Monster Bio/Profile
Even the brightest of lights can have a black core.
Name: Seraph The Fallen
Race: Fallen Angel
Type: Fallen Angel
Place of Birth: Unknown
Gender: Male
Nationality: None
Age: Unknown
Height: 7' (213 cm)
Weight: 240 lb (109 kg)
Eye Color: Gold
Skin Color: White
Skin Texture: Silky
Hair? A pony tail that reaches the base of his neck
Hair Color: Blond
Tentacles? Can split the 'feathers' of his wings into tentacles. Each wing can split into 6 tentacles
Number of Tentacles: 0-24 (Depending on if he has shattered one of his wings or not)
Wings? Yes, has 4 wings (two on each side) each made up of 6 'feathers'
Wingspan: His wings are formed by him focusing the massive amount of mana that he possesses and Seraph holds about 75% of his mana inside his wings. Due to this the exact dimensions of his wings change based on what he desires.
Wing Color: His wings are seemingly made of solid light. However as the wings themselves are just mana sheathed in a containing spell it would be logical to assume that he could sheathe them in a binding spell from any school of magic if he wanted.
Cock Size: Variable
# of Cocks: Variable (usually 1)
Fighting Style: Prefers to use light magic (By light magic I mean light you see by, not 'good' magic), but will use any school of magic if needed. Dislikes using brute force physical techniques, but if pressed he will use them.
Motivation: Amusement.
Psychological Profile: Is only interested in finding entertainment, usually at the expense of students, although he is not above toying with other monsters if he sees possible entertainment from it. While he will use magic and 'feathers' (as he calls what his wings segment into) to arouse his chosen entertainment he does not usually enter any part of them unless they ask, or more likely beg for him to do so.
Personality: Seraph is usually completely calm and it is rare for his face or voice to display any emotions at all. Even in the middle of intercourse or if he is at climax he does not show any emotion. However there are a few exceptions. When he is amused or entertained by something he will smile, the larger the smile the more entertained/amused he is. Being called a Demon (despite the fact he, as a Fallen Angel, technically is) will almost always send him into a rage, and he will generally start to use his more powerful magics to punish whoever reminded him (Usually by using one of his wings to create a pocket-dimension that he can shape at will before using his soul sight to determine their greatest fears which he will than use against them). Seraph still maintains some of his angelic nature, although it has been warped by his own mind long before he found himself in Shokushu. If someone willingly entertains him, and/or does a good job he will generally do something to aid them. However he makes sure that any direct attack spell he provides is only helpful when he is nearby or for a short period after his seed enters their body (an example would be teaching a magic user a spell that requires more mana than they can summon, meaning they can only use it when they have the mana field around him to draw on)
Special Trait: If something reminds Seraph of his time as an Angel and as the judge and executioner of Heaven it will polarise him, he will either be filled with regret and mourning for what he had, or he will lose his temper at whatever reminded him.
Human Disguise Form?
Since Seraph is little more than a soul with enough power to directly influence the physical world it's visible appearance is whatever Seraph wants it to be, although sheer habit reverts it to the appearance he usually has. Because of this he can change his appearance at will, however his wings must always remain. (He can however use a light magic spell or illusion to hide them from sight)Human Disguise Appearance: Variable
Clothing: In human form whatever he feels like.
In angel form has 3 main forms of dress:
The first is no clothes at all, and usually involves some of his wings wrapping around his body.
The second is a robe seemingly made of gold that covers most of his body.
The third is his armour (Pictured below)
Special Attributes: Can 'see' peoples souls, allowing him to read surface thoughts, emotions and a persons darkest secret or thought, but he cannot alter them. The level of mana he possesses is excessive, and what he considers a minor amount leaks out into the air around him creating a 'bubble' of about 5 meters (varies based on number of wings he has and his mood). This 'minor' amount is far more than most humans ever even consider reaching and someone who has magic can tap into this energy for considerably strengthened spells. It also causes anyone in the 'bubble' to feel energised and aroused. His seed creates a similar bubble around anything with a soul it touches, but fades anywhere between 1-30 minutes after it leaves his body.
Mana Addiction: Anyone exposed to high amounts of mana starts to crave more, and the more you are exposed to the more you want. However for most humans the addiction fades anywhere between 1-60 minutes after contact with a high intensity mana source fades. There are exceptions to this (some humans once addicted never break free of that addiction) but such humans are rare. This addiction is not biological but is instead magical and as such it is nearly impossible to have resistance to its affect.
Sight: Seraph was created with a limitation on his sight. He did not need to see any soul bar those with a 'black' soul, and as such he can see anything without a soul not in contact with a soul, and any soul that has either 'black' thoughts and emotions or has committed some great crime. He can also see mana and magic quite clearly.
*N.I.C.E. labs note* Seraph's sight seems to be expanding as he spends time as Shokushu, allowing him to percieve souls that are more 'pure' than before. It is theorised that over time he could potentially have full ability to percieve all humans. Exact reason is unknown at this timeDistinguishing features: His eyes are completely gold, including the pupil iris and lens. Wings made of pure mana sheathed in light.
