"... what would you like me to say then? I'm alright, don't worry? No... I'm not okay... and I'll probably never be okay."

She simply sighs as her shoudlers were kneaded and the muscles began to relax slowly. She eyes the person behind her for a moment before shrugging her shoulders and lifting herself up.

"You remember what I told you before... I'm an empath... some times I can't very control how it works and there really aren't any surprises that come at me when I read someone's emotions. Excitement, anxiousness.... some times I wonder if it's a burden or not..." she puts simply, resting a hand on the back of her shoulder blade where her tattoo would be.

"I'm starting to see it isn't... because some times I'm glad I don't get some surprises..."

I smiled within my self as I felt her try and use her empathic abilities on me, the only emotions she would be reading would be Kanoes, and I was glad I had linked my mind to hers after all. I place my hand over hers that was covering the red cross tattoo on her left shoulder blade

“I know your not happy, your outward hostility towards me and all the other students is apparent, we already know this place has things we both don’t like, but once you let them break you down and not wanting to find some happiness or pleasure in life... Then they are the ones who win not you not me or anyone else but them.” I told her hotly and used the emotion from the past from Kanoe to spark her empathy she could feel.

I kiss her on the back of the neck and stop rubbing her back. “You think about what I said, im going for a walk, maybe if you start sharing stuff with me instead of me having to fight to get it out of you things would have less friction between us, just remember how I feel about you. Hopefully that bring some light into your life.” I say and walk out the door and slam it closed making sure no one was outside before I did so and turned invisible only to walk throw the door to watch her and her reaction.

Clarice simply sighs while shaking her head head. hearing the door slam, she simply heaves herself onto the bed once more and almost seemed more depressed then before if it were possible.

She turns her body onto her stomach, folding the pillow between her head and her arms and breathes softly through her nose. She seemed a bit apprehensive or possibly relieved she was alone again by her sighs of relief. Her head turns to the door for a moment before she yawns. She seemed tired and exhausted, which shouldn't be a surprise. She rubs her face before pushing against the bed to get up.

She went about her bussiness, cleaning up what she could and makes herself a little dinner. Green beans and mashed potatoes seemed like a small meal but it seemed to satiate her appetite. But her thoughts travel elswhere and she simply begins playing with her food. Kanoe was on her mind; she sniffles and desperatly tries to prevent herself from crying.

"...I miss you..."

I thought to my self ‘This girl been on the island way to long.’ there was nothing to really do to bring her out of this self destructive mood, and it wasn’t really my business the devices around the campus had already twisted my mind to I no longer felt as much pity for these creatures only lust drove me on these days.

She truly loved Kanoe but in someways I had hope the words I said throw the false Kanoe would sink in and drive her out of this mood, the lust in me was building and I would no longer be able to control it, I had warned her to leave her room and for her to willingly come back was accepting what would happen to her.

I waited till she finished dinner, there was no need to waste food and it might have helped her physical need. I watched her as she went about her business always watching how tantalizing her figure moved, making me want her even more, but I would wait till she returned to bed, maybe she needed an erotic dream to make her some what happy, but it would soon turn into reality for her once she awoken from the dream state, that’s when I would take physical pleasure from her.

It was quite bothersome to be picked by anyone or anything these days. They might as well just take they want and leave. She tried her very best not to let her emotions be shown to any monsters, but it was hard not to be a little unhappy in being ravaged.

Frankly, she accepted her fate on the island. She didn't know what would happen, but the only thing she knew was that she needed sleep. So much in one day and now slumber may be her only chance for relaxation. Exhaustion was setting in the more she thought of it. Changing from her robes and into something more appropriate like a gown for bed, she flops right down and with a heavy sigh she clsoes ehr eyes.

But such a need for peace did not come easy. With a few tosses and turns she finally succeeds in finding peace. Her breathing slows as her heartbeat does, her body just all too happy in rejunivating itself.

Smiling that she had finally went to bed, I could tell the change in her emotional state as she drifted off to sleep. Stepping close to her bed, I look at the slumbering beauty dressed in her night gown. “It really is a shame you had came back, sorry to cause you problems more then you desire but that is the nature of this island.” I whisper to her sleeping body. I sit down on a chair near her and seal the room from any outside intruders, it wasn’t like ly she would wake from the dream I was going to induce onto her.

