Post So much for a quiet read? - For Slimer
Anne sighed deeply while resting her ams on the windowsil looking out to the fields bathed with moonlight surrouding the school grounds brooding quietly to herself.

"What have i gotten myself into" she quietly whispers to herself.
"I mean.. Its gorgeous here and the teachers are mostly lovely but..."

With another sigh and shake of her head she flicks her freshly washed black hair over her shoulder taking a moment to take a look around the classroom taking in the long windows at the back of the class, the shut door with a chair strategicly placed in front of it and the ordely lines of seats facing the front before turning her back to it all, sitting down on a chair moved to face the window so she could bask in the moon with her book.

"Anyway. Peace at last" she murmurs to herself with a smile... "A empty classroom, no-one about, a gorgeous full moon - Bliss"

With a long strech she leans back on her seat, her comfy sweater stretching slightly as it hooks on the corner of the chair until she releases the stretch and settles down bathed in the light from the moon.

With a soft smile she smooths out her skirt, leans back and begins to read quietly just relaxing after a long and tiring day and just enjoying the peace and quiet.

Post Re: So much for a quiet read? - For Slimer
Slimer had been restless most of the night, and decided that a walk was in order. Normally, the weeks following new arrivals had been full of pleasure for himself in the past, but as it was he hadn't found any students that genuinely caught his interest. Most were pretty and tanned and had the classically beautiful looks that would drive most males crazy. Yet, he had been hunting awhile and what drove him most about these human women was their uniqueness. While some had the looks he liked, he stalked them to discover they lacked personality, or spirit, or hidden sexuality. He couldn't put a finger on it, but so far this group of new arrivals just hadn't produced the gem he must have.

On the brink for so long his lust had built and he was determined to find a release. Stalking the campus he was about to give up on yet another day unfulfilled when he spotted a beauty in a window. She rests comfortably in a chair in which her sweater was caught on the edge displaying prominently her chest. Her slim waist only helped accentuate her lovely hips, and the skirt did little to hide her pert backside.

Her dark hair glistened under the moonlight and her green eyes shone brightly, as she was absorbed in her book. Peering in through the long window he took in the unexpected sight. She was alone with the door blocked by a chair back rested under the handle. She certainly fit the bill of unique as not many students risked being alone on the island, but he hadn't glimpsed her before so she may be new and not realize the dangers that lurked. That she barred herself in a classroom seeking solitude to simply pursue an apparant passion for reading left the demon what other passions she may possess that need fulfillment.

Whether it was the lack of release, maybe the apparently perfect opportunity, or simply her amazing appearance, fate demanded that he not look this gift horse in the mouth. Taking in her lovely sight he began planning...

The book really wasn't all that good Anne decided. It looks so promising in the libary. A comedy all about a woman that got turned into the Queen of the undead rather against her wishes. But all it seemed to be was endless jokes about "Sink-Lair" and shoes. In a different mood she could possibly have found it funny but at the moment Anne just wasn't quite in the mood for such blatant humor. The workload was steadilly growing and her own free time was decreasing. Even though there were bright spots, especially in Maylie, tonight Anne had really set her heart on a few hours quietly with a book, no distractions and just some me time which had now been ruined by her own bad choice of a book.

With a forlorn sigh she thrust the book back in her bag and stood, throwing the bag over her shoulder.

Taking a last long look out of the window she sighed again "What a waste of a beautiful night" Anne said in a sulky tone.

The demon was busy planning but it came to an abrupt halt as she tossed the book in her bag and stood up. It appeared as though she would not be continuing her pursuit of the book tonight for whatever reason and her time in the isolated classroom would shortly be coming to and end. He decided his best course of action would be to head inside and see what opportunity presented itself there, whether it was to wait for the door to open and surprise her there or to follow her to her dormroom. The dormroom could he tricky as some new girls found roommates relatively quickly while some did not but handling two girls could double the fun, it also doubled the complications.

Slimer headed to the maintainence enterance quickly. The door was located a short distance away on his side of the building. Walking in the hallways were darkened as most of the staff har gone to retire for the evening although there were occassional lights coming from some offices. He stalked invisibly towards the room with his prize and began waiting while he weighed his options.

Anne quietly stepped to the door and picked up the chair unhooking it from the door, opening the door she took a quick glance down each side of the corridor.

No-one. Good.

At least she could get back to her dorm quietly and maybe have a good nights sleep.

