Pia felt real uncomfortable, being scrutinized by this alien creature. She was really worried about Komiko too. She knew Aegir had telephatic powers. SHe also knew that sometimes, creaures with mind affecting powers could mess up your brain. Maybe that was the explanation for why Komiko seemed so unafraid? SHe really did not seem to worry about this creature at all.

Pia knew Aegir would not mind ravaging the occational female. She was one of its victims, after all. Then again, Aegir seemed to have less of the sadism that some monsters posessed. Bah. Aegir had behaved better than a few fellow humans she knew here. So maybe Komiko was right to trust it?

But can Aegir protect her? Or is that a lie?

He brought his tentacle out of the water, waving it in the air before them. There's no need to concern yourself about matters. As I said I've already eaten and being long lived as I am I can wait a while longer for your response.

Sensing Pia's thoughts he could very well alter their memories or change their perceptions though curiosity engulfed him and he had found no need to get inside their heads. Would he take the occasional student that he chanced by or even hunted? You bet. Though he had not been beyond reproach. Often times he offered to allow to let individuals go if they could immortalize him in some way.

But he had genuinely liked these two. It took some courage to seek him or any other being like him out, and while he sensed Pia's tension she like Komiko, had come before him unarmed and without any nefarious plans to do him harm from the little that he read upon their minds.

For a moment he entertained having them both at the same time. They had been hear before him and he could arrange matters though for now he seemed content enough. He had been no sadist and wouldn't force himself on the pair ... after all he had been interested in what they had to say and brushed aside that wayward thought for the time being.

Though he had found himself entering into Pia's mind, manipulating her response just a little as he tinkered with her brain waves just enough to relax her a little knowing that fear and nervousness would do no good.

I had been relieved that he was so forgiving of my laps of preparing food for all of us, it was silly to think he wouldn’t had wanted any thing but he was in my opinion being gracious about me forgetting to bring something for him to eat, I thought since I forgotten I could give him my lunch. “If you like you can share with me or you can have my lunch, im not very hungry but it was kind of you to give me a way out sort to speak.” I told him as I laid the stuff out I had brought when my stomach growled and I blushed at that.

I had looked over to Pia grinning at how my stomach growled just at the wrong time when I notice her face seemed to relax some, it was nice to see her not as worried as she was yesterday. “So Pia what did you bring? Looks like you packed quite a few things as well.” I told her as I looked over to Aegir as I pulled out some of my test tubes from my bag to take the samples of the water from this interesting waterfall. I was feeling very nerves about what I was going to ask Aegir and how he would react. “Umm Mr. Aegir I don’t mean to be rude but when I take the samples of the water I would like for you to move away from the water and turn your back, during my rush to pack up food and get down here I had forgotten my bathing suit.” I told him and began to turn an even redder color.

To say that Pia was nervous was an undertatement. Now that she had the boing in front of her again, she seriously regretted coming here. She was even thinking of finding an excuse to lead Komiko away. But then.. her worries seemed to melt.
Not that she believed that dealing with Aegir was necesarry a good idea. But he did not seem hostile right now. And it was just as well to hear each other out.
On this island, dealing with monsters was inevitable. You might just as well pick the best monsters.
Kneeled down and unpacked her bag. "I made some sandwiches. Hope that is okay?"

Hearing the rumble in Komiko's stomach Aegir's mouth tendrils fanned out in a smile as he observed her for a moment before shaking his head. His eyes falling up the test tubes as he heard Komiko's request, pondered it for a moment as Pia began unpacking her things then looked from each.

Of course he had envisioned the pair naked though sating his lusts had not been on his mind. He once again turned his attention to the flasks and beakers Komiko laid out and while he knew what they had been for though seeing such on her mind he had know that she had not particuliarly enjoyed his prying.

Eat. Am I to assume those are for the water fall? Being an aquatic being I could fetch samples for you. And there is no need for you to be nervous, Pia. No need at all though I do suppose the matter could be quite daunting and a little intimidating considering when last we met ...

Slithering towards Komiko his various tentacles reached out gracefully as they collected up the various containers. If he had not been a telepath he would have wondered why Komiko had so many and though that answer had sprung to mind he found himself asking about it.

Why so many?

I nod my head at Pia “Great I found some soda’s and took a big bag of chips and some fruits even found this bowl of strawberries so it was really cool they had it in a zip lock container... I hope it wasn’t part of tonight’s desert.” I frowned thinking how many people would be upset because I took it from the cafeteria.

I looked over to Aegir and replied to his questions about the test tube “Yes they are, I have so many because I wanted to sample each depth ranger because of the thermal layers but come to think of it I think you might be a better swimmer Mr. Aegir... umm just one question... you don’t excrete any kind of umm fluids or slime or what ever monsters excrete other then when you umm...” I begin to blush at the last part not sure if that would be proper to say out loud.

