"We do not do it entirely by our choice," she says with a faint smile, "It is just how it is until I become stronger. You will understand someday."

It was true that Keemari did not teach any translations of texts but his help was indeed a great boost to her power and control. She knows many more spells and have begun learning magic in a more natural way rather than just reading dusty tomes. Perhaps that is how a druid is. Hmph, not like Kanoe will ever admit such a thing to that monster.

"Do not worry of it," she says simply, "That...matter is something my love and I will have to deal with for now. Might as well make use of his teachings and learn what I can. Thank you, I will try to learn as quickly as I can from you so I do not hinder you further."

"True with what you say... but... is it wroth submitting at the feet of someone. Does your pride allow it?" she asks simply, raising a brow to her. She sounded like she was defending the druid, like the woman was tamed and she didn't even realize it.

She scoffs at Kanoe for saying she will learn someday. If she is reduced to such an apprentice, Keemari would have to do it by more force then she could muster. The choice was obvious in her eyes. Maybe he did something to Kanoe and her lover that made them bend. She can't imagine the woman was very happy and from the sound of it, she wasn't happy being put in place as an apprentice.

"You sound as if this monster has you wrapped around his finger. I can't help, but wonder where your pride goes when you defend such a creature for his teachings. They may help your powers, but their weakening your body. It doesn't do much good to you if you fall because a monster is arousing you. How can you possibly use your magic then?"

She sighs once more and leans back against the wall. She hadn’t even met this Keemari and already she knew she just wanted to vanquish him for being so under-handed. She would gladly help Kanoe resist her urges if she actually experienced them herself. But that would be a hollow effort if she didn’t know how to go about it.

"I do not defend him!" she hissed, "It is simply a fact, he is teaching us much about magic. It is true that he is manipulating us and has us...wrapped around his finger. But you do not know what he has done and is capable of doing. All we can do is use him back until I can kill him."

Her hair rises slightly off her shoulders, her mana flowing outwards. She did not want to talk about this. This woman was beginning to piss her off with the lecture. Maybe she should just let this one be ravaged by monsters for a few weeks and see where that pride is then. Taking a long breath, she closes her eyes and forces her mana in check.

"These monsters have existed for a long time," she says coldly, "They are...experienced in breaking women. All my pride does is make it more painful, knowing that no matter how hard I resist my body gives then my mind then... You do not know how it is!"

She pushes her chair and gets up. Her arms are wrapped around herself. They did try to fight him and Claire nearly lost her magic for it. If they resist they lose the one thing they strive for, their magic.

"You need to learn to calm down and LISTEN to what I say. I said it sounds as if... and further more... raising your mana level is unneeded. I was pointing out a simple fact from the way you sounded.”

She wasn't about to get all upset at Kanoe like she was, such rage was unneeded to each other. The woman did need to calm down some, though. It wasn't as if she was accusing her of committing murder. But hearing how Kanoe said she would kill this druid, she purses her lips together.

"Kanoe, I apologize for being suspicious of this monster you say tutors you. But I can't help but feel there's more to it. I won't apologize for what I thought out loud of, but I am sorry for upsetting you... so much."

She shuts the book gently, running her fingers over the runes and pushes the book to the woman since she seemed incapable of accepting her company. She bows her head respectfully and looks at the door for a moment before returning her gaze back to her.

"You can leave if you wish. I won't stop you if you find what I said so disturbing."

"Of course you should be suspicious of him," she said, "There is no reason not to be. But, do not think I am just bending over for that monster. And I am hearing you quite clearly. You said I gave up my pride and kneel at his feet! Do not tell me to calm down when you say those things to me."

Kanoe had every right to be displeased. This new girl was trying to sound like the good guy when the woman made those horrible claims. Tell a woman that they are submitting to some guys feet and of course they will be pissed. Such a cool naive reaction from Taisie was only making the matter worse.

"What just like that?" she frowns, "I don't care about you being suspicious of the monster. You insulted me, made ignorant claims about my situation and instead of apologizing for that you apologize for insulting the monster!? Instead you are just pushing me out the door. If you want me out then say so instead of..."

She grits her teeth, how dare this woman say those things. Who does she think she is anyway?

"That wasn't I said it. And just so you understand... I apologized to you. And I'm not pushing out. If I would then I well... would be. You're very insulted and if it were me I would want my belongings back and leave. I was just making sure where your pride was. You seem to be up in arms about it."

