Kirsty made what she considered to be a disgustingly feminine sound of surprise and alarm when Harold suddenly seized her hips and bit her tongue to prevent herself from making another when she felt his hard prick pressing into her backside. Why the bloody asshole. He kissed her neck sensually and her ears filled with static and her face flushed, first with embarrassment and then with anger. "Get your hands... Gah!!!" She seized his hand as he attempted to lift her top and spoke the gritted teeth. "Have you lost your mind!? This is hardly the time or place for a seduction scene!" She saw that the Mezz was still watching them with a mere curiosity. Like it was trying to decide what they were doing there. "Hold onto the light, not me, you ass..." She hissed. Not wanting to alarm the creature with her raised voice.

She struggled finding Harold a bit too strong for her as she tried to pry his hands off her. She did manage to precent him from lifting that shirt even further and he stepped up into her back so she coud feel more of those contours of his body pressing against his own as he licked against her neck.

Despite her raised voice the Mezz was rather impassive as it watched the pair, or maye the light seeing if they would leave it't protection.

Harold might have over powered her, might have wrestled her to the ground but didn't at least not yet anyway.

“Oh, come on, you know you want it. You came here of all places with a complete stranger to a dark place. Wat else did you truly have in mind? Wat ese did you expect to happen?”

The curve of her spine changed infinitesimally as he pressed her back against his body. She hadn't even noticed it but it was inviting. Her body reacting to his, sexual instincts kicking in without her knowledge or consent. She certainly wouldn't admit to wanting this man, even if the thought had crossed her mind earlier. Whatever, she was over it now. "I expected to you to guide me through the city, let you promised." She continued trying to pry his hands off her body, or at least prevent them from roaming. She couldn't stop his tongue from tracing lazily along the line of her neck, nor could she stop the tingles that tiny touch was sending through her to gather 'round the meeting of her thighs. "Let go of me or I swear to god I'll..." She trailed off, not sure what she could do if she didn't first break free of his hold.

Aegir of course manipulated the dream a little to some of her hidden desires though he was not quiet ready yet … oh, no, he intended on teasing her just a little right now and while there were several “interuptions” he had in mind he choose the one that would probably unsettle her the most as so far as getting her even further involved in things if this in fact wasn't enough!

Harold halted, even though his hands were stronger than her's even when it did not seem that she could break free she was able to do so as he made no attempt to hold her still. It was hardly a case of him being alarmed by her words or caving in to her threats but rather, if she had looked he was gazing out at the shadows, an astonished look on his features as if he had seen something out there.

“Let's go -”

"You are joking, right?! After what you just pulled?" She turned around to slap him but stopped when she saw the look in his eyes. He wasn't looking at her but at something behind her. Her spine became a steel rod and the fine hairs on the back of her head stood on end. "What is it?" She whispered, afraid of what it could be.

“Fine stay here.” He was to eager to be away from here than delaying any further and snatched up the lantern rather than answer any questions immediately. Could it have … no, that didn't make much sense … but he of all people could be certain … he knew, he had the proof of course and few of the villagers had know, at least initially. His neighbor about the only one that looked on the situation with any tolerance.

It grew darker now, forcing her to keep up to remain in that circle of light as she noticed the Mezz they had seen early dcarting into the shadows, approaching her no doubt.

“It's ...” he snapped as she approached … “I think it was one of them!”

Kirsty hurried to keep it with him. Not wishing to pass out of the protective circle of light. "Saw one of what?" She asked, her heart pounding in her chest. "Not one of the..." She choked on the word Tommyknockers. She shot a worried glance over her shoulder and then hurried to match Harold's stride. Thank God for her long legs. "You said you didn't believe in them."

He nodded though he kept moving until they were well clear of the area. “I don't there all dead – all but one ….”

He sat down, glanced back the way they came then back to her. “It should be safe now, they cannot move too far from their ships.” How he knew this he did not explain though a frown of concern crossed his face.

“Only one survived the crash … so long ago … only one.”

How he knew about it was beyond her though if he knew that they were all dead then there would be no reason to believe that they no longer existed here, right? It was an odd way of looking at something but she supposed it may have made sense, though she was dealing with people that mistook her fiance as a would be wizard too and she the wife (or in one case the fiance) of this wizard.

