Diana timidly changed in the locker rooms, changing in one of the stalls there in case one of the girls needed release. Luckily none did and so she managed to change unnoticed. Fear and shyness overtook the blond and she considered several times to turn around and not bother. But she knew that she needed this for her own self image.

Stepping through the door of the change room and out into the pool area, she found all of the girls lined up against a wall according to their height. They were all wearing bathing caps and had swimming goggles hanging around their necks. Covering their well formed cleavage, flat tummies and most likely shaven nether regions was a one-piece swim suit. They were all wearing uniform colors, a bright teal wave going down the middle, a light blue wave along the top and a darker wave along the bottom. The swimming suits, although they did cover their bodies, seemed thin and easy to tear. Almost like they had been designed that way.

Diana lowered her head, sighing softly before continuing her seemingly long trek across the pool deck. She felt like all of the girls were scrutinizing against her, watching her for any flaws at all. And her feeble, paranoid little mind kept telling her that they succeeded. Looking up Diana found herself right up beside the wall. She was wearing a red, two piece bikini. She felt embarassed compared to the other girls. All but one were dressed in the uniform. The other stood on the far side of the lineup. Diana looked up and saw the team coach, also Diana's phys ed teacher, step into the pool. "Will the two new recruits to the swim team please step forwards?" She spoke in a monotone voice, her body, although shapely, much more covered up and more densely so then that of the girls before her. Diana took in a deep breath and took a step forward.

Sarah glanced about the large indoor pool room. Her light blue eyes scanned the pool it's self, it's clear blue water shimmering from the lights overhead. To her, the water looked very inviting, especially once she noticed that the water was heated, so she knew it would be warm and cozy. Sarah stood in-line with the other girls; she was at the swimming team tryouts. She was really happy she joined the school when she did, as she cought the tryouts just intime before registration closed.

She would lean herself forward slightly, glancing down the row of girls towards the locker room. Each girl wore the same swimsuit; a one peice suit that covered their bodies well, but, she felt, could have been better in terms of color choice. She didn't worry about it too much however, as she wasn't wearing one at this moment. Apparently they had run out of the swim suits and were in process of ordering more, and because of that Sarah was forced to wear one of her own for the meantime. Her own was a tight red two-peice, with red being her favorite color. She didn't feel embarresed or awkward by it, as she loved showing off her body.

She smiled to herself, and was about to lean back into place, when her soft blue eyes cought the image of another girl approaching the line. She was very attractive, Sarah thought, but she was also wearing a red two peice bathing suit. Her eyes became sharp and narrowed, as her competativeness kicked in for some reason; Perhaps because they were the only ones wearing the same bathing suit. Before she could think about it anymore however she heard the voice of the swimming instructor, a woman whom Sarah still barely knew. "Will the two new recruits to the team please step forward?" Sarah instantly took in a deep breath; her chest expanding outwards in accordance, before slowly sinking back as she exhaled before she finally stepped forward to the edge of the pool. She then quickly stole a glance, interested in seeing who the other was.

The instructor glanced knowingly at the two girls, nodding her head as she remembered the names associated with their faces. She never let them forget how good she was with faces in Gym class. "Varnia, good, about time you came. And... Hmm, I can't say that I've seen you before. What's your name?" The instructor glanced over at the student standing on the far side of the line. Diana followed the instructor's gaze to a girl wearing a similar swim suit. Although the two tops had slight nuances, such as where the straps were and so on, they were essentially the same.

Diana could practically feel the need to compete within the girl. She could tell by her expresion and disposition that she would be at the top of the team in no time. At the same time, Diana began to scrutinize her own abilities within her mind.

Sarah's eyes widened somewhat when she realized that the other girl whom also wore a red suit was the other try out. Her soft blue eyes narrowed again before a small smile came across her lips. Her feeling of competative spiked. Again, however, the voice of the instructor broke her thoughts and she quickly glanced back towards her. " My name is Sarah, ma'am. Sarah Lang. " She finished with a smile, her voice soft and casual.

Inside her mind, Sarah wondered how good of a swimmer this other girl was. It was true that she didn't look like much, but looks could be deciving. With minimal effort she would reach down, letting her fingers grasp upon the fabric of her lower-suit to adjust it slightly.

Diana glanced over at the girl opposite her while the instructor looked over a piece of paper on her clip board. The girl's body was well shaped, her breasts ample, just barely contained by the fabric of her swim suit. Diana looked down at her own cleavage, feeling herself lose confidence in herself. The instructor cleared her throat and Diana looked up at her with limpid, aqua-blue eyes.

"I'm sorry, girls, but there's only one spot left on the swim team. You'll have to try out for it." The instructor smiled gleefully at the prospect of putting the girls under scrutiny. The ones lined up behind them giggled and chattered quietly. At a stern clearing of her throat by the instructor, they became quiet. She raised her hand towards the pool. "We will have a three part swimming competition. Sarah will choose the first, Diana the second and I the third. The rest of the team will give each of you either a thumbs up or down. We add up the thumbs up at the end and whomever has the most, wins. Now, Sarah, pick your event."

