Sondra will be escorted from her dorm room by Miss Jaquiline Kemp tomorrow afternoon at a time between 2:30 and 3:00PM, and remain there for as long as is needed to reform the rebelious Senior Student, using as much force as necessary to bring this troublesome woman to her senses.

Miss Van Ryan has set a terrible example for her fellow students for the last five years, and it has become the opinion of the faculty staff that it is long past time that The Disciplinary Department make an example out of her.

Jezebel Grinned evilly as she stood in front of Sondra's door in her disguise as Jackie Kemp, TA to English professor Ms. Karen Stevens, among other things. Miss Kemp wore many hats around the campus building, mostly assisting the administration or the school faculty in some way, while secretly Jezebel was subtly manipulating events behind the sceenes. Like this one, for example. The letter had been her doing. Miss Livingston did not even exist, except in the minds of the school staff.

As for the contents of the letter itself, Jezebel had simply looked up Sondra's files for inspiration and embellished it to make it look like Miss Van Ryan was practically the worst student in the entire school. The devious little succubus particularly liked the part of the letter at the second to last paragraph, where she had given Miss Steel free reign to do whatever she wanted to the little slut for as long as she desired.

Jezebel only wished that she could join in on the festivities, but unfortunately, 'Miss Kemp' had many other 'duties' to perform today. No matter, she had plans of her own for this one, plans that would involve a certain pink-haired angel, and perhaps her blue-skinned friend Kazari could join in as well.

Her grin widened at that point as she extended her hand forward and knocked on Sondra's door...

Jackie:

The gray woman paused in her work. Her arm wiped across her forehead as if to clear away sweat, but she could only produce such waste by focusing intentionally on it. Father's memories brought some odd instincts with them. She stepped away from the hot forge with the still-searing steel between two fingers and dropped it on a heavy metal table to cool. Careful to use her other hand, she picked up the letter and scanned it again. That number kept jumping out at her. Trying to even conceive of a girl getting in this much trouble was difficult. Adding in that she was Father's age, and an old acquaintance, was baffling. That she could remember the student from memories she hadn't lived brought a pleased smile to her lips.

She settled the sheet of paper back onto the work table and turned back to the piece she was crafting to commemorate Sondra's visit. She lifted the heavy collar, wrought by hand, and settled the pin in to finish that part. Briefly, she lamented being unable to send the girl back wearing it, but she'd make sure the weight of it would carry in her mind for awhile. The other parts of the restraints were hooked onto the front of the collar via chains, and the entire thing was laid out to be finished. It wouldn't be long before her guest was escorted down into the scorching furnace's outer chambers.

Sondra fumed as she paced back and forth across the room with a letter in one hand, and a small glass of Dr. Pepper in the other. She was wearing her school uniform that day; after all, considering where she was being sent, Sondra wasn't about to wear any of her clothes that she would get upset over when they were sure to get destroyed.

She had gotten a notice from the school administration last night, complete with an unbelievably long list of trumped up, bullshit infractions. Sexual harassment! What the fuck are they talking about? I never sexually harassed anyone in my life! What? did fucking Mrs. Jameson complain because I suggested that she might not be such a tightass all the time if she'd just go and get laid sometime?

Then there was the other charges. 1,000 counts of leaving class unexcused? That's like one a day! I guess they don't count being sent down to the Basement every day as an excused leave of absence. And the disruptive classroom conduct? Probably all the times I got caught flicking the bean in class...

Just then, she heard a knock at the door, derailing her train of thought. "Shit, here we go..." Sondra said with a sigh. Quickly, Sondra downed her pop, careful not to spill a drop on her nice, clean carpet, and set the cup down in the kitchen sink before heading out the door, saying not a word to Jackie as she swept past the TA and strode on down the hall, ready to get her punishment done and over with.

If Sondra only knew just how severe her punishment was going to be...

'Jackie' grinned wickedly at Sondra's back as the woman strode purposefully down the hall. It sseemss tthhat tthhisss young rebel iss determined to meet her fate head-on the well-disguised demoness thought to herself as she hurried to keep up with Sondra as the lovely blonde rapidly made her way towards her destination.

