Searching for Common Ground (Lexi)
Shai looked over the schematics of the buildings once more. She sat silently in the courtyard, not saying anything to anyone as they passed but all it took was a steel-gray glance to send curious onlookers on their way.
Stormbringer had conveniently volunteered her to go over the University’s schematics to see which rooms were in use and which ones were being wasted. It wasn’t one of Shai’s preferred tasks, but it came with the job. Surprisingly enough though, Shai was shocked that the School was efficient as it was. Many of the dark, dreary, unused rooms weren’t wasted. Pan had recorded several activities in them on some of his late night data collections and this satisfied Shai well enough. Though, there were some professors that were requesting more space and monsters demanding living spaces for their stay on the island and poor Shai was responsible for keeping everyone happy…or else.
Her papers were sprawled out on the table and the Engineer was hard at work, blue ink smeared against the outer palm of her left hand as she scrawled measurements and notes on the side of the plans. It wasn’t until a heartwarming laugh caught her ear that her attention was torn away from her work. She lightly looked up, her silvery locks sliding away from her face as she caught sight of a tall, beautiful brunette.
“Fenris?” Shai breathed, feeling her chest tighten as though she could barely take in air. The sun’s golden rays hit the student off in the distance just right and made the Asian teen a dazzling sight to behold. Long slender legs, lustrous flowing hair, soft golden brown eyes beaming with an honest smile. Shai felt a flurry of hope and even rose from the bench ready to run and embrace the girl. Shai blinked several times and realized that no- it wasn’t her old friend and her heart sank back into her seat in apathy.
”Take her…” Shai felt her uniform tighten against her body, the warmth of the demonic suit tingled against her skin like a thousand needles. ”Wouldn’t you like to taste her Shai?” Several haunting images flashed through her mind. The girl tied up, Shai’s tongue sliding against her glistening, silken, fawn folds, the girl cries in ecstasy. Perhaps she could use the girl as a bed warmer for a just a while…
The Head Girl brought her fingertips to her temples and pressed hard, fighting to maintain control against the suit. The urgings of the suit had been becoming more and more frequent as of late, probably due to Shai’s inactivity with the Head Master and the Students. So much so that the Head Girl found she had fallen into the burning desires of the suit. Dr. Paul Epsis had allowed Shai her freedom from the demon Grail’s connection, and even some control over the damnable suit but it hadn’t freed her from the entity itself.
The Head Girl watched from her peripheral as the perfect uniform shuddered against her skin, threatening to dissipate at any moment. She held onto that moment where she almost felt human again, that lingering hope that she had seen her dear friend, and that she was not some callous, cold creature and that she had a heart somewhere inside of her and slowly the suit calmed.
Shai gathered up the schematics and floor plans and packed them neatly away in her shoulder bag. She kept out a smaller version of the map where several rooms were outlined, rooms she had to investigate.
She wandered aimlessly from room to room, most of the time finding nothing but she had run into a couple of pixies, nonsensical little things and had sated their lust with the promise of three women in the evening, when they saw her entrancing blue sash and long snowy-white hair they immediately knew she would keep her word as she had done with several creatures on the island. Still her mind was elsewhere. She had to find a way to maintain full control over the suit, and throughout the weeks she had collected book after book with little to no information on the matter.
Ask Stormbringer for help? That was laughable, he rather enjoyed when the suit responded to his touch and had told her “You test my patience and waste my time.” Among other things, which Shai didn’t dare to relive in memory of when, she’d merely suggested he help her. While she had more resources than most anyone on the island, Shai had hit a dead end and it seemed that Grail had long left the island to slumber once again so she had no means of ridding herself of the damnable and pesky suit.
”Perhaps I’ll make a stop by the library when I’ve finished.” Who knows, she might get lucky. So it came that Shai found herself traversing a flight of stairs onward to the last room she had to visit for the day. She felt the hairs on the back of her neck stand on end and a chilling cold permeate her to the bone as she neared the door. She narrowed her gaze for several moments on the doorknob before reaching out a hand and turning it slowly. It was icy to the touch and the student readjusted her sash with her free hand, taking care that it was in full view before pushing the door open.
