His target was moving ever closer, that small white haired robot that most would think was a sweet young woman, and as she neared the hallway to the commander's office she stopped just several feet from the mercenary as she heard an echo on the metal floor. She stopped to analyze the sound momentarily not knowing that she was giving the mercenary the time to hide once more.

'Thuuuun... thuun...' A sound echoed through the empty white halls of the base. Rahs did not know exactly where it came from, but it sounded close. In fact, it could've been even one of the mercenary's boots but the echo made everything sound close either way. He quickly turned to look at the room where he previously hid, and figured he would have to use it if he wanted to stay hidden in case any one decided to investigate.
The door closed and the mercenary was alone again in the room. He decided to spend the time it took an agent or Rin to come to look quickly for any clues about his target, hoping that no one would think of checking the rooms.

Walking forward once more she looked down the hallway to the commander's office managing to get a glimpse of a door sliding shut. Deciding to investigate she turned down the hallway, guns at the ready, as she stepped closer to the door. Her heavy steps would likely be heard by whatever was in the room. Not giving any warning as she stopped at the door, she opened it, and pointed her guns at the large being in the room while her brain quickly analyzed him searching the database of known criminals and mercenarys throughout the universe. Her small fingers were ready on the triggers so if one thought she was defenseless they would be sorely mistaken.

The mercenary thought he was safe for now, sighing as he decided to look for clues. But then, some quick heavy footsteps were closing in on him. Rahs cursed in his mind and opted for hiding behind the desk and hope for the best. But unfortunately, this robot obviously had no need for even a second to prepare for getting into a fight and opened the door when Rahs readied his rifle.

The time it took Rin's brain to search for his identity felt like eons for Rahs'. He was steadily growing famous in the ADD's list, specially for his way of treating the agents that dared to cross his path while he was on a mission. And even if it were only pure business and officially have never offended the Directorate, they were always trying to evade him. But now it was something undesirable.

Few were witnesses to the true prowess of the syrictae, and now it was going to be Rin's turn, but her brain wouldn't be able to think that it was actually incredible at all. Almost all of his muscles tensed as he pointed and fired his rifle at the cute looking robot, his rifle shooting explosive rounds that wouldn't seem to hurt Rin much, but at least they'd work better than normal ballistic bullets. Immediately after this, the mercenary docked behind the desk, hoping it would be tough enough to hold at least some of her rounds.

Her brain had just found him in the database when he fired his rifle, and as the bullets flew through the air she released a storm of bullets some catching the explosive rounds in mid-air setting them off and sending her sliding backward. "Rahs Xalezel, you have invaded a secure ADD base. Prepare to face your punishment." she said to him, switching to plasma rounds after seeing that he hid behind the sturdy desk. Taking aim at the desk she started firing, and the heat from the plasma rounds was quickly heating the metal desk causing parts of it to melt.

Punishment? Hehehe... Her words sounded funny to Rahs, and when she started shooting, he couldn't resist making a laugh. Trouble always meant fun for him, and now he had a deadly android trying to kill him. "It's not polite to not give your name, you know..." He said over the plasma shots she began to use and heated the desk with.

The mercenary could tell that the desk was not gonna hold out long. While he waited for a miracle to happen, he made sporadic fire against Rin, but knew it wasn't gonna work either. On his waist were a number of grenades he had equipped himself with. He took one of them and realized it was a shocking type grenade, designed to stun and electrify foes, and had a jamming effect on electronic objects. Guess it can work, but have to guess the ADD is ready for this too, he thought as he activated it and threw over the desk at Rin, his genetic modification rendering him immune to the grenade's effects.

She kept firing at the desk, not giving him a chance to think up a plan as it slowly deteriorated in front of him. Seeing the grenade manage to fly through her hail of plasma shots she stepped forward managing to plant a kick on it before it exploded. The shockwave pushed her backwards and although the electrical charge had managed to disable her guns it was not strong enough to do her any real harm. Dropping one of the now useless weapons she flipped the other around in her grasp intending to use it as a club as she made a mental note to have her mechanic fix her guns later.

Not one for caution she broke into a sprint, swinging her weapon downwards with enough force to shear through the desk and leave quite the sizable dent in the floor.

