Maria sticks out her tongue, grinning and shaking her head. "Oh, come on...I don't believe that. It's like...you're trying to hide under all of that! You shouldn't have to...you're cute! You should embrace that, get out there and be known. You'll make more friends that way, and it'll give your confidence a boost, I guarantee it."

She sipped from her tea as Maria spoke mind going over what was said for a time. She stayed silent for a few moments before she'd react.

"What's wrong with hiding? I mean... it's not like I don't have any friends... and well maybe but still I don't see how wearing less will get me more friends..."

she was a constantly anxious person when it came to being social in any manner it seemed, even with one person in the room she was having obvious troubles.

Maria blinks a bit, tilting her head. "I'm not saying dress like a slut, hun..." She says softly, though a bit of color rises in her cheeks. She knew how she must look. "Still...you don't need all of those layers, is all I'm saying. And you don't have to hide. I'm not going to hurt you...I doubt any of the girls here would."

Raven looked down at herself again topping off her glass of tea before finally replying to Maria.
"Well... maybe one less layer... I guess maybe six is over doing things a little..."

Alright perhaps she was more shy than one could ever guess just by looking.

"but uhm... well... I'mm worried what people might say..."

Maria giggles softly, offering Raven a smile. "They won't say anything. Trust me." She stands up, moving closer to Raven and offering her a hand. "How about this...I won't force you to take off all of those layers, but let me find an outfit for you. I have plenty of extra clothes in my room...you can try it on, and if you like it, you can keep it. and if you don't...no harm, and I'll be the only one that saw it. That sound good?"

drinking and finishing her tea quickly she'd think before standing from her bed and gently noding.
"A...a...alright."
she stammered blushing at the thought.
"But, not in here, my roommate might get in any moment now so... uhm... your dorm then..."

Maria nods in agreement, smiling and taking Raven's hand. It's not far to her own dorm, and she unlocks the door to usher the other girl inside, quickly shutting the door behind her and moving toward the closet. "Okay, so...we don't want to put you in anything too skimpy, so...hmm...where to begin..."

Raven entered the girl's dorm looking about a few moments. it didn't look all that different save the missing bits of science around it. She had in all honesty expected the room to be pink or something and have something disturbing all around given the way her new friend dressed though she would never say that out loud.
"Nothing even remotely skimpy..."

Her dorm room was, in fact, quite tidy. A few stuffed animals here and there, but nothing too cutesy. Of course, there was a british flag stretched across one wall, and a few movie posters...the girl had a thing for vampires, it seemed, judging by the posters themselves. All were of vampire movies. She grins, then, pulling out a rather nice top. It wasn't skimpy like hers, but it wasn't the ultimately prudish sort either. "Here, try this on."

she blushed softly looking at the shirt that was offered now. she blushed softly looking down at herself then at the shirt itself. it certainly looked... revealing, by Raven's standards at least.

"I take it I have to well... uhmm... take off some of the layers... how \far down would you say?"

she swallowed hard now looking to her hoping to not have to remove much but, expecting the worst.

"All of it, I'm afraid, darling." Maria says with a reassuring smile. "You can change in the bathroom if you like...I won't peek, I promise." She winks, laughing softly.
"Really, try it...you'll look lovely. I swear."

Raven whimpered slightly looking down to her clothes.

"Can I at least keep on my underwear?"

She asked deciding to look at how thin the garment was and indeed it was thin compared to anything she had ever worn.

"Oh! Of course! I didn't mean you had to get naked." Maria laughs, grinning at the girl. "And besides...you don't have to do it in front of me...no need to get embarassed." She hmms, digging out a pair of jeans and holding them out to Raven as well. "Here, these too."

Raven took the jeans softly sighing to Maria offering a weak nod now as she moved to the bathroom locking the door out of habit. she took a few moments as she undressed from her. Roughly eight minutes later she''d look in the mirror at herself. the shirt was a bit baggy on her given her obviously smaller chest, the jeans however were just a little small on her. she turned to the side and blushed slightly noticing how much they accentuated her bottom, the lines of her panties obvious.

"Uhmm... Alright..."

she stammered as she unlocked the door peeking out face flushed.

"Don't laugh alright?"

she'd say stepping out barefoot for maria to see.

"I won't, I promise." She says softly, nodding. As Raven steps out, she can't help but smile, hardly laughing as she moves closer. "Oh, you look adorable!" She exclaims, clapping her hands together. "I'm sorry that they don't fit quite right, but...obviously, we're not the same size. Still...it looks good. Very lovely!"