The room itself was unimpressive. Wooden floors, hardly decorated, a single desk with a candle burned only halfway with a box of matches lying next to it. However, the objects that caught the Head Girl’s eyes were the collection of books that littered the room. She gave a cursory glance around the darkened room before stepping inside. She felt for a light switch and found that it did not work. ”Of course.” she murmured under her breath. She opened the door wide allowing the sunlight to cut through the darkness before making her way to the desk. She gently lifted the box of matches and struck one, lighting the candle.
She picked up her notebook and scrawled some notes. ”Seems to be a private study of some sort, doesn’t seem to get a lot of student traffic, find out if any…thing inhabits this room before approval for use.” Shai took a closer look at some of the books in the room and started to cautiously, but slowly read the titles. Mythological Creatures, Demonology for Dummies, Summoning from Beyond…Demonic Relics. There! That one caught her eye and she withdrew it from the pile and took it under her arm. She wandered over to the desk and started to briefly scan over its contents.

Re: Searching for Common Ground (Lexi)
How absolutely bored Lexi was today. Normally she didn't mind attending classes, listening to lectures or even reading over the class materials but today was just dragging onwards. The teachers knew she wasn't a registered student and that she certainly hadn't signed up for their class but they hadn't ever said anything to her about it. As a matter of fact they even helped her with her guise by letting her participate in class activities and tests. Lexi had learned they were likely in on the whole affair that took place here and that even some of them were actually other creatures themselves. Of course that as she had learned was a bit of a double edged sword having already earned the attentions of one of the Islands other inhabitants. That had been an interesting encounter, though many of those she had thus far had been as such and quite informative. She was half tempted to excuse herself from this class for today as she had already finished this History classes text book and the Professor was just droning on about the incorrectly written details as they had appeared in that startlingly inaccurate book. Then again the only way to know the truth in such matters of History was to have been there to witness it first hand. Still she could have been making better use of her time than listening to someone recite what she had already read. What were they going to do? Give her detention? All the other students were paying rapt attention to the lesson for today, so she couldn't even entertain herself by chatting with them. Her soft lips formed into a pout as she sulked, golden eyes narrowed as she went back to taking notes and pretending to be like any other student. She certainly didn't want to draw attention to herself until she had a better handle on this whole pretending to be human thing. Pulled from her thoughts the slight pulse of one of her servants wishing to speak with her washed across her senses. It was Valtus, a once great human wizard whom she had twisted and turned into a demonic servitor. She had left him with the task of watching over her personal sanctuary and guarding those few books she had left behind in her absence. As much as she knew Valtus would not fail her, she was hardly going to leave her own personal books or herself just lying around. No, she carried those with her and in her book bag at all times unless she was in that room. That wasn't to say the books there weren't valuble and that she hadn't hidden away the few books of actual arcane value within the room itself. Those that were hidden were marked and any disruption would have altered her. So she knew his bothering hadn't involved her precious treasures. Already irritated by the way classes were going she responded with a short, "What?" "Mistress, pardon the interruption however I think you should know another student has wondered into your private study." Lexi had been tempted to cut him off right there and tell him to just get rid of her but best to wait and hear the full report, perhaps she would have a reason to leave this class after all. "I know you wished me to simply take a silent count of whom took interest in the books you had left behind and later learn of whom they were, but I felt this was important enough to contact you." Lexi smirked to herself, so