"Ehh always been good with electronics, not so much smart as it is skilled."

she offered simply offering a smile and stretch as she looked around the room for a few moments in thought.
"Haven't done any shows yet, just setting up really. I hate school stations usually they suck out loud."

I see. So what kinda of music do you play on your radio station? Ishtar was pretty excited to hear about the new radio station. She didn't know if she was the first person to hear about it, but she was one of the first. And it was awesome to get in on a project at the ground level. What will make your radio station special?

"Well I had a friend of mine make a 1 terabyte pocket drive into an mp3 and it's full of every sort of music that isn't rap, country or hip hop. as for what makes it special, journalism, just ranting on issues and of course listener comments."

She smiled slightly closing her closet and stretching slightly.

Ishtar was impressed. She wasn't exactly how much a terabyte was but she new that was significantly bigger than the mp3 players that typically had only had a hundred or so gigabytes of music. She had to have enough music to do a month's worth of constant programming.

Well, it sounds you ready to go in the way of music and programming. This is pretty impressive. So how do you get listener comments?

She grinned pointing at a small hole on the top of each of the receivers.
"they're all 2-ways, best way I could think of anyway, they work the same as my base transmitter except they lead to this little fun thing."

she pulled out a rather large hand held device placing it on her desk and grinning.
this is so I'm never in the same place on the island twice, has a thirty mile range, top of the line military 2 way. Gotta love the diagrams you can find on the net."

She laughed loudly and shifted her stance to a proud confident one.

Ishtar looked at the top of the receiver she was holding. Wow, its amazing what you can do with technology nowadays.

Ishtar looked up as Lyndsey pulled up a large hand held device. She clapped in amazement as she realized that was the center piece of Lyndsey's pirate radio. So really thought of everything haven't you. It is all very impressive.

"heh! yeah that's pretty much what it is, miracles of technology, every year things get smaller and smaller makes things nice and easy to hide."

she grinned as she again nodded to Ishtar hands brushing her sides a little now.
"I'm a professional vagrant, If I can't think of everything to skirt school rules who can?"

She laughed proudly as she took a seat on her bed crossing her arms and laying back.
"Have a seat ishtar, lets get off the subject of my radio, maybe you'd like a bit of a voice recorder so you can take records of full events rather than just little details?"

Ishtar pulled up the only chair near the bed and sat down in it. Really, you lend me one of your recorders. That would great, it would save me so much time. Thank you very much. Ishtar smiled at her new friend, things were working out very well. Her new friend was a bit of rules breaker, but all seemed to be a nice person overall.

Lyndsey nodded as she pulled the small recorder from her pocket tossing it to ishtar.
" hundred Gig recorder, uses micro SD cards to expand the size. School gives those little cards out to students to record notes usually. might have to ask the admins for it though. It's yours as long as you feel like being my friend alright Ishtar?"

She smiled as she glanced to her door shrugging and deciding to be more comfortable she'd kick off her shoes and slip off her jeans showing off her... well they weren't panties, they were men's boxer briefs, tight around her thighs so one couldn't see up them. They were a simple black. She would then slip off her coat and shirt laying back once more in just her underwear and the loose T-shirt she wore.

Thank you, this really means alot to me. Ishtar looked at the small recorder in her hand. As Ishtar looked back up, she was a bit surprised when Lyndsey began to remove her clothes in front of Ishtar. However, it was quite clear that her boxer briefs and T-shirt was quite masculine. Ishtar decided to ask the obvious and work from there. So you are a bit of tomboy, huh?

"glad you like it Ishtar."
she said with a simple smile to the other blue haired woman a hand resting behind her neck the other, runed arm hand resting at her side. the obvious question shifted Lyndsey's gaze a little to confusing.
"Uhm, yeah thought that was obvious before though, I mean, why else would i never have worn a skirt in my life and want to alter the uniforms?"

Well it seemed obvious to her anyway. She shrugged faintly laying back still.
"Why? going to ask why I don't like being fem or something?"

Ishtar blushed a little in surprise. No, I am just a bit surprised by your choice in clothing. It is pretty distinctive among the students here. I don't think you have a single set of feminine clothing.

Ishtar smiled. But each person has their own unique tastes. It is what makes us unique and interesting. Ishtar thought about it a little. I think I might have an idea for the skirts issue, although it will only work in limited circumstances.

"That you're right on Ishtar, no skirts, not leggintgs, no dresses, no tube tops, no bikini, no panties, no bras, nothing sold in a women's clothing store at all. People think I'm insane and usually tell me when they hear that and I'm proud of it, odd for someone to call it unique though, thanks."

she smiled noticably as she shifted and rest so her head hung over the edge of her bed to look as Ishtar.
"So what sort of thing were you thinking about? I was thinking finding some way to make them into shorts that still 'look' like a skirt of some sort."

Ishtar thought about for a moment, though Ishtar's initial instinct was magic that was at best a temporary makeshift solution. She could only use it once without resting and it would require Ishtar's constant consentration to have it work successfully.

Ishtar hit another idea for tomboy companion, How about this. What if we made the skirt slightly longer? You would be able to hide your shorts under the skirt and nobody would see them. Only you would know. Then we just have you where elevated shoes, so that it appears that skirt is the same length as the others. Unless they are looking carefully, no one would be the wiser.

She grinned to Ishtar nodding at the idea. She laughed then patting the girl on the shoulder as she sat up and shifted to ishtar's side.

"You ishtar, you'd make a great partner in crime with that resourcefulness! uhm I mean if I was going to go back to crime... Crime's bad, power corrupts, evil thoughts sorry my bad."

she nervously laughed brushing her rune covered arm a little as she glanced to the floor nervously laughing slightly to her newest friend in this prison of a school at least friends would make this place bearable
