Alucard wandered silently atop the bookshelves that night, holding a book of its own. Suddenly the alien heard some activity. The sound of tumbling books brought Alucard to Shai, who was apparently in the mood for some late-night reading. A bit late for a midnight snack, Alucard thought, but welcome nonetheless.

The alien followed after her, smirking to itself, all but invisible due to its camouflage. Finally Alucard saw her make her way to one of the stations. Knowing that she had nowhere to go from there, the alien decided to wait for her. It had noted her choice in books, and Alucard observed that its own book seemed to be of a similar topic. The alien casually dropped the book onto a table outside the station, face-open to a section on dretches, glabrezus, and vrocks, all terrible demons from the depths of the Abyss, and waits for Shai to venture outside again.

Alucard licked its lips as it observed the student. Alucard watched her as she flipped through ten different dragons, a plethora of devils, the ettercap, and the ettin. The pages were glossily illustrated, with information about how each could participate in combat, and what tactics and abilities they possessed. Oddly enough, it used numeric notation frequently to describe said abilities.

Before she could look too much closer, Alucard dropped its camouflage and climbed down to the floor. "Doing some late-night reading, I see," Alucard said softly.

Alucard smiles. "You might say that. Actually, I was looking for a good bedtime snack." The alien takes a deep breath through the slits that served for nostrils, situated a few inches over its upper lip. Alucard's glowing yellow eyes grew somewhat brighter. "Mmm, something in here smells tasty."

"Oh, wait, let me guess," Alucard says as the woman stands, "are you a prefect, deary? They do look so amusing when they act like they've got authority around here and all that." The alien licks its lips and leans its massive head closer.

"You look tasty enough to be a prefect, at least."

Alucard wondered how deeply its barb would sink in, and how the student might respond to it. While it was true that Alucard would not harm the student, the alien always found it more fun to let them jump to their conclusions - it just seemed so entertaining.

"Ah," Alucard said in mock enlightenment. "Congratulations. I'll be sure and remember that, miss Head Girl, once I've eaten you." The alien was rather enjoying this, holding back its sadistic laughter for a later moment.

The monster watched as Shai got on the table, smirking to itself. "Well, as amusing as you are, deary, I think it's time for you to amuse me from the inside now." Alucard reached a squarish hand in her direction, ready to snatch her up.

Alucard silently commended Shai for her ability to dodge its attempt to snatch her soft body off of the table, and again a second time. While it was true that Alucard was not the most dextrous creature on Shokushu, its size often decieved its victims into thinking it was slow or clumsy.

Her statement about Alucard paying made the alien laugh derisively at her. A tongue as thick as Shai's head flailed about inside the cavernous maw as the alien laughed at the Head Girl.

"We'll see, snack, we'll see." The alien faced the trapped girl, jaws open wide to accept Shai's entire body inside.

The alien reached for Shai with both of its massive, squarish hands, attempting to grasp her soft body in its clutches. "I take it back, deary... you do look tasty enough to be Head Girl." Alucard's tongue lashed out of its mouth and rubbed against her, soaking her in saliva. "Ooh, you are delicious!"
