The node had been hidden above the door way attaching itself to the ceiling like a fly with its suction cupped tentacles. It was small, about the size of a quarter, and thus had gone unnoticed as it monitored the various students that had come in and out of the class throughout the day.

It pried into their minds and memories as it searched for anything interesting that Aegir may seek, reporting back its findings. Usually it found a new student or two that had perked its parent's interest but today it had been an older student that had gotten its attention.

There had been something strange with this mind, something not quite right. It had encountered this feeling, this sensation before which had come up in humans with multiple personality disorders. Often they were tougher to influence given that their brain patterns had been slightly different though Aegir had enjoyed a challenge. Such helped with the nearly constant boredom that Aegir lived with and thus when his node had contacted him about it's find Aegir perked up.

Never before had he tried something like this on a conscious mind and he did not know if such had been possible but he found himself studying the flow of memories that his node had provided, not just that but he had been curious enough to gaze through his nodes eyes to put an image to the information that he now received.

Creeping to a nearby tree, tentacles fanning out as if they were swaying in the wind. He closed his eyes in concentration as he had never before attempted anything like this on a conscious mind. Using his node as a conduit, he pressed his mind through it as he project mental energy into Diana. First he had taken his time as he mapped out her brain patterns, making sure that he had known where everything was first and foremost.

He briefly considered his exit strategy should things go wrong though he doubted that they would.

Projecting himself into her mind at the creative centers he formed an avatar of himself there, white eyes taking a look around thinking that a multiple personality would be in this portion of the brain.

He had not seen anything initially just rows and rows of filing cabinets that possessed this and that. containing ideas that she no doubt drew upon or thought of in her days, his mind reaching out to sense other sentient beings in the vicinity and chimed upon one nearby which he began slithering towards.

Since this had been a mental projection of himself and not the real McCoy as matters went he moved faster here than his usual sluggish self fueled solely by thought and mental energy rather than the a physical one.

Diana was sitting in her classroom, apparently unaware that her alternate persona had gotten her attention from one of the monsters that inhabited the school. Blinking as she felt... well she couldn't really describe it, a bit of light headedness maybe, but it soon ceased and she was fine... Lucia was oddly quiet.

At the same time, the alternate personality was in her portion of Diana's consious. Aegir was close to finding her, most likely because it wasn't the same as the rest of the files. In fact it was like an old mansion, just out there surrounded by a garden. It seemed that this was where she lived, a little place of her own creation that she stayed when Diana was the personality in charge.

Lucia found herself out at the front of the mansion, she felt something was there that shouldn't be, but she couldn't figure out what it was.

Slithering about he passed the filing cabinets leaving them be. Soon enough he could see light, a sliver of light at first though as he neared he could see that the sliver of light become a square, a pane of glass upon a door.

Oh, how he hated the light, at least bright light. Eyes squinted as he looked into the glare he had continued onward, reaching the door he reached out with a mauve hand twisting the knob to the right and opening the door.

He had been in a building. Some sort of hall or even a library as he found that the building itself emptied out into an emerald yard. Well yard hadn't been the word for it considering how massive it had been. Flowers and hedges carved into mazes and animals had been here indicating that he had found himself in a garden of sorts.

But he had been drawn towards the huge home, mansion, that had over looked this place from its hilly perch. It had been there that his mind had urged him to go. There that he began to travel as he slithered against emerald blades of grass that he trampled beneath thick tentacles that comprised of his legs.

He squinted a little, it was bright though not overly so and his sensitive eyes could deal with matters as they did there best to filter out the light that he had been taking in. His eyes were used to carving through the murk of deep water and had been attuned to deal with darkness, not brightness.

With little need of hiding himself or his presence he headed towards the mansion, his eyes seeing a figure upon its front porch and assumed this had been the personae that he had been looking for.

Luica walked out to the very edge of the porch that sat at the front of the house... there was definately something here that wasn't supposed to be, it was her place so of course she could find out what it was. Walking carefully to the stairs she would step out to look for... something. It had nevver occured to her that something outside could get in here. Diana was lucky if she even got to see the inside of this place. This would do, no not at all.

