It was her first time away from her home, used to extravagant things, born into a wealthy family, but the possessions meant nothing without a proper education and a worldy view her mother had told her. Pushing upon her the applications to this esteemed and out of the way school. There was no doubt in either of her parents mind that their daughter would have any trouble getting into the school, being top in her class and a devote volunteer.