"We're supposed to be walking together, if you recall, Sondra," Jackie said in mock admonishment, keeping her tone light, despite the mood of the moment, as the dark-haired woman gently took Sondra's hand in her own, both woman moving quickly down the stairs towards the main doors...

About fifteen, twenty minutes later Sondra and 'Jackie' were moving quickly through the campus halls, heading towards a rather imposing steel door that was the entrance to the infamous Basement. The steel door, rather heavy by the standards of a mere mortal, swung open easily in the she-demon's strong grip and the two girls descended down the stairs in silence as they entered the cold, dark Basement.

This was quite definitely Jezebel's most favorite location in the entire island. Jezebel was evil, cruel, and sadistic, to say the least, and the Basement always brought out the best of her darker side. The place was a veritable sadist's wet dream. So many ingenious implements of torture, so many ways to torment and humiliate her victims...Jezebel enjoyed the place so much that she had even set up her own secret lair in an old abandoned sub-basement that nobody knew about but her.

'Jackie' looked around the main chambers in search of Miss Steel. There was nobody in the room except Sondra and herself, but nevertheless, the demoness detected a third presence somewhere very near. Using her 'mind expanding' trick, the succubus found the source was coming from a furnace room nearby, and immediately proceeded to escort the young blonde towards the scorching inferno of a room.

"Miss Steel?" 'Jackie' said, addressing the gray one with apparent nervousness, "Um, Jackie Kemp here...I uh, I'm terribly s-sorry to keep you waiting like this, ma'am."

The dark-haired TA shuffled her feet as she rattled on nervously, "Th-the Admins have me doing a gazillion things today, k-kinda got held up for a while. Busy, busy. Y-you know how it is, m-ma'am. Anyway, I-I've got Miss Van Ryan here with me as p-promised in the, uh, the letter. So, I'll just l-leave you to it, then, ma'am. If you, ah, need any extra assistance, I'll b-be in the A-Administration and S-Student Enrollment office. The, um, the extension should be in the, uh, the letter you received. I-I will come back when it's t-time to escort this young lady b-back to her dorm. G-good day to you, ma'am."

Then turning to Sondra, a look of deep sympathy in her eyes, she added, "Good bye, Sondra, and good luck. Until next we meet." With out another word, 'Jackie' raced down the corridor like the seat of her pants had just caught on fire and made a hasty exit out the door, which slammed shut behind her. The door was then sealed magically, with an impenetrable telekinetic barrier put in place on either side. The barrier extended far enough in all directions that there would be no way of getting around it in any direction.

Jezebel then set up the same invisible field around every doorway in the basement, including the entrance to the furnace chamber. The devious little succubus even placed invisible walls strategically around the Basement itself in a labyrinthine pattern, just for the fun of it.

There would be no way in or out for Sondra, except by one of two means, by Jezebel herself dispelling the barriers when she was to be released, or by certain enchanted devices created by the crafty she-demon. Two such devices, an ornate bracelet made out of a solid piece of polished black diamond flecked with silver and shaped into a winged serpent with two small rubies for the eyes, magically appeared on Miss Steel's table in a puff of smoke. Next to the enchanted items was a folded letter written in red ink and sealed in a small black envelope. The wax seal, also red, was an embossed serpent's head with a capital 'J' engraved in the background. The letter itself read:

Miss Steel,

I left up a large number of invisible barriers around the Basement as added insurance against Sondra's escape, and also for a little added entertainment, should you wish to use them to toy with your prey. The bracelet I left you is the only means to get through the fields without my physical aid. There are three enchantments placed upon the bracelet which you should find useful.

The first enchantment allows you to see the telekinetic barriers I put up. They will glow bright wherever they are. The second will allow you to pass through said barriers as if you were a spectre. These two enchantments are passive and require no command words to activate.