that's what it was. He was trying to make up to her in his own way by proving his usefulness. "It seems that a Head Girl has found her way into the room and is currently reading over one of those books." A Head Girl? What a fortunate turn of luck her smirk turning into a small devilish smile. "Valtus, I'll be there shortly, keep yourself hidden and do nothing." Rising from her seat, Lexi quickly tucked away her all of her classwork and books. Slinging the bag over her shoulder Lexi quickly made her way back towards her room. Her room was closer than the Library had been and while she could have just whisked herself away using magic, she wanted to appear as normal as any other student, not wishing to risk the chance that one would see her just vanish into thin air. She wanted to drop off a few things as well before dropping in and seeing exactly what her guest was up to. Getting to her room in a hurry she quickly dropped off her school books and work. Her room was still quite barren as well and one wouldn't have been sure a student was even living there save the books, folders and other miscellaneous school supplies that sat neatly ordered upon one of the desks in the room along with her bed. Soft satin and silk sheets covered the bed, immaculate and pulled tight with multiple plush feathery pillows covering the top of it. She really needed to get to work on making her room a bit more...personal. One touch Lexi had made to the room was connecting her private study with her private chambers, it allowed an ease of access to the Library as she had certain come to enjoy curling up on her bed with a good book to read. Running her finger along the hidden glyphs beside her closest, Lexi channeled the magic required to access the portal and opened the door ever so slightly as she slipped inside. To those inside the room it would appear as if she had come in from the Library like any other would have. Having quickly closed the door behind her, Lexi might have seemed like a student that knew she was somewhere she didn't belong trying not to get caught while doing so. As the door clicked shut and the portal bridging the two rooms together closed Lexi blinked at the white haired woman sitting at her desk and reading. Sealing the door of her sanctum shut with a thought, Lexi gave the very serious and stern looking woman an innocent grin as she cheerfully greeted her, "Good Afternoon!"

Re: Searching for Common Ground (Lexi)
As Shai’s eyes hungrily read throughout the information in the book she was slowly realizing that it was nothing more than rubbish. A work of fiction perhaps somewhat similar to a D&D bestiary the only difference being that it logged information on artifacts, not factual devices. The nigh-albino could only shrug and let out an exasperated sigh as she leaned backward in the chair and closed the book. She stayed there for a while, her eyes fixated on the book and wondered what she had really expected? Life seldom throws the answers you need right into your lap, why should this tribulation be any different.
With her right hand she ran her delicate fingers through her angel soft locks at her crown, brushing the stray tendrils from her face. She had been running around all day and while there was a bit of an ominous tone to the room she was always one to appreciate a good rest when she needed it. Leaning backward in the chair the Head Girl let her eyes flutter closed for a few moments, when a soft but cheerful voice wrought her attention.
”Good Afternoon!” It rang, and the Head Girl slowly opened her eyes, careful not to show the bit of a shock the voice out of nowhere had given her. She turned her head slightly to regard the slender blonde that stood to her left, near where the door was, which Shai now noted was shut.
”Is it so? I’d hardly noticed with all the work I’ve been doing,” Shai said with a rather bored tone as she flipped her long tresses over her shoulders and the front legs of the chair returned to the ground. The Head Girl stood and smoothed her uniform and faced the young woman to observe. She didn’t seem to be old enough to be an upperclassman, but something about her cheerful disposition made the Head Girl a bit uncomfortable.
”Shouldn’t you be in class?” Shai said with a lifted brow, her eyes gleaming a sea blue. ”Or perhaps this room belongs to you.” It was more of a statement rather than a question, and being as such Shai repositioned her hand to rest at her waist, where a pale blue ribbon dangled from the side of her blouse.

