OOC: New student here, so I thought I would start something, feel free to join the fun in anyway you can think.

Geez... I hate this place, I know I have only just got here -but my old school back in England was way nicer - better class of people if you know what I mean. I ended up transferring here because my father started another new company and had to move overseas, then decided that the cultural experience would befit my 'brattish ways'. To be honest I really should not complain too much, I pouted a little and got a new porsche out of the move so its not all bad... anyway I'm rambling a little.

You see back in my old school I was the head cheerleader - which was so cool, the only problem with moving is all of a sudden your back to the bottom of the pile and have to prove yourself all over again (and of course undermine all the other little bitches), but never mind I am sure I will be ruling this team in a couple of months.

I've already gone through the degrading auditions - yes... I can do the splits - yes... I can follow a routine - am I flexible? (laugh) I'll wrap my legs around my neck and still kick all the other cheerleaders pert asses.

So, anyway, back to where we are now - the sports field - The team have done our practice routines and started a fitness run, To be honest I am not really into all this running, we invented sport cars so we did not have to run places. Also the very idea of running through the woods that line the edge of the sports field in our cheerleader uniforms is just a little too like a bad horror movie for my tastes.

You may have guessed I am not really giving it my all and am lagging behind the rest of the team, seriously, you can trust me when I say that cheerleading is more about social networking than running.

Then I stop, the lace on my sneaker has come undone, so I bend down, a gust of wind catches my short skirt blowing it up slightly, I quickly brush it down and have a quick look around to see if anyone saw. When I turn back the team has vanished out of sight. Then I get an idea, why don't I cut through the wood and join up with them on the other side and save myself some effort.

So I start through the woods that line the sports field at a light jog, my red hair gently tossing from side to side, I chuckle to myself at the number of generic horror films that start with a cheerleader type person running alone through the woods...

Except she isn't alone. As Suzi runs through the woods, sneakers kicking up leaves and stray sticks, the sound catches someone's attention. A dark-winged demon opens his eyes and peers down from his perch in the branches far above the ground.

"Well well well..." Steel chuckles to himself. A stray cheerleader broken off from the herd... She clearly hasn't learned yet to be careful where she goes on this island. Well, he can teach her a lesson or two. Steel drops down to the ground not far behind her, making enough noise to catch her attention. But before she can see him behind her, he melts into the shadow of a tall oak, vanishing from sight.

On hearing the sound behind, I pause for a second. Then slowly turn scanning the woodland for signs of the rest of the team - maybe they noticed I am missing and have come looking for me? I know that if the team catch me taking a shortcut they would give me hell, maybe even try to throw me off the squad.

Another gust of wind moved through the woods sending a slight chill through my slender body, I pause for just a few more seconds until I am happy that the sound was from the of wildlife and not my fellow squad.

"Geez... not only does this school have dags, dorks and dweebs a plenty - it also appears to have rats, or... whatever else is running around in the woods"

The jog has twisted my top slightly, after taking a moment to straighten my uniform and brush my hair away from my face, I set off again, my heart beating just a little faster as I keep one wary eye on the woods just in case a bear or something was lurking just out of sight.

As Suzi continues through the woods, Steel follows in the shadows. Every few moments he reaches out to make another loud rustling noise, watching the girl's reactions. What she hears sounds large, and it sounds like it's following her...

It's several minutes before he finally makes his move. By now they're in the middle of the woods, too far from the sports field for anyone to hear them. Steel slides up underneath Suzi, then brings one hand up out of the shadows to grab her by the ankle and yank her off balance. He's aiming to make her land in the fairly soft pile of leaves in front of her.

My heart is pounding as I run through the woods, while I can hear something just out of sight I am a little more concerned that I may actually be lost. As I slow down to get my bearings I trip over what I think is a tree root, landing awkwardly on my sneakered foot and then try desperately to regain my balance.

I fall forwards squeezing my eyes shut and bracing myself for a bone crunching impact on the woodland floor, but to my surprise I land in a soft pile of leaves that cushions my fall. Dazed I look back down the small path to see what I tripped over and a confused look crossed my face: no rocks, logs or branches. Its not like I'm clumsy, I mean I can land a triple backflip so tripping over my own feet would be ungeard of, the only consolation is that nobody saw me act like a total clutz.

Feeling the cool breeze again I glance down realizing that the fall left my pleated cheerleader skirt around my waist exposing my panties, getting to my knees I brush it back down, again grateful for the lack of prying eyes.

I hear more movement in the woods, this time it sounds more violent, closer and more threatening, my heart rate pick up again as I start to realize that I am not alone out here...

I had joined the cheer leading team as an excuse to stay in shape. When I told Kairi about it, she thought it was very weird that we'd have a cheer leading team because she hadn't heard of any teams that would need cheering. I had shrugged and told her that they were probably going to form one this year. So I had gone to the tryout, trying my hardest to impress the judges. I just barely got through, while another girl, with red hair, had made it seem like it was nothing. Now that I was finally on the team, with my uniform and all, we hadn't ended up practicing routines and doing hand stands, but instead we had to run along paths, do push ups, crunches, jumping jacks, stretch our limbs and lastly we had a quick beep test. My muscles ached and I groaned as I was told to head into the woods and find the redhead girl. The coach had told me that her name was Suzi and that he had seen her split off from the group earlier. I complied and headed out to the woods.

After about ten minutes of searching, I finally realized I was in the woods. The woods where the monsters lurked. The forbidden woods. The tree's canopy was so thick and the foliage so constant that I could barely even see any sunlight. I heard panting gasps and the scuffing of sneaker against dirt. I also heard leafs crunching, a groan of exasperation and more leafs crunching. The sound came from every where around me. It was echoing. I fell to my bare knees, hugging myself and gently starting to sob. I was lost. I knew it. No body in their right mind would come in here after me. The monsters would find me. They'd come for me. I was doomed. My mind collapsed on itself, paranoia taking the wheel and my confidence shattered. What was I going to do?

