Alien Defence Directorate
The ADD was set up some years ago when it became obvious to Earth governments that large numbers of aliens and space pirates were kidnapping young girls for use as sex slaves on distant planets. Not wishing to alarm the populace, the Directorate was established secretly on Antares and it is still considered one of the most undercover of all government operations.
It has never been adequately explained why the ADD should be aware of the activities at Shokushu High School yet take no action to close it down. There can be no doubt that they do know what is happening, as they maintain a base attached to the spaceport and slavers leaving Shokushu are often chased by ADD blocking ships. But while the Directorate score numerous successes in closing down alien and pirate bases on other planets, Shokushu continues to operate unscathed.
As always there are rumours and hearsay; some maintain that high government officials have been bribed by the School owners. Others say that there is a secret agreement between Earth and the aliens, allowing the School to remain open in return for them not invading. A more cynical view is that this is ADD policy, either because they prefer to have a known location for their enemies, or because they treat Shokushu as an informal training ground from which to recruit agents.
In any event, the Directorate's main operations are carried out from their base on Antares. So it is primarily the purpose of these files to deal with that aspect of their work.