The third enchantment allows you to create and deactivate barriers at will. This enchantment is very easy to use. Simply picture in your mind where you want the field to be and how big you want to make it, then use the mental command "Activate". To get rid of a barrier, think about which one you want to eliminate and use the mental command "Deactivate".

A friend of mine, a fellow succubus by the name of Kazari, may show up to join in the festivities. I will watch out for her telepathically, and if she comes, I will give her a bracelet upon her arrival. I regret that I myself am unable to remain for the fun, but alas, there are many other duties for 'Jackie' to perform before the day is out. However, I look foreword to working with you in the future.

Steel was more than familiar with Jezebel's love of the terrible place. The gray woman was suffused with the essence of the basement. She was crafted below, and had lived there for the entirety of her separate life. Every corridor, every passage, and every room were familiar too her. If she breathed, each of exhalation would have tasted of the stale air below.

It was with the familiar hunger of a fresh captive to abuse that the yellow-green eyes shone as they slid between the two women before her. She stood calmly, wrapped in her usual vest and shorts, and regarded them with a cool expression only betrayed by the glint in her unnatural eyes. At the assistant's disappearance and the flash of smoke, a gray hand lifted and held a finger in the air to silently instruct the blond woman to be patient. Bare feet padded softly across the hard, smooth floor to the table littered with tools, tiny scraps of metal, and the restraints designed to punish the disobedient senior. Fingers closed over the bracelet and the letter, cracked the seal on the latter, and flipped it open to read silently.

The faintest hint of a smile curled gray lips as she finished reading. The bracelet slid comfortably over her left hand and settled onto her wrist. She held the thing up to inspect and marveled briefly at the craftsmanship of it. She would have to discuss such a thing with its creator at a later time, when she wasn't quite so busy.

The smile vanished to be replaced by a stern mask barely containing a deep anger as Steel turned back towards Sondra. The letter dropped onto the table as she strode back towards the delinquent in her care.

"Seven thousand eight hundred ninety four. Seven. Thousand. Eight Hundred. And ninety four." Her voice was like frost-coated iron laid against the student's back. "I have never, in my entire time here, encountered such a brazen disregard for the rules. I'll give you thirty seconds to plead your case as to why I shouldn't give you a lash for every single one of these infractions." Yellow eyes narrowed down and focused tightly on the young woman's.

From the corner of the room, walked out a woman dressed in a plaid skirt white stockings and a white button up blouse. Her hair was a light brown all done up in a pony tail. She wore a pair of glasses, her red heels clicked along the floor as she approached. "well well well if it isnt Miss steel?....and the lovely yet whorish Sondra" The woman grinned at the student. Walking up to the older woman she grabbed her hand and kissed it gently. "pleasure to make your aquaintene miss Steel" Standing back up and handing her a folder full of papers. "i was asked to bring you these the Admin apparently found out that upon further inspection of Miss Sondra's room she has been hiding illegal goods on campus...one particularly a pendant that i think...belongs to you Miss Steel" She produced a beautiful dark emerald pendant and handed it to the the woman. "this was among other stolen property from the school board...this slut has been busy i assure you"

"it doesn't really matter what I say, does it?" Sondra replied in a calm, flat tone as she crossed her arms in defiance, her face devoid of any emotion as she stared at the gray woman. "Every word I say in my defense, valid or not, will only be as lies and hollow excuses to your ears."

"I have been through this shit pretty much every day since I arrived on this horrible fucking god-forsaken island, as I'm sure you well know by now, and it's always the same shit over and over again. Some freak of nature like you shows up to deliver my 'punishment'. I speak up in my own defense."

"Nothing good comes out of it, and I end up being lectured at and getting the shit beat out of me, just for 'speaking excuses and mis-truths'. Then, the real 'discipline' begins, and I get raped and beaten for who knows how long. Finally, when it's all over with, I leave with a lot more bruises and one more tattered and torn uniform. And then I get sent back down again by the teacher in my next class for tardiness and being 'insufficiently attired', and the fun begins anew."