She shrugs herself to her books once more and opened one of the medium sized books. She runs her fingers over it. Kanoe had taken what she said to the extreme, but she really shouldn't have a guessed so angry with her in her own room. Breathing softly through her nose, she brushes her bangs to the side as she looks up to the upset witch.

"I'm sorry for how I said my words and how they were put. I'm not very good of a people person."

She said it sincerely as she could, coming from someone who is extremely cold and apparently makes 'ignorant' claims when she was thinking of the situation. Maybe it was her outspoken nature that made her seem so cold to everyone.

"Hmph!" she huffs.

The dark witch walks back over to the table, pushing her large tome back to the woman. Even if this new girl says such things to her, she needs to keep this one close. There is a repitoire of knowledge and language in Taisie and she intends to use it. Kanoe sits down with a long drawn out sigh.

"You can keep reading my tome.." she says softly then adding with a faint smile, "Because you are not keeping it tonight."

She returns to scribbling notes on her papers while reading the book that was infront of her. Kanoe's pride lashed inside for brushing off this insult but magic was worth much more than her simple ego.

"Wasn't planning on it," she replies, sighing to herself as she brings the tome back into her lap. From her standpoint, the woman was being absolutely ridiculous in misinterpreted words. Was it really such a big deal? Especially when she didn't even say the woman just leaned over and let a monster take her or whatever.

As far as she was concerned, she wasn't about to stoop down to Kanoe's level and let what someone else said get to her. She knew good and well the wanted nothing to do with her now except for maybe using her to translate and teach her some things then toss her off like used trash.

Its not as if the woman didn't return the favor by yelling and hissing in her face already and Kanoe was still mad. She could only chuckle inside in disbelief to how one-minded she was. There was no point in arguing with her over what was said and done. She bites her tongue in making some retorts to Kanoe's rash behavior; oh it would be so easy to thoroughly insult her. But the more she tires it the more teeth bite into her tongue to silence herself.

"When do you... want to learn dialects, Kanoe? Not that I'm going anywhere, but do you want to learn some tonight or another time? It’s up to you since you're the one trying to understand these specific spells..."

One minded could be said both ways for the two women. Taisie did say she kneeled and submitted at Keemari's feet. For someone who has experience with dealing with eastern cultures and a ninja no less, it was shocking that the new girl did not understand the insult she spoke. This woman could not imagine what that wolf has done to her and Clarice. The ignorance was what stung the most. She did not expect such blunt assumptions from this one. It did not matter now. Just like most of her troubles, she will just continue her studies and hope the problem fades from memory. Trying to dispel the memories of being used by the druid, Kanoe nearly missed the question directed at her.

"Hm? Whenever you think is best," she answers, "I would hope we can both learn from these books. I was never skilled in language classes, just never stays in my memory."

She sighs softly as she brushes strands of hair away from her face. Perhaps meeting others is not something meant for her. The witch apparently has soured the mood enough. Kanoe lowers her gaze as she stares at the pages of the still open book, unable to read a word of it.

"I have troubled you enough," she says, "If you wish me to leave I will."

Ignorance could be said both ways for the two women. Taisie was trying to let this misunderstanding go for the sake of their sanity. She really didn't care at all what Kanoe thought of her now and was pretty tempted in making some more 'ignorant' claims. But it was only in her mind she would insult the woman since she seemed to understand how sour the mood was.

"You're fine. Nothing you can do will make me throw you out or anything. You can leave whenever you wish. And as for what time... we can still do something right now if you're still up for it."

Trouble wasn't really how she felt about it. Kanoe almost sounded guilty for exploding in her face, but it still didn't matter none the less. It was done; time to move on with life. She bows to her respectfully before getting up and taking the heavy books to the table. Sitting opposite from the woman she pushes another book towards the woman in hopes she would open and scan this one for a moment.

"It's really up to you on if you want to leave or not. But if you're not going to leave then please look at this book. It may be easier to understand for you."

She closes the book she was reading and sets it aside. Of course Taisie kept a calm emotionless composure. It was becoming somewhat troublesome. Was this how people felt around her when she acts this way? Well they have just met today. Time will tell if the ice will melt away some from this one.

"Thank you," she replies as she accepts the heavy book.

The witch opens the book and begins scanning the pages. She did recognize some of the runes and script but it was still mostly of the runes she could not decipher or understand. Of course that was not enough to deter her. Kanoe did not expect any of this to be easy. It just takes time, alot of time to the point where it can become frustrating.

