat not only to students, but herself, and making it better than it was before. Throughout the whole ordeal she chastised herself for being so damned stupid. She had become very good at blatantly lying to herself to make herself feel better. “It’s job security Shai, you do a good job it only ensures that you have an ally, not an enemy.”

The boards went through several more processes, and these were the most time consuming for the impatient girl. She’d finished major modifications, and a lot of her time was spent creating a non-harmful adhesive that would coat the various boards and power source of the mechanical beast. This would allow him to submerge himself in water without the threat of causing damage. That- and it would prevent rust. ”Jeeze, hand it to him on a silver platter.” she thought bitterly as she began to spray the adhesive over the exoskeleton.

Shai had already reconstructed most of the creature, leaving a few stray panels left off of his form to allow her to return the boards back into their fitted homes. With nothing more than an empty shell, lacking the motherboard and objectives the student flickered on the powersource. She had purposefully left the several tendrils disabled should they choose to malfunction. The head was still missing, and she had taken the liberty of installing a much more appropriate LCD screen for his monitoring purposes. She went about testing the limbs, ensuring they were installed properly, gasping more than once as a hand clenched shut or a leg flinch due to her curiously prodding inside of the main panel entry. Satisfied she had reinstalled everything properly the student disconnected the power.

It had been many long hours, eight or so with her skilled proficiency since she’d begun working on the deviant creature. She was near exhaustion but her insatiable thirst for knowledge kept her thriving. She had reinstalled several of the boards, but gingerly thumbed the main motherboard as it sat next to the nearly completed Timye. Her gaze shifted back from the nearly bare panel and back towards the motherboard. She had a major decision to make. She could eliminate him right here and now. She had several methods in which she could do this with: give him a virus, smash the motherboard, take an axe to him, her possibilities were endless. Though, she couldn’t help but recall the favor. Should she ever need him, he would come in handy to help her vanquish plague. If he turned out to be an ally of hers, he would be a very strong, valuable one.

“And if he turns out to be my enemy…” Shai thought out loud, her eyes lingeringly on the motherboard. She cursed loudly to herself and started to install it. Her fingers shook the entire time. She ran the cord from his main board to the computer at her station, executing a delayed reboot to allow time for all of the boards to resynchronize with one another. The process would take a while, and against her better judgment the student took a seat quite a few paces away, her eyes narrowing on the creature.

So many hours of work left the student weary, and before she even realized it she dozed off into a light pleasant sleep, the soft hum of Timye’s programming lulling her into slumber.
