Post Re: The Fall From Grace [For Veil]
The latest burst of pleasure hammered at her defenses, every muscle and fiber of her being grew tight as she gripped at her legs. Moans and quiet growls of protest silenced themselves against the bed, her drugged and sensitive body forced into another series of orgasmic releases. The device might not have been as strong as the time previous, but that hardly mattered to her or her body. As they finally ended, Veil's strength fled from her as she went limp once again. After a moment Veil rolled her head to look over at the criminal and out the window at the world he spoke of. It reminded her of her previous slavery except instead of dark magics strangling and choking the life out of the planet, it was technology. The very thought that this man was anything like or worse than her previous Masters was an absolutely terrifying thought as doubts began to crack at her formidable mental defenses. As helpless as she was she felt as she had the day she was first brought to those slave pits, scared, weak and unable to do anything about it.

The difference was that this time she was stronger, that she had the ability to resist and the ability to escape on her own but could she? She honestly didn't know. What she did know is that like last time her captor most likely enjoyed watching her struggles and what little defiance she could muster. She didn't say anything as she listened to him speak, her glowing red eyes just watching him with hatred, fear, lust and pleasure all dancing across them. She couldn't have said anything, her own convictions had seemed so hollow in the face of what she saw before her as her own terror and doubts plagued her.

As he told her to sleep Veil narrowed her eyes at the criminal as her will flared back to life. She wasn't going to do anything he asked and would try at every turn to defy him. She figured he didn't want to risk her being moved down to the planet while she was awake and that it was probably going to be her best chance if not only to escape. As the dial was turned, Veil attempted to brace and steady herself for the worst seeing now that he meant to put her to sleep. Not the strongest setting the device was capable of but the strongest she had felt yet drove and coursed through out her. Veil rolled onto her back, her wings fanning out to her sides on the bed as she arched her back into the air sharply and was forced to straighten out. Her hands gripped and clenched at the sheets of the bed as she writhed, sweat, tears and her own juices dripping onto the bed.

Growling, Veil sneered as she turned her head back towards Takeru, "...That...That's...all...you've...got!? Nnnnggghhhhhhh!! Aaagrrrhhnnn! NNGGGHHKKTH!" Her full breasts bounced and shook as she thrashed against the climatic peaks that rolled into her endless, sapping her bodies strength and crushing her will. To Veil's credit she resisted and lasted far longer than was expected as she struggled in hard gasps while thrashing on top of the large bed. Her bright eyes rolled upwards as they dulled and extinguished as the light disappeared from within them, her entire body going limp as the darkness that had been threatening at the corner of her eyes was finally pulled over her. Her eyes closed slowly as her body welcomed the empty embrace of sleep.

Post Re: The Fall From Grace [For Veil]
After the darkness claimed her again, the Agent had been transported from the Nergal after it had docked and into one of the dark and raped world's largest fortified complexes, a fortress in its own right, really. Now, not only was she trapped on a planet full of Nakamura's soldiers, still battling the serum unconsciously, she too lost any chances of escaping. With Nakamura Technologies' forces and war machines outside and numerous surveillance nanobots swarming all over within the fortress, Veil was truly deep within the heart of the enemy.

After being unconscious for what seemed like an indefinite amount of time, a powerful surge of sensations flooded through her body, much similar to the dose of the super serum she had received earlier. Cruelly given a fresh dose of the terrible drug, the agent soon found herself being forcibly pulled back into consciousness. The darkness retreated as Veil was brought back to cruel reality, just as nude, just as sore, just as hyper sensitive as she had been on the Nergal. Only, she was now back in restrains, this time in a thick chair, arms and legs bound to the metal furniture. Instead of being surrounded by laboratory equipments, scientists, and Elite Guardsmen, the agent found herself in a large room empty of everything but a plasma screen that covered the entire wall before her eyes, a large brute beside her that happened to be Obsidian's true form.

And in front of the screen... Nakamura, Takeru himself. The criminal smiled as the agent was aware of his presence. "Welcome back to the world. I hope you had a pleasant sleep, Agent." Takeru chuckled, still full of arrogance and cruelty. Upon a few more moments' investigation, the agent could see that the black disks were no longer latched to her teats nor her clitoris. She had been freed from that particular torment... but Takeru would surely have something more diabolical in mind for her. She could also see, on the screen, the familiar face of one of the A.D.D's highest ranking leaders. What possible reason could there be for a criminal and A.D.D's leader to be together?

Takeru smiled again as he approached Veil. It was time to exploit the vulnerabilities he had seen in her, the doubts that had plagued her, the cracks in her mental defenses after her torture. "Tell me... You agents have come after me many times so far. Some have died, either because they were incompetent or had overestimated themselves. Others were captured by me, due to lack of intelligence or knowledge. Yet more, briefed on me, too found themselves in my clutches." Takeru bent down his knees, dropping just below Veil's eye level. "What does that tell you?"

