"It's just... my girlfriend kind of... disappeared. Since then, I've been so lonesome."
Did I just use Sondra to score? That was low, even for me. I'd have to apologize for it when she returned. She would return. She had to return.

"Oh my, that's terrible! I didn't know..."

Emily felt so sorry for the girl. Never had she lost someone like that.

Emily moved foreward and hugged the girl.

I hugged back, a warm and affectionate hug.
"I think she'll come home... her ex vanished once too, and so we promised we'd come back to one another."

"That's... that's beautiful..." Emily found herself almost crying for this gerl she didn't know.

"Without her, I'm so alone though."
It was true... I had burning desires and she fulfilled them. Without her, my desires weren't satisfied.

"Is there anything I can do?" she said, forgetting both Linny's earlier behavior and the full imlications of what she was saying.

This was walking a rather unlovable line between truth and lies I had no pride in walking, but I did what it took.
"I miss the feeling of a kiss. Of lips meeting my own, of feeling so loved and cared for... I know, it's too much to ask, but that's what I long for."

A kiss...

Emily thought a kiss was something very intimate. Could she share such a thing with a stranger?

Emily pulled slightly away from Linny and looked into her eyes.

"I knew it was too much... I'm sorry, Emily."
I said quietly, longingly.

"Um... Well..." she began, eyes cast down bashfully, "If it would help, i guess I could..."

I closed my eyes and leaned over to her, mouth opened slightly.

Emily panicked slightly. What was she letting herself do?

But... this girl was so sad....

She leaned foreward, lips gently pressing against those of her new friend.

I kept the kiss hgentle and sweet. This girl would be too easily scared off to progress quickly, but it did feel good to be kissed, to have it feel like I mattered.

She held the kiss for several seconds. Longer, in fact, than she intended.

She slowly broke the kiss, moving her face only a few inches away.
