Background: Aina was born the child of a rich Japanese businessman in Paris on long term business and his French mistress. Her father was in an unhappy marriage for the good of his company and family but after he met her mother he wanted to divorce his current wife and marry her instead. So when Aina was 7 he returned to Japan in hopes of convincing his mother to let him remarry. However his mother, the head of the family, adamantly refused the notion and threatened to disown him if he had contact with her again.

That had seemed to be the end of it as he did not want to trouble his true love as she was quite sickly contact faded between them. However, several years passed and no heir was born between Aina's father and his legal wife Aina's grandmother decided drastic measures were necessary and traveled to France with a proposal to Aina's mother. "Send Aina to Japan with me and you will have all the money you will ever need. We will raise her into a fine lady. However, you must not contact her or her father ever again."

With little choice as her family's business had recently taken a massive downturn along with her health Aina's mother sadly sent her to Japan alone at the age of 12. It was only several more years afterward on Aina's 19th birthday that her father managed to father another heir, a boy, that Aina who had little to do with family politics now that their was a legal heir to inherit the family decided to travel abroad for college...to Shokushu.

Personality: Aina is somewhat of an over-achiever excelling at most things both athletic and academic based. However this stems from her desire to be accepted by her new family and peers so as to not let down their expectations. On the social side of her life many of Aina's friends would describe her as a bit of an airhead, as she's completely oblivious to the fact they want to have sex with her, and is quite the heavy sleeper with her requiring an actual person to come and get her up as she could sleep right through multiple alarm clocks going off.