I gasp and place my hand over my mouth. “Oh im so rude, im sorry for calling you a monster I mean im sure your offended by that word, it wasn’t meant I-I just meant..” I couldn’t quite find the right words to explain my self so I quickly changed the subject. “Well about the test tube when there was a landslide near a deep lake in Africa the volcano Kilimanjaro the gases from that mountain was leaking from the bottom of that lake and the landslide into that lake caused many deaths and some even believe it was the same think that might have happen in the bible where Moses warned the Egyptian King to let his people go and didn’t and a low kind of fog rushed into the city and killed lots of people and I think that’s what might be the case here but with out the death only the erotic property in exchange.” after saying all that with out a pause I had to take a very deep breath and soon felt light headed. “And that’s what I think.” I said and started to feel weird that I would explain all this when I was positive they already knew this information.

Pia had her doubts about Komiko's theory. She herself had felt suddenly aroused when Aegir had seized her, had she not? And her did have telephathic powers. Yet.. Why not test the waters? Maybe there was some chemical component to all of this? At least Komiko had formulated a theory. That was much better than anything she had done.

Pia withdrew the container with the food from her bag, and started to prepare for the meal.

Ah, no, no excertion of fluids otherwise unless I am cut of course,

Taking up the bottles and the like he had let the girls eat as he busied himself with gathering water from various depths. Of course this had only been to humor Komiko since he knew that she would find nothing but plain old water. It had been his doing in manipulating her mind after all ... he had done the same with Pia too lesser effect.

When he had finished collecting the waters with various amounts of liquid in each jar they had been half way though their lunch. He was slow both on land and in the water but he knew that slow and steady won the race.

Each jar had been filled with various amounts. The deeper he had gone the more water he had captured in the jars making it easier for Komiko to tell each apart. He had decided to make things a little interesting though as his mind reached out to theirs. Pressing lightly into each one he played with their response to pleasure just a little bit. He chiefly played with their arousal levels creeping them up just a little.

So ... Pia what brings you along?

Being busy making up a plate of the stuff I brought, deep within my own thoughts at how to make this deal so I wasn’t the one getting the raw end of the stick or how ever that saying was and I had lost track of what I was thinking of trying to remember the correct saying of that phrase. I had hoped Pia would help me but it seemed she didn’t trust him but the two of them seemed acquainted with one another so I had thought that would of made it easier for me and I was sure Pia was looking out for my best interest as I was of hers.

I had figured this creature was a honorable one and I did felt guilty I had attacked him for self pleasuring though I still don’t know what had come over me but it felt so good and if I could use my body to ensure my safety from other monster her it would be little sacrifice to extend the protection of my body to help protect Pia as well, I was afraid if I word it wrong this creature would twist it around some how, I would ask Pia what she thought once he went to get the samples, I felt secured that he wasn’t reading my mind since he said he wouldn’t which was something that gave me relief. “Here you go Pia, isn’t this a great way to spend the day, we should of done this long time ago.” I tell Pia cheerfully.

Pia suddenly burst out laughing. She could not help herself. The absurdity of the situation.. the two of them, sitting here, on a picnic, with a an ancient, alien being watching them.
Oh well. Why not? I have spent worse days here on this island.

"True!", she said, beaming at Komiko. "It is a too beautiful day to spend inside, is it not!"

"To answer your question, Aegir..", Pia began. "I-I must confess I am not 100% sure what I hope to accomplish."
Putting some food into her mouth, she thought about her answers some more.
"For one, I was afraid this was some kind of trap. So I thought I could come and maybe be of help if Komiko was attacked. And I must admit I don't quite know what to think of this deal, but Komiko trust you, and, well.. You seem fairly honorable so far. Then there is the question of the discussion we had.. earlier. There are a few things I'd like to ask you."

Gathering the water from the pool he dump some of it out based upon the deeper he had gone with each, stoppered them all before setting each down near the picnic blanket. He took in the words as he nodded slightly, his gaze falling to Pia.

Understandable. I can see your reason for things being well ... abnormal. Most beings from what I gather would use this opportunity to lay a trap or see the opportunity to gain a two for one deal out of this situation. But Komiko and I have an amicable relationship so to speak. Isn't that right, Komiko?"

And while her words even if they confirmed what he said probably wouldn't matter much given that he could dominate minds though he also knew that humans were set at ease by confirmation of another.

Ah, yes, teleportation for lack of a better word. It is a seldom used ability of mine but it is possible. While recently I did discover that the ability in question can not shift me from here to earth directly though I can go from here to another planet then to earth. I have since deduced that the inhibitors on the island only allow me to shift to nearby worlds then to earth itself. A little more then a minor inconvince but something that I have since learned from our last talks.

I take it that you are interested in that ability and wish to be jaunted back to earth. Let me guess, you would like to take Komiko with you. Hm ... I think something could be arranged in that regard.

As Aegir was in the water getting my sample I thought this would be a good time to speak with Pia. “Well since he in the water getting my samples I thought I would ask if he would include you as part of the protection from the other monsters so when he gets back I had decided I would submit to his request as long as he includes you under his protection but im not sure how to word it correctly it’s kind of like this I would be making the payments but you would receive the benefit of the protection without paying anything.” I explained to Pia as I watched the water for signs of Aegir to surface waiting for Pia answer.

