The One That Got Away (Anne)
It was just one of those things. You spent so much time looking for it and you knew it should be where you left it, but when you look again it just isn't there. Sometimes its that book, your keys, sometimes it happens to be something very important.
In the demon Slimer's case it was prey. To call her simple prey though was not doing her justice. She was smart, life-afirming, innocent and attractive. Her beautiful face was framed by gorgeous dark hair and she had a body that screamed to be ravaged.
The demon had her for a glorious night, and like the nectar of the gods, he had to have more. Another taste, like a drug that sold itself he needed her again. What made the passion to possess her even more intense was the deal that went unfulfilled. Deals were what drove demons as a species and getting the short end of the stick was simply unacceptable. Beyond unacceptable when one considered the prize.
His rage dulled over a few days, only to be replaced with resolve. Where many in history failed due to giving-up moments from success the demon promised himself to not waiver until he fulfilled his twisted desires. For such a long lived species time was on his side and he placed all matters a distant second to this latest endevour.
She would be his once more, oh yes she would...
His determination had him using his invisible camoflaguing ability to hunt the room he had spent many glorious hours with her. Tragically, it seemed the room was not to be the perfect bait he had anticipated. As a week went by he decided another tactic was needed.

Re: The One That Got Away (Anne)
"Sadists"
Anne muttered the word as she rummaged through a huge stack of notes trying to root out the answer to a particulary vicious equation. She was referring, of course to the teachers that seemed to have decided now would be a perfect oppertunity to assult her with a seemingly endless supply of work to do after hours. If she didn't know better she would swear she was being punished for something although she was at a loss to know what!
It had been a week since the nightmare with the tentacled monster and Anne had completely stopped thinking about it. Not in small part because her own eyes had confirmed the lie of the dream, but also because she simply didn't have any time to think about anything aside from study. She hadn't even gotten outside to blow off some steam this week which she was finding annoying at best. her entire routine seemed to be get up, change, eat, classes, library to get the books she needed and then back to her dorm to study.
With a triumphant grin she finally found the note she was looking for and bent her head back to the desk, carefully working through the equation to get it right.

Re: The One That Got Away (Anne)
The demon had tried stalking the place of their first encounter to no avail. After many nights of frustration he decided on a different approach as she seemed destined to possibly never return. Instead he turned his attention towards the dorms themselves. With many different classrooms and buildings, finding the right one would be challenging he knew, yet the students all slept in one building.
Using his ability to blend into his surroundings, he posted a watch not far from the main entrance in a growth or trees opposite and along the path. He started his vigil before the morning rays of dawn lit the sky, and waited patiently. As the morning proceeded he saw countless beauties exit and head off to class in their perfect uniforms. Countless potential prey came and went as the campus bells echoed and chimed in the distance. Being a university, classes started and ended at various times, making his goal elusive and tricky.
Morning turned to afternoon, as the light strolled up and overhead. Shadows became smaller and smaller and eventually began to elongate in the opposite direction. Only by taking chances and risks can one be rewarded though, and the demon knew the lesson very well. So patiently he waited, eyes occasionally catching promising prey, while self control and desire warred. He knew eventually his patience would be rewarded, or at least he sure hoped it would be.
