Return to The Dark Lagoon (Anne Deas)
In the middle of the forest there is a secluded spot with a lagoon in the middle. This has been a famous site for student, although only a few had actually been here. Students only knowledge of this place was basic at best, and quite a lot had lost their way in trying to come here. The few that managed to come have, however, mysteriously lost all knowledge of how they reached this place.
It was surrounded by the mountains and laid in the shadow of the tallest peak. It was naturally shielded from the sun...the effect it had on the lagoon was that of being indoors. Lastly, it was skirted all around by a thick forest, where people easily get lost, or disappear.
--------------------------------------------
The sun disturbed the creature. Not that he referred to himself as such...he was far too proud to even refer to himself as a creature. He skirted through the shadows until he found the forest. This forest that was called the 'Wailing Forest' because of the ghostly moans and groans that can be heard from deep within.
Only creatures of the dark such as him knew those sounds for what they were, and they were music to his ears.
He came upon the edge, surprisingly dark, although the sun shone overhead. It was as if he was inside a building, covered by concrete walls although the ground was grass, the wall ahead was rock, and this water was natural. As natural as himself.
He looked around, and thought to himself, was he himself lost? Impossible.

Re: Return to The Dark Lagoon (Anne Deas)
*schloooosh*
The noise filled Annes ears as she pulled her head from the water, her long black hair cascading water as she reorintated her body in the water, smiling as she felt the water caress and support her curves as she moved from floating to upright. Her bare feet found the sandy bottom elicting a happy sigh as she scrunched her feet, feeling the fine grains of sand slide between her toes as she took a moment to wipe the water and a few stray hairs from her eyes and look around.
Her smile abuptly faded as she realised she had NO idea where she was! She had decided it was a gorgeous day and had decided to spend a couple of hours floating in the shallows of the sea, and she had done just that. From her exploring she had a fairly good idea of the area around the school, including many of the quiet spots that for whatever reason other students didn't frequent often.
As it was she had packed a bag with a towel, a small lunch of a couple of peices of fruit that she had grabbed from the refectory and her bikini (a fairly plain but highly flattering black one peice, edged in red that shimmered even when dry that her parents had brought her. It was custom fitted and it hugged her curves perfectly, accenuating her shape. The lady fitting it had said "that it would make her slide through the water like she was born to it" but privately she thought that was a pile of horse manure. After all the dress accenuated her already ample bosum a little too much! Still, she couldn't deny that she loved the effect although she would never feel entirely confident wearing it around others.
Unfortunately, now, as she looked at the beach her bag wasn't there. In fact, nor was the beach that it was on! All she could see was a ring of sand that encircled her and a fairly dense looking circle of trees. She was in a lake!
"Where the bloody hell am i?" She exlaimed as she turned a full circle in the water. The sun was still high in the sky and it seemed she hadn't lost any time... but how did she end up in a lake!?

Re: Return to The Dark Lagoon (Anne Deas)
He let his eyes get accentuated to the place, let it be drawn by the properties mystical that seemed to permeate every part of the place.
It was an impressive lake/lagoon hyrbrid that stretched around for a foreseeable mile before it closed up on itself. The waters were crystalline, and was casting a reflection onto the rock formations far ahead. It was inviting, as if the water was sentient, telling the demon to come and partake in its beauty. But he thought long and hard about how he could do that...after all, demons cast a 'unique' quality in the water, and even if he disguised himself, the quality would reveal him.
He decided to skirt the water, silently looking at it while still marveling...
SPLASH!
Something came up that instantly made him don a camouflage to stop anyone from seeing him. It was the head of a girl...a nice looking girl, perfect from where he was viewing her. The curves and the angles that were enhanced by her one-piece swimsuit made him ogle all the more...and from the look on her face, she was lost as well.
He smiled. This seems to be controlled by malevolent spirits as well, and he watched her silently, devising a plan.

Re: Return to The Dark Lagoon (Anne Deas)
Her brow creased with puzzlement Anne took a few strides towards the beach, the water parting reluctantly as she left its reaches. Stopping once she had gotten close enough that the lapping water was merely at knee depth she looked around again.
"Well... Bugger" She said loudly, her words being swallowed up by the silence even as they left her lips.
There was nothing. No noise aside from a gentle rustle of the trees that surrounded her and the lake. No breeze that she could feel. Even the water of the lake remained smooth - completely unblemished by the wind that she could hear rustling though the trees. It was almost like being in the water was to be removed from the world itself. In fact... she could almost hear the lake calling to her...
Shaking her head at her own thoughts she turned away, back towards the treeline and abruptly sat with a loud splash. The water flowed around her body, supporting her and she felt like it was slowly massaging her tense muscles. Anne loved the water, and loved swimming in it. She had always felt safe when swimming and had never had reason to fear it, although she always had respected the power of the ocean. But this.. this was strange! Drawing up her legs up to her chin Anne looked at the beach. It was warm in the water and she needed a moment to think of what to do next.
"Its like some sort of alien saucer beamed her up and deposited me here!" She muttered to herself, resting her chin on her knees, wrapping her arms around herself even as the water enfolded her with its own gentle caress. "What do I do now?"