Taking the chair she placed it back to its proper position, and took a last look around the classroom to make sure all was in order and she wasn't leaving anything behind, before stepping out of the door and heading down the corridor heading towards the dorms, her bag slung over her shoulder as she quietly walked down the darkened corridor.

It seemed the demon couldn't be blessed with better luck, as he approached the door it opened and he froze a few feet away and got his first good up-close look at his prize. If she was striking at a distance she was even more breath taking this close. Her features were fine and her eyes gleamed in the moonlight. Her hair glistened in the fading light and seemed well cared for. Her uniform accentuated all her curves, and he was reminded once again to thank whoever mandated the school girl look.

She carrying her bag making her way down the darkened hallway and he was driven by need to take her there, but knew the such impatience was simply foolish. The risk of being caught assualting the student was too high in the darkened hallways.

He put his devious mind to work and decided luring her into an abandoned room at this time of night had the most potential to take his time with her. For now he settled on a plan and he watched her loving hips as she walked in fron of him and waited as the next door approached rapidly. He slung an invisible tentacle along the floor and wall corner and shot it up to the handle, quickly pulling it and pushing the door open. She might run or investigate, time would tell but he was ready for either eventuality and he retracted the tentacle quickly.

*click*

The sound was loud in the silence of the hall causing Anne to jump, her sulky mood banished as her heart suddenly picked up its pace. As she looked around she saw a door slowly swing open. Taking a couple of steps away she flattened her back to the wall and held her breath, hoping that whoever was there wasn't going to come out.

*Thud Thud*

Her heart picked up the pace as she stood, back flat against the wall, looking at the door.

*Thud Thud*

ll she could see was a room as dark as the corridor through the gap. No lights.

*Thud Thud*

No anything. So what had caused the door to swing open?

*Thud Thud*

Was it some of the girls playing a trick? Letting out a breath she spoke very firmly to her heartbeat and her nerves getting both under control. Standing there a little while more she looked down each way of the corridor, pulling her long hair back behind her ears, straining her senses to make out what had caused the door to open

Still nothing... no sound, no one...

Another few moments passed before Anne stepped away from the wall, looking tenatively at the door, her natural curiousity warring with common sense.

"Hello?" She called softly, the single word sounding lost in the corridor.

Slimer smiled in the darkness as the sudden opening of the door unexpectedly had its intended effect. The beautiful student backed against a wall staring into the yawning abysmal darkness that seemed to permeate out from the room. Waiting to see if she took the bait he prepared for the other eventuality. The room was still but his eyes quickly drifted back to his intended prey.

She seemed sufficiently startled, he debated answering her call, admiring her form and her silky hair as she nervously tucked it behind her ears, but Slimer wondered if he did would she bolt. While he had confidence in the speed of his tentacles, the rooms were sound proofed. Her struggles in the hall had the potential to attract notice, and he did not intend to have his fun interrupted. The chance might be low this time of night, but he opted for caution. Perhaps she would yet let curiosity win, and take the bait, if not he would chance the risk. Patience one of his greatest virtues though, reared its head and he calmy waited to see what she would do...

Nothing. No reply. No sounds at all!

Anne stood, barely breathing still listening for another moment that seemed to hang for an eternity, turning her head gently side to side.

Anne stomped her foot in a sudden pique of irritation. "This is /stupid/" She exclaimed out loud with a little heat. "There is either someone there that is being a idiot, or there isn't! No teacher would be in a room with the lights off, opening the doors!"

Taking 2 long strides to the door she pushed it open fully, taking a step inside and hitting the light. Blinking a couple of times as her eyes adjusted to the sudden light she looked around.

No-one. Just as she expected.

The room was a classroom just like the one she had left a moment ago. Orderly rows of desks waiting for the next class in the morning. Each table was neatly arrayed facting the front, their clean, empty surfaces gleaming slightly from the light.

With a dry chuckle at herself she reached for the light, flicking it off. "Ah well" she said, resolving to get back to her dorm before anything else strange happened and get that good nights sleep she was promising herself.

Post Re: So much for a quiet read? - For Slimer
Slimer watched as she steeled her courage to explore the strange door opening of its own accord. She approached and he stepped behind her as she entered. The lights flickered to life and she examined the room with her gem like eyes, the demon used the opportunity to slip next to the door. After she had satisfied her curiosity that the room was empty she visiably appeared to calm and switched off the lights and spun to exit.

Slimer began extending his tentacles in preparation to coil and secure his victim as she was about to step out of the darkened room. He paused though when the telltale clomping of footsteps came echoing up the hall. He froze in place waiting to see the outcome.