Re: Searching for Common Ground (Lexi)
Lexi wrinkled her nose and furrowed her brow cutely for a moment, almost as if pouting a bit at the Head Girls unmistakable statement about whom this room belonged to. She had expected this woman to be aware of the creatures and the activities around the island as the other staff had seemed to be but Lexi hadn't thought she would uncovered so quickly. Lexi felt she probably could have played it up a bit and convinced the Head Girl here that she was an actual student. Though doing such she felt would have been counter productive to why she had even wanted to speak with her in the first place. She doubted most students would have greeted a Head Girl with such enthusiasm if they had been caught ditching class as well. Taking in a deep breath and letting out a sigh, Lexi's pouting pink lips curled back up into a smile as she gave a nod while her bright amber eyes remained ever focused upon her. The girls emotions were hard to get a feel for aside from that small jolt of surprise she had felt ripple off from her as she had given her greeting and the faint traces of discomfort lurking beneath the surface of the cold, calm and collected exterior. Lexi always pondered human behavior, analyzing it as she ever tried to learn more about why they did certain things. Had she stood to assert her dominance over the situation as she was a few inches taller than Lexi's doll had been? Had she placed her hand upon the ribbon to draw attention to the fact she was a Head Girl? There were spells that she could have used to delve into the woman's psyche to discover those answers but as curious as she was other matters held far more importance to her. "I just left class actually." Lexi replied still quite cheerful. "but I left early because the Professor felt it was better to read lines right from the book itself instead of adding anything insightful into his lecture today." Her eyes shifted over towards the desk and the book sitting atop it, narrowing briefly but not commenting upon such things just yet. "Belongs to me? I am using this room for my own private studies though I'm really just borrowing it I think." Pushing off the wall from near the door, Lexi moved with nearly a skip in her step, her shining blond pigtails bouncing, held up by two twin red ribbons as she moved over to the desk. Her uniform hung tightly against her curves, obviously having been tailored to meet her exact measurements while her slightly shorter skirt danced against the backs of her slender thighs, threatening to show off more but never quite reaching the needed height. Picking up the book, she flipped through the pages briefly. "You are a student of the Arts or merely just curious?" Turning her head Lexi looked at the pile of books left she had left out. This book while mostly a fabrication written by those whom fancied themselves knowledgeable as did most of the books she had left out. Few of them held actual bits of true lore and knowledge but one had to know what they were looking for and be familiar with the subject. "Most of these books aren't really very good. Though most arcane books that have titles written down the spine and number more than one are often not worth the paper they are printed on." Turning back around to her guest. "I'm Lexi by the way, Lexi Myridon." She figured she would introduce herself at least while taking a moment to gauge the frost hued woman and before getting to the questions she had.

Re: Searching for Common Ground (Lexi)
Shai’s eyes never left the bouncing ‘student’ as she began to wander the room. More notably the Head Girl’s gaze lingered on the long, sunshine locks that sprang merrily in the woman’s gait. She felt a slight pang of jealousy at the golden luster of the locks, but the feeling disappeared as quickly as it had come. Shai visibly eased into a more relaxed posture at the rather unabashed if indirect admittance to Shai’s suspicions and her hand fell away from the ribbon’s tendrils.
Shai’s arms gently rose to a crossed position at her chest as the woman spoke. With the explanation of her absence from class, Shai was pleased realizing that the bubbly appearance and blonde hair were absolutely misleading and the creature wasn’t as dimwitted as she appeared. And when prompted by the question Shai offered little more than a smirk and a shrug and thereafter more than once nodding in slight agreement to the statements made about the books.
She also did not fail to notice the rather seductive ‘come hither’ movements of the girls hips as she made her way around the room, but the Head Girl did nothing to show that she much appreciated the sight, as slight of a suggestion as it was.
She scanned her memory for any mention of a student by the name of Lexi Myridon but found none and her memory never failed her. So her intuition was correct after all, and this particular entity had yet to be registered. Always thinking of the job. Shai thought to herself. After the formal introduction of the Head Girl seemed to relax even more so, a bit more confident in her position but still vigilant nonetheless.
”Shai Tanaka.” She offered watching as Lexi replaced the book on the desk. ”Well, you seem normal enough,” Shai said as her eyes scanned the girl’s body up and down, careful not to linger too long on the woman’s curves before her icy blue gaze returned to Lexi’s.
”Interesting enough though, since these books are apparently useless that you would take the time to collect them.” The Head Girl commented reaching into her bag and withdrawing the notebook. She flipped through a few pages and jotted down some quick notes before tucking it back away and returning to her impossibly straight posture. ”However, it is no business of mine and if you are indeed using this room I’ll take care to remove it from demolition.”