"I have literally been here over a thousand times already, madam." Sondra continued, pointedly ignoring the stream of bullshit the other woman was spewing out, "That's a lot of lashes. If you think the prospect of receiving a few more scares me even a little bit, you are sadly mistaken. I've gone through much worse already, at the hands...or shall I say tentacles...of more terrible creatures than yourself, Torak, Sicko, Straps, and Grail ranking the highest among them."

"Those ugly fucks were supposed to be the most evil, sadistic bastards ever to step foot on Shokushu. I got through all that shit more or less in one piece and survived to live another day. Those fucking assholes didn't scare me then, and you sure as hell don't frighten me now."

"So, now that I'm through wasting my breath on your sorry ass, perhaps we can get this shit over with. I can't hang around this fucking hellhole all century, you know. I've got places to go and people to do."

Quite a moutthh you have there, Misss Van Ryan. Jezebel thought with a chuckle as she watched the events taking place in the Basement's furnace chamber. Your tone will sssoon cchhange, tthhough. By the time tthhose two are tthhrough with you, you'll be begging for tthheir mercy...

Jezebel, still in her disguise, was sitting at her desk in the private office afforded to her under her assumed role as Administrative Assistant, one of the many titles 'given' to her by the higher-ups. Along with all the expensive oak furnishings and pricey artwork in the rather spacious office, there was a sleek 24" plasma t.v. mounted on the wall.

Using one of her more ingenious tricks, the thrifty red-haired succubus had used her demonic powers to project everything seen by her mind's eye onto the television set. It was somewhat like connecting one of those S-Video hook-ups from a computer to a nearby t.v. and being able to see the computer's images projected onto both screens. This way she was able to get her work done and witness Sonda's torment at the same time.

Meanwhile, back in Steel's furnace chamber, another bracelet, a twin of the one now adorning the gray woman's left wrist, appeared in a puff of smoke. Next to the bracelet was a small black card with the words "FOR KAZARI" written neatly on the front in bold red letters. Inside the card was a short, rather basic note in the same writing. It said:

This bracelet is for you. It contains a few interesting enchantments. Follow the letter written to Miss Steel for instructions on how to use it.

The necklace turned briefly in the gray woman's grasp, held up to the flickering light. She dropped it over her shoulders with an exasperated sigh. "My thanks for this. I thought I'd lost it into the fires." Another gift was such an unexpected thing. She'd have to craft things in return for the other two once she got the chance. A brief spark of an idea flared and was set aside as her colleague finished her bid to purchase more pain for their prey.

As Sondra spoke, Steel's visage remained a grim, stern mask. In her mind formed words in response to the woman's rant. It was so pleasing to hear straightforward truth instead of the usual pleading and excuses the creatures usually made when threatened. She found it ironic that she'd started off by saying that it wouldn't do her any good, for it already had. Despite it all, she met Sondra's gaze steadily and indifferently.

The mention of more terrible creatures required a wrench of will not to roll her eyes. She was quite likely the cruelest thing currently haunting these halls, and yet others insisted on belittling her accomplishment. The names were a different element. Normally there wasn't such a list. The siblings, of course, held a slim layer of respect, even if she considered Torak's hardened shell a weakness. The third name, though, drove the grim expression from her face.

Her eyes lit up at the mention of Straps, and a broad smile curled her lips. It was such a treat meeting things that had been under Mother's care at one time or another. Steel's mind raced through her plans for the night and measured them closely against the pale woman's work. She was thus caught in reverie when Kazari stepped forward to respond.

This creature here to assist was quick of tongue. The gray woman found her brash and a bit coarse, which is the only thing that stilled her wrath on hearing her progenitor's works treated as beneath Kazari's. She still strode forward and placed a slightly shaking hand on the demoness' shoulder to pull her away from the student as pointed finger graced her chin.

"My dear, she has most certainly seen a slice of Hell if she has dealt with Mother. You would do well to remember that," she said. Her voice was cold once more as she fixed the blue woman with a brief glare before turning back to Sondra. "Now, Miss Van Ryan, your words have indeed spared you that full count of blows. You've clearly been punished properly for some of these offenses lain before you. Unfortunately, you've clearly not learned the true lesson we've been trying to instill in you all this time. I doubt the suffering you will experience here today will finally get through your thick head, but it should build towards your proper understanding."