"On Rosso, you saw the sizable military force. All the technology and war machines. You went up against one of the many Takeru in existence. Despite having more information on us than any other agent, despite having the drop on us, despite catching us unaware... You were still captured and brought in by us. I'm sure... you wondered why they didn't send more Agents to join you. I'm sure you've wondered why they had simply sent one woman against an army. The truth?" Takeru, not smiling anymore, turned his head to the side.

And the woman on the screen took over. "Mr. Nakamura, I don't see the point in explaining this Agent anything. Don't forget our agreement, you're to get rid of her. I don't need to worry about any loose ends." Takeru nodded, looking back at Veil. "Of course not. There's no way I'd jeopardize our alliance, after all. In exchange for leaving your general personnel alone and going after only the criminals, expanding in the systems where the law cannot touch... The A.D.D also leaves me alone, sending only token resistance to maintain the appearance of fighting me."

The woman nodded, scowling at Takeru for revealing critical information. He was quite making it apparent that even the A.D.D was corrupted, had fallen to the same level of decadence and poison that had crippled many a government and law enforcement. It would take quite an idiotic agent to not observe that the position of authority was one of the most profitable one ever. And now, to suggest that one of the universe's law enforcement agencies was corrupt... Of course, with Takeru's control over technology, his ability to hack into information databases and computer systems, and his talent for producing convincing videos to suit his needs... it wasn't difficult to put together such a lie.

It was all only to crack through her mental defenses, to wedge open the way into her mind and heart using her doubts and weaknesses. Any strong Agent wouldn't have believed it, but disoriented after sleeping for so long, undergoing such powerful tortures, and fighting off the super serum for this long would have driven anyone into a psychological corner, tenderizing their resistances. "Mr. Nakamura, I've asked you to make sure you took care of any Agents we sent after you, and while I understand the need for you to send back messages, to raise the threat you represent... This one is expendable, and we certainly do not need her back. That was the agreement, you leave alone our finest agents, and we'd allow you to do whatever you wanted to our trouble cases and problem individuals like her."

"Of course, I understand. Quite clearly, really. By the way, I'll be initiating my assault on the Gracchus System in two weeks from now." Takeru spoke softly, the woman nodding behind him. "Very well, there's another Agent we need you to get rid of as well, so I'll make sure she get assigned to you. Good day, Mr. Nakamura." And the screen went offline, the woman flickering out of view. Takeru looked back up at Veil, his face quite serious. "Now... Here's my conflict. I could do as your superior said, and have my men execute you like we took care of other 'trouble cases'. Or I could allow you to live, despite her warnings toward me. Granted, there wouldn't be much purpose left for you now that the A.D.D doesn't want you anymore, not that they ever did. You served their cause quite admirably, so I'm told...

"But to them, you're just an alien, not one of them. Did you really think they'd welcome you with open arms just because you would fight for them? They'd rather mark you down killed in action than give you a medal for defending humanity." Takeru sighed as he traced a line up Veil's thigh, back and forth. "Against my better judgment, I think I'll ignore your superior's orders and keep you around. Beside, I'd like to see how long you're going to remain deluded, remain convinced that the A.D.D hasn't given up on you. I won't need them around forever. Soon or later, they will fall, victims of their own hypocrisy, foolish enough to allow me to expand where they can't go, destroying those they can't influence. From the bottom of my heart, I hope you'll see the truth and join me in exacting vengeance on your betrayers."

Post Re: The Fall From Grace [For Veil]
Though darkness had overtaken her and forced her into unconsciousness as once before Veil found little comfort or peace in her dreams. Dreams of her life as a slave and all the horrible things she had done played along side twisted nightmarish dreams playing upon the fears and doubts that had been bubbling up inside of her. Unaware of anything else around her or even the compound she had been brought to, Veil's deep sleep and terrible nightmares only aided in the criminals efforts. Pulled from her sleep, Veil's eyes fluttered open struggling to get herself together and make sense of the situation around her. She didn't know how long she was out for, but she could still feel the effects of the mystical tonic she had injected into herself coursing inside of her and on top of that she felt still just as she had aboard the Nergal after being injected with that serum. Weak, exhausted and restrained Veil looked around briefly between her gasping breaths.

As the A.D.D official and the criminal spoke, Veil closed her eyes and leaned her head back wanting to shut out those words to not hear that her efforts had all been for absolutely nothing and that she had outlived her usefulness to them. Fresh tears squeezed out from between her shut eyes as her body trembled faintly. It had to be a lie. It had to be. Shaking her head, Veil barely managed to choke back her own emotions. Was she once again truly and utterly alone? She had to fight, had to remain strong. She knew this game, everything was a lie until proven without a shadow of doubt otherwise. The communication with higher had been quite convincing, but everything mattered and played a part even ever word spoken between the two. Her body shifted against the restraint's at his proximity to her, his hand running up and down her bare, shapely thigh causing the serum and her own lusts to flare up inside of her.

"It...it doesn't matter... what ...lies you tell me... or try to show me, Takeru. You are as false as the image you played. I told you I can feel your presence...something no machine you have can replicate...the thing next to me has your aura. You...you don't know anything about me...neither did they...but if you were working with them I'd have...thought you'd at least have been given my call-sign." Her voice wavered as she spoke, betraying the lack of conviction at her words. She knew he didn't want her to join him, he just wanted her to break and give in to her doubts and for her to submit to him. Even if A.D.D had betrayed her and left her to the mercy's of the sadistic criminal she still had hope and faith in her own abilities.

