Distinguishing features: Her eyes are often perceived as distinguishing. The wild, untamable nature of her hair is another.

Background: Helena was an only child, who spent her formative years with her abusive, drunken father. She cannot remember much of her early childhood, suffice to say that just trying to remember causes pain and an overwhelming feeling of sadness. She's not quite sure why children's services took her away from her father, whom she loved very much, but it has left her with a fear of abandonment. She spent the rest of her childhood with her maternal grandparents, who always told her that they'd been "fighting for her" ever since "the horrible accident". She didn't like the idea of this "fighting" business, or of this "horrible accident" business, and never felt inclined to ask for details. Her grandparents doted on her, and she lead a rather sheltered lifestyle. She tried hard in school, in order to avoid attention. Her plan did not work very well. Due to her disconcertingly quiet nature, her grandmother thought that "some time away from home would do her good", and subsequently put in her application for Shokushu School.

Psychological Profile: A letter was attached to the application, apparently from her childhood therapist. "Relatively stable, although the subject does display an alarmingly angry streak when provoked. However, provocation must be rather extreme to create an effect. The subject also displays mild introvert tendencies, and will generally not speak until spoken to. I wish Helena the best of luck with her application. Sincerely, Dr. Charlancer."

Personality: Initially she comes across as a shy and retiring type of person, however if approached and/or interested by someone/thing, she will become quite animated and talkative.

Virgin? No. She's not sure where she lost it, she just knows thats what her doctor told her.