The weather in the area began to change, almost like on a whim, the sun would seem to blaze brighter, lighting up the area. It was Lucia's need for light, she wanted to be able to see everything and her brain interpreted it that she needed more light. Placing a hand as a shade she began looking for what it was... she actually wasn't even sure if this was something Diana had cooked up to scare her that didn't sound like diana at all.

Eyes squinting more shut than before he had nearly recoiled from the brightness alone and should have expected anything given that he was in the mind of another. He should have counted on this, knowing that he could do the same if he had wanted ... possibly.

Illuminated as he was she would be able to see his large humanoid body quite well. Numerous legs, 8 in total were actually tentacles though his upper torso had been human-like comprising of arms. About his mouth 4 tendrils swayed and moved as if on there own accord.

He paused as the volume of light increased, feeling no pain from it though he did feel the discomfort that it brought to him. But he had only paused for a few moments at the most before he came closer, figuring that the mansion itself would be less harsh on his eyes though the building he had just come out of had been closer to his current position it would have defeated the purpose in going back, especially now with his curiosity perked and knowing that he could invade conscious minds.

But forward he came, his words meant to be disarming as he sent her a simple telepathic message.

Greetings ... a pause as he sifted through her mind beginning with her memories. Lucia.

It seemed that the weather in her mind was dynamic, from light to a rather cloudy day now, she saw some strange tentacled creature. She glared at it, this definately wasn't good. She stood where she was, and then the mansion began reacting to how she felt. She felt scared even though she didn't show it, and as a defense mechanism, Aegir would find that he couldn't move forward, or back, or side to side. Something was stopping him. This was her domain, and it reacted to her feelings.

"What the hell are you... Tell me"

She wasn't going to mess around, she wasn't going to get attacked in her own home, not now, not again.

Storm clouds had been better for him. Eyes designed to carve through the muck of the deep sea his vision had been better in such a situation. He had not needed to worry about the discomfort that light brought him though he found that he could not move.

This had happened once before while digging around the mind of another as he projected his being within another's unconscious mind. Being no stranger to such a situation made it so he did not panic now or calculate what he could do to get out of the predicament at hand.

Instead he had found himself lying. You didn't know? Well I suppose not ... we're going to be roomies now, I am another personality that Diana created subconsciously representing her fears.

Being a telepath did have it's advantages. He sensed her fear, that she had been afraid of something though he knew that prying into her mind had been impossible. Being a creation of Diana she shared the others mind, while having her own thoughts nonetheless.

It had been rather complicated to explain though if he had wanted such knowledge he would have to drudge through the unconscious memories of her host for them where they had been stored.

Lucia heard the word 'roomate' then 'Diana had created'... that definately didn't sound like Diana, Lucia herself had existed for a long time, repressed by Diana's mind untill she found their body being attacked, in which she reacted. But this was strange... how could Diana unconsiously create something that looked like it was a monster of this school... maybe this thing was telling the truth, just maybe.

"You really think I'm that stupid? Why would I beleive that if she already has me?"

She bluffed, hoping that she would get a reaction that would prove that this wasn't just another creation of Diana's subconsious. But then again, the monsters of this place were crafty. The invisible walls didn't fault, she didn't want this thing in her place untill she knew what it was.

His mouth tendrils twitched as if caught up in a breeze. His actions would be readable by his own kind or those that knew him well as that particular formation of his tendrils represented a grin. His mind rummaging through Diana's as he tapped into her subconscious to draw upon the knowledge of Lucia.

White eyes focused on her while he had been held immobile. He did not test those barriers yet, there had been no need at the time given that the situation could be resolved with words. He had not appeared to be in any danger as of yet so breaking free was a non-issue.

That maybe but Diana has created me subconsciously ... you may represent her sexual exploits though I represent fear, the fear that she feels and wishes to be sequestered from. Think of it as shattering a mirror. Pieces are fragmented, there are many pieces making up the whole or what was to be that whole. Just like Sybil Diana has formed more than one personality, you being the initial crack on the surface of the mirror letting me exist and possibly others in the future.