"Maybe...you'd be better off...just killing me...and turning me into another...of your machines." Veil smirked slightly as she reopened her eyes and turned to look at Obsidian. She wasn't afraid of death...though she wasn't even sure that from what had been done to her that she could die anymore. Regardless, him killing her and turning her into another of his mindless zombies would be a small victory even if she wouldn't be able to escape.

Post Re: The Fall From Grace [For Veil]
Still spectacularly stubborn, still magnificently defiant even in the heart of the enemy, refusing to crack even in the face of such lies. Oh, he had certainly come to expect it of Veil, but to find such strength in her, such defiance, only made it all sweeter. It only bolstered his own decision to break her and turn her into his plaything. "No. I don't think I want to let you be indoctrinated. You're far more useful to me alive than infected. Beside, I would have thought you'd want revenge on being used and abandoned by the very people you fought for. Even if you escaped and recovered your strength... You'd still be no match for them. Even if you joined up with other criminals or rogues, it's still useless. Even if you disappeared and made a new life for yourself, they'd just come after you, branding you as a criminal for their 'finest' to hunt down and kill like some wild animal."

Takeru sighed again, withdrawing his hand from her thigh. "Beside, what makes you so sure they didn't tell me all they knew about you, whatever there was on you... Veil. Takeru maintained his emotionless face, allowing his words to sink in. He wouldn't have dared attempting such a video to destroy her loyalties to the A.D.D if he didn't have a trump card to verify everything he had said. And not only had he stripped down the Omerta, he had invaded every bit of systems the ship had, tearing through it for the smallest amount of knowledge, feeding on all information it harbored or concealed. And no matter how thorough people were in wiping their systems clean, there was always something they overlooked. That and no human or alien could ever hope to outmaneuver a machine when it came to technology.

"Granted, why would I be putting you through all this if I rather let you free to cause damage for the A.D.D? Well, for starters, if I allowed you to go, you'd only get killed eventually. And even if you managed to stay alive, you'd only be alone in this cold, empty universe. And you also still see me as the enemy, which probably isn't wrong. But while you have this mindset... I'm not foolish enough to allow you opportunities to harm me. You need to be weaned off these violent thoughts of resistance and revenge." Takeru spoke softly, placing emphasis on certain words, as he remained on his knees before her. He had already seen doubts before. He had seen more develop during the video conference. Now, he would create more in her, playing on her vulnerabilities.

"I'm not your enemy here, young lady. The traitorous A.D.D is. Do you really think they'll just let me expand forever? No, they'll eventually come to destroy me after I've outlived my own usefulness. I may not be truly alive, but I'm in the same shoes as you are. Both of us are, either officially or privately, enemies of the A.D.D. Both of us, they want dead. And both of us have nothing to fear from them, right?" It was the time to make him appear less and less than what she had come to believe of him. He had to make her definition of him as her master less tangible, less... credible. He had to make her question everything she had come to know. And only then, in the darkness, could she see the light.

Post Re: The Fall From Grace [For Veil]
Veil's head and eyes turned away from the man before her as all of her doubts and fears that had taken root had begun to come to life. His words worming deep into her psyche and as he spoke her operator name her smirk vanished completely. Veil's entire body began to shake and whatever further protests she might have had poised on the tip of her tongue disappeared as she bit down onto the corner of her bottom lip. Had A.D.D uncovered her own private investigations and this was their way of dealing with her? She had no way of knowing whether or not it was truly a lie but if it wasn't an she managed to escape and return to them...well she'd have her answer and then she'd be hunted down like the criminals she had put to justice. He was right about that at the very least but if it wasn't a lie then she couldn't just betray them else she was just given credence to their concerns about her own dark nature.

"Stop...stop it. You are trying to confuse me...you don't care about me...you don't...have any real proof...I...they..." Veil weakly protested, each word struggling to form under the onslaught of her mental anguish. Veil's head lowered, her nearly luminescent white hair shield her face as she grimaced and sneered, trying to push out those doubts as more tears slipped free, rolling down her cheek and chin to drip freely upon her naked flesh. In her current drug addled and exhausted state Veil didn't even know what to think anymore or what she could do but part of her did. In the darkness of her own mind she knew A.D.D would eventually betray her, she knew they were just using her and that the specially forged nanites inside of her to keep the dark energies coursing inside of every aspect of her being at bay was just another type of control. It was a double-edged sword as the magics infused inside of her if left unchecked would eventually finish her transformation while kept sealed as they had been she was at the mercy of her superiors if she wished to retain what precious little had remained of her humanity. She had been lying to herself. She had traded one Master for another and A.D.D had held that leash. Veil's eyes squeezed themselves shut once more, biting down harder as she stifled the sorrowful wail of despair that had attempted to escape causing her to tremble and shake with even greater force.

