Aegir did not noticed the disappontment as quick seeing that he was not in tune with her mind. Still he could see how her body reacted in antcipation of him stripping her further so that she wore only the skirt, requested stockings and shoes now.

So he laid her at his side, his hand sweeping against her now manipulated mind though now she could not feel what was occuring to her semi conscious body as his hand casually swept of her in a comforting way even though she would not feel that touch crawling over her skin as he drew her into her own mind.

Sweeping over it she was soon their with her sister. The younger shook her head sadly …

“I'm afraid only you or I can get it. The bishop will give it to no one else though you may take whoever you like. The more people that know the more likely that it is that we are discovered of not having the regalia and get publically shamed. I don't think the bishop really likes me these days, if it were up to him he probably would have excommunicated me from the church though I will go if you like ...”

“I would suggest only one or two others, perhaps that swordsman Naramis wouldn't mind, he is more than adequate of being a bodyguard given that he is the captain of the guard.”

Victoria couldn't deny the wisdom of her sister's advise. It would be best for one of them to retrieve the regalia personally, to ensure it was not stolen yet again. "Very well then, I will go. If you will see to arranging my transportation, something simple that will not attract too much attention, I will find Naramis and ask him to accompany me."

She waited for her sisters assent before departing the hallway herself to locate her captain of the guard. The barracks seemed like a good first place to look for him. She could check a few other place within the castle on her way out there. She hoped to find him as quickly and as quietly as possible.

“I will arrange transport, a private vessel will attract less attention. I will arrange for something simple as per your request.” A curstey, she waited until she was dismissed before she moved off apparently to take care of these details.

Victoria travelled about, the barracks her ultimate destination though she peaked into a few chambers as she did and it was a good thing she had for Naramis was in one gym sparring. His shirt had been removed displaying a well muscled chest, broad shouders. Large muscular tri and biceps.

He moved with a fluid grace, sparring against some of the other guards, three at once and while they were attacking from various angels he parried and countered mixing sword strikes with unarmed strikes.

He was in complete command though as Victoria gathered his attention he dismissed his class and toweled off before kneeling in front of her. “How may I serve you, princess”

Victoria did not immediately interrupt when she finally found the swordsman sparring in the small gym, partly because she was too mesmerized by the purely masculine display of grace and deadly skill. She could also appreciate the captain fine physique as he moved, his muscular bare chest and glistening body. She sighed longingly. Shame she didn't have time to stay and watch. She shook herself out of her revery and cleared her throat to secure Naramis' attention.

He quickly ended his match when he saw her and dismissed the others. She was glad he did, the fewer people around to overhear her the better. "I have an important mission for you." She glanced around the room, some of the other soldiers were still lingering in the gym. She gestured for Naramis to follow her and led him somewhere more private where they would not be overheard. Once she was certain they were alone she explained the situation to him. She told him of the stolen regalia and explained that she was the only one who could retrieve it. "You can, of course, understand why it would not be safe for me to go alone. I need someone I can trust to come with me as my personal guard. You are the most trustworthy person I could think of for this task, do you think you are up to it? We must be quick and as discreet as possible."

Naramis walked with her after grabbing a towel to wipe the sweet of his face and chiseled chest as they went. He was a large man and obviously in shape. He was large, strong and quick and had a sharpe mind too for he drilled that in all the guards he trained, You might be the quickes of strongest though it meant nothing if you weren't smart and let yourself get outsmarted and beaten …

He listened to her speak. A discret mission?

“Of course my loyalty is now to you as it was your father when he reigned, may you reign be long indeed your Highness. I am honored that you see me as trustworthy and strive not to disappoint … if quick and efficient is your objective then that will be carried out. I only shudder to think what anyone in the kingom of Urik would do if they got a hod of you or any others for that matter that may seek to cause you trouble out if the sanctity of the kingdom.”

Victoria nodded in agreement. "As do I, which is way I need a protector. Possibly more than one... I have a great number of enemies at the moment. What do you think? You are Captain of the Guard. Do you think you can protect me on your own or some we bring more. I would prefer to keep the party as small as possible but will trust your judgement. Is there someone else you trust enough to accompany us?"

“I do not know any details at this point your Highness as far as what we are doing or where we are going. I am but one person though I hope that I would be more than enugh for your safety. However, there is Aames, he is a compent guard that has served to watch out for your sister though Willis, the guard assigned to you on most days is a bit fickle.

