Not my best work ...There were some errors that she had not caught, other things that he had wished he had cleaned up better. He would have let the sequence play out a little bit longer but effectively he was teasing himself, while she got to experience her own bliss Aegir could only feel her own and never reach his own. It took Nell a moment to reorient herself to reality. She laid there on the bed for a time, seconds really, completely lost. Where was she again? Who was she? Aegir's voice jarred her right out of her confusion and she sat bolt upright. Dear god, that had all been a dream!! An amazing, sensual dream that had been orchestrated by a monster to seduce her... with her own permission!

She closed her eyes for a moment and tried to think but it was no good. She opened her eyes and forced herself to look at Aegir. She didn't flinch at his appearance this time but she did feel uncomfortably naked. Not just her body but her soul. Like she'd been laid bare before this creature and it frightened her as much as it awed her. Did he even realize what he had just done to her? How that one amazing dream had shook her to the core? What did you say to a creature who had been so intimately inside you and then retreated gently with nothing but apologies for not getting all the details just right?

"It did at that..." She somehow managed to say. "Seem real, i mean. Too real..." She added sadly and then she laid back down and curled up into a ball on her side. Dear god, it had been a dream... She had had love for a brief moment and now it was gone again. She breathed and wiped silent tears from her eyes. "I'm sorry... It was beautiful. I... umm... will not forget what I owe you for this..." She really did owe him big for that one. She'd lost all hope that she'd ever find real love but Aegir had given her a beautiful dream to hold onto. One she knew she'd recall and relive when times got really bad again, as they were bound to do here. "Thank you." She added softly. No better words coming to mind.

(*sighs* You know you are far too involved with your characters when they bring you to tears while writing them. My Poor Nell. I might have to retire her soon. Sometime after her next encounter with Aegir though. I'm looking forward to that one too. ^.^)

He studied her for a moment, he ralized some of the things that were filtering through her mind, that she regretted not being there for real, in being cast back into this hell of here's. He had hurt her with bringing her back to reality despite the pleasantness of the dream.

Aegir would have liked to continue it longer too if he had trusted himself, thus far he had only touched upon her mind, thrice now … he was patient of course, but he was getting aroused, too aroused by the situation. Now he could have explained what the future held or some of the possibilities it had but she had told him that it was enough for her to know that this was not going to be forever.

There was that portion within her that believed that she owed him for this, that she had to pay him back in some way but he gazed down at her as she wrestled with the thoughts of reality as they closed in on her. Such heavy thoughts, he had felt them, the memories of some of her experiences had been upon her very mind then.

She may not have wanted to know, but he had slithered closer to the edge of the bed. Reaching down he let a hand settle down against her skin as if reminding her that he was still present. The touch was not restraining or sexual in nature and they could always have this, though he could ease her mind, erase it so to speak that defeated the purpose of winning her over, if there were no painful memories there could be no pleasant ones.

Nell shakes her head and sat up to face him again. "No, don't apologize." She wiped the last reminisce of tears from her eyes with determination. "You gave me what I asked for and I am truly grateful. It struck a nerve but that was not your fault. That scar was given to me by another... I thought I was over it but clearly I'm not. Again not your fault. And I do owe you..." She looked meaningfully down at his crotch and then quickly up again to meet his gaze. "If not for the dream then for your... patience. A little shread of hope does no harm here, though you can never return home upon graduation you leave this world, often aliens get a hold of such “shipments” and the students are sold off as slaves, that is the most common of fates. In addition though, sometimes a ship is saved by … well, I shouldn't get too detailed or get your hopes up too much, just know that you might be given a choice, you might be rescued and you might get to fight back some, granted it might not change your situation much when weapons are stripped away but …

Well, I have said tooo much. Just know that I was once considered a deity on numerous worlds, your kind revered me as an ancient sea deity, the Norse did anyway. I have vast riches as a consequence and getting a hold of you should be easy enough if the first fate awaits you. Rest asurd of that.

He bowed his head to her then. His mind following her thoughts as she processed all he said about matters. All the torment could end … then again it could only be beginning if the wrong individuals got a hold of her too but clearly that was not going to happen if he had a say about it. Slave or not she had been lucky in that she had his attention, that he had decided to challenge himself further than the inhibitors allowed.

Nell listened thoughtfully to this new information. It did give her a tiny bit of hope to know the school would let her leave after she graduated. Still, that road, it seemed had its own obstacles. Just graduating wouldn't be enough. She would still need to get stronger and smarter. If he had not lost interest in her by then, Luju would surely have a trap waiting for her after graduation. She doubted he would wait until she got onto a shuttle and risk losing her to other monsters.

She sighed and stood up. She had other monsters to worry about too. Aegir's promise to "buy" her should she be taken by slavers was hardly reassuring. True, he'd be a better master than Luju but she'd still be a slave. Would he let her go once he acquired her? She glanced back in his direction and considered this for a moment. He might... She could ask him but decided against it. That future was still a long way off and she was weary of dwelling on it. "Thank you again. That information does put my mind at ease a bit. I clearly have a lot of thinking to do but I believe I've reached my limit of that tonight. You said you would send your node for me if two weeks, correct? I will contact you when I am ready to meet you again."

Aegir had not been pressing into her head otherwise he could have answered some of those concerns and questions that she had though there was always later as this gave her more time to dwell upon what they spoke of today.

Two months … it will take me about that long to grow one and you can contact me when it is completed. Suffice it to say that I will continue to visit you frequently throughout that time. That is if you are willing I can always give you more dreams as the node grows. You will have plenty of time to come to terms with what I told you, and a decision in the future. Regardless of what it maybe my dear but I will leave you to digest these thoughts.

And with that he moved towards the door, waited until he sensed no minds in the hall outside then slipped outside invoking his illusionary powers when necessary as he departed from her for the evening.