"Please...just...just let me go...I wo...I won't come after you again." Her voice bordered on breaking into an open sob as she plead for her freedom. She knew he wouldn't. She knew he wouldn't believe her...and she didn't blame him as given half the chance she knew she would try again. Veil just wanted to get away, to be left alone to not hear his words anymore. She wasn't scared of what tortures of pleasure and pain had awaited her...what she was afraid of was seeing his words proven and if they were what did that mean?

She was helpless and completely at his mercy, the arcane potion she had injected herself with only helped to ensure that. They had told her the after effects would last for days but in her current state she knew it was more likely going to be weeks. Her breasts heaved up and down with her hard breathing as she kept trying to maintain her focus, nothing mattered...only escape, don't listen to him. She had to keep telling herself that.

Post Re: The Fall From Grace [For Veil]
Takeru remained silent. The criminal remained motionless, only staring back at Veil's tear-filled eyes. Beautiful. Just beautiful. She was well along the dark path that trailed out ahead of her. And then the pathetic request for freedom. She was quite close to breaking down and crying, his sensors informed him. And then the restraints keeping her trapped in the chair snapped open, granting her hope for freedom. And from the side, a thick door slid open as a soldier walked in, carrying what appeared to be a black silk robe in his arm. The soldier stopped just a few feet away from the criminal and his captive.

"I cannot allow you to leave this world. Not when you're this weakened. You will stay here until your strength recovers and until we've repaired your ship and ensured your equipment are all in working order." Things no criminal would have said to an Agent and yet he said them, sounding quite serious. "If you wish to take your chances with the A.D.D, that's fine. I won't stop you if you're resigned to an empty life, chased by your former comrades, dying on some nameless and worthless backwater planet, going down in history as a traitor to the A.D.D, to the law you once championed." Takeru shrugged, black irises staring back at crimson. He held his hand out for the robe, and the soldier complied, placing the silky fabric in the criminal's hands.

"While you're here, you may have unrestricted access to our computers, to our databases, to everything we've accumulated so far. Uncensored. Unhindered. No 'need to know' basis. If you want the truth, it's in the systems. I've taken care to record everything I've come in contact, especially the A.D.D." Takeru then stood up, dropping the robe onto Veil's thighs. "I also apologize for putting you through all that torture as well. It was the most effective way of ensuring your superior believed you to be broken down, otherwise she would have suspected me of having ulterior motives. The antidote for the super serum within your body should also be here soon so you don't have to worry about getting rid of the nanites within you. My apologizes for deceiving you, Veil."

This was nothing less than complete freedom. Nothing less than taking off the leash she had on for so long, the leash held by various masters. Takeru was effectively allowing her to do as she wanted, going as far as to make himself appear as an unlikely ally. Not only would this throw her into further confusion, but between all the distrust and paranoia she would now feel, she would be at a loss about who to trust, what to do. And now... "I may not care about you, but that doesn't mean I wouldn't help you. Like I said, we're both the same. Or at least, we were. You said you could feel my presence, despite this monstrosity. Well, that makes me happy, knowing that despite going to the extremes, trying to survive in an universe that refuses to tolerate me, trying to subdue a virus that is hellbent on assimilating me... I've still managed to retain some of my humanity. Thank you."

Oh, most assuredly a lie, but from the unique genetic information he had acquired from Veil's body, her strange physiology, all had led him to believe that this was not a natural occurrence nor was it accepted but rather forcibly integrated into her, along with being kept contained. And with all this along with what little information he had gleamed on Veil, he was banking it all on yet another trump card. His ace in the hole, you might say. He believed that she was not only fighting against the terrors of this universe but with her own body, trying to hold on to her own fractured humanity with a grim determination that could not be faked. "You said I didn't know anything about you? You're wrong. I know more about you, about your body. You certainly didn't want to be like this, did you?

"All these changes... were forced onto you, weren't they? Genetic information doesn't lie. You can change the way you look, the way you sound, even the way you act... But your body is like a file, an open book on everything that happened to you. Every illness acquired, every wound sustained, even the most insignificant of splinters and coughs... All of them. Along with your abilities." Takeru kept on staring down at the Agent, attacking her from yet another front, assaulting her weakened psyche with not tortures but... a strange sort of understanding. "You don't have to keep acting tough and try to be brave. You need to recover now, not resist." And with what passed for kindness, the criminal gave a sigh before opening his lips to add "Calm down and relax."

Post Re: The Fall From Grace [For Veil]
Veil sat there as the restraints holding her in place came free, her head turning to look Takeru as her crimson eyes focused upon him. She didn't dare give into hope as she listened to his words. Even as the black robe was dropped down upon her lap she remained unmoving, her eyes flickering between a large spectrum of emotions. Everything she had thought she knew about the criminal and A.D.D came to a screeching halt as she listened to his explanation. He had said that A.D.D was going to be watching, was he warning here even then? The torture could have been a lot worse truthfully and now that the A.D.D director seemed to have gone offline his entire attitude had changed. What did she really know? All of her information and data save that which she collected herself had come from A.D.D and it could have just as easily been a lie but that didn't mean she should trust him or any of the information he was giving her. She had seen what he did to other Agents in her investigations as well as the planets he had attacked yet why would he just release her from her bondage? Why would her offer to help her at all? They had both been humans once...was it that he saw in her a kindred spirit of sorts? Her eyes narrowed skeptically as she had learned from the hardships in her life that trust was to be earned and even then it only ever went so far.