I represent fear, the fear that Diana feels and thus resemble what she has the most to fear. As I look at things, we can co-exist amicably or not ...

He gazed to his sides as if taking in the invisible barriers that held him in place before turning his gaze back towards her. But if we don't get along I can be a formable enemy ...

"Sexual... exploits?"

Lucia almost wanted to laugh. She had nothing to do with Diana's exploits. If she remembered correctly Diana had exactly one human compainion. Other than that she was an innocent little flower. No, Lucia was Diana's defense mechanism for when there was danger, but recently Lucia hadn't been doing such a thing, she simply didn't want to be near those things that lived here on this island in secret. She could only help if it was another student trying to do something.

"If you know anything about Diana, you would know that the only reason she isn't a virgin is because the beasts that live here too... I've seen them"
Though having an enemy in here may not be the best idea, if this was just another personality.

While she spoke to him he fiddled with the barriers that hedged him in thinking that it would be wise to have a way out of matters should things go wrong. With his mind he prodded against this barrier believing that it had only been drawing upon Diana's subconscious.

It seemed as it would be an easy enough matter to divert this energy, displacing it through the mind itself though he had been impeded by his usual sluggish speed here he doubt that even by using the elasticity of his limbs that he could snare her from where he was.

He fell silent for a moment, using the time afforded to him to sneak a peak further into Diana's memories. Of course, I know that ... though you can not deny your place in such matters. Now, are you going to be nice and release me or should we accomplish this the hard way?

He had not sounded impatient, merely bored. His tone almost matter of factly as if he were a teacher instructing a class about something that they ought to know. Already his compound mind seized hold of the various possibilities open to him.

Of course if he had been still imprisoned he could use a portion of his mind to dissolve this barrier while reaching out to her through his telekinesis, but for the moment he had been content to allow her to think that she was entirely in charge of the situation. He figured that he would judge her reaction before determining what he would do about the situation.

Lucia didn't know what to think of this thing... it seemed to know what it was talking about, and maybe he was making sense to how he was created... and if he could do the things she could do in this little world, why make him an enemy. It didn't make her much happier about having a roomate either.

"... Ok, I guess"

The things keeping still would be removed, she put her hands behind her back and looked to the ground... Diana would of wanted her to be nice to a new comer so why not?

"Sorry I was so... edgy..."

Feeling, rather than seeing, the barriers go down he slithered forward, mouth tendrils twitching as he closed the distance between them. He came to the other limits of his range, that was if he were to stretch out his limbs as far as he possible could.

Thank you. He said to her as he moved forward. That's so much better, besides your going to enjoy having some company for awhile.

He took advantage of her confusion using it to move closer still. When he came within a few feet of her, white eyes peeled over her, his mouth tendrils twitching into the formation of his kind's smile. For a moment he had remained silent, tentacles twitching on the ground.

Then he spoke, his tentacles streaming into action intending on entwining about her wrists and ankles.

Foolish. How foolish you are. So trusting and see what it has gotten you?

Lucia's eyes opened in shock as the monster infront of her had its tendrils extend and wrap around her wrists and ankles. She glared at it, she knew Diana would get her into something like this one day... what could she do now?

"I TRUSTED YOU!"

It was a typical thing to say, but in actuality she was buying time to think her way out of this. Though her world was definately hard to stop, she found that when something else was here as well, she couldn't use all of her power over it. She struggled against him, trying to break free.

And trust is the biggest liability of all. He answered as his tentacles entwined about her limbs, white eyes upon her own as his body dragged itself nearer. Slithering over the ground towards her he had let another tentacle dip into her top at her cleavage line.

This should be interesting ... He said into her mind though it had been more to himself, his tentacle against the fabric of her shirt bunching up like a fist as he seized hold of the material then yanked against it from the inside while moving his tentacle outward towards his own body hoping to shred the garment in his grasp.
