About Shokushu High School
This site has been put together after years of research by Headmaster Niceman and Headmaster Stormbringer. They have been hard years (well, who wouldn't get hard with the material we have to study every day !!?). But our research has been rewarded. Within this website is a comprehensive collection of the art and stories of Niceman and the stories of Stormbringer. These materials detail every assault and ravagement carried out by disgusting aliens on the pupils, staff and nearby residents. It has not been easy, having to stand by and watch time after time (when we couldn't join in) but we think the effort has been worth it. Hopefully you agree. We appreciate feedback from visitors and are always looking for ideas to improve the experience for them.
Incidentally, the word shokushu is Japanese for feeler or tentacle which gives you a good idea what we had in mind when we started doing the site. Neither of us is Japanese but we feel it is an appropriate homage to the hentai artists who started the whole tentacle thing off and who provided us with such worthy inspiration.
When we started in 1999, the idea was to create a central location for both our creations, and to tie it together in an entertaining environment. We had little idea of the popularity of such a creation and got quite excited when we passed 100 visitors a day. Now of course the site receives several thousand visitors daily and the concept has grown into a more interactive environment with the existence of the Campus, an extra location dedicated to monster/student roleplays. Others have created work and given their time to the SHS concept and it is only appropriate that people such as Vamp, Salina, Orchid, Chupacabra and Celesia should get credit for their contributions. You will find their work, and that of others, scattered through the site and identified as such.
Most of the scenarios are the work of Stormbringer. And of the uncredited art within this site, the vast majority is the work of Niceman. We retain all copyrights to these works and they should not be reproduced without asking permission first. But for other images we have had to borrow hentai art from newsgroups and other sources. We do not claim any rights over such art and we would be very happy if the creators would get in touch so that we can give them proper attribution. If anyone objects to our use of their art to illustrate the SHS concept, we will naturally cease to use it. If you are the creator or copyright holder of any art used here and you wish to contact us for any reason, please drop us a line.
This is, I think, the third or fourth incarnation of SHS. It's somewhat amusing to read back to when we had to warn people they would need a fast modem to view the place adequately. With the popularity of broadband (and maybe even faster technologies by the time you read this) that is hardly an issue any longer. Nor do many still use small monitors and graphics cards incapable of displaying millions of colors. Times move on and so does this web site. The latest version represents 2007 and should be suitable for viewing in a wide range of media while also following standards compliance for access by those with visual disabilities who wish to have the stories read to them by their software. Anyone still using Netscape 4.x for any obsure reason may have some problems. All other mainstream browsers for PC, Mac and Unix are likely to be able to render the site correctly to give you an enjoyable visit.
