Sayuri sat and nodded thoughtfully as Dawn explained things to her. She chewed her jerky to keep herself from interrupting at one or two points, then swallowed a pull of it once the blond woman appeared to be finished speaking.

"Well... what if we could figure it out? Maybe... maybe it's triggered by something you're doing. Like they're trying to keep you from thinking about certain things. I hate that they're in our minds. I've had to fracture mind so they can't find everything and I keep losing things and it's annoying."

"I thought about that actually, but it never happens when I expect myself to remember. I have always thought about it what might trigger it, and it never happens on cue. I am sure by now it isn't what I am thinking, like just now, what happened," I pointed at the hallway and sighed, "I always gotten a feeling of I was being watched when it happens. I can't imagine it might be, this is the reason why I think it is completely random...you know?" Ya it can be random, but what just happened now also proved it might be triggered on cue if someone was watching, but how does that work? Who can trigger something like this on cue anyway? Plus that and how does this gift work? It isn't like this has a button to press anyway...

"They're probably doing it at random to make you paranoid. Keep you worried you're being watched and you'll be on your best behavior all the time." Sayuri nodded and cast her eyes along the edges of the alcove they were tucked in as she bent down and began gently massaging Dawn's temples. "Let me know if any of this works. If you can find a way to get past the headaches, you'll have one up on them. Unless this kicks up when a monster's nearby. Then you might get headaches from their smells. I really hate the smells, but it's useful, you know? Gives me an idea of when to duck and hide."

"I don't think they are doing it on purpose to piss me off. Although I can carely see them doing so, however knowing that i have this special ability, i think i would have been able to pick up something by now and so far i haven't..." I turn around and see Sayuri sit behind me and started rubbing my head's temples. It does help a bit, but it kind of hurts at the same time, this temple rubbing thing never was my thing, i was always able to control it. It was just very hard this time around, for some reason, i had a very sneaking suspicion they were watching, and it just happens at the same time. "i can...think of how you are thinking, but i still think it is random, after all if it was i would have known about it some how..."

Sensing Dawn's irritation at the massage, Sayuri let her hands slip away. The feral girl shook her head and slipped back around so she could sit facing her friend.

"You can't expcect them to let the secrets slip. You have to look for the patterns. Like that they serve more meat right after someone goes missing. That's where they send the girls who don't make it." Sayuri nodded matter-of-factly and looked Dawn over. "Don't ever eat the steak. Though, if you could palm a couple of knives for me the next time they serve it..." She shook her head and rapped lightly on her skull. "Sorry. We're helping you now. Okay. Maybe it is just random. That can't be it, though, 'cause then we can't do anything about it."

"No you're massage wasn't annoying me, it's just the thought of what the campus is going through just to keep us there that annoys me. Just the thought of it angers me..." I mumble a little bit more before sighing quietly. "I hope what you're saying is wrong, i won't want to eat it if it is true at what you're poking at."

"You just have to start seeing the things behind the scenes by what slips out up front. You're getting headaches, right? Well, no one else does. They tagged you. Maybe they think you're dangerous. That's the best news ever, if it's true. That means you can help hurt them. That's what we need. Well, that and a whole crate full of rape counselors." The feral girl glared off to the side, as if daring some creature to come and try itself on her blades instead of slipping into another helpless student's room.

"I don't know, if that's true then it would explain why I believe I am being watched 24/7. Having headaches isn't what i choose to describe what i go through every day, I would say it's more along the lines of someone's throwing my head around inside a can...or something..." What should I do? I really have no options, maybe Sayuri can help, in ways that even i can't do. Having a 6th sense means nothing if the people that accidentally gave it to you knows how to neutralize and keep it from being used against them. i need to find that way, a way to turn my "gift" into an actual gift.

Sayuri turned back to Dawn and blinked her eyes twice as an idea almost visibly struck her in the head, leaving her briefly stunned. Dawn was marked and changed, but she didn't have control of the change. Well...

"What if you went back to the labs? It will suck, suck, suck, I'm sure, but maybe you can get lucky and get whatever they did to you working how you want it. And, besides, it's not like they can do much worse than they already have. Well, unless they blind you... or cut off all your toes... or sew a uniform into your skin and rip it off... or-" The madwoman slapped herself to stop the words from flowing. "Anyway, back to Hell to shove your face into the furnace and burn off the hurting. It's what I did with the basement, and it showed me all kinds of things."

"That's the thing I am worried about, I know i been there before, but I don't know how many times I actually been there after I gotten my so called 'gift'." I really don't want to think of what might happen if I run across this problem again. Hopefully I don't have to think of it because just the thought of it gets me worked up. "I don't want to think about the N.I.C.E. Labs, I have nightmares in the morning because of those bastards, every single day I have to think of it. Trust me, you DON'T want to know they are watching you constantly because they made a mistake. I don't think they 'marked' me on purpose, rather on accident. Just they are keeping, an eye on me just encase i think..." This was all just theory of course, I have no way of backing up any of this.

The feral woman frowned and clambered up between the wall and the piping so she was a few feet from the ground.

"Oh. Oh, I get it. Yeah. Yeah yeah. Ya ya ya. Right, well, is your head doing better? I'm woefully late for checking the chemistry labs. I'm hoping to find an open one, y'see..." She let her voice trail off lightly as she cast dark eyes about in the cramped little tunnel.

In the back of her mind, she scratched the location from her list of safe places. The more she spoke with Dawn, the more dangerous it was sounding to be near her.

"I am dangerous to be around, trust me I know that. You don't have to NOT think about it. Hence is more important for...us to get off this place. I don't feel safe here anymore, if I at least can get what's left of our senior classmates out here, I can at least stay here with some confidence." That was true, if I can get them out, it doesn't matter what happens to me at all. I want to be able to know my friends have made it home, maybe they can tell others about this place so no more students arrive here. That is a long shot, there isn't a way for me to see beyond this decision.

"Well, alright, I'll keep out of Kim's room at night while you're sleeping with her," Sayuri said, jumping back to the impetus of all their conversation. "I'll, uh, leave something on the handle if Evy and I are using it. Oh, and don't go poking at anything in your old room. I might see if I can stash things under the floor or in little pockets, and it's better if you don't know about them." The feral girl nodded and slipped quickly back beside Dawn to give her a light kiss on the cheek. "Take care of Evy when I can't, and I'll look out for Kim when you can't. Stay safe." She turned and fluttered softly away, heading back to the stairwell on quiet feet.

"I will still stay there though, so don't keep anything too odd there." I turned to the exit while seeing Sayuri take her leave, I figured it will just be in time where she knows being around me is as dangerous as being with any monsters on campus. However I have control, some what anyway, not completely. "Be safe Sayuri, take my advice, that if I am no longer here, you and Kim are probably the only ones left on the campus from our Senior Class. If this happens and I am doubting it won't, you need to take care of Kim. She is too fragile already..."
