It had taken him little over a week to whittle down the options before him. It had been times like this that he had enjoyed having nodes since they were capable of doing the leg work for him in his selection. He had weeded out the students as he pondered to himself which one had seemed to fit his selective process well.

Taking a couple of days he had finally settled upon Ellie thinking that she harbored the essence of what he was in fact looking for. He had been quite picky and patient in most of his dealings though it had been best that he had quelled his boredom by participating in the studies that the lab had been running.

Scientists had sought him out telling him about a little aphrodisiac that they had created and had been in the processing of testing before letting the drug creep into the streets and profiting from their labors. But first they had pondered how useful the substance had been. Was it susceptible at all? Where tentacles more effective than phallus'? These questions and more had lingered on the minds of the drug's creators and Aegir could simply test all of these functions for them and perhaps more.

They had let him chose his own victim for this process finding out that the beast was quit picky. While in fact he did do things by spur of the moment he had been directed to act impulsively from time to time by the impulses directed by the whims that the consumed human minds had issued upon him. Normally he had hunted through the ample use of his nodes directing them to follow or look out for particular matters through their telepathic abilities.

So he took his time in the selection process under the understanding that he would bring a victim to the labs for this testing.

Today he had followed the simplicity of her schedule. Knowing that she had PT today he had elected to mask himself in a simple illusion of a female student. A simple snatch and grab could suffice unless he could think of another way to isolate her in the process of slithering towards the fields.

Ellie with her gym shoes in her hand walked up to a bench and slipped off her black flats. Adjusting the lasses on her shoes first, she slipped them on and tied them. She then walked toward the soccer field even though class wasn't going to start for a few more minutes, so the field was completely deserted.
She plopped down at the left field goal her feet tucked neatly under her, while she picked at the freshly cut emerald green grass, waiting for class to start.

Perfect. He couldn't have had wished for better if he had been asked as he had found her alone upon the field prior to class. His only debate that he had in mind had been whether to snatch her up and make off with her or to lure her away.

He had opted for the former rather than the later as it had acquired less effort on his part.

Running up too her she panted out a single word. "HELP!"

Her hair, a raven black had been disshovelled as she panted out the single word. While normally he would elect to calm people through the illusions that he conjured Aegir's aims had been different this time around. He didn't want to isolate her as much as he had need of moving her, getting her closer to the destination that he had in mind.

"SALLY BROKE HER LEG I THINK" the words had been yelled with a measure of excitement in her voice as she had yelled out her statement, slurring words together as she had pointed in the direction of the labs. "Help me get her to the nurses office."

Ellie’s eyes went wide in shock,”How did she manage to do that?” she asked her voice concerning. She then quickly stood up, and pulled down her skirt a bit, and ran toward where the girl was pointing at before. I can believe she broke her leg, Ellie thought to herself in disbelief.

She had not responded as if the emergency had taken on all her focus. Ignoring the question she merely ran off in the direction that she had pointed leading the way. Aegir had bleed his mind into her own sensing what Ellie had thought as they tranversed the field heading towards what had to be his favorite or rather preferred hunting grounds of the forest. He had considered that once a little ways in and further from the school before he would drop away the veil that he had been wearing.

Ellie continued following the girl as she lead her into the forest. I've never been in here before, and I bet she fell off of a tree or something Ellie thought looking around for her, the place was sort of giving her the kreeps. But she had to help Sally, so felt so bad she hated it when she broke bones it was very very painful.

He had smiled inwardly as he continued to race through the forest finding the over hang of tree and their leaves blocking out most of the sun that had fluttered in to the soil beneath. The gloom had made it far easier to see after all.

Projecting an illusion of a fallen Sally he point out into the distance. "There!"

Aegir had pointed as he ran towards the fallen girl that had been in the midst of clutching her wounded leg and crying to herself as tears streamed down her cheeks. Indeed she had been near a fallen log and probably fell off of it or tripped over it.