As he started speaking about her, she looked away confirming his suspicions immediately as her teeth clenched as she gave a hard sniffle. Her body tensed as she shifted slightly in the chair, she hated what she had become...was becoming. Veil may not have known the exact specifics about what she had been turned into but what she did know haunted her and plagued her to this very day. Yet something he said had sparked something inside of her, another of her fears brought to terrible reality.

"Wait...you can't get rid of all the nanites...I...I'll..." Veil's voice was still quiet, subdued and on the delicate edge of tears. For all her strength, will, skills and abilities she had never truly recovered from the Pits and now the dangerous criminal had cracked passed those protective defenses she had put in place to keep herself distant from everyone and everything. She didn't actually know what would happen if those nanites sealing her off from her other half were removed, but like other things about her she had learned that nothing good would come of it.

She was endlessly confused by his sudden seeming understanding at her plight, disarmed by it as she could only just stare back up at him. Slowly and cautiously she pushed herself to her feet, taking hold of the robe as she moved to keep both the criminal and the large monstrosity in her sight. She had grossly over estimated her own strength and the reapplied drugs effect on her body as she stumbles forward and into her captor, her bare form pressed to his. The drugs effect on her body was nearly immediate as she felt his bodies warmth wash against her skin caused goosebumps to rise, the robe falling to the floor as she buried her face against his chest, breathing in gasps from the sheer strain. Her slender fingers and palms rested flat against his chest, tips digging a bit into his shirt as she stood there. Something about it made her seem so much more fragile than she truly was. Pushing herself away quickly, she falls backwards into the chair, anger and disgust etched on her face at her own weakness.

Post Re: The Fall From Grace [For Veil]
"Yes, your abilities will spiral out of control. That much, even I can tell. Can't you see that the A.D.D has always feared you more than you feared yourself, that they sought only to control you for their own ends alone." The criminal spoke softly as he held on to Veil, allowing her to use his body to support herself in lieu of the serum and her own recent weaknesses. Then, the door opened again as what was clearly another scientist approached the two with a vial of the same blue liquid he had shown her before, the 'cure' to the 'virus' within her. "Relax. This is just to stabilize your body and stop the nanites we gave you. The ones that are already working on keeping your abilities under control will be left intact." Takeru spoke again as Veil was back into the chair, seeming disgusted with herself.

And the criminal added, "What do you want us to do, for you?" Her masters had sought to change her into their toy. The A.D.D had only decided on containing and caging her. Had anyone ever asked her what she wanted to do? Had anyone ever considered her thoughts on this very subject. Did she want the nanites removed, her powers released? Or did she want them left in, her powers buried away? Did she want to control them or reject them? It was this very question Takeru now asked, knowing that the caged often always felt as if they could never run enough to get away from the bars of their darkest days, that it would haunt them forever. He had such similar emotions when the virus had assimilated his flesh, taken his body for its own.

Taking the blue vial for Veil, Takeru held the antidote up to the Agent. "Your cure, Veil. We included an energy booster in it, so you should be getting some of your strength back, but you'll still need some rest. Not just to recover but to digest all this." Takeru took care to ensure that his voice remained as calm and composed as before, presenting none of the danger he had shown her previously. Looking up at the monster beside her, the criminal nodded and the machine obeyed, taking its silent leave, along with the soldier and the scientist, leaving the two of them alone. "I'm not trying to enslave you, Veil, like your previous... 'employers', nor am I trying to deceive you. You don't have to trust me nor do I demand your loyalty. I am just trying to help as best as I can, despite my many shortcomings and flaws. Don't ever think yourself worthless or weak. Post Re: The Fall From Grace [For Veil]
There was a part of her that didn't want to leave his arms, that wanted to stay folded in that warm and tender embrace and just let the world around her fade to the distance. Now that she was back in the chair she honestly wondered how much of those thoughts had been the super serum she had been given and how much was her own need for companionship. Ever since she had changed, Veil had taken to isolating herself from others keeping them away for fear of what she was. She would have never admitted she was lonely or afraid, instead always playing the brave and tough soldier while she kept her feelings suppressed by consuming herself with work and training. She was still utterly confused, not sure what to think or even do anymore. Had A.D.D been feeding her bad intelligence and sending her after targets that weren't even actually criminals? The very idea made her sick to her stomach.

Veil turned and looked back towards Takeru once more, her shining eyes looking back upwards meeting his own. "I...I don't know. I think...I should try to rest...before making any decisions." Unlike previous times when she had spoken Veil's mind was to clouded and body to exhausted to consciously conceal her soft, song like voice anymore. Even as her words struggled to form from all that she had endured, each one of them blended together into a tender song. As much as Veil wanted to trust what was before her and how everything had begun to play out, she just couldn't let herself or bring herself to do as such. If this was all a game...he'd never let her go free...if this was all a lie he'd never let her recover or would have even made that offer to help her as he had. Time would ultimately show the true measure and she would have to wait to see, but she would at least take the opportunity given to recuperate.