Re: Return to The Dark Lagoon (Anne Deas)
The girl was wearing a nice piece on her that made her look good enough to eat. In fact, it accentuated her curves further, even furthering her breasts which were already impressive enough to attract even without the help of the suit. It was even enough to maybe sleep on, in his thought...those breasts would fit snugly in his palms. He took a look at them and smiled devilishly.
His only problem was still his natural aversion to water. The steam would rise from that lake as a result, and that would only serve to give away some sense of revelation that there was something silently stalking her. Not that that would be something different or anything, but it would have been nice enough to keep his presence hidden before doing anything drastic, or...
Damn the consequences.
He slowly dipped himself into the water, unseen. Ripples emanated from his invisible form, although the steam that rose was thick enough to imitate mist approaching the lake from all directions. Maybe it was a stroke of luck on his part. Either way, he slowly moved deeper into the lake, moving closer and closer to the slowly swimming form of the girl.

Re: Return to The Dark Lagoon (Anne Deas)
Anne stood, puzzled. The water slid off her frame creating trails of water that glimmered in the sunlight leaving her body and bathing costume reflecting the light from the noon-day sun while her dark waterlogged hair plastered her face and back. Pulling the heavy strands away from her eyes and back behind her ears she looked at the forming mist off to one side. She had only been sat for a short time and now there was mist? Really, what the bloody hell was going on here?
The odd thing was that the mist seemed to be concetrated in a small place. It wasn't as if it was front of mist moving in, but more of a cone, like someone had tipped in something causing a reaction with the water. With that thought she glanced at the water worriedly in case there was something in the water approaching her but it seemed as still and clear as when she first arrived.
"How strange" she murmured to herself as she watched. Suddenly she realised that the mist wasn't stationery but it was actually moving directly towards her!
Mouth moving into a "O" of suprise she took a step away, her movement disturbing the crystaline stillness of the water creating ripples as she stepped backwards. "What was going on here?" she wondered, again. "First enjoying a swim on a beach and then finding herself in a lake and now random mist formations? Ridiculous! Absolutely bloody ridiculous!"
Pique suddenly getting the better of her she stopped in midstride and stomped her foot as hard as it would go into the water, managing only to create a series of ripples and send up a small puff of sand which was swallowed almost imediately by a hidden current.
"Enough!" She shouted, infuriated at the strangeness of everything that was going on around her "What the hell is going on here!? Where am I and who's playing tricks on me?!"

Re: Return to The Dark Lagoon (Anne Deas)
It was far too much to ask for her to believe that a somewhat magical mist had formed...she wasn't born yesterday. And yet, here he was, still stupidly submerged in the water, the water around him quickly turning into steam.
He looked at her. She was looking unbelievably in his direction, although he knew she could not see nothing but the 'mist'. She was screaming bloody murder in the air...he however, remained still. She would see the ripples form from him, and she would throw a fit.
Not that she wasn't throwing a fit now, though. She screamed and wanted to know who was guilty of doing this. He wanted to know for himself, as well. No one would get away with making a fool of Lilitu, but this was more of a reward for him. She was here, with him, and there wasn't anyone else.
His next movement was to dive deeper into the water, and create a whole lot of steam that would certainly get the whole place 'misty'.

Re: Return to The Dark Lagoon (Anne Deas)
While there was no reply to her angry shouts she couldn't deny that it did make her feel better. So she continued, slowly turning the air blue as she started delving into her repertoire of VERY unladylike phrases, almost all of which would of made her familly cry with shame if she used them in front of them.
Half way though a rather graphic expletive depicting the tail end of a donkey, someones mother and something that even God would have a hard time achieving she stopped abruptly, for the first time noticing that the mist (which had oddly stopped moving towards her once she started cursing) was now lengthening and widening at rapid speed.
Taking an involuntary step back she looked around and realised that it wasn't so much that the mist was lengthening, but that it was already surrounding her and was thickening quite literally as she watched. Suddenly deciding that being in the water while it was getting this misty was an EXTREMELY bad idea she started making her way as fast as as she could towards the beach which, while close, was already starting to disappear as the mist thickened.

Re: Return to The Dark Lagoon (Anne Deas)
This was a live one. The mouth she had on her was lovely, and it amused the old demon so much that a girl this young would know language that would make even the toughest minions blush. However, halfway between the god part and the donkey, he noticed that his mist effect was actually working.
He himself could not see the girl, let alone the banks of the lake. The only thing that let him know that the girl was still with him was her incessant blaring at the sky like an obscene baseball commentary, shouting at the top of her lungs to god-knows-what and who knows where. He slowly waded toward her, confident in the knowledge that she won't know what hit her.
Somehow, though, the tell-tale signs of feet leaving the water spurned the demon into action. Springing out of the water at the same time that her sounds started to disappear, he raced along the coastline in invisible form, hoping to catch the girl before she got out.
He counted on the mist helping him, but he didn't expect this.