The footsteps perhaps had saved the student or doomed her based on the moments to come. Did they belong to a janitor, or security, or even a patrolling headgirl looking for students to catch breaking the rules? Either way he wasn't about to expose himself to possible trouble.

Freezing he waits to see if she would hide or face what was coming, would she escape a night with the demon but put herself into possible other trouble? Only time would tell...

Anne heard the footsteps just as she turned off the light. They sounded like a mans footfall to her ears, heavy and sure as they approached.

"Damn!" She cursed under her breath. With a moments hesitation she sidestepped so she was further into the room, her back against the wall and tried her best in fading into the gloom. The footsteps approached ever closer and Anne held her breath hoping that they would pass.

She wasn't technically doing anything wrong she thought to herself, but she just wanted to get back to her dorm quietly, without running into anyone that might give her work (Some of the teachers seemed to love giving extra studies) or even worse, someone that wanted to talk to her and would end up keeping her up until late.

Caught in indecision she froze again, her mind whirring, trying to decide wether it was better to exit the classroom and just confront who was there, or to stay where she was and see if they walked past. As she stood, she heard the footfalls approach closer.. and closer..

And then they passed without the slightest pause.

Anne breathed a sigh of relief as she heard the footfalls fade, deciding to get a move on and get back to her dorm before anything else happened. "I really have had enough of this night" She thought to herself.

Counting to 10 to make sure there was no other noise she stepped away from the wall, hefted her bag and walked towards the door to leave the room.

Slimer watched and waited as did the student. She seemed torn in indecision between walking out into the hallway or evading notice by remaining in the darkened room. He watches her huddle against the wall and can feel the anticipation building. Fortunately she hid while the steady footsteps trodded by, and unfortunately for her he prepared to grab the unsuspecting student.

He extended the inch thick tentacles from under his arms as she shouldered her bag and prepared to leave. In the darkness his blurred form would be even harder to see, as she approached he reached out an arm and slammed the door shut quickly twisting the lock with an audible click.

Watching her form he waits to see her reaction tentqcles creeping along the floor in the darkness ready to grab her if needed. His large form appears in the darkness of the moonlight.

Welcome I'm so happy you decided to stay, The demon's voice rumbled through the darkness...

Just as she reached the door it slammed shut with enough force to rattle the frame, causing Anne to jump back in suprise

As she stepped back there was an audible *click* as the lock engaged, and Anne stared at the lock for a moment, before swinging around to see what had slammed the door and locked it adrenaline starting to seep back into her system.

As her gaze flew over the moonlight drenched classroom she saw nothing...

"Wha.." She managed to breath before a voice came from the room

"Welcome I'm so happy you decided to stay" a disembodied voice said, speaking a strange accent that she couldn't place, but sounding human.

Taking a step back again so her back was against the door she carried on scanning the room as her hand moved towards the lock to disengage it. She still couldn't see anything.

"Who's there?" She said, her voice coming out in a confident tone amazingly, given inside she was a little shaken by the sudden slam of the door.

Slimer watches as the startled girl spins around and calmly asks who's there.
Now, now, no need to be rude and try to leave just yet... and with that he shoots a tentacle towards the wrist seeking to work the lock and another tentacle towards her other wrist as her hand presses against the door. If successful he would yank her wrists and pin them above her head against the door. If he fails would he would simply retract them back to his sides.

She seemed calm so far and he wonders if her bravery would hold when he fully reveals himself under the light and she realizes her predicament.

They call me Slimer...

As her hand found the lock and began to turn it she thought "just a little bit more"

The unseen voice in the dark spoke again, although Anne's concentration was mostly on the lock and only dimly heard what was said.

Now, now, no need to be rude and try to leave just yet...

Suddenly she felt her hand pushed against the door, flattening her hand at a painful angle. With a squeek she looked down at her wrist but she couldn't see anything holding it there. Quickly she turned slightly bringing her other hand around to try and move the trapped hand but she had only just turned before she felt that one caught and slammed back into the door.

Her heart picked up the pace as she struggled against the unseen bonds, adrenaline flooding into her system again as she franticly looked around the room trying to see... anything...

Still nothing, but from that nothingness the voice spoke again

"They call me Slimer..."

"Slimer? What sort of name is slimer?" The words were out of her lips before she could bite them back, the fear she was feeling being drowned by the adrenaline flooding through her system. Still not certain what was going on Anne kept looking around the class trying to see where this voice was coming from. It had to be some sort of trick surely?