Behaviour: Seraph usually seems bored with the world, but as something catches his interest that boredom fades and he focuses completely on whatever has interested him. He particularly enjoys watching the soul of a female when she reaches climax, although he does enjoy causing humans to hate angels in general as well.
Capabilities: He is a master of every school of magic, and also can shatter one of his wings to cast a reality warping spell. Since Seraph is also a divine being he is far stronger and faster than would be expected for his size. Can teleport short distances and make his body intangible at will.
Gold Flowers: After his first encounter with a student Seraph has adopted a technique of making a gold colored flower (either growing it with plant magic or creating it with his light magic) and enchanting it with a Compel (Causing the first person to see it have a strong desire to pick it, and once they pick it to do anything they can to not have to let it go) and a Hypersensitivity (As long as the flower is in contact with someone their nerves are hyper sensitive). After he finishes with his entertainment he places the Hypersensitive enchantment in a dormant state (which it can be awoken from by a command word which he does tell the student) although the Compel remains active and he adds a trace spell to ensure he could find some entertainment again if he doesn't feel like looking too hard. If someone is in contact with multiple flowers the strength of the Hypersensitivity spell is increased ten fold (2 flowers have 10x the effect as a single flower)
Weaknesses: Struggles to see someone whose soul is 'pure' and has no 'dark' emotions (Such as anger, fear, guilt, shame) and Can easily lose track of time.
Likes: Being free of the Void Plane, entertainment
Dislikes: Being Bored, When beings say they will do something they cannot actually do, Angels.
Hates: Being called a Demon (While he technically is a demon and he has little problem with other Demons he does not like to think of himself as one and prefers the label fallen angel. Being called a demon is almost guaranteed to cause him to lose his temper)
History: While Seraph was not one of the first or oldest angels, he was easily one of, if not the most powerful. Created after god was betrayed by Lucifer, the first demon, Seraph was tasked with hunting down all who sinned and making them pay for their sins, be they mortal or immortal. After millennium of existence Seraph had developed his own personality, and with self awareness came boredom as he found the tasks assigned to him easy. To give himself a challenge first he started crippling himself, not using certain techniques or refusing to hide his location from his prey.
Eventually he grew so bored that he offered his latest target, a succubus, a deal. If she could entertain him he would let her live. The succubus accepted, and ever since then Seraph has been drawn by sexual intercourse, the flares of emotions and the intensity of the soul during such acts being a lure he could not ignore. His actions were found out, but instead of execution (he was strong enough that if the Angels tried to execute them his attempt to survive would cause the deaths of a large number of high ranking angels and allow the demons to defeat them forever) he was banished to the Void Plane.
To ensure he could not escape the angels destroyed all traces of his existence, and removed both his true name (Seritiall-Razin-Phaos) and his common name (Seraph) from all records. However they missed a single tome of magic (known as the Darklight Grimore) in which he was described as the judge of sins, the bringer of divine retribution and one of the few beings, mortal or immortal, that has a mastery of every school of magic.
Darklight Grimore:The Darklight Grimore was a book that was written by Seraph when he was still an angel just after he started to become bored with his duty. At first it was a description of himself at time of writing, but when he finished that he added a listing of every being he had hunted down, but Seraph found making such a list boring and only wrote down the most powerful demons he had destroyed. The next three quarters of the Darklight Grimore was devoted to magic, but before Seraph could finish it he decided against writing such power in a form humans or demons could read and stopped. Casting a spell of concealment and teleportation Seraph hid the book, and by teleporting it away without a stabilised end point even he had no idea where it would end up. It only has about 1/100 of Seraph's magical knowledge, and only just covers what he considers 'basic' spells. However what Seraph considers basic is usually several magnitudes stronger than what humans consider master spells. In its current form it has 6 Chapters.
The Darklight Grimore is partly intelligent and can use a number of spells contained within its pages. It appears to be a A4 sized book with a slightly larger hard cover that is completely blank that appears to contains 1000 pages, although no matter what page you open it to you will only see what pages the Darklight Grimore wants you to read, although someone with a vast amount of willpower and who knows what they want to see will be able to influence what pages they can read. It also has 3 enchantments on it. An Alarm spell that alerts Seraph if someone reads it, A Compel spell that causes anyone who sees it to want to start reading it and a Misunderstanding spell that prevents anyone from reading Chapters 1, 2 and 5 without the Darklight Grimore's consent.
Seraph can use the Darklight Grimore to create a 'mirror' of the soul of anyone contained inside it. This mirror can be anchored to the book by Seraph's magic, and when anchored anything that touches the 'mirror' soul is also felt by the actual soul. This anchor can be strengthen by using a Wing Magic level spell that allows any spell cast on the mirror to count as if it was cast directly on the mirrored soul as if you were in direct contact and they did not resist the effect.
1st Chapter: A description of Seraph back before he fell and was exiled.
2nd Chapter: A description of various demons lords who Seraph was tasked to destroy.
3rd Chapter: The largest Chapter the 3rd Chapter contained only a single hundredth of Seraph's magical knowledge when he wrote it and only has spells whose casting requires such a small amount of magic that he regenerates mana at a faster rate than the spells inside can use it up.