Driving into her mind of her subconscious, I begin the dream for her, giving her the ability to do as she pleases within reason, within the dream she awakens laying next to a waterfall and a crystal blue pond dressed in a white and gold trimmed toga where the skirt is to her thighs, looking around she would see Kanoe under the falls her hair swept back wet and soaked as her own toga that looks like your own shows her outlines clearly as it clings to her skin revealing what’s under the outfit, her nipples erect from the chill of the water as you see in other places around the falls other friends you have dancing around like a picture of a wine feast in the Greek era from the myths of old.

The sight not only took her aback, but also made her wonder if this was a dream. A waterfall... and Kanoe a dripping hot mess amde her legs quiver as she rose to her feet. Unsure of what to make of this, she waves to Kanoe to get some form of explanation. It was a sight jerker to see her friends dancing as they were, but in dreams she knew anything could happen. But just where was her mind taking her exactly?

"Umm... what's... going on?" she questions with a giant question mark over her head. She was sure she was dreaming, but on this island she had been proven wrong far too many times. But why at a waterfall? Why so completely serene? Not on this island could one capture this without a monster clinging to them.

"K-kanoe... why... this?"

The sky had a mystical glow to it and rainbow from the mist from the waterfall enhanced the dreamlike state you felt you was in. The other friends you remember come running up to you giggling and grab hold of you by your wrists and ankles taking you over to the deep pond like area swinging you as they count “Onnnneeeee! Twwwwwooooooo! Thrreeeeee!!” they let go as it seems you fly in the air doing a backward somersault landing in the pound behind first, a few feet from Kanoe. They all laugh including Kanoe, you feel the cool waters on your skin making your own toga see throw like Kanoe.

“What do you mean ‘What’s going on?’ cant you see we are having fun?” Kanoe ask you as she splashes you with water, getting your face wet once more with the cool refreshing liquid. “Stop being such an old maid, learn to have some fun Clarice.” she tells you and submerges under the water when you feel her hands grab your feet pulling them from under you.

"H-hey w-wait a mintue!" Clarice struggles with her friends grabbing ehr and beginning the countdown to throwing her in the deep pond. Eyes widen on the count of three before she is tossed into the deep part of the pond. Bubbles come forth from the pond ebfore she is comign up ina splashing panic.

It was only until she manages to get her feet on solid ground does she feel hands pull her into the watery depths again. This time it was not only panic, even though Kanoe was right there. Just that gut wrenching churn to know she could not touch the bottom made her gurgle for a moment before she flings herself onto shore.

"What... the hell is wrong with you?" she growls lowly before catching her breath, "Don't... do that. You know... I can't swim." Her adrenaline was going for the few secodns she thought she was going to die. It never does give her a warm feeling after all.

Kanoe frowned at you. “Oh come on Clarice, you think ill let you drowned? I wouldn’t think of it, don’t know what I would do with out you.” Kanoe tells her trudging out of the water after you. One of your friends that help throw you into the pound throw a silken towel over your head as the smell of lavender permeates it, making you feel some what relaxed.

“Besides how do you know you cant swim if you don’t try? I would be happy to teach you the basics of swimming and maybe we could teach each other some new tricks in the water?” she giggles as do your other friends when they hear that and return to there dancing around and being playful with one another.

I must have missed that phobia about water, but it was hard to think clearly with the devices around messing with me as I had struggled to let this girl go, sadly I had her in my powers and was going to have my way with her once my game was over, the dream would be pleasant at least or I had planned it to be that way, before she would wake up to find me near her.

Clarice felt herself tense up all the time these days. But if this was her dream, surely she couldn't drown in her dreams... could she?

The woman simply sighs as she allows the soft and sweet smelling towel to relax her somewhat. Maybe she just needed to relax and unwind, maybe that's why she snapped when she was awake.

"I need to learn on my own about that. It won't help me if you're distracting me all the time," she says with a smile, "Besides, I don't think there are many tricks I can do underwater that I can't do on land."

"I'm sorry... I've been really... really tense these days. There was a monster in our room just a little bit ago. Man, the way he pulled that imposter Kanoe out made me so agitated. The creature probably thought my empathic ways wouldn't pick up that it wasn't Kanoe I was feeling. I can't feel monsters so I feel proud with that. But then the guy took me back to the room, which I guess is for the better. I wouldn't want to be raped in the halls or any class room.

I can't remember any time someone's tried to pose as you. I mean really, I get to the student common rooms and there 'you' are with a smile. Jeez he made me feel stupid believing him for a second. Ugh..."

She plops down on a rock and continues to try and dry herself off.

"Some of the things he said were just... not you. And the fact he giggled made me shiver. You don't giggle like that."