Re: Searching for Common Ground (Lexi)
Within this small room few feelings or emotions would escape Lexi's notice as she had felt the small flare of jealousy rise up inside of the Head Girl as she had made her way over towards the desk and pile of books she kept out for guests. Even though it had disappeared quickly, it had helped her gain a much better feeling about her guest and the type of person that she was. Other feelings were quick to follow as they had exchanged words and every bit of them seemed measured and controlled, tucked back away hidden from outwardly affecting her or her duties. She wasn't surprised as even the woman's icy appearance was undoubtedly planned precisely down to the detail, made to match the persona she showed to those around her. Yet underneath that cold steel of iron will and buried quite deep was something else, something warm and almost caring. That by itself would have been enough to have earned her interest. This meeting surely must have been fated as that stark contrast between them was unmistakable like night and day...or more accurately fire and ice. Lexi had not missed the Head Girl's hand move away from the her ribbon as she had not missed how the woman seemed to relax a bit now. She could only have figured that was from her being familiar enough with the creatures that had come to be on the Island and having quite impressively come to the conclusion she was one of them. It could have been entertaining to see what would have happened had she actually been a student, but she had already let that chance pass her by. Though from a few of the flickering traces she had felt coming from the Head Girl as she had happily bounced about the woman she didn't have to ponder very hard what might have been in store for her had that been the situation. The slight quirk of her head was pronounced by the bobbing of her pigtails as the Head Girl's icy gaze met with her own. The single burning candle's light seemed to be absorbed by those golden orb's making them seem as if a pool of hypnotic fire was dancing within as Lexi stared back towards her. She could sense a malicious and dark energy hanging about Shai, subdued and burrowed deep merged with the girls own spirit. Lexi's friendly smile stayed just as bright and warm as it had been. "Normal? Any other day I would dare you to define normal though I am sure having come here you've well learned just how deceiving appearances can be." The comment was really more directed back at Shai, letting her know in Lexi's own little way that she had seen past the icy deception. "I suppose it was only a matter of time before my arrival here would be noted, however those things aside it is nice to meet you Miss Tanka and I'm pleased to finally have been given the chance to speak with a representative from the school itself." With the introductions out of the way, Lexi turned about once more dropping her book bag from her shoulder and setting it down onto the floor in front of the book case. Bending down she begins to unpack a different assortment of rare and genuine tomes of mystical and arcane knowledge, wiggling her hips as the already short skirt slides upwards just barely revealing a hint of her turquoise and white stripped panties. The first four tomes were those she had actually hidden about the room while the last three were that of her own personal collection and her true self. Each book had been well tended to, though seemed quite old while she put them with care upon the shelves. The oldest of them was also the largest, an odd book with closed eye sitting upon the cover. After a brief moment while putting her books back into place, Lexi responds, "I didn't say that those books were useless, I just said that they weren't very good." Finished, Lexi takes a step back to look over her small collection with a sigh. "Though those books serve a purpose which is why they had been left out and why the room had not been hidden away from prying eyes." Lexi gestures off handedly, still not bothering to turn around. "Would you like to know what I find interesting?" With the question asked, Lexi quickly spins around to face the Head Girl once more, her skirt fully lifting up around her for that brief moment showing off her perfectly smooth and shapely thighs. As much as Lexi wanted to get onto asking her questions and finding out the truth behind the school, she also wanted to learn more about this woman beyond which she had already believed to have figured out. "I find it interesting that someone who is aware that such things are real would be even glancing at a book titled "Demonic Relics" much less devouring its contents." Lexi gave a wry smirk, pleased that Valtus had whispered Shai's activities inside of the room to her before her arrival. "Maybe you are looking for something to even the odds against those that lurk about the school? That is possible, but given your position I'd say you've probably accepted that fact. It could also be that you have in some form or fashion found yourself in possession of such and unable to rid yourself of it and whatever curse it may carry or how to use it. Though... you could just be a fool." Lexi pauses briefly, squinting her eyes for a moment, "Which I doubt based on how quickly you figured out I'm not actually a "registered" member of the student body. Am I close?" No matter what the Head Girl might say, Lexi knew she was.