Ready to drop his illusion Aegir raced to the side of the girl in question.

Ellie ran over toward sally and looked at her ankle it indeed looked broken ,"Come on lets get you to the nurse," she said trying to help her up.

Aegir had been delighted with himself as he neared the fallen girl. His masquerade fell away melting away the illusions that had masked him, while the injured student faded away into nothingness.

At once he had found himself preying upon her naivity as he strucdk fast hoping that he would catch hyer off guard. And if that failed he always had a contingency plan to fall back upon.

His tentacles streamed out toward her in order to grasp her nearest limbs, finding them to be her arms. Her screams would probably go unheard here and if they were heeded then he figured that he would deal with that if and when the situation arose.

"What where did she go?" Ellie said conpletely confused. She felt somethings presence so she turned and say tentacles going toward her so she back up so they couldn't touch her she was to stunned by all that had happen in the last few minutes to scream and she figured no-one would hear her so why waste her breath. "W-who are you?" she studdered and continued backing up.

His eyes had seemed to appraise her as she deftly dodged his attack. Initially he had been going to wait until her hands had been full before dropping the illusion but no bother. Right now the impulse had been strong in taking her there, to hell with the labs and their fiendish experiments though such thoughts had to come from t.he minds that he had consumed.

He had found the past being the past as he slithered forward to keep her in range of his tentacles but it had been hard for him to ignore her as she had voiced her question, a question that he had elect to answer as his thoughts swam into her mind as he lacked the vocal cords to produce speech and used telepathy to communicate,

Aegir, he had answered as his tentacles writhed about him like some sort of demonic halo. He pondered if he should lash out at her again or fall back upon his back up plan that had relied on his illusions. He had elected to do the former as he lashed out with his tentacles in an effort to secure a hold upon her.

Ellie backed up more dodging his tentecles and ran deeper into the darkening forest until she was completely lost. She then pulled herself up onto a tree out of sight of anyone below, and stayed hiden behind the green leaves.

For a moment he had pondered making matters simpler for him as she had run from him. He had been no speed demon that much had been assured as he had slowly made his way along the earth. He had been graced with an excellent ability in climbing though but she had not known that or he would have doubted that she would ascend on of the trees in the forest,

He gazed up at her and seemed to watch her for a long moment as a great multitude of thoughts streamed through his mind. Yes simple, he had thought to himself as he gazed up at her. While he loathed doing so he could always summon forth his ability to control minds 9f humans.

It required a little more effort than his illusions though he found himself sifting through her mind as her uttered forth a single command into her mind. It being of course to come with him, He figured that he would lure her back to the labs, restrain her, then get on with the experiment.

Of course this had been provided that he could keep his tentacles to himself in the interim.

Ellie still up in the trees saw the thing again please don't see me she thought to herself hopefully. She then suddenly felt the need to come with him so she jumped down landing on her feet with one hand behind herself that had caught her from falling. She stood up her hand starting to bleed a bit because of the rock she had scrapped it on.

Even if he had not seen her with his keen eyes he would have discerned the thoughts that had been streaming through her mind. Her thoughts about climbing the tree in the first place had been what had given him cause to gaze skyward at the branches and leaves as he slithered along.

His eyes did scan her over from head to do as he fought to resist the urge that had been piercing through him at that moment. How easy it would be in taken advantage of her then and there but he found some measure of restraint within him knowing that he would have his way in a matter of time if he were patient enough.

He slithered along as he lead the way to the lab. A mother duck followed by her ducklings, that thought had bleed into his mind for a moment before he had dismissed it out of hand, er tentacle.

But once in a sterile white room with the sole furnishing of a silver colored metallic table he had oozed forth implanting the command within her to lay back upon the table.

It had been the sort with several restraints for the arms and torso so it was clear that he had intended on binding her in some fashion. She had been elusive, he'd give her that, and once she had been restrained he would extract his mental control from her mind figuring that then it would be too late for her to do anything about.