Bending down Veil picked up the black silken robe once more, slipping her arms into it as she squirmed about in the chair to get it onto her body and covering her. Biting down on her bottom lip, Veil wrinkled her nose as the soft fabric tickled at her smooth skin playing off the drug and her own highly sensitive nature. She wasn't embarrassed about being naked or exposed, that was something she had gotten over in the Pits rather quickly but she was still grateful for the clothing and the seeming help. "Th..thank...you." Her eyes shifted away from him once more, the drug making it hard to look upon him as she managed to force herself to speak once more. If someone had told her she'd one day thank one of her targets, she would have laughed and called them crazy but it was genuine all the same.

Post Re: The Fall From Grace [For Veil]
Takeru remained silent as as the woman got her robe on, thanking him after she had done so. Somehow, to him, it felt ridiculous to be getting thanks from one of his mortal enemies, but then again with the scenario he had been playing out, it wasn't all that unexpected, just... alien. Lowering the vial of blue liquid, Takeru converted it into a shot, grabbing ahold of Veil's wrist as well. "You're welcomed, and I agree, you should rest before we move on." The criminal added as the needle pierced her flesh once again, breaking into a vein. And as the liquid was injected into her body, the Agent would feel the super sensitivity that the serum had endowed her with fading away immediately, as if the antidote was already working quickly. And at the same time, a revitalizing effect could be felt spreading in response, as some of her strength began to come back to the Agent.

"I see it's working admirably well." Takeru spoke softly as held on to her wrist, free hand sliding up and down and yet eliciting no aroused responses from her body. Releasing Veil again, Takeru leaned in toward her, arms pushing around her back and legs and lifted her from her seat. "But until then, you're not to try walking until our scientists have given you permission, understood? We certainly do not need to deal with additional injuries you may sustain if you attempt that." It only got more confusing as the criminal continued to shift from being considerate and helpful and being neutral and distant. With Veil secured in his arms, Takeru began walking toward the same door the others had left through, and left the room as the door slid open on its own. In front of them, outside now, sat a large vehicle that appeared to serve as an armored personnel carrier. And indeed, a small regiment of soldiers stood, surrounding the two.

Not bothering with them, Takeru carried Veil over to the vehicle which also opened up as well, revealing a spacious interior. "I imagine you'll be requiring nutrients as well, and that you'll want to feed yourself instead of having them fed intravenously?" The criminal inquired as he placed his captive within the vehicle, her body seated against soft cushions. Takeru himself got onto board as well, seating himself beside her as the door closed behind him. "Go." The criminal spoke simply as the vehicle lurched into action, moving down the black road past armored tanks and mobilizing regiments. A voice flared into life aboard the vehicle; "Sir, we've prepared your guest's personal quarters." Takeru gave only a nod, the comm shutting off on its own.

Post Re: The Fall From Grace [For Veil]
As the blue shot countered the effects of the highly concentrated dose of serum inside of her, it was as if a giant weight had been lifted as her hormones, lusts and primal desires all began to fade. The drug fading only gave way to more exhaustion as she slumped a bit in the chair, panting for breath as she watched him. All the soreness, strain, fatigue and mental exhaustion kept her stuck in that chair as sure as those restraints that had been locked around her before. Veil couldn't help but tense slightly as he drew so very close to her and slipped his arms around her slender body, holding her breath as she was still quite a bit on edge. Lifted from the chair as she was, Veil rested the side of her face against Takeru's shoulder. It felt odd being held and carried by the criminal whom she had been sent to hunt down and it was unsettling how comfortable she found herself being in those same arms. Nothing made sense to her anymore. No criminal would have gone to these extremes...especially for an A.D.D Agent whom had proven to be as dangerous as she was.

She could still feel his warmth, he seemed so...so not like a machine. Putting her hands to his chest once more, Veil remained quiet as he easily carried her from the dark room and outside. Without her even realizing it, the man had gotten closer to her than any had in a very long time. She kept her past before her time in the Pits private and didn't often speak of them either but just the idea that someone understood her put her off balance. As Veil was sat down she sunk down into the soft cushions within the transport, looking over to Takeru once again as he took a seat next to her. "I would prefer that..." She replied, feeling a bit awkward now as they spoke not as enemies but as at the very least temporary companions. A good warm meal, a hot shower and a long sleep would do wonders for her and maybe help clear her mind so that she could try and put all the different pieces together. Once refreshed, then she would be able to fully work out what her next course of action should be and until then she might as well just see where things went and if her instincts were wrong she would be ready.

In spite of her mistrust and cautious nature however, Veil was steadily starting to give into the hopes that had been presented to her. Perhaps this man could actually help her...perhaps with all of his data she would be able to find another way to retain her humanity or at least suppress the danger that lurked inside of her. Other thoughts of fancy drifted through her hazy mind as she had finally begun to allow herself to relax.