"One survived? And it saw us?" Kirsty's heart was in her throat now. She dropped to her knees in front of him and grabbed his hands to get his attention back on her. "What are we going to do then? You said we had to pass the crash to get out of here. Is there another exit?" Kirsty no longer cared about getting to the next town faster. She just wanted out of this underground city. They couldn't go back the way they came but maybe there was another way out. One that didn't take them near the tommyknocker's ship.

He looked at her, she was frightened all right. He shook his head though then knelt forward. He had to explain now it seemed, well he didn't have to but it made somewhat more sense if he did so.

“No, that one is dead now … this one is different though it could have been a trick of the light and shadows too.”

But Harold did not seem to be convienced about that. “She told me the others were -” he paused, his eyes widening. What he thought was a language barrier was not an issue, she had been speaking correctly and he had assumed that she was mispeaking!

“It knows where down here, it would have seen the light and our silhohetts too. God, we got to get out of here.” He sighed, shook his head and thought.

“My wife … well for lack of a better word, was one of those things … she was a guardian I guess, she said the others were sleeping, I pressed her and thought she meant dead and that she was alone down here … god I was so wrong!”

He paled as he sat back, then shook his head. “There was a cave in up ahead so we can't go too much further so it's either doubling back or using one of the passages before the cave in, they're all unsafe though and about ready to collapse but I don;t see that we have much of a choice now.”

His story unnerved and confused her. His wife had been one of the aliens and had told him the other were sleeping. Meaning they weren't dead and that they were still here? And apparently not asleep anymore either. She stood up, stilling holding his hands, encouraging him to stand with her. "I'm willing to try anything. Let's hurry though. I don't have any desire to be found by those... things while we're trapped down here."

He stood, encouraged by her. “It's alright, we should be safe here. There's something at the ship that they need that they can't stray far from. Sort of like plucking a fish out of water. It might survive for a little while but eventually can't breath.

“I don't know what the full story is, only that my wife never ranged too far ...”

Then it sort of clicked. He had a son! If it were his child by her – was that even possible! Did it make sense! This was a dream after all that was shaping up to be a nightmare for her in a way, though the storm clouds hovered on the horizon it was not quiet raining yet either.

“Alright then, this way,” Harold lead her through dark musty tunnels where they encountered more Mezz that appeared to be some sort of skinless reptiles though they scurried away from the light as it neared and would remain hidden well after it had passed.

The air was stale though as he moved along she felt the breeze emitting from one of them. “This way.”

"How far could your travel from the ship?" She questioned him as they walked. She assumed if the woman had been married to him then she must have at the very been able to get to the town. If that was true then they were in trouble. "Was she special in some way that allowed her to travel further than the others?"

“There are two ships, the big one, that causes sickness that she never let me near and the smaller craft which was suppose to be a life boat I assumed. She herself could not go too far from the ships though and most of our time here was spent near the smaller of the ships.

“I didn't know then and assumed she was on the life pod to begin with but I'm making an assumption that she pro bably alerted others of her people to lend assistant while the others hibernated seeing how the assistance would take ahile to get here … I assume,” he sighed then shook his head.

At least he had been spooked enough to have stopped what he was doing before he got to far but still … grays? It had to be those Roswell gray types, well perhaps they weren't so short, maybe there were some differences after all.

“She could never come this far so I think we're safe. I was down here all the time so no one above knew what was going on but they suspected, especially when I came back with the baby a few years back. The child could leave, the mother could not so he wasn't dependant on this invisible force that kept Mimi here. That was her first word in English, 'Me', so I wound up calling her Mimi,” he explained as her reminisced a little and edxplained matters a little clearer to Kristy.

Kirsty turned to give Harold a speculative look. How had this man gotten involved with an alien? Not that she was judging but it was a hard concept to wrap her head around. Well, maybe if it wasn't grays, she thought. Surely there were other kinds of aliens, ones that didn't frighten her so much. "What was she like?" She asked curiously, suddenly wanting to hear more of this story. Hoping it would give her a deeper understanding of this man.