"It has similar runes as some of my books," she says finally, "Seems I have a long ways to go before I can fully read your books."

"Welcome," she says simply, and slides herself next to the woman, tracing a finger to a sentence that Kanoe seemed to understand. It was her personality to keep people away from her and yet another anti-social person broke through the ice of her cold composure a few times already. But even they had their differences... apparently with arguments as any other human to another would usually.

"I have no doubt you will become accustomed to my dialect in no time," she says with a soft tone, at least softer then her cold and brash voice that Kanoe was probably used to by now, "You at least have a living translator incase you get stumped on something."

Getting up for a moment she grabs some college rule paper and two mechanical pencils. She wasn't much of a bookworm, but when it came to magic she might as well be wearing glasses. Taking her seat once more, she begins writing down what seems to be a bracket of some sorts. Kanji letters and words once could actually speak flowed on the paper quickly as she continues to speak...

"These books have kanji letters that can't be spoken through mouth so you're going to have to learn to say Japanese before you can actually learn kanji. That way you won't have to... rely on me anymore."

It was a bit shocking to hear what sounded like kind reassuring words from Taisie. Kanoe nods in thanks to what the woman said as she follows where Tai was tracing. Hopefully she will not have to pester this one too much once she learns the language herself.

When the woman returns with paper and pencil, Kanoe watches as Taisie drew various kanji letters and symbols. Eastern languages always seemed so complicated. Hundreds of symbols and some mean the same thing. Western languages were not much better with gender specific words and pronounciations. At least she has a good memory, just have to absorb it all first.

"Of course," she says softly, "I will learn as quickly as possible so I do not trouble you as much."

The symbols did look appealing compared to the simple lettering of the english alphabet. Some looked like basic swish marks while others have a large of amount of detail that seems a bit much for just a letter. Kanoe waits patiently as Taisie drew on the paper.

Post Re: Dodge, Dip, Duck, Dive and Dodge (Taisie)
At least the two seemed to be on good terms now. It was amusing how Kanoe thought she was troubling her so much when... oh she supposed it didn't make a difference how she truly felt about this. If the woman wished to learn and leave as soon as possible then who was she to... well it didn't matter any ways.

"Trouble hm?" she asks out loud, as if testing the word to see if it fit. It didn't at all.

佳 and 好 probably didn't look at all familiar to Kanoe, but both meant the same thing-good. 益 which meant benefit; use; good; advantage; gain; and profit... at least the woman was benefiting from this she guessed. She sighs inside that the dark witch couldn't very much offer anything in return. Well, at least she could help Kanoe for whatever it was worth.

"Alright, here's a list of conjugations that you can run over whenever you can. You've probably looked over some Spanish before yes? The whole conjugation into a sentence is basically the same thing with Japanese. You just have to understand the kanji as well. Shan, migoto, byu-tifuru, uruwashii, tsuyayaka, and ka are words you can say but they all eman the same thing-Beautiful. It’s pretty simple basics that you should understand given time. I've written down the alphabet for you. I hope it helps."

She pushes the sheet towards the woman and bows her head to scan over the book the woman was looking at before. Teaching someone a different language; it wasn’t at all like math was for some people. It WAS in a different language. She could only flinch at remembering how hard it was to learn English. So many times did she just want to tear something apart with how confusing it was at such a young age. But at least she learned at a young age. Children were more adept in soaking up information. Kanoe may have trouble fitting in a whole other vocabulary in her mind.

Post Re: Dodge, Dip, Duck, Dive and Dodge (Taisie)
Pretty simple? The woman just said six different words that all mean the same thing. If the witch actually manages to learn this it would be a great boon to her. Though she would have to learn the other languages, written and otherwise, as well. No matter how troubling it was, Kanoe was persistent. She did learn magic on her own afterall.

Kanoe scans the various symbols and the written meanings below them. She will just have to memorize for now until she knows enought to implement it. It was true that she does not know any languages to teach Taisie in return but she could at least share what she knows in that tome that the woman was reading.

The witch did not say anything as she scans the symbols over and over, trying to absorb them and their meanings so she could move on to learning more. She was not even to sentences yet which was going to be far more difficult. Magic follows it's own dialect usually so having a loose understanding may be enough for now.

"Not sure when I am I ready for more," she says finally, "I can memorize this eventually but will I be able to use it?"
