Yuki was just getting paid for a bounty she turned in. "Alright, 25,000 credits." she said, walking away tossing up her chip that has access to her account and catching it in her hand, "Now to check the boards for my next target." As she headed down she saw on the holomonitor that was showing the news that Alucard apparently has struck again, the details were not disclosed but apparently the bounty was raised from the 200,000 to 1,000,000. "Hmm I think I'll take that job." Yuki said to herself and headed out to the docking bay.

She entered her ship and accessed her computer, going on the information in the database on Alucard's regular areas of operation as well as his last known location. "Okay time to go. A.D.D. Control, this is Yuki Cross in the freighter Silent Runner, requesting permisson to depart." she said, still going through her final checks before disengaging from the station. Soon a reply came back saying "Silent Runner, this is A.D.D. Control, you are cleared to depart, follow course S37 for exit. Good hunting Yuki." After she got that transmission she disconnected from the station and took the route the operator told her to take. As she left the route a large transport ship passed her, once it passed she started her caclulations for the jump. It only took a few minutes to have the drive spin up and the navcom punch in the coordinates, she then initiated the jump drive, causing her ship to disappear into the sea of stars.

Alucard looked at the bounty postings on the Holonet with a frown. One MILLION credits? What had the alien done to get such a large bounty? It was then that the massive monster recalled last month, when it had interrupted some sort of official procession to feed itself. The alien shook its head. The masses apparently got very touchy when one ate their leaders, even if one gave them back afterward!

Well, with that large a price on its head, Alucard was certain to have a few bounty hunters after it. Depending on how much they actually knew about the alien, this could be a good thing or a bad thing. Nonetheless, the alien was not too concerned, though. A little while of laying low would lower the size of the bounty, and the alien could certainly handle those who were unprepared to deal with Alucard.

As Yuki's ship headed towards its destination, she went over the files she pulled up on Alucard, unfortunately there wasn't much to go on, except what type of creature he is along with his past record; smuggling, kidnapping, extortion, etc. Nothing that would warrant such a high price for his head. "Hmm, I guess something that happened recently and the A.D.D. won't disclose it, must be something pretty bad then." she said, drinking a pouch of juice, then pulling it from her mouth looking at it, "Well, one thing after this payday I won't have to put up with cheap rations anymore." As she puts the file downs he leans her chair back seeing that on her flight-clock she had at least five more hours until she arrived in-system. She set an alarm to go off in four hours and gets a little shuteye, letting the auto-pilot do the rest of the work for her.

It seemed, however, that Yuki would be woken prematurely; the Silent Runner was being hailed by another ship, what appeared to be a modified Gallofree Yards Maka-Eekai L4000. The freighter had been painted jet-black with unfamiliar crimson insignias on it.

Yuki awoke to the sound of the hailing message beeping, she raised her seat and looked over her control console. "This is the freighter Silent Runner, please reply." she said, waiting to get an answer back. While trying to raise the ship that signaled her, she preped her ship's shields so she can have them up at a moments' notice. "I repeat, this is the Freighter Silent Runner, to the ship that sent the hailing signal please respond."

"This is the Night Jewel," answered a feminine voice in a cool, calculating tone. "I understand that you are a bounty hunter, of sorts?"

Without giving her a chance to answer, the voice sounded again. "I am as well. I'm betting you're after Alucard. A lot of hotshots are."

The Night Jewel did not appear to be raising its shields, despite the fact that Yuki had raised hers.

As she recieved the signal back she was a bit stunned by the person's voice on the comm, it wasn't the fact she didn't recognize it but how they know her. "Who is this, identify yourself!" she said, wanting to know how they know about her and how she was hunting for Alucard. "I repeat, identify yourself immediately." She raised her ship's shields and charged the plasma cannon, the only weapon her ship has which was little more than a pop-gun in space combat.

"No need for concern, friend," the voice said. "Consider me on your team. My name is Alice." The modified Maka-Eekai still had not raised its shields.

"I have a bit of a tip for you. A lot of the bounty hunters are checking Jaebrin for Alucard, since that was where it was last seen. I, however, believe that Alucard is actually on Jaebrin's moon."

Yuki was a bit hesitant, not willing to trust the person on the other end of the comm channel, but pulled up a recent report that seemed to confirm her information. "Okay, looks like you may be right." she said as she backed her ship away and had the navcom plot a course for Jaebrin's moon, making it so she will come out of jump-space just a few hundred kilometers away from the planetoid. As her drive spun up she looked back at that ship and wondered, was that an information specialist for the A.D.D., an alien that has a vendetta against Alucard, she will never know.

Her ships drive powered up, causing her engines to go from their regular yellow hue to a near white, then her ship disappeared. Minutes later she was in orbit of Jaebrin's Moon, right over the souther pole of the planet.

Alice watched with a smile as the Silent Runner sped away. She waited a minute before following after her.

Jaebrin's moon was grey, with the occasional patch of bright blue throughout. Jaebrin's moon was far smaller than the planet it orbited; its population was probably less than one million.

As the agent's ship slowly descended, Yuki found herself being hailed by the moon's automated systems, welcoming her and instructing her where to land.

Slowly decelerating as she made her atmosphere ingress, she was keeping the ship steady as she followed the guide beacon down to the surface. As she approached she saw what looked like an old spaceport around an outpost. At 50km to the surface she extended the landing gear, and fired the engines hard to declerate even more. As the ship landed on the platform the ship went down a few meters then rose back up a couple, the landing gear's shocks taking the weight of the ship.

"Okay, down on the surface, now to find this guy." she said, as she unbuckled from her pilot chair and opened up her weapons' cache. She took out her extendable staff and stun pistol, holdstering them where she normally does, and then headed to the hatch leading out of her ship.

A handful of spaceport officials awaited her as she exited her ship. "Salutations," a crimson-skinned man said, dressed in the outfit of a customs officer. "My name is Perr. I'm afraid we need to search your ship for contraband," he says softly, flashing his badge as he does so.

She was somewhat suprised by the officials showing up when they did but she was courteous to them. "Sure, no problem, only thing you should be aware about is a combat power-armor suit in there plus the weapons for it, other than that everything is in order." she said, "By the way, I'm Yuki Cross, a bounty hunter with the Alien Defense Directorate. I'm here looking for information on a criminal, can we speak in your office Mr. Perr." She pulled out her A.D.D. identification badge to show him.

"Don't worry," Perr said, "I imagine an affiliate A.D.D. such as yourself would have a permit for the armor and weapons, right?" The red-skinned humanoid smiled softly. "Of course we can speak in my office, Miss Cross." His head bowed a little, and he directed her down a hallway and to his office.

Perr's office was the last room on the left side of the hall. As the doors whooshed open, Yuki could smell a light cinnamony aroma. A small, sculpted candle burned on a tiny stand that hovered in midair by a desk, where a pile of papers sat in a neat stack, as well as a nameplate that proclaimed to all who looked that the desk belonged to Perr.

"Nice little office you have here." Yuki said, complementing his decor. "Okay let me get straight to the point, I am looking for this being." She says as she lays down a holographic unit, displaying the profile of Alucard for Perr to see, "He's wanted by the A.D.D. for several crimes, I am looking for any information that could help me track him down."