Sarah would glance back up then, hearing the instructors voice once more. " As I figured, just one spot left.. " She thought to herself. With another turn of her head, her soft eyes glanced over to the other girl for a moment. Sarah couldn't help but allow thoughts of how attractive the girl was enter her mind, but she knew it wouldn't weight any in their swimming.

She found herself smiling to herself when the instructor told her she could pick the first event. " Well, ma'am. " Sarah started, her voice hinting her pondering. " I guess we could do front stroke? " Sarah finished, her blue eyes were settled upon the instructor.

Diana nodded her head as she heard the swimming form that they would need to perform. Diana walked over to the edge of the pool and straightened herself. She took in a deep breath and exhaled again as the brunette walked up beside her. Diana raised her arms experimentally and stretched her muscles, lifting herself up on her tippy toes as she did. After Diana lowered herself, she looked over at the instructor. The woman nodded with her at the pool. "What are you waiting for? Get in, you two. When I blow my whistle, start swimming. This is not a race, we'll be looking at speed as well as technique."

Diana absent mindedly nodded her head. She was secretly watching Sarah through the corner of her eye. The nubile young brunette's body was attractive, Diana could not deny it. She blushed softly as she returned to looking at the other end of the pool. Diana lowered herself into the cool water timidly, her reflexes immediately taking in and she began to tread water.

Sarah, now steping up to the edge of the body of water that was the pool, would let her eyes leave the instructor and glance at the girl now beside her. She wasn't too close, but close enough for Sarah to make out the rest of the details on her appearence. She shifted herself slightly, thinking, before glancing down at the pool. "I will not be beaten.." She said in her mind, and with that she pushed all thoughts about the girls beauty out of her head and moved into her more.. serious mind set.

Following the girl, once the instructor said so, she too lowered herself into the pool. A little colder than what she's used to, but she too pushed that thought out of her head and stretched her arms and legs a bit. After a moment or so the water felt very comfortable. "Technique, and speed.. got it." She mumbled, stealing one last glance at the other female before moving into her launch stance.

"Good luck." She would say loud enough for only the girl to hear. "You'll need it."

Diana smiled over at the girl and nodded her thanks. She took her own launch position and took in a deep breath. The sharp whistle blew and in a rush of movement, both girls were off. Sarah's reaction was faster, she started a few fractions of a second before Diana had. The blond had not realized this of course, and kicked with all of her strength. The strain on her legs was immense and she could feel her lunges beg for more air. Her heart thumped in her ears, the nerves alone shortening her breath.

She felt relieved as she reached the other end. In a fluid motion, she put her legs to the wall, flipping her body around and launched back to the other end. This time she was a fraction of a second ahead. The two had caught up, going at nearly the exact same speed. It was the last three meters that would decide this. Then Diana remembered what the instructor had said. Speed and technique. Diana straightened her legs, her feet and her body and began to slow down a little as she swam less frantically. Sarah reached the end three seconds before Diana, but the blond was sure that this would not decide the contest.

Sarah pushed with much effort against the wall of the pool, after firmly planting her feet against it. She noticed she was able to do this quicker than the other girl, and immidetly began to swim gracefully with a bit of speed since she was already ahead. "Speed.. and technique.." She thought to herself again. She enjoyed being in water, it was as if she was born to swim. She enjoyed how the water would caress every part of her body, as well as tug slightly at her breasts.

By the time she had reached the wall, and spun back around however, the other girl had caught up. She decided then to sacrifice a bit of her form only to increase her speed momentarily to gain the lead again, and once she had she slowed down. She tilted upwards, bringing her body forward as she braced herself against the side of the pool. A smile of triumph was clearly upon her lips, as she watched the other girl come closely behind her. She hung there with one hand on the edge of the pool, with her feet planted back against the wall, awaiting the next challenge. Her sky blue eyes positioned themselves onto the girl, studying her form. She noted how she liked the water lapping at her body, but quickly pushed this thought away as she turned to the instructor.

"Not bad." She would say, staring away from her. Her voice was serious, yet held a small softness to it.

Diana reached the end huffing and puffing. She fought as quietly as she could to catch her breath. Her chest heaved, her lunges ached as they tried to take in as much air as possible. Diana closed her eyes as she worked to breathe, calming her body back down in preparation for the next round. Oh, right, it's my choice now. Diana started to think about the kind of swimming technique she was good at. The backstroke came to mind. She thought about it and finally decided on it when the instructor spoke shrilly. "Alright, enough of a nap. Varnia, what's the next technique?"

Diana spoke softly between huffs. "The backstroke." The girls lined up against the wall looked about ready to burst into laughter at the ease of the technique. It seemed that it must of been one of the team's strongest techniques. It was deemed an easy and almost unnecessary skill to practice. A sharp whistle sounded and the two were off. Diana had practiced this form to near perfection, swimming swiftly and elegantly.

