Background:

Natasha has lived mostly in high society as her father was a lead engineer in an aeronautics company, and her mother was the owner of a popular ski lodge in Whistler. Natasha attended a private school during her early education. Most of her younger life was fairly standard an uneventful. However, during her younger years she developed her fascination with martial arts and Asian culture after watching an old kungfu movie with her father. Her parents fostered this interest by allowing her to attend a local dojo.

She became a favoured student to the Sensei as she would spend most of her time at the dojo, even spending hours with him simply meditating. She advanced quickly through the various belts despite of her young age, impressing both the Sensei and her parents from the surprising amount of maturity she began to display. Unfortunately that changed drastically as she reached her teenage years

After graduating and entering a private high school, she quickly became the target of bullying. Being one of the tallest girls in the school, smaller breasts, and having such an intense passion for martial arts, she quickly became the tomboy of the school. The boys felt intimidated by her and she was too disconnected from the girls so, finding friends was difficult. It wasn't long before all of her training and meditation began to falter under the constant barrage of insults due to her arrogant and aristocratic classmates.

When Natasha was about to enter the girls washroom, a group of boys walked by telling her that she was going to the wrong room and that the boys washroom was the next door over. Having taken enough of their abuse, as the boys walked by within arm's reach, Natasha broke the nose of one of the laughing boys. A fight ensued and each of the boys found themselves lying on the ground and Natasha found herself in the principal's office. It wasn't long for word to spread about her fight and it wouldn't be the last.

Finding such relief in finally standing up for herself, fights were a common occurrence, soon the school had enough. She was expelled and sent to another school, however it didn't end there, fights continued to break out no matter which school she attended. It was about this time that her parents received an invitation to send Natasha to Shokushu. Seeing that it was an all girls school, they believed that Natasha wouldn't have the trouble she had at other schools and she was enrolled. Unfortunately the experiences that Shokushu would have offered were cut short.

Within her second week in attendance, a independent group of would-be slavers illegally attempted to run the blockade and stole Natasha and a number of other random students. They were quickly apprehended as their ship was no match for the A.D.D. fleet. When the girls were rescued and brought back to Antares, the truth was revealed to them.

Natasha took the news as many of the girls did, confused and in shock for a time, yet when it was explained to them what the A.D.D. stood for, and offered to them, Natasha jumped at the idea of joining. She sailed through her training as her background lead itself to a majority of the skills required of an agent. Expanding her knowledge of hand-to-hand combat and weaponry knowledge, it wasn't long before she graduated and became a full agent of the A.D.D.

Starship: The Whistler
Class: Mid-Range Scout / Transport Ship




Description:
The Whistler is a specialized ship that had been modified from a standard A.D.D. transport ship to included experimental stealth systems. This class of ship was used mostly by agents moving cargo or personnel between planets or systems. The modified design has removed most of the cargo space in lieu of a stronger engine, better scanning equipment, and the stealth technology. The remaining cargo space had been altered to allow for some living area for the longer range missions and to transport additional agents. After the modifications were applied the ship had become much faster and highly maneuverable at sub-light speeds. After all the modifications were applied The ship's now is capable of a wide range of missions, from simple reconnaissance, to covert operations, to rescue missions, and even surprise attacks. All of these modifications did come at a cost; armament. The Whistler is lightly armored and only carries 1 rotating energy turret. While ineffective in full combat, the turret's main purpose is to delay a pursuing ship to allow the older jump drive time to power.

Stealth Systems:
When powered, these systems will render the ship invisible to long range scanning equipment, and when fully powered they will render the ship almost invisible to short range passive scanners. By trapping heat, energy signals, and capturing scanning signals, the ship would appear as either an small asteroid or piece of debris. Lastly, the ship's design renders computer targeting very difficult, this usually requires the ship to be targeted manually. This effect allows the pilot a better chance to dodge the manually targeted guns.

The technology isn't perfect as there are significant limitations to it's capability. Firstly, nothing can mask the energy of a ship making a jump to light speed. Next, the ship's main power must be off as it would be too strong to mask; and main engine power is drastically cut in order for the cooling system to hide. The ship would show up in a focused scan, but it's likely the ship would have to be detected before that type of scan would even be considered due to the logistics and time needed to have a focused scan of the entire area surrounding a ship. The ship is only invisible to scanning equipment and can be easily seen by looking through a window. Finally the ship can only hide so long before the cooling system for the ship would freeze those inside.

In the end the weaknesses of the ship reflect the overall design of the ship: covert operations. It's meant quietly sneak into heavily fortified territory and move freely within that territory. In combat, the ship should be using it's manuverability to avoid enemy fire while using it's limited weapons to delay it's pursuers while the older jump drive powers up for the ship to escape.

I hope I didn't go too far with the idea of a random group of amateur slavers just running the blockade. It was the only way her "sexually inexperienced" trait would make it through the whole rape school of Shokushu. So, please be gentle.

I am sure she'll get plenty of experience out there amung the stars finding new and interesting lifeforms...