Re: Searching for Common Ground (Lexi)
Shai’s eyes followed each movement the girl made, searching for any indication of attack and the young woman couldn’t help but be drawn into the spellbinding gaze apparition, if only for mere moments at a time. Their shadows danced around on the walls, fueled to life by the flame of the candle and more than once distorting either girl’s shadowy image into something wretched and ominous; as though they meant to mirror the conversation between the two. Not everything is always, as it seemed.
Lexi’s view on normalcy caused Shai to smirk lightly. “When you have encountered some of the creature’s I have, the word normal begins to take on a whole different meaning. Can you imagine an appearance accompanied to the name Izeirkahnrecknar?” The name was guttural and unearthly, and obviously alien with grotesque sounding origins. “You Miss. Myridon are about as Normal a creature this island can see, though do not mistake the comment for ignorance as I am certain that should I choose to delve beneath the surface of your disguise that you will be far from the word.”
Shai’s words were monotonous as she spoke and she seemed immovable in her position, as though she were some stoic statue that not even a tornado could uproot. Her glance occasionally fell downward as she watched Lexi unpack the rather archaic looking books. These piqued the Head Girl’s interest, though she did well to hide this. She did not fail to notice that books seemed to be Lexi’s primary interest- or perhaps knowledge acquired from them.
And so the theatrics began, the Head Girl thought bemused as Lexi began what seemed to Shai a bit of a lecture as she unpacked her tomes and tended to them. Shai feigned disinterest in the spoken words, but it was evident that as Lexi posed her rebuttal to Shai’s earlier subtle observation that the Head Girl was less than amused. Her features turned from bland to icy, as though she were daring the cute blonde to delve deeper. She took that dare.
Being a Head Girl gave Shai power, and while she may not be able to do much to defend herself against whatever creature this Lexi, was at the moment she could be sure to make things very difficult for her, if not impossible. Shai knew, that while few creatures that came to the island came for pleasure, most had a purpose; a driving motivational force that made these human girls a necessity, not a commodity. So, as Lexi stood there insulting Shai in not so many words, the cool, collected Head Girl had already begun her silent contemplations on the best course of action to take against her newfound ‘friend’. Still, something the girl had said hit home with Shai and if she had any information, perhaps retaliation over some silly words would prove juvenile and would deviate from her desire to gain full control over the damnable suit that plagued her. Time to begin the bargaining- surely Shai had something that Lexi would desire and Shai already had an idea on what she could use.
“Perhaps it could just be that I’ve a hunger for knowledge and the title caught my eye, nothing more. I trust your stay on the island has been pleasant thus far Miss. Myridon,” Shai began, tightening her grip against her forearm, though it seemed that the words spoken by the book had hardly stung Shai. “However the island is outfitted with several inhibitors to keep our more…gifted students from putting up much of a fight against patrons like yourself. If you haven’t had a chance to meet a representative before me, then it is fairly safe to say you may have felt the gnawing pressure of these inhibitors. Now obviously, these are calibrated for humans in particular but they’ve been known to inhibit other species as well. I can arrange for an anti-inhibitor to be given to you at your discretion.” Business first.
“And if this room is unsuitable for your needs, we’ve a wide variety on the island to offer. Now if that would be all, I’ve work that needs to be done and as much as I’ve ‘enjoyed’ our little chat my work demands my time.” Shai said turning on her heel and walking with a seductive sway of her wide hips towards the door. She found herself pausing a few steps before though, and said over her shoulder. “But perhaps, if you knew of a book on demonic relics worth reading, do take into account that I would be all ears.”