I glance left and right trying to get a bearing on where the sound was coming from - then I hear a soft sob. My brow furrows slightly, bears normally do not sob? Maybe the squad did send somebody to find me the whiny bimbo's crying cos she's lost in the woods. Well I guess that works to my advantage, I can play the "I'm new and I took a wrong turn card" - hey maybe I can even rescue the (other) lost cheerleader and save the day. My confidence is returning, there is no bear, its just somebody who got lost.

I spring to my feet, wincing just a little as I twisted my ankle slightly in the fall and push the bushes aside stepping off the main path, into the dark of the woods. I feel a chill run down my spine as a feeling like I am being watched starts to build - after a few steps I find a small clearing with Tian, one of the other girls who tried out for the squad at the same time as me cowering against a tree with her back towards me. A smile spreads over my lips, she's obvious got lost, freaked out and I can bring the stray back to the squad as their new triumphant leader.

I find a tree to lean against in a lightly staged no-chalant manner, clear my throat:

"Hey 'T' - You know that if the rest of the squad sees your whimpering in a corner they will really give you something to wail about - trust me hun. - they are the biggest bitches under the sun and smell weakness from a hundred paces"

I brush away my tears with my hand and turn around, seeing none other then Suzi standing there, staring down at me. She seemed confident, happy. Arrogant. "Yes, you're right, please don't tell any body. I'll never hear the end of it." I sniffled slightly, reached into the pocket of my short skirt and slid out a soft hankerchief. I blew my nose on it, looked at the now dirty hanky and threw it away, reluctant to dirty my uniform. I stood up. "The couch saw you breaking off from the group and into the forest, she thought that you'd have returned by then and sent me after you." I had finally stopped sniffling, regaining control of myself. Maybe there was still hope of finding a trail and getting out of here.

Steel snickered to himself as Suzi tumbled forward into the pile of leaves. He began to rise up, preparing to introduce himself to her- but suddenly he heard a sound that wasn't him. Cursing, he ducked back down into the shadows and followed the girl to see what was going on. He wasn't in the mood for interference. If this was another monster, he'd have to take steps to deal with it....

In the clearing though, Suzi found one of her fellow new cheerleaders instead. Well now, Steel thought. This could work out even better than he'd planned. It had been ages since he'd had a two-for-one deal.... While Suzi and Tian started to talk, the dark demon made his way to the edge of the clearing. Hiding himself behind a tree, he emerged and began to weave black magic around the clearing. A spell to keep the sound inside from reaching anyone outside, a spell to keep the girls from leaving.... They were pretty weak spells by demonic standards, but unless one of the cheerleaders was a mage, they wouldn't have any chance of breaking free. Steel turned to watch the two girls now, waiting to see if they even noticed the magic that was now in place.

(Laughs)

"Hey 'T' I was just thinking, all we need is a cameraman following us and we could sell this to Hollywood as their next big horror opener - I mean 'Cheerleaders lost in creepy wood' has to be a winning title... anywho, I guess we had better be lea...?"

...Huh?

"OK... what the hells going on? This wood was as noisy as a kindergarten a few minutes ago and now its as quiet as a group of nerds in a library..."

(looks at Tian with a puzzled look)

"A camera man? You crazy? It wouldn't be a horror movie, it would be a porno flick." I giggled slightly, straightened out my clothes and cleaned off the dust that had picked up. "But yes, you're right, it is too quiet. That can only mean..." I left the thought unfinished, hoping that the girl knew what I was talking about.

(total look of confusion?)

Porno Flick? (laughs) "You really do have a much better imagination than I gave you credit for"

(looks around)

"Seriously though its WAY too quiet... and what the hell do you mean 'that can only mean...'
... what? The birds have gone to bed, I've gone deaf, the bloody end of the world is nigh?"

(huffs)

"I really do hate this school its all to weird, everyone is paranoid... seriously everyone needs to lighten up a little...
You know what? - We need a party!
A big one with dancing, cocktails and... A POOL!" (Triumphant Grin)


(turns away / under my breath) - "Freeking great, I am surrouded by headcases - I'm so getting transferred outta here the first chance I get"

"No, I mean that you're about to get your cherry busted,Suzi." I looked around, my eyes grazing the dark forest for any sign of the monster. If we saw it, we could then run the opposite direction and at least have a chance of getting away. If we just started running in a random direction, we could run right into its grasp. I then looked at Suzi, noticing her confused expression. "You haven't heard of any of the monsters?"

Monsters? (chuckles)...You REALLY watch too much TV.

(Sarcastically) OOooohh... look the monsters will get me - Seriously the only monsters are the ones at the Credit Card Company who send me bills every month...

You know what, screw this - I am so outta her, by the way I thing the way out of the woods is that way (points in a random direction and heads towards the edge of the clearing)

Steel snorted. Oh, what an arrogant girl that Suzi was. He was looking forward to showing her the reality of the island. And the girl next to her was a perfect contrast, shy and meek. Well, enough waiting. It was high time the demon got things started.

In a flash a dark figure rose up out of Suzi's shadow, grabbing her from behind with both arms. He pinned her arms to her sides with one arm, reaching up to cover her mouth with the other. "You should have listened to your friend, Suzi dear," he whispered evilly. "Not that it would have saved you though..." He turned to grin at Tian still in the center of the clearing. "Allright, 'T', stay right where you are, understand? You're going to do exactly what I tell you. Or things won't go well for Suzi here." Steel thought Tian looked like the type who'd do as she was told to protect another girl. If he was wrong, it wasn't a big deal, he'd go to plan B.
