Today had been a rather tiring day as he slunk back towards his underwater liar, tentacles supporting the meager weight of his body as Aegir had made his way along only glancing towards the heavens once to view the chaotic swirl of color dancing about the sky indicating that the sun had set or was setting in the west. He thought that he heard splashing though of course he could be wrong. It had been tough to say what that noise was as he had crept through the trees and under growth as he sought to check out this minor disturbance figuring that he had the time to spare being for all practical purposes ageless.

There had been nothing else to do that had pressed into his mind then. Nothing of importance that couldn't wait that was.