“He is a good man but easily distracted. Either of these should make for a good second or possibly even third choice. Is there any fighting invoved you Highness? I understand that we wish to keep matters small but if I were to understand a little of our aim then I could advise you better, if for instance you were only going somewhere but expected trouble then one or two guards, if trying to make off with the crown jewels of Urik, a hypothetical situation just to give you an idea, then you may want at least a dozen of your better men with more specific roles. Again, it all depends on your aims. I as always am honored that you have selected me.”

"I, of course, would prefer to avoid any conflict at all though we be prepared lest that plan go awry." As such plans normally did. "We need only travel as far as Taavar. Thankfully, we will not be required to steal anything. The Bishop there has my regalia and we must retrieve it and return in time for my coronation. The Bishop, however, will only release the regalia to me which is why I must go. I cannot tell you any more specifics about our journey because I know none. Natalie is making arrangements for our conveyance, something subtle but safe. We hope to keep this as quiet as possible but my Uncle know that the regalia is missing and will most likely try to prevent its retrieval. That is all I can tell you. I will leave it to you to decide if we need more guards or not."

“Hm, Taavar ...” he rubbed his chin and had listened to their objective. It seemed straight forward enough though he considerd the part about her being the only onea ble to get it back. He figured she meant her sister as well but that the regalia would be released only to her.

“We will have to sail past the island nation of Urik. Taavar is an island as well so there is ni therr way ti get to it but I'm sure they will not try anytthing further.

“From the sounds of it you want to keep this discret and should your uhcle show up for whatever reason he will be dealing with a ship load of guards so I would recommend stacking the deck, making all the crew members guards without telling them why, They can add an extra layer of protection. While away fron the group, perhaps one other guard besides me and someone good at theft just in case though he can be kept to the ship unless needed.

“So you'd only have to tell one other as a definate and can fill in others as they are needed.”

The princess nodded in agreement. "Your wisdom in these matters is far greater then mine. If you believe that is the safest course of action then I will do as you advise. I want you to pick the men personally though. Pick people you trust. I'm still not sure we will truly need a theft but I suppose it would hurt to bring one as well. Did you have someone in mind for that as well? If not I suppose we can see who we have in the jail. I'm sure their would be someone there willing to aide us in exchange for a royal pardon."

“I did have someone in mind your Highness. That Master thief that was only painstakingly caught last year, Jack Spade. I figured that if you pardoned him he would be ideal. We could say we are transfering him in case he is not needed you would not have to pardon him but if he is needed then he is on hand to assist you. I can see no reason for him to decline though maybe we should take a couple other imprisoned rogues with us just incase he surprises us we're not in the middle of nowhere without a game plan.

“I will select the men myself, unfortunately I do not know many or the mariners so the crew will be small amongst those I know and trust few have the skills to sail and the ship's captain of course I have no control over not knowing anyone with such varied skills.”

"I will speak to my sister about that. I asked her to arrange for transportation. She'll will need to know about the addition soldiers in any case. As for the thief, I believe I am familiar with this Jack Spade character. It is my understanding that he is very clever and was very difficult to catch. His cleverness could be useful but it might also make him difficult to control. A guaranteed pardon may help but still... I would like to speak to him first. I need to get a sense of his character."

“Yes, of course my Highness. By your command.” He pared from her to deal with things as he saw fit leaving her to decide who to see first, her sister or the convict as she decided on a course of action.

"I will go and speak to my sister about this first. That way she can make the necessary changes while we are on our way to speak to the thief. Meet me by the castle gate in half an hour and we go head towards the prison." She dismissed him and went to go find Natalie. She found her quickly and filled her in on what she and Naramis had discussed. Once she was finished she made her way down to the gatehouse to meet the soldier.

Naramis nodded in agreement. “As you command my Highness.” She departed from the captain then met with her sister making the proper arrangements with her sister as far as arranging for a ship's captain and crew while Naramis was going to get the marines for the ship instead. It would take her a little while but she would make the arrangements. Granted, it would mot take her much time to get the changes done since Naramis was going to do most of the work in finding the right marines for the ship.

The arrangements made she went to meet Naramis. He still needed some time to find those with the right skills but had found a few people as it was. They had gone to the prison, Naramis had to turn over his weapons to the guards for no one in facility had been armed.

Jack they found was in a tower cell with both his wrists and ankles had shackles on htm. He could only move so far from the wall and turned to the door as the two were let in.

He seemed mildly surprised as he took in the form of the two. A guard and one of the Princesses, the older of the two.

“You Highness, what do I owe the pleasure?” He walked forward being stopped by the chains on his shacles of his ankles not to far away from the wall.