Post Re: The Fall From Grace [For Veil]
The ride had been rather quiet, awkward almost but being what he was, Takeru didn't quite perceive the slightly uncomfortable silence/ Already far down his own dark road, more and more of his fading humanity was slowly consumed by the monster that had consumed his flesh. Though, despite such a heavy cost, he had finally managed to achieve a strong degree of control over the virus. Now, he only had to deal with the dying gasps of irrational emotions and the black hunger for his lost humanity, only a soft burning by now. Interacting with lifeforms inevitably led to such problematic days but Takeru had learned to ignore such things by now, increasingly consumed by his chosen goal, the destruction of his mortal enemies, the A.D.D, and that meant he too was also concentrated on the female beside him, on how to turn her against them as well, using her as a weapon against her allies.

Nothing else mattered. Entire worlds had been razed down. Entire species, wiped out. Whole systems, subjugated. Criminal organizations, destroyed. The Obsidian Plague was spreading quite well, following the plan he had put together before. His forces were moving into position everywhere, battling the criminals, the terrorists, the monsters, and naturally, the Agents that came after him. Patience was his greatest weapon, his strongest armor. For all of his strength, he still lacked information on the A.D.D, and to Takeru, knowledge meant power. And more than anything, it was power he desired most. And he would do everything necessary to achieve that power, even if it meant sleeping with the very enemy he was trying to destroy.

Before long, the vehicle finally arrived at the complex it had been headed for. The door slid open as Takeru, still wordlessly, got out and brought Veil back out into his arms once again. His sensors had already seen that she was more or less conflicted about being held by him in such a manner, and he had a hunch that those conflicted emotions would be paying off soon or later. It did not take long for Takeru to bring Veil to her temporary quarters, entering a modest room that was more functional than fashionable, everything seeming to be more geared toward serving a purpose than allowing for a sense of belonging. The criminal looked to the left, a simple door concealing a shower and sink, along with towels and other basic items. "If you require a shower, there's one over there."

Moving toward the bed, Veil was set down onto its soft surface as she was finally released once again from close proximity to the criminal. Takeru then looked to the right, where there appeared to be a kitchen of sorts, stocked with plenty of nutrient-rich yet taste-less food and energy drinks. It was not much but would have to suffice. "We have food stocked there if you'd like any. Everything's voice activated, so just ask for what you need and the room will provide. I will be waiting outside if you need me." The criminal then moved away, leaving Veil alone with her doubts and her thoughts, and pressed a palm against the door, opening it. "Get as much rest as you need."

Post Re: The Fall From Grace [For Veil]
As awkward as the conversation had been and the silence that followed was, it was none the less welcomed as it gave her time to rest, relax and just dwell inside of her own mind in peace...or at least as much peace as one such as her could ever find. She had come to learn quite quickly that the A.D.D didn't trust her and wasn't terribly surprised by that. They had kept her in containment, sealed away as they questioned her over and over as to who she was, where she had come from and perhaps most importantly what she was. She had answered some of their questions and out right refused others as they had kept her imprisoned while they determined whether or not she was a threat to humanity. She didn't tell them she had once been human, that she had once had a life of her own...she didn't tell them that she had learned it was their fault she had come to find herself in the slavers hands that had tormented her so. She didn't tell them any of these things because she had planned to use their own resources to try and save as many others as she could from ever sharing in the fate that had befallen her. Her goals hadn't been entirely noble, there was one person above all that she was interested in saving and while she might not have been able to interfere as things were currently she would make damn sure she didn't fail.

Veil hadn't noticed that the ride had come to a stop until she was being lifted into the air once more by the criminal whom had perhaps inadvertently caused her to fully examine the hard truth of her own life. She stayed ever quiet, her eyes distant from her thoughts as they made their way into the compound and into the guest quarters. Placed down on the bed, Veil only nodded in response him. As the man turned and walked away from her, Veil's black wings fanned out once as she fell backwards onto the bed and just laid there. Sprawling out she drew in a deep breath, her full breasts pushing against the black silk and upwards towards the ceiling and giving a hard and much needed stretch. Given her nature as A.D.D scientists had determined, Veil was capable of going for weeks without sleep without really pushing herself and much the same with food and water. That itself had made her a prime candidate for the Special Operations Group within them and with everything else she had been capable of there was little other path she could have taken. Her human side still craved these things however whether it was because of doing these things made her feel more human than she was or just habit Veil didn't know. As confused as she was about everything, Veil just let all her thoughts, fears and worries drift and float away as she lay on the soft mattress beneath her while she staring absently at the ceiling above. An hour or so would pass before Veil finally stirred and spoke with the voice activated computer about getting a meal. The meal itself might have been tasteless but that put it miles above being awful which in her line of work and depending on the mission happened far more often.