4th Chapter: Seraph never wrote any chapter past the 3rd in the Grimore, instead after recovering it he discovered that it had written a new chapter that contained detailed information about every student at Shokushu.
5th Chapter: Seraph never wrote any chapter past the 3rd in the Grimore, instead after recovering it he discovered that it had written a new chapter containing detailed information about the various monsters that visit Shokushu.
6th Chapter: Seraph never wrote any chapter past the 3rd in the Grimore, instead after recovering it he discovered that it was writing a new chapter that recorded his encounters at Shokushu.
Thousand Blossom Garden:The Thousand Blossom garden was an idea he developed after
his encounter with the head girl Vera. Seeing Vera's use of magic he discovered that he could use magic directly to entertain himself, not just as a tool to cause others to provide him with entertainment.
The Thousand Blossom Garden is a magically created garden (Surprising isn't it?) Inside it contains a single flower made from each of Seraph's schools of magic. Every flower is unique in its appearance, and its effect one one who picks it.
The spells used to create it were cast on Seraph's usual meditation spot in the forest and far from the school. It is surrounded by various wards and spells that alert Seraph to anyone who approaches. The final spell that surrounds the garden itself is a simple one way barrier spell. Anything can enter it, but things can only get out if Seraph lets them.
It is also worth noting that this area is very saturated by mana, anything inside the garden is affected as if they are standing within Seraph's mana bubble. The mana itself is very stable, making it almost impossible to miscast a spell as long as your mind remains focused. Of course it also allows the 'flowers' to grow at unpredictable and rapid rates, and the exact location of most of the flowers varied with each hour.
The Garden is split into three sections, or rings.
The outer ring is fairly harmless, the only real danger that the flowers there have is a single flower of illusion. For the most part the other flowers are either completely harmless and/or simply entertaining. (for instance a flower might create a dancing ball of light that doesn't do anything but fly around the person who touched the flower)
The middle ring is more dangerous, but only because of the nature of the spells contained within it. The flowers here are not malicious or deliberately harmful, they simply are what they are. Primary flowers are the flower of life, a weed that grows on anything alive it touches, engulfing them and leaving them helpless against whatever Seraph desires, and the flower of death, a vine that covers large potions of the path. Depending on who has entered the garden the flower of death either puts one in a deep almost unbreakable magical sleep or it can cause death.
The Inner ring is the most dangerous, and the flowers here are malicious in nature. They will actively try and attack someone who has reached this far, and the only rule they follow is their spell cannot be activated unless something touches them. Notable flowers here are the flowers of fire, ice, bone, blood, shadow, nightmare, lightning, charm and light (Which completely rings Seraph's sanctum, the only way to get through is if Seraph lets you)
N.I.C.E Labs ObservationAfter careful assessment of the history recorded in the Darklight Grimore, and from several interviews (which were paid for via N.I.C.E labs providing Seraph some entertainment) a theory about the origins of the beings Seraph refers to as Angels, and of Seraph's own origin has emerged.
The angels originated from humans attempting to study the soul, and that study led them to discover magic. After discovering magic they started to apply it to prolong their life span, at first they could cause their soul to animate a dead body (A possibility emerged at this point that beings such as Zombies, Skeletons and Vampires are in fact mages on the path to 'Ascension'). Later the art developed to allow the soul to remain behind even without a body (Possibly a Ghost or a Banshee) and the final step was the ability to make the soul have a physical form and shape. Those who reached this step effectively became immortal, with magic being the only thing they must let affect them.
It is believed that upon reaching this state their was a divide between the new found 'angels'. On one side those who wanted to use their immortality and magical power to help humanity as a whole, on the other were those who wanted to use it for themselves. It is possible that at this point these two factions became ingrained into religious dogma, the 'angels' who wanted to help humanity, and the 'demons' who were only interested in themselves.
Seraph has no history before this split, and from his manner and abilities it seems highly likely that he was created after it for the sole purpose of combating the 'demons'. Speculation that he was formed from three separate 'angels' being fused into a single form arose from his three word true name, whereas all other beings recorded in the Darklight Grimore only have a single word true name. If true this would mean not only was his power originally triple any other angel/demon, but his rate of improvement would have also tripled. In short, not only would he have been originally more powerful than any other being in existence, that gap would increase rapidly as time went on.
N.I.C.E. labs observation #2
At times Seraph seems to suffer unusual mood swings, his voice changes subtly and while he still acts in a similar manner physically he seems to actually encourige students to fight, to resist and not simply submit to a monsters rape, either his or another monsters. In these 'moods' he generally becomes 'very' touchy towards any other monster in the area. After examination and study (with a number of close calls as Seraph noticed observing staff) three slightly different personalities have been identified in addition to the primary personality Seraph. It is also theorised that Seraph's growing ability to 'see' pure souls is linked to this. If this is true than extra precautions must be put in place in the event one of these personalities manages to either take over from the primary Seraph personality or break free of their fused state.Picture of Seraph from before his fall (His armour/clothing is something he can summon/unsummon at will):