"Oh my, you two sure know how to terrify someone." Sondra replied as she rolled her eyes at the arrogant blue-skinned demoness and the haughty gray creature standing before her. This shit was getting boring fast. If the two monsters planned on carrying on like this the whole night, then Sondra would just walk out on the two monsters and head straight back to her dorm room, consequences be damned.

"Forget whips, chains, and tentacles. All you need to do is stand in front of a student and bore her half to death with idle threats and age-old clichés. Just standing here and listening to the two of you dumb shits spew forth the same lines of bullshit that has come out of the mouths of god knows how many other freaks on this island is enough to make anyone want to cover their ears and run away screaming."

Shaking her head, Sondra added, "Can't you losers ever come up with any new material? Fuck, it's like all you monsters get together and read out of the same freakin' quote book or something. I'll bet I'll be hearing words like 'slut', 'whore', and 'fuck toy' pretty much the whole time I'm here, which I must say won't be for too much longer if I have to keep standing around here just to hear you two chatter-boxes yammer all night about the shit that you assholes plan on doing to me. As a matter of fact, I think I'm done listening right now. So long, bitches, and have a rotten night..."

With that, Sondra turned her back on the two creatures and made to step quickly out of the room...and then bam! Straight into an invisible barrier that had somehow appeared where there had been none before, causing the dazed and confused blonde to stagger backwards a few steps. The forcefield, which seemed to extend along the entire length of the wall, began to shimmer a bright red for a second or two before going invisible again.

"Well, this sucks..." Sondra said to no-one in particular, scratching her head ponderously as she stood in front of the doorway, trying to think of another way out...

Mocking laughter filled the furnace chamber as Sondra tried to escape through the magically sealed doorway. "I don't tthhink sso, my dear. Tthhe letter ssaid tthat you would sstay down here for ass long ass Miss Ssteel ssseess fit, and ssstay you will."

Using another new trick that Jezebel had recently learned, the crafty succubus created a holographic image of herself to appear in the Furnace Chamber in a pillar of bright red and orange flame, standing between Sondra and the doorway with her wings folded behind her back and her arms folded across her chest, a stern look on her face as she glared at the impertinent young blonde.

"You have brought tthhiss down upon yoursself. You violated the ruless. You dissresspected your peerss and tthhe faculty sstaff. You've lied, sstolen, and cchheated. You caussed physsical harm to your teacchherss and your fellow classmatess. You have done all of tthhiss and so mucchh more."

Jezebel took an angry step forward poking her index finger at (or rather, through, as this was a hologram and not the real demoness) Sondra's chest.

"You desserve to be punisshhed sseverely for tthhesse atrocciouss deedss, and you know it, yet you have the nerve to sstand here witthh your more-righteouss-tthhan-tthhou attitude and inssult thesse fine women who are only doing tthheir job, whicchh iss to punisshh nassty little delinquentss ssucchh ass yoursself for breaking the rulesss. And tthhen you refusse to remain here to exccept your mucchh-desserved punisshhment, tthhinking you can jusst walk out any time you damn well pleasse, jusst becausse you'd rather not sstay and lissten to tthhese two 'cchhatter-boxess', ass you so cchharmingly referred to my colleaguess here, deccide what to do witthh you."

Turning to look at her comrades, she added, "It sseemss tthhat Miss Van Ryan iss ratthher unwilling to cooperate, my friendss. It iss my opinion tthhat her poor attitude and blatant dissrespect callsss for twicce tthhe amount of lasshhess tthhat you had originally planned on giving to tthhiss young lady. However, even tthhat might not be enough for tthiss little deviant. I believe Ssondra'ss actionss, botthh passt and current, call for the harsshhest and mosst painful of punisshhmentss tthhat you two ladiess can mete out...at tassk whicchh I'm ssure you botthh are more tthhan willing to do accomplisshh."
