“Yes, last night was my last meal, I drank before I came to you and from you ...” he gazed at her and smile after shaking his head a little. “No, I did not drink from a sentient, well you being the last sentient. It does not matter though, that was when you were alive completely so the blood is still good. If I were to drink from you now you would be unable to feed off of me. We could still make exchanges of course but the transition process would not be possible. Essentially you are tapping into the life blood that is flowing through me temporarily.

“Technically, now if you were to drink after I drank from you now you could gain no nutrients from me. But that is not the case ...” he clarified matters a little, though in a long, winded version he had answered 'yes'.

He smile and let her drink as sharp fangs pierced his skin, he knew it would be painful, a little discomforting but he dealt with it easily enough as she greedily went to work sucking out this blood. He taught her now as she drank, told her to slow her actions, how best to draw forth the blood, which would have been best if blood was being pumped through his veins. It was best that she was able to practice on him though for he could coach her, his hand stroking the back of her head while she drank until she had her fill and pulled away.

“There is not need to apologize, senioretta,” he smiled at her. “That was educational for your first kiss. I was glad to be of assistance and could better coach you by feeling your fangs-”

He stopped, the door opening as two masked figures entered the warehouse. One was wearing a skull-like mask, the other a bat-like which she had seen her brother wearing the other night. The two were keeping to the shadows, moving towards a door at the opposite end of the room where the thudd of that heartbeat was coming from.

Rico gestured to follow. “We'll get them while they are distracted with Helena but before they can get to her.”

He then began to follow.

Lettie gave a quick nod and followed Rico as quietly as possible. She could feel the tension in the room growing thicker which each nervous beat of Helena's heart. Did she knew they were coming? Her hearing was not nearly as good as the other four bodies moving through the space towards her. Poor Helena. How terrifying it must be to the last one standing after a focused murdering spree of her family, to be forced to hide all alone in a place like this and unable to hear your murderers coming. Lettie was determined to save her. She just hoped that Rico had been right about her power being greater than that of her brother's. He still have a small advantage over her in that these abilities were still new to her and untested in combat whereas he had had time to practice his growing skills. She just had to hope that some things were instinctive and that the power distance between them was great enough to make up for the rest.

A gunshot rang out shortly after they pursed the pair. Sebastain had unhooked a simple garden rake from his belt the middle prong remove so the other two could be pressed to the neck simulating the puncture wounds of a vampire. With his mask it would have been easier for him to draw blood this way and she realized that it must have hit the wall all that time ago and had been the scrapping sound that she had heard.

But Helenta took a shot. She was in a room lit by a lantern that shed it's light. There was another door on the far sid of the room and as she and Rico entered the could see Helena with a smoking revolver and both targets movin in at her from either side.

Rico rushed forward, He could only assume that skull mask was James Moriarity, the professor and grappled with him leaving bat mask or Sebastain to her doing. Now Lettie had wondered about the experience gap but would the differences be enough?

Sebastain was bleeding faintly in the shoulder where he was shot though he swatted the gun away from Helena, getting ready to close in despite the tussel that his Master was having. He could get stronger though her blood, then assist his Master when he was stronger and better able, maybe even distracting him enough to let Moriarity drink aned become stronger too then rejoin him. But it appeared as if Sebastain was yet to notice or even care about his sister.

Lettie didn't stop to think. Seeing her brother, wearing that horrible mask, heading towards Helena was enough of a catalyst to set her body in motion. Her protective instincts kicked into action and she flew to the rescue of the last Harper woman. Faster than she thought possible she barreled, shoulder first, into the man that must be her brother and tackled him to the ground. "Stay back, Helena!!" She shouted over her shoulder as she grappled with her brother for the weapon he was carrying.

Since he had not been expecting it Sebastain had no time to brace for the strike. He had just looked to his comanion as she slammed into him shoulder first, He was strong, she stringer,''The wind was driven out of him as his weaon fell from his grasp. He reeled as he was forced back a few stps then looked to see just wj=hat the hell hit him just now.

“Lettie? Little Lettie. Too bad you had betrayed me I would have turned you, made you stronger and made you immoral in the ned too,:

Her hear beat had dulled significantly but it still beat slowl. He was unsure as to how or why this was not having experience it before now.

He was unsure of what he was sensing now.

"Pfft! I'm sure you would have taken great care of me, brother." She glared daggerously at him as she scoffed at his words. "Just like you took care of my memories. God only know when they'll come back. No, brother, you are sloppy. If I had waited for you to turn me there would be nothing of this me left. I like my way better. It lets me stop you from killing anymore innocents in your mad quest for power."

She positioned herself between him and Helena, cutting off his path to her. She was making it clear that she would not let him get to Helena without going through her. She didn't dare look back at the other woman but she hoped she would be smart and stay out of the way.

“Very well, if I have to go through you so be it.” Sebastain retorted as Moraity lunged at Helena, whe fired again, a spray of blood coming out of his shoulder though momentum took him to the table as she moved, a hand sweeping at her and missing as the lantern was knocked to th floor setting it alight though Rico was soon upon him again allowing Helena to rush to the door and get out of it. She initially lost the gun but with the distraction Lettie provided she managed to recover it.

Sebastain still had been unsure of what he was sensing now though he came forward leaping towards his sister, though was amazed to see that her reflexes were quicker than he had anticipated as she was able to evade her all to easily.