Aegir finally surfaced and started to answer questions Pia had asked and haven’t asked then asked me the question to relax Pia mistrust of him. “Umhm Umhmm that’s right but I believe your using your powers to read minds again so please Mr. Aegir don’t read Pia mind as well its rude but yes I have an understanding with Mr. Aegir where we have a mutual trust for one another, and so far he been true to his word Pia.” I explain to Pia.

I listen to what he was saying about Teleportation to other planets and Earth, some of it just didn’t make sense to me, I understood the theory of teleportation and how it could work but the part at not being on Earth was crazy and what was the inhibitors? “Umm what are these inhibitors? I mean come on we are on Earth? Right??” I bit my lip looking a bit worried at where this topic was going and if these inhibitors did exist could that be why I didn’t remember anything before getting here?

Okay. This is the hard part! I kind off hoped Aegir would have explained this already.

"Øhm.. Well.. How do I start? I don't know much about the inhibitors, except what Aegir here told me already. They are here to prevent certain students from fighting back. And they seem to interfere with dimensional traveling, from what Aegir here tells us.. That is all I know, really."

The other part was more difficult. Pia had actually stumbled upon the clues about Shokushu's location, but had not seen the obvious. It had been too fantastic. Untill Aegir had told her, anyway.

"I don't excpect you to believe this, Komiko, but.. the stars. They don't look right. The constellations.. they are wrong, quite simply."

Pia let it rest at that. She did not excpect Komiko to believe her right away. Besides, Pia had more urgent matters.

"First of all," she said, turning towards Aegir. "I..I don't want any deal where Komiko have to pay for my protection. I just can't live with that! Sorry, Komiko, I know you mean well.. but.. I just can't. Take care of yourself first. Please. You are just too good for your own good. Besides, I am not even sure if you can protect us both, Aegir. I mean, you are powerful and all, but there are many other monst.. err.. beings here."


"There is another thing as well. Before I can go, I need to take care of a few things here as well. There is someone.. If I go, go home I mean, there are two others I want with me. Komiko is one. The other one is not.. aviable right now. I am not even sure I can convince her to go. So we need to prepare for three passengers, if.. if that is okay with you. I also need to know about any risks. I am willing to take a chance, I really am, but, you know.. If others are to go along.."

He fell silent for a moment as he reflected on what had been said. First he had gazed towards Komiko as if he had been checking on her response to what Pia had said. He knew of her intentions in including her in the bargain after all and had not known if that would change her mind at all.

His heart did hammer excitedly in his chest though on the surface he had remained calm and collected. He knew that Komiko had not been pry to that conversation that he had conduced with Pia not that long ago.

In short you are not on Earth any longer. Remember the plane ride here? You were drugged, rendered unconscious while you made your "flight" though the plane was actually an inter stellar one that brought you here. In short you, both of you, had been selected like many others to be little more than sexual prey to those beings that dwell here and since only a small number of girls are every attacked and what happens upon graduation ... well suffice it to say they, the staff here, ensure that no one of importance every believes you.

As a defense their are inhibitors scattered across the island that hinder most human abilities and as I found out my own teleportation in a sense.

Though he had pondered some as curiousity filled him once more anew. Teleportation is harmless to you. I merely set up a conduit of some sort to concentrate on and channel the power of ley lines into it. Usually I use a standing circle of stone, all those within it are teleported along with me. I have one such device already set up here along with others on separate worlds so getting to Earth is no big deal. Who is the third person you'd have in mind?

I smiled at Aegir but quickly fell into thought trying to remember the plane ride as hard as I tried I couldn’t remember anything other than being on the dock where the plane had dropped us off, I couldn’t even remember the other students that had gotten off and frowned knowing that there was no use at even trying to remember before getting off the plane.

I sighed and said in a low tone more to myself. “I don’t even remember getting off the plane let alone getting on it.” I said looking at the sandwich Pia had made me and smiled as if a switch had been flicked from sadness to happiness. “Oh Pia I love this sandwich, it’s the best I had ever tasted, you taking cooking classes or something?” I asked interested as I slowly made my decision about the agreement between me and Aegir but I listen to the story he told about the school and the inhibitors.

I looked at Pia and smiled but I was confused why she didn’t want to be protected from other monsters before I could edit what I was thinking I just blurted it out. “Pia? How come you don’t want me to include you in the protection of Mr. Aegir? Is it because you like the sex with them? Other then Aegir I had sex with another creature and it was amazing I mean...” slapping my hand over my mouth I blushed red and feared I might had said more then I should and hoped I hadn’t said to much to make Pia mad at me or hate me. “Im sorry I didn’t mean it like that.” I said looking at the picnic blanket, speaking in mouse like tones.

I had tears in my eyes as I looked at Aegir I thought it would be best at this time to tell him out loud what Pia wanted to hear hopefully it would mend some of what I said and save our friendship at least. “Im sorry Mr. Aegir but ill have to take my friend advice and decline the offer.” I said but I was thinking to myself. ’I’ll have to come back later and tell him what I really wanted’
