Background:
Fionna was born and raised in Sydney, Australia. She moved to America when she was sixteen, after her parents divorced. Her father is a highly respected professor and she dreams of following in his footsteps. She has survived with a minimal amount of friends and tends to keep to herself and books, due to trust issues and social anxiety. She has read almost every book published and tends to daydream quite frequently.

She heard of Shokushu during her senior year over the internet and something about it stuck with her, she applied after months of attempting NOT to reply, but felt something was calling her there. The naive type she is, she believed that fate wanted her there, so that's where she's going...

Personality: Was diagnosed as Bipolar when she was 15, and refuses to take medications. Because of this, she suffers from mood swings, but is able to keep them to herself. However, it does partially affect how she interacts with people. One minute she is rather outgoing, whereas most times she likes to be left alone. Her parent's divorced due to her mother abusing her. Her father ignored it for the longest time, but after one particularly bad incident, Fionna's father packed and ran. Because of her mother, Fionna takes awhile to trust people, and open up. (The social anxiety doesn't help much either...) Fionna is used to slapping on a fake smile and rolling with whatever the people around her are doing. She has the capabilities of a leader, but tends to follow- she finds it's safer that way. She wants desperately for someone to get to know her, the real her. She wants someone to see how broken she feels she is, and still take her the way she is. Even in friendship.
She tends to shy from physical contact with anyone, but is always the first to offer a hug to someone in pain. She is also more perverted than people tend to give her credit for, which comes as a shock to people who are only aware of her naiveté. Her sense of humor is crass and often self-depreciating.
She's more airheaded than she should be, especially for someone with a genius level IQ. While she could quote the Magna Carta[i][/i], good luck letting her show you around a city. Her interests are as varied as her moods, ranging from Adventure Time to Tolstoy. She loves the dark and macabre, but her naive purity keeps her from ever knowing what she is capable of. She longs to be a part of something bigger, but is too afraid to leave her house. She also wants to get drunk at least once in her life, but doubts it will ever happen, the whole...leaving the room thing would be required. For the most part, she's silly on the outside, but crumbling apart on the inside.