Sarah's soft blue eyes remained on her for a moment. She watched her body closely, wondering why she was breathing so hard. Out of practice? Perhaps, but before she could ponder on it any further the sound of the instructors voice broke her train of thought. Sarah's eyes moved and glanced at her, as she asked the other girl for the next competition. " I wonder what she'll pick.. " Sarah thought to herself, but just as she had finished it, her question was answered.

"Backstroke.. " She repeated in her mind. She -hated- the backstroke. She is good at it, yes, but she was never able to get used to it let alone perfect a good technique for it. She frowned, but quickly let it fade so the other girl couldn't see. " I wonder if she's any good at it.. "

The girls moved into position, their feet pressed against the wall of the pool while they were curled up slightly, hanging onto the edge of the pool. The whistle blew, and they were off with two very large splashes. The other girl instantly took the lead, despite Sarah pushing her hardest. Even at her best she couldn't propel herself enough to match the other's speed. " Damn it! " She said under her breath, even though it was drowned out by the splashes. A moment later, she swirled around as she reached the opposite side of the pool.

Diana was amazed at the lead she was gaining. She was starting to feel slightly guilty. What if a position opened up later in the team and this girl wasn't allowed to join because of this one incident? Diana felt her legs slow down slightly, but her arms continued to pump with the same odacity. When she reached the other end, she waited a fraction of a second longer then she had to and found the other girl catching up to her. She kicked off with only a half second lead, her legs not even propelling her as hard as they could of. The water ran over her body like a river, intimately slipping between her cleavage and legs. This was one of the reasons she loved swimming more then taking a shower. You got wet everywhere at once, instead of a small part of your body at a time. Finally, her hand clenched the end of the pool. The other girl was a second behind her, her own hand clutching the edge. Hopefully she hadn't noticed Diana's mercy.

"Good job, girls. No break this time, we've wasted enough time with this. You will both be doing the breast stroke." The instructor looked down at the girls as they took their positions. Diana looked over at Sarah and flashed her a smile that suggested 'may the best racer win.'

Sarah clung to the edge of the pool with one hand, catching her breath in the most subtle way she could. She had always knew the backstroke was her weakest stroke, but she was still agitated at herself for losing. Sarah was very competative in everything she does, even if it's something she's trying for the first time. Right now, though, she was slightly pissed.

She lifted her head up, though, as she heard the voice of the instructor, and by the time she had finished a smile had crawled across her soft lips. The Breast Stroke was her most practiced stroke. Her anger she had before seemed to simply vanish. This other chick was good, she'll give her that, but she won't be holding back at all this time. She straightened up, with her back against the wall of the pool. Closing her eyes she would relax, enjoying the water lapping at her frame for the moment. Finally, though, she opened her sky-blue eyes and found them gazing at the girl, whom gave her a smile. She had almost blushed, but quickly frowned and turned her head away. Moments later, the whistle blew and off she kicked.

She propelled herself as hard as her legs could do, noting that she was already ahead of the other by a second, and with that she shot out her arms and fanned them out, cupping her hands to give her more push against the water. She too enjoyed the feeling of the water flowing over her, inbetween her legs and cleavage as well as through her toes. Soon, Sarah reached the other side.

The breast stroke had also been one of Diana's greatest strengths as a growing swimmer. She had found it ideal for exercising, so she had used it as her standard stroke. With this came many years of practice and an easy rhythm to slip into. Almost without thinking, Diana began to do the technique near flawlessly, in fact it was almost as good as Sarah's. Almost. But it seemed that luck was with Diana that day, because she had somehow reached the other end first. Diana did not know how, but she took advantage of the situation and flipped herself around as quickly as she could and took off. Her legs were aching, her arms felt like weights. Diana knew she could win this if she pushed herself. But this new girl, she clearly needed the prestiege more then Diana. She already had friends and this was just a bonus for her. A half second of hesitation brought Sarah up ahead. Diana continued to swim but not as quickly nor passionately as earlier.

She was tired and was just trying to reach the other end. When she got there, she found Sarah already hopping out of the pool. Diana's blue gaze went up to the instructor. "Sorry, Varnia, but Sarah has got you beat. Try again next year after you get some more practice. I hear the beach is a great place to practice." The instructor grinned evilly at Diana. Diana frowned and furrowed her eye brows in response.

"I'll keep that in mind. Thanks." She hopped out of the pool herself and took a moment to catch her balance. Standing up, she waved goodbye to the team and went off to change into her school uniform. Behind her, she could hear the instructor shouting things at her now complete team. Diana headed straight to the locker room to change out of her wet swimming costume. She peeled the top off of her cleavage, allowing her breasts to spill out of it freely. She sighed as she gently cupped the left one, then released it and bent down, sliding off the bikini bottom. Now in the nude, she bent over and began to pull out her normal underwear and clothes from her bag. She began to slide her elegant white panties up her long slender legs.