After eating Veil simply sat the tray and empty glass back down upon the night stand beside her bed and attempted to stand up once more. Using the wall for support she slowly and cautiously made her way to the shower, hugging tightly to the wall as her legs felt like jelly underneath her. She shouldn't have used that tonic. Her pride had caused her to act rashly and now she was paying the price for it. Everything was just to much. The countless missions back to back before she had been sent to this one, the tonic and the torture and the release from the drugs hammering her body were just to much as her legs buckled once more and she slid down the wall. Breathing heavily, she closed her eyes and rested her forehead against the wall. She supposed she should be thankful in some small way, that a regular human probably wouldn't have been awake and if they had been probably not able to move but that was little comfort. The short black robe clung to her athletic frame as she sat own her knee's, the shortness of the robe riding up and revealing her creamy thighs and well toned backside. She'd rest here for a moment and give it another go.

Post Re: The Fall From Grace [For Veil]
As he left the Agent to ponder about herself, Takeru stood outside beside the door, remaining silent and immobile as he allowed himself to link up with the core systems, becoming 'plugged' in to the rest of the planet as he began going over all the reports and updates he had missed lately, information already processed by all the other Takeru, with their own notes, suggestions, and comments. This was the key to his real strength, the reason he still stood at the top after many attempts to take him down. By remaining in constant communication with all other incarnations of his persona, he could expand his own neural abilities, rapidly improving his calculations and thought processes. It was much similar to a network of computers, each boosting the strength of all others. By staying in touch, he remained synchronized with the rest of his growing criminal empire.

He could see that A.D.D forces had indeed arrived in the Rosso system after their departure, alerted by the Agent in his grasp. They had been destroyed, though, by superior firepower and the element of surprise, ripped apart between warships attacking on all sides. With both the cloaking foil his warships were equipped with and the destructive power of his cannons, it would take more than just a strike force to deal him any real damage. He had taken losses, though. However, in the wreckage of so many A.D.D ships, he had seen the beginnings of a new plan, one to drive the Agent into his waiting arms. A small grin spread on his lips, one that was soon disrupted as sensors alerted him to the Agent's fall.

Entering the room quickly, Takeru looked over toward the shower, and saw Veil sitting against the wall. Obviously she had tried to make the attempt to the shower, and had less strength than she estimated. Saying nothing, Takeru merely began unbuttoning his shirt and removing it, revealing a bare and immaculate chest. Tossing away the shirt onto the bed, the criminal went over to Veil, leaning down onto his knees and pushing an arm around her back and allowing her arm to rest onto his shoulder. "We'll have our scientists bring up stronger strength boosters." Takeru spoke quietly as he helped Veil up to her feet, using his strength to support her and allowing her to use less strength than it took to stay up. "It can't be helped though, so I will assist with your shower and you don't have to worry about any crass behavior from me nor will I speak in the meantime."

Takeru spoke as he helped Veil toward the shower, pressing on the door to open it and entering the equally plain washroom. The shower in question was a simple cubicle, with no door or curtain and just a single shower head and drain. It appeared to be voice activated as well for there were no means of controlling the water. "Shower, on. Warm, please." The criminal ordered, and the room complied, allowing warm water to begin spraying out of the head. He too removed his shoes and pants, leaving only the black boxers on. For being such an advanced creature, he was still quite human in some ways. "Your robe?" Takeru inquired, nothing in his voice but a cool tone that carried no ill vibes in them but left no room for argument, especially not when she lacked the strength to move satisfactorily.

Post Re: The Fall From Grace [For Veil]
Held against him and his now bare chest as she was while the two of them walked towards the bathroom, Veil's uncomfortable feelings only magnified. She had figured he would have been caught up in his own affairs and that she probably wouldn't see him again until far later, but it would seem that he had in fact been waiting outside of her door way. She didn't like being helped like this, it made her feel so weak and like a burden yet there was a part of her that enjoyed the warm closeness of her captor. He seemed so alive...nothing like a machine at all. The poison might have fled from the antidote but after having been put into such a lustful state a part of her couldn't help but remain unbelievably horny and still unsatisfied as none of those orgasms she was put through had satisfied her. His proximity to her and how his strong arms held her was infuriating and only served to confuse her even more so. He seemed so much different now than when he had first captured her and yet not different at all. Veil only nodded to his words, her eyes following as the criminal stripped down to his boxers.

"Your robe?"

Pulled from her wandering thoughts by those words, Veil's hands went to the small sash like belt wrapped around her waist. Pulling the robe open and slipping free from the black silk that had been covering her, Veil's perfect milky skin was revealed once more. Offering the criminal back the only article of clothing that had been covering her felt a bit odd. Well no more odd than anything else that had really happened as of late. As her robe was placed with his own clothing the two of them stepped inside of the small square shower. Still held standing by Takeru and confined close to him by the shower itself, Veil turned around away from him. The warm water cascaded against her and ran down her naked body as it seemed to pull the soreness out of her body. Wobbling a bit, Veil took a small step backwards pressing back to the man behind her. She wasn't used to having another so close to her and she certainly had never been in the shower with anyone else before. Pulling away a bit, Veil kept her face forward as she could feel her cheeks burning from the faint blush that had crept up onto her face. "Sorry...for...for being such a burden...you don't have to help me..." That was all she could think to say before she got about washing herself, making it a point to not look back at the man standing behind her.
