There was a brief silence before Vera's voice came from the darkness. "You are on time, good," she stated calmly, "I am pleased to see you are calm, Ms Crowell. Despite any rumors you may hear, the basement is not a place of punishment but of correction. Sexually assaulting a Head Girl or anyone for that matter is a grave offense. It is a crime in fact so I will be blunt. You prove to be incapable of correction, I will turn you in to the local authorities. Your life as a student will be over and you will spend the rest of your time in the local cell until the Headmasters and the police figure out what to do with you. Do I make myself clear?"

The Head Girl wanted to make extra clear that what Vanessa did back in her suite was not some basic rules violation. This student was on thin ice and Vera was not going to take any nonsense.