I was impressed with this girl even linked to the real Kanoe she was able to see throw my masquerade of her friend and I didn’t even pick up on it in her mind, I guess ill have to remember that next time if I decide to approach this girl in the future. Speaking as Kanoe once more “So he raped you did he? What did he do to you? He didn’t hurt you I hope. If he so much left a scratch on you ill have to hunt this vile beast down.” I told her looking concerned for her well being.

I walked over to her and placed my arm around her the way I’ve seen in both Kanoe and her mind when this girl I was pretending to be did when trying to comfort her friend. I had to be more careful then before to not get her suspicions up like before, but this was a dream and it was a lot easier to manipulate the real life.

“So how was it that he giggled? Was he like a madman giggle like Mawhahaha!” I asked her making it sound more like a joke, but I did want to figure out how my perfect imitation of her friend wasn’t perfect, normally linked to other peoples minds allow me to access there own personalities and quarks. This girl before me was vastly different then any student I had encountered before, was it because of her high degree in magic or was it something more, there was a lot of questions I had and though I never like the Lab this girl would want to make me take her there to unravel this mystery.

She couldn't recall Kanoe making such a joke before, but this was a dream. Perhaps the sense of humor was from herself. It was easier to accept then carry on with suspicion. She shook her head slowly before looking into Kanoe’s eyes.

“No, he didn’t. I played it out so that he would have to act like he was mad so he left my room. I wonder if he’ll come back. He must be aggravated or mad I didn’t fall for his ruse. I bet if I wake up he’ll be all over me.”

She’d rather stay in fantasy then ever go back to reality. Just thinking about the possibilities or the fact the monster may very well be ravaging her and she didn’t know it. It was strange, should she really be thinking so freely in a dream? Even though she knew this Kanoe wasn’t real, she still wanted to stay here. It was enough to leave one confused and with a headache. There was a fine line between fantasy and reality.

“I’m thinking too much on this. I’ve been very depressed lately. Maybe Natsuki really damaged me that I can’t recover. I can’t believe… I was electrocuted and… she nearly drowned me.”

She shivers at the thought and élans into Kanoe’s embrace. A soft sigh escapes her lips as she finds that warm comfort in her lover. She was real enough to do this so that made her real enough to talk to her like a real person.

“Some times I don’t ever want to wake up. The… just be kept suspended in dreams like this… there’s nothing to look forward to at this hellish school, Kanoe. What makes you keep smiling hmm?”

I grin at Clarice “Well lets just say this, looking at you and knowing we are together makes me smile, even though this is a dream and im not real or you for that matter, this is how I would act if I was free to show my emotions instead of bottling them up like I do in the real world.” I laugh just a bit. “Or maybe this is real and you just make me happy being my lover.” I tell her, at this point in the dream I wasn’t afraid to act out of character since she already knew it was a dream.

I had found it took longer for a human to figure when they was dreaming, normally when they start to awaken is when they know it’s a dream, but this girl knew once she was here that she was dreaming. “Well the real world has things im sure you enjoy.. Right? And if you do wake up and that monster was there? What would you do?” I was kind of curious why she believed I was angry or aggravated when those was feelings far beyond my scope at the time.

I admit I was annoyed at the fact the devices was messing with my mind but none of these feelings was directed at her. “Why do you think you made the monster mad or aggravated for? What did it look like and was it scary?” I had asked these questions to put her at ease a bit, as I stroked up and down her back with my finger tips.

Placing my hands on the ground behind me I lean back looking up in the sky closing my eyes and take a deep breath of the fresh air. “I just love this place, its so peaceful here don’t you think?” I had asked her my head resting between my shoulder, the way I was positioned emphasized my breasts as I breathed in and out.

"Well, if it is real then that's fine by me," Clarice says with a shrug. It just didn't play right to think this was real but in all actuality she might as well accept it and just go with the flow. She had been depressed enough as it was. She might as well get some relaxation out of it. She does get interrupted with the questions Kanoe asked her.

“I don’t know why he was mad… he seemed to be more ‘in pain’ then angry, but it’s not like I care. I don’t like my mind messed with. God knows how many times NICE labs or other monsters have done that to me.”

“Well if he did come back, there really isn’t much I can do. I’ve never been able to beat a monster and not get rape or ravaged so… I imagine that would happen and I would just come along for the ride,” she says with a sad chuckle. She leans into the woman as she caresses and strokes her back to comfort her. She looks up to the sky as well and for the first time in a while she truly smiles.

“It is very peaceful. I wish I could… just stay here forever.”
