Once more Dendrite's hunger drove the alien forth from its forest lair, strong tentacles pulling the sleek monster over the darkened ground...its familiar destination, the girls' dormitory on Shokushu Campus. The grayish-green creature pressed itself against the wall, empathic senses probing. It slithered along, sensing the girls within engaged in studying, sleep, relaxation or more intimate pursuits...and finally Dendrite paused at one window, sensing a girl it had not 'met' before...

Dendrite swarmed over the sill of the open window and slithered into the room. Its single blue eye was trained on the girl; it could sense pleasure seeping from her already. Dendrite laughed. "No, 'Hell' doesn't exist--I'm merely from another planet." The tendrils coiled around Katy's arms, rubbery-gray skin sliding against hers, holding her prisoner. "Mm...good evening, little one. And what are you up to tonight?"