The fire blazed cutting her off from Rico and Moriarty and leaving her to square off against her brother

Lettie was amazed herself. Even with all the distractions around her, she'd still had plenty of time to avoid her brother's attack. He was just moving slower than her and her instincts had kicked in to forewarn her of his intentions. Of course, dodging was going to start getting harder as the fire began to blaze around them. It cut off her view of what Rico and Moriarty were doing. "It's over, Sebastian. You are too injured to fight me. If you persist in this futile quest of yours then I'm afraid I'll have to put an end to you. And I can now, Bastian. I'm not as weak as I was when you last saw me..."

He hissed as she evaded him so easily. Why was she able to evade him so easily? Why? He seemed surprised as the flames licked at the floor cutting her and Rico off. The crackle of burning woood grew louder in her ears as the fire was already out of control.

“I shall not, not when getting this close!”

He lunged but his movements seemed so slow, they weren't of course it was just that her reflexes were so much better, her perceptions vastly superoor. Rico had told her that she and her brother were in different leagues and wit the added advantage of not being wounded already he wearily pressed in again though this time his time she noticed a red crimson stain that soread over his shirt.

The four wounds to his chest had not fully healed though Sebastain was fairly determined to show her how superior he was despite that not being the case.

Lettie frowned at her brother. She supposed it was foolish to expect him to just give up but if he didn't relent she'd be forced to kill him. Except she didn't know how or even if she could. She had no weapons and even in his half transformed state he would most likely prove hard to dispatch. Not to mention she had never killed anyone before. Even if he did deserve it, she expected it would be difficult to actually go through with killing him herself.

"You've already failed, Sebastian." She backed towards the flames. Maybe it she goaded him enough he would mess up and end up destroying himself. "You went about this all wrong. Murdering six women was a foolish waste of time. You would have done better to seek out someone who was already a vampire to turn you... as I have." She added as an after thought. He hadn't seemed to have put it together himself yet. Perhaps if she simply blunted out it would incite his anger enough to bring him towards the flames.

His eyes widened for a moment as comprhension hit. He snarled a little as he glared at her.

“Well we all can't be little sluts like you!” he spat, she had touched a nerve as he lunged at her, though he seemed far to slower, her perceptions just that much better than they ever were. So much so that she knew the fire was two meters behind her, that even now it both crackled and warmed as it called to her, called to consume the impurities of unlife or rather the transitions she was making.

Sebastain may not have realized that he was over matched yet, that he was fueled by his anger at her words, how easily sh could succeed when he had to laborer over this and even then he still needed more blood, he had been a foool and while Moriarity would not betray his right hand man he realized that Moriarty was likely to just turn him, to enslave him to make sure there were no problems in the future.

Lettie frowned at her brother's vulgarity but she couldn't actually deny his words. She had slept with Rico even though he had been a relative stranger which was admittedly a little slutty. Still, she had not been an easy conquest by any means and now they were bound to each other by blood and emotions far deeper than any Sebastian seemed capable of. "Call me what you will, Sebastian, but you can't belittle the connection I have made with Rico. Even for creature of darkness he has proven to be a better man than you, one who is capable a love and kindness. I feel no shame in aligning myself with him. He has show more compassion for me than my own family has. He asked my permission before turning me and has done so in such a way that I shall not be a slave to him nor to the thirst for blood.

"You on the other hand have only ever thought of me as a tool to be used to achieve your goals. You experimented on me, used me and would have made me a mindless slave if you had achieved your goal sooner. You are a reckless fool and I am glad I no longer have any memories of our past together. I'm sure my life will be happier for their absence." She continued taunting, as she backed closer still to the fire. She needed to be close enough that he would not be able to avoid the flames once he lunge for her again.

“Oh, if not for these flames I wouldn't have minded gutting that boyfriend of yours.” He drew a knife, the blade siler reflecting in the reddish glow of the fire light. The blade was coated in something, a poison, no that made no sense …

“Silver, the bane of vampires. I figured Rico would try to show up again on this night and even perpared a little surprise for him. This dagger is coated with Deadman's blood, essentially it is poison to a vampire, one knick might not be fatal but it will hurt like hell. A plunge of the weapon or deeper cut will be fatal my dear. But the professor will have to take care of him it seems and I you.

“Unfortunately, you were unuseful as you were and the experiments were a failure, but alas ...” he smirked at her as he turned the dagger about in his hands. “I was looking to see just how effective this poison was. I guess you'll have to do, Lettie!”

He lunged at her then, the point of that dagger leveled at her heart. Everything seemed to be flowing in slow motion though, he did not seem to be moving too fast though she was well aware that infact he was.

Lettie wasn't sure how effective silver would be against a vampire like Rico but seeing as she was still mostly human she had a pretty good theory that it could still kill her. That is, if her brother could touch her with it. She waited until the last second before dodging his lunge, again banked on the flames to do her work for her. If he didn't get caught in the flames this time she was going to have to find a weapon of her own. Or maybe just take his from him.

He came at her though fortunately he seemed too slow now and she was able to evade him without much difficulty. He sored past where she had been moments before, flames licked at him burning his face and chest causing him to step back and howl in pain.

Sebastain dropped his weapon as he howled out in pain beating at the flames that had been radiating from his skin. He would probably be fine, she had seen him take four shots after all though this time had been painful.

The flames probably would not kill him for had been distractful enough where his attention had gone towards smothering those flames rather than attemtpting to go after her.