First came the explosion, and then clattering of one of her machine guns. This was the cue Rahs was waiting for to take a bit of initiative in this fight. Hearing her other one being moved as if cocked and the coming steps, he quickly rolled sideways. The desk was divided in two and the floor had a dent, a blow that would at least break his armor if he stayed there carelessly. But the robot found no mercenary there as he already was at her side.

His strength was enough to move a huge boulder if he really wanted, and so, with his shoulder ready, Rahs bashed her, one of his tentacles momentarily sprouting and pulling one of her legs only to try and topple her. But he couldn't wait half a second, and immediately jumped towards the door, opening it and running a bit down the hall. She has a tough shell to crack... even these round won't be enough to down her, the mercenary thought as he could already hear the heavy steps coming for him. He had to find a way to shut her down if the rifle and grenades he had equipped weren't going to do much work.

Seeing that the mercenary was no longer there she immediately started to turn taking a hit from his shoulder to hers and as she slid along the floor her robotic legs keeping her standing even after the powerful hit, she staggered forward after the tentacle managed to pull her foot off the ground. It wasn't enough to knock her down however as she soon caught her balance and ran after the fleeing mercenary dropping her useless gun in the hallway behind her.

She was quite fast, and soon she had him in her sights running full steam ahead trying to catch him. If he looked back she would likely be quite the sight, tiny fists balled and ready as she ran, and with a cold expression on her face. It might almost seem imposing if she wasn't built to look so cute, instead seeming like an angry girl chasing some boy as they ran down the hallway.

As the steps behind him drew closer, Rahs glanced back his shoulder and saw the cute robot girl running after him. He towered over her by more than one foot, and yet, even with small fists and all, proved to be kind of deadly. And pretty fast too, and this forced the mercenary to act in a more close up manner.

He turned around on one foot and then planted himself on the floor, leaving his rifle attached to his back, and having his hands up for a melee technique. But then again, she was so close already that as a natural reaction he waited to turn her own kinetic energy against her to crash her against the wall (which would end up damaging the wall definitely more than her) if Rin tried to punch him or to reach out. Hand-to-hand combat was one of his specialties, and he only hoped that the android's weight wasn't much greater than her height.

She saw him stop, turning himself towards her and readying a fighting stance. Pushing herself she ran even faster towards him as her fist hooked out towards him. Knowing that her momentum would leave her momentarily defenseless she prepared for his counterattack mid motion reading her other fist to block and putting her full weight into the fist flying towards him. She was not as light as she looked and it seemed that soon enough her opponent would find that out for himself...

Rahs noticed that Rin was prepared for his counterattack, but it was too late to change now. He instead tried mostly in doing it with her attacking fist, which wouldn't come out well. As it came to him, he sidestepped slightly before bending his knees suddenly and took her arm. With the little distance between the both of them and the impressive weight she had the result was both of them crashing against the wall.

Rahs barely scratched it, but Rin on the other hand left a big dent on it, her small size effectively applying more pressure. As the mercenary quickly tried to stand up and create some distance, he thought about not underestimating her appearance ever again. Where's the shut-down button when you ne--... and then he realized it, as he looked back to the hall where the commander's office was. Surely she would have heard the commotion, but was he gonna reach her before Rin took him down?

Unable to stop his counter to his attack, her momentum drove her into the solid wall leaving a dent almost as large as she was. Having slid to the floor during the impact she shook her head, almost like a humanoid motion of clearing out the cobwebs after such a hit, and stood back up. She was practically without a scratch as the massive impact had done little more then cause a few small tears in her dress leaving glints of flawless skin peaking out.

As Rahs walked towards the room where the commander was, he couldn't help but laughing in his mind that this robot was the first enemy in quiet some time to prove dangerous and actually made the mercenary to consider a way to shut her down quickly. He turned his head around and saw how Rin was already up and unharmed by the wall, only having some tears in her dress. But the tears... they revealed something that looked like skin.

His eyes lingered on the parts of skin showed and thought that it actually looked soft to the touch. Before looking at her, Rahs didn't think she'd be completely covered in what would be her skin, but it seems he was incorrect. The clattering of his armor when he kept stepping forwards brought him back to reality and hurried down the hall, searching for the door that would lead him to the woman.

Looking down the hallway Rin saw that he was almost at the other end of it by the time she managed to get moving to follow him. He seemed to be looking for something taking glances at the doors he passed while trying to stay far away from her.