Re: Return to The Dark Lagoon (Anne Deas)
Her Feet made wet squelching sounds on the damp sand as Anne managed to finally get out of the water. Making sure she had definately cleared the water she kept running until the mist started to thin before slowing and then stopping. Looking around once more she could see she was a little closer to the treeline but more importantly she was out of the worst of the mist, it still clinging to the water like a shroud.
*Slosh*
Annes helf her breath as she heard the distinctive sound of something leaving the water just as she had a moment ago. For a paniced moment she thought about running but she realised that she had no-where to run too! Besides, this might be the person who was playing tricks on her and she really wanted to get this stunt over and done with.
Standing as quietly as she could she narrowed her green eyes against the mist trying to spot the person she knew must be approaching. Her blood still up, she was fully ready to punch this idiot in the face if they didn't have a damned good explanation to why they pulled this stunt.

Re: Return to The Dark Lagoon (Anne Deas)
He had to make do with tracking her footsteps at first. The soil was wet, and her feet sloshed quite nicely through them. It would be a bit troublesome if she made it to the portal, but it would be to no avail. Thankfully, the portal was too small now to fit a human, and there would be no way she would ever fit in that place. His pace slowed down.
Yet the damage had already been done. She reacted as if she heard something come out of the water after her, although she didn't really see who was coming out of the water and where she was supposed to go to confront it. There was no doubt, she was going to confront it...her actions told him otherwise. He wouldn't make a move, though.
He wheeled around her, slowly watching her reactions, avoiding bumping into her lest that fist meets his mouth and she would know that her suspicions have sufficient ground. However, he began to speak.
" Well, well, what a predicament we are in."

Re: Return to The Dark Lagoon (Anne Deas)
Anne spun on heel, hair spining in a graceful arc spraying drops of water into the mist as she rounded to face the sudden voice. It was coming from THER...
Nothing. Just more mist!
In a fit of pique she stomped her foot making a firm rounded footprint in the sand, balling her fists and glaring even as she looked around again. "Tell me whats going on you bastard!" Anne shouted, her temper still flaring hot "What kind of trick is this!?"
The mist was still thick but was beginning to clear, allowing her to see the forest more clearly. She was still a way away from which only made her more infuriated. If she could see the forest why the hell couldn't she whoever just spoke to her!

Re: Return to The Dark Lagoon (Anne Deas)
She wheeled around to see him, but of course she couldn't. It wasn't fair. He was cheating, and he loved every minute of it. Why should he play fair? After all, he was the monster, the devil, the liar. Wasn't this what monsters were supposed to do. He wheeled around with her, as if she could see him, as if he was avoiding her stare. A sudden turn, and he extended an invisible finger and gave a light but firm tap on the girl's shoulder. He'd better avoid those droplets, though. More mist. Momo wrote: "Tell me whats going on you bastard!" Anne shouted, her temper still flaring hot "What kind of trick is this!?" She was matching the heat of his body with her temper. If that didn't make them destined to be together, he didn't know what was. He was now into this, so much so that he fought the urge to cackle, or even more to take her down, and take her now. " Why should I?" he spoke in response, moving as he spoke. The effect was that his voice seemed to come from all directions. " It's so much fun doing this."

Re: Return to The Dark Lagoon (Anne Deas)
Anne jumped what felt like a mile when she felt the touch on her shoulder, barely avoiding shrieking at the unexpected contact. Spinning on her heel once again she spun around, her hair again catching the light as it completed its arc almost blinding her as it wrapped around her head.
Angrilly wiping the thick strands from her eyes she glared at the nothing that she could see, her shoulders and chest heaving with emotion as her hands clenched and unclenched.
"Why should I?" The voice said again "It's so much fun doing this." The voice this time didn't come from anywhere but everwhere.
The poke on the shoulder, and the mocking voice had managed to put her over the edge from mad into unthinking rage. The worst part is that she didn't have any outlet.
"ITS BLOODY NOT!" Anne screamed back, attempting to counter the voice and vent her frustration by pure volume alone "ONCE I GET MY HANDS ON YOU I'M GOING TO TEAR YOUR BLOODY THROAT OUT!"

Re: Return to The Dark Lagoon (Anne Deas)
" Ah, that won't be necessary."
Lilitu moved around, light on his toes, clearly enjoying the advantage he had on the girl. He was looking at her with much gusto now, and had ideas in his mind she surely would not like. However, the fun would stay on.
She was still wearing something, but he would remedy that. He slowly moved in, tapped her shoulder once more, and moved away again. He kept at this for quite some time, ignoring her tirades, and relishing in the fact that he would literally see her fume.
He moved in, clicked his fingers. She would hear that. However, he didn't care...he needed to draw one sharpened nail out...and swiped in a quick motion, striking at one strap that was holding her suit in place.
" There we go, that's better." he spoke, licking his lips.