Re: Searching for Common Ground (Lexi)
The Head Girl was of course right in Lexi's own regard. Compared to a human, a living book would have seemed out right odd and given not only this girls position but cool intelligence she wasn't about to just up and reveal her true nature. Lexi would not find herself making that mistake, nor had she missed the subtle shift in the atmosphere surrounding Shai. Every bit in tune with the emotional states of those around her, Lexi could tell her simple words had found purchase inside of the girl even if not a single sign showed upon her outward appearance. From her desire to look inside of those new books that had come to rest upon her shelves, to the icy yet unamused feeling at her own observation at the Head Girl's very persona she had only further confirmed her suspicions about the nature of the sinister aura that clung tightly to the woman's very spirit but seemed to be a separate entity entirely. Ever smiling Lexi turned to look over at her desk for a moment, getting ready to take a step towards it before coming to an abrupt stop as another of the vexing woman's emotions caught her attention. It was for only a moment that Lexi felt that strong urge coming forth from her, but it had been unmistakable. Her words had struck a FAR greater cord than she had even imagined and the girl had actually wanted to react in some form or fashion, likely to use whatever authority being a school representative had given her. So similar were the two of them as her own features remained as they had, no allowing the slightest clue she had sensed or even suspected anything. It was hard to tell if the comment about the inhibitor was a threat to go along with that feeling that it had preceded. Her own investigations or those of her minions had not yet moved onto the technology which the Island held and utilized. Lexi had felt the pressure of an unseen force pressing against her as if trying to suffocate her when she had arrived but it had not stopped her magic nor the spell which she had been forced to in-act to shield herself against it. A piece of that technology wouldn't do her much good at the moment, but worth getting hold of for future studies. "Oh, yes. Thank you Miss Tanka, I've found this place to be most interesting so far." Lexi didn't push the matter of the book Shai had been reading any further for the time, though a great many comments and thoughts had instantly sprung to the tip of her tongue about such. "And this room will be more than fine, so long as you and yours don't mind a little bit of redecorating."
Lexi's amber eyes shifted downward appreciatively as she watched her walk off and over towards the door, following the movement of her hips as her smile turned into a playful grin. Raising them to meet Shai's once more as she turned backwards to look at her, nodding once briefly at the comment of another book that contained knowledge that few humans should have ever been privy to. Shai may have thought their conversation was over, she may have even thought she was going to just leave the room and return to her work but Lexi had not sealed the door trapping the woman in here with her for no reason. She had questions that needed answered since her arrival here and after having spoke with one of the other creatures that used this Island she had a great many more that were going to be. "Leaving so soon Miss Tanka? I didn't mean for my words to send you running, I was just merely commenting on what I had seen. Please, stay. I'll have one of my servants prepare some hot tea and we can talk." Lexi teased, sending her own little reply to that challenge. With that same sing song bounce in her step Lexi moved over behind the desk and flopped into the plush leather chair, wiggling a bit as she got comfortable. Without a single word spoken a man appeared before the desk. Long black hair hung neatly pulled back away from his face in a pony tail, storm clouds rolled inside of his eyes as lightning flashed from moment to moment while he stayed bowed before Lexi as if awaiting her order. He wore a simple and plain black robe over his lean build, a pair of well worn boots covering his feet. Even without any extra sensory perceptions there was a sinister aura that exuded from this man and cast a shadow of his handsome, angular features. "Get Miss Tanka here a chair as well, if you would." Lexi said to the man as if simply requesting the action taken, not a hint or trace of a command to be found anywhere in her voice. Bowing his head lower, "Yes Mistress." Taking two steps backwards before even daring to raise his head, the man stood back upright and made a quick yet small gesture, whispering the incantation and releasing the spell. As he had appeared so did another chair, just as plush as the one Lexi now rested in. "I will return with your drinks." Bowing once more, he simply vanished and Lexi just waited. Either the Head Girl would accept her offer and join her, or she would refuse, test the door and discover that it hadn't actually been a request.
